Park Avenue Grill

This is an easy place to visit on the West side of Idaho Falls. I would consider this a Mexican Grill, but they also have many regular menu items you would expect at most grills. The food was pretty good. If you time your visit just right, it’s a little less busy and you can sit quickly and get your food quickly. Everyone in my group ordered Mexican dishes and all seemed to be fairly happy with the quality. The restaurant was fairly clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

The food was amazing and the place was perfect. The server(young gentlemen) made the experience the most, helpful and professional. The food was really good, I got two chicken and two beef tacos, both were good. Small note, the chicken tacos were a little dry bc of the corn tortillas but still amazing.

We went here had a great experience. You order and pay when you first arrive. The employees are very helpful with suggestions. I ordered the house burrito with the marinated pork, Adobada. My wife ordered the chicken pesto panini sandwich with fries. They have a lot of drink options. The food was absolutely delicious. My adobada burrito came smothered with poblano cheese sauce and a tasty grill chili pepper on top. The cheese sauce is so good you’ll find yourself making sure each bite has some on it. The adobado was very flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend it for burritos or tacos. The chicken pesto panini was cooked perfectly and there was so much melted cheese. Excellent crunch. The flavors blended together so well this sandwich became an instant favorite. The fries are homemade and pair very well with their fry sauce. The hours are typically from 11-4PM so be sure to plan accordingly. The employees are very helpful and will ensure you have a great experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Update, we already went back and I got a burger and onion rings, very good. The onion rings are large. I recommend Park Avenue Grill.

We just discovered this place. Great find! They were super friendly, got my order correct which is rare with me, and the food was delicious.

We stopped by Park Avenue Grill and I am so glad we did! This was our first time here (but it certainly won't be our last), and we couldn't have asked for a better meal. Kevin greeted us promptly as we entered and was very helpful. I ordered the House Burrito and added chopped lettuce, onions and serrano peppers. As you can see by the photos, I ate it all and dang near licked my plate clean! My spouse had the Roasted Boar Sandwich which comes with delicious hand cut fries and a drink. She destroyed the sandwich and the fries (I managed to snag 2 fries from her and they were awesome). Kevin also let me try their salsa and it was lights out good! If you haven't tried Park Avenue Grill, I highly recommend giving them your business if you are looking for delicious food at a reasonable price. They also BBQ at the Idaho Brewing Company in Idaho Falls, every Friday evening. Thanks for such a great experience Kevin!

Excellent! I have been meaning to try the food here but have yet to until today. I ordered a House Carnitas Burrito. It was exceptional! I loved the House Poblano Creme Sauce. Delicious!!! I only gave a 4 because I have only tried the one item on the menu. However, I will definitely be returning with friends and family because this place deserves the business.

This was a delicious surprise during a long road trip. The food was well prepared, quick and more than we could eat. My daughter had Mac and cheese, she's 3, and it was creamy with bits of bacon. The chicken quesadilla was juicy and flavorful and my street tacos were refreshing and tasty.

Delicious food, I loved the cabeza and carnitas tacos. The owner is super nice and gave great advice on what we should try if we wanted something new.

They've moved to a new location on Yellowstone and it is nice and clean. Very spacious. Staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The Adobada tacos are fantastic, very flavorful. I've had them twice now. Their hand battered onions rings are awesome too. Probably the best in town! I've had them twice as well. My friends ordered a pork quesadilla and some nachos and they loved those too. Keep up the good work!

This was a terrific find in Idaho Falls! My colleague and I arrived in the area in desperate need of lunch. Among many chain restaurant locations, this small independent place was a welcome destination. We were greeted by a very helpful gentleman who could tell we were first-timers. He recommended the French dip and the chile verde burrito. Both were outstanding. I had the French dip, and it was one of the best I've ever had: Well-seasoned roast beef, beautifully sautéed mushrooms and onions, and just the right amount of cheese to add great flavor without being heavy. This would be a regular lunch spot if I was a local, but I'll definitely be back for the awesome food and service the next time I'm in town.

We were headed out of IF and needed to grab something to eat before heading south. This place popped up on Yelp and was close to the freeway so we decided to give it a try. It was AWESOME. The cashier/waiter was super attentive and helpful. He suggested chips and salsa and we're glad he did because the salsa was excellent with chunks of avocado & pico de gallo. We had a chicken quesadilla and some Carne Asada tacos, both were excellent. If I could give this place six stars I would! I've already told my daughter who lives in the area that she needs to give it at try!

Hubby has declared the chili verde burrito the best he's ever eaten! We're SoCal folks and so we know good Mexican food. Well done! Carne Asada tacos were good. The burger was an 8.5. All were happy. The staff was pleasant and efficient and even went above and beyond.

The food is great! Doesn't matter if it's tacos, burgers, or fries it's all good. The employees are always nice and quick with the food. When you walk in you can tell they are there to get you good food and a good time.

I'm conflicted with my experience. The service was fantastic and the food was served within a reasonable time, however, the tacos were a mix of bad and good. Starting with the positive, the Cabeza Taco was probably the best I've ever had, which says a lot because I order it all the time, and the chips and salsa were so much better than any other place in town. The other two tacos were not that great, especially the Lengua Taco, as it was dry and tough compared to others I've eaten previously. It wasn't inedible but just didn't have the right texture or flavor. I've heard really great things about this establishment from many friends and family. Next time I return, and I will come back soon, I'd like to try one of their burgers and revisit my review.

Wow! What a great place to eat in Idaho Falls. I saw all the great reviews so I gave it a shot. It a Mexican/American Restaurant. Serves Tacos Burritos, hamburger and other good food, check out the menu. If you find yourself looking for a great place to eat in Idaho Falls, stop here. I ordered the carne asada, beans and rice burrito, covered in their famous Poblano cheese sauce. It was great! Plenty of ingredients and the Poblano cheese sauce is excellent, not to heavy with great flavor. Wife got a lengua taco and a brisket taco, both were very good, the meat was cooked perfectly. I saw their hamburgers and onion rings being served both looked great. The onion rings looked real good tho.

Told them last time we'd come back and try to find something that wasn't good! No luck The French dip was the best we ever have eaten. Came with great home cut French fries as well. Really excellent Love this place Len

A great place to have lunch. Owner and or his staff of relatives always greets us with a smile. Staff is constantly checking on us to ensure needs are being met. Clean, enjoyable atmosphere with great food! The fresh made salsa is the best!

Really good Mexican food and the manager was very nice about adding the onions I wanted for my burrito. I'm from LA and eat a lot of Mexican food. This was definitely top tier and the manager makes it a very friendly vibe as well.

Great food! Friendly service. The Salsa was amazing. Freshly made! We also enjoyed the cheeseburgers. BUT the onion rings! I may just have a giant order of onions rings when I go back. My first time and I will go back! I recognized the owner as the amazing cook I've seen working in various places all over town for years and years. He is the real deal. So happy to see him with his own place. Eat local!

Fantastic service, amazing food! We loved everything we tried and we can't wait to go back! The environment is kind of old diner-ish, but the food more than makes up for that! We will come back again and again and recommend this place to our friends!

There isn't a sign on the street, but they have some banners among the road that say "Burgers" and "Tacos". The building has had several restaurant tenants, I think Park Ave moved in there from a smaller place across town. It's counter service, you order and pay, then they'll bring your food when it's ready. The staff are all friendly and attentive. I heard great things about their fries and onion rings, I chose the hand-cut fries to go with my burger. They were great. Next time I will try the hand-dipped onion rings. The double burger was very good. The patties are hand-made, too. Lettuce, tomato, and onion were included, and all on a sesame bun. Everything was delicious.

Nummy! The house burrito is the best and their pico de gallo is "muy bien rico!" The owner is kind and the dining room is always full at lunchtime on weekdays. Go and try it out for yourself!

Our weekly tour of Idaho Falls restaurants took us to Park Avenue Grill last week. We were excited to check this place out. It's very convenient to our home and had great reviews. I love Mexican and scoured all of the photos online trying to decide what I would order. I settled on the Carne Asada Burrito and pulled up to the restaurant with high hopes. Upon entering, the restaurant looked run down. But we held out hope that the food would be as delicious as the reviews said. I ordered my burrito, my husband chose a couple of street tacos with nachos, and our son got the burger with hand cut fries. We were given a number and selected a table. While waiting I couldn't help but notice the floors were filthy. They looked as if they had not been mopped, let alone swept for weeks. At this point my enthusiasm was waning. Our food showed up fairly quickly. It looked appetizing enough, but the Mexican dishes were severely lacking in flavor and the meat was dry and tough. The carne asada looked more like chopped beef...definitely not any semblance of steak. My son enjoyed his burger and shared his fries with me. They were good tasting but pretty limp. Overall, this place proved a huge disappointment. You'll want to make a different choice for flavorful Mexican food.

First of all we were greeted immediately with a very warm welcome. The man at the counter then made suggestions for what to try on the menu. We took his suggestion and tried the Chilaquiles verde burrito, It was delicious and large enough for my husband and I to split. We also ordered chips and salsa, the salsa was great and came with chunks of avocado. The chips came out fresh and hot and when I complemented the gentlemen he said "they are fresh to order every time". I wish every Mexican restaurant had such good chips and salsa! If we ever come back to Idaho Falls we will come again!

This place needs some more business! The quality of food here is excellent, I got the burrito and it was delicious! The others at my table got some burgers, and the onion rings are hand dipped and amazing! Price isn't too bad and the employees were very friendly and helpful! I'll be back for sure!

Very friendly and helpful employee greeted us and made a couple recommendations that proved to be just perfect. The burrito was superb - the sauce really made this dish pop. Onion rings were the best ever. I would have said 5 stars if the condiments and onion rings had been served with the burger. Didn't have to wait too long, but it would have made the difference for a 5 star rating. We will definitely recommend this place and return.

Excellent tacos and salsa. All the food was made after you ordered it, including the salsa. I've eaten my share of salsa and I have to tell you it's is the best salsa I've eaten.

Everything was amazing!!! The French dip was so good. Roberto, the owner, came out and talked with us. He was very nice.

Fantastic food and service! We had the jalapeno BBQ burger with fries. Fast, fresh and delicious. The waiter, Kevin, was so attentive.

Wow! Delicious food. I haven't had tacos this good since moving out of California. A must stop if you are driving thru Idaho Falls!

Not the fanciest place in town but the food is amazing. We shared the pork loin sandwich, a hamburger, fries, and onion rings. We can't decide which item we liked best. The pork loin is so tender and the bbq sauce is delicious. The burger was well seasoned and tasty. Fries are sooo good. The onion rings are big and dipped in a great batter. So glad we picked this place for lunch.

Food was fantastic. Had the Black and Blue Burger. Great combination of flavors. The fresh cut fries were awesome.

This food was extremely good. We got the brisket quesadilla which was amazing and the Chicken parmesan panini witch was also phenomenal 1000% recommend to anyone.
