Best bars and restaurants for live music in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"After more than 25 years in Buckhead, Park Bench relocated to Battery Atlanta in 2019 where it remains a popular spot to listen to local and national bands and dueling piano shows. Grab a pizza from the slice bar at Antico nearby, then order drinks at Park Bench and enjoy some music. Open until 2:30 a.m." - Beth McKibben

Where to Eat Near the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Cobb County | Eater Atlanta

"For late-night live music, head to Park Bench at the Battery Atlanta, which stays open late for local and national bands and dueling piano shows; I suggest grabbing a pizza from the slice bar at Antico nearby, then ordering drinks at Park Bench. Make sure to reserve a showtime — the venue stays open until 2:30 a.m." - Henna Bakshi

Google
Saturday night, place was empty but Battery was crazy busy. Place looked online to have food, they didn't. They did allow us to go and get some takeout. Plastic cups (goodness). Small pours (see pic of tiny shot cup of $40 tequila). Only one piano player (he was good). I'd say a hard pass unless you come with a large group that's already fed and liquored.

Google
Amazing spot at the Battery with an unbeatable vibe. The place was clean, safe, and full of energy. The dueling pianos were a blast — everyone singing, dancing, and having a great time together. Great music, friendly staff, and an all-around fun atmosphere. Perfect place to go with a group for a lively night out. Would definitely come back!

Google
I usually love dueling pianos, but I’ve been here multiple times and it’s never been good. The players have mediocre voices that you can’t hear over the noise. You can barely hear the pianos themselves. Why even have this setup, might as well be karaoke. The clientele is so wasted after other events that they latch on to any familiar song. Put some more effort into this and fix the acoustics and you’ll have a better return crowd.

Google
Park Bench is one of those spots that instantly feels like home—if home had better drinks, great music, and all your favorite people in one place. The vibe is always on point, whether you’re popping in for a casual drink or accidentally staying way longer than planned (every time). Great vibes, strong drinks, nonstop fun, and always the best crowd. The staff is amazing, the energy is unmatched, and its hands-down best place in the Battery.

Google
Super fun spot. Went out with friends and ended up staying way longer than planned. The music kept the energy up and everyone was in such a good mood. Easy place to relax, laugh, and just enjoy the night without overthinking it. Would definitely come back with the girls.

Google
Park Bench is an amazing venue for late night hang out after a Braves game to watch dueling pianos and also sing karaoke! This is also a fantastic venue if you're going to have a speaker event. They've hosted us on many occasions and are always so accomodating and help us deliver a great production! Love the guys at Park Bench!

Google
SPECIFICALLY FOR KAROKE NIGHT... This place is cool but if you aren't playing 2010s pop music you have no chance of your music being played. I put 6 songs in the bowl when it was empty and somehow my songs never made it on the board. Probably would not come back.

Google
This was my first dining at Park Bench Battery. We employer had a fundraiser event there. They had Southern charm food such as fried tomato sliders, potato wedges, string beans, etc. The drinks were beer, wine and the famous cyclone drink. Since I am not a drinker, I requested a virgin Daiquiri, the bar tender made me a seltzer drink with lemon and lime. It was quite refreshing.

Yelp
Another spot we stoped into after the game. Another dead spot, surprisingly, but again it was a Tuesday night. The bar had some live music, and the singer/guitar player sounded pretty good. The bar had a few beer options, as well as full bar service, and mixed drinks. It was an ok spot, maybe worth checking out on a busier night

Yelp
I love a good piano bar. I do feel like it is a common occurrence that piano bars don't service food, but I would just love some chips or an appetizer while I am enjoying the music. The night I went it was pretty empty, but the vibe was there. Because there wasn't a lot of people in there, the bar service was quick. I will likely go back if I am already in the area but I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it. It is pretty easy in here to get your songs played!

The ambiance was nice for a bar without a smoking atmosphere. The dual piano entertainment was lovely as well. As this was an event that was catered, I enjoyed the restaurant.

Yelp
Came here after a Braves game one day and had such a great time! The bartenders were quick with taking and fulfilling orders. There was a band performing when we arrived, and they performed covers of 90s songs that I love! Such a great party environment!

Yelp
Watch your itemized receipt here and cash out after every drink so they can't overcharge you. The receipts are just tickets with totals which is super suspicious in itself!

Yelp
Came here at the beginning of August 2021 when Atlanta Braves A-List members were invited to enjoy free food and entertainment at Park Bench Battery prior to a Braves home game. We had to RSVP quickly because slots for admittance to this event were very limited, and we made the cut. The Braves' organization sales reps were at the entrance of Park Bench to check off the A-List members' names on the admittance list, and we were given a couple of tickets for canned beers, which we both used at the bar staffed with many bartenders. Attendees ordering mixed drinks had to pay for their drinks. The main event area was kind of small for the amount of people admitted, and there weren't enough high top tables and high stools for everyone, so most of the people stood. After we went to the next room, which was a lot smaller than the main event room, we got into line for the catered food, which were build your own tacos with tortillas, cheese, salsa, and rice and beans. We walked back to the big main event room and I found some counter space at a column and two tall stools for us. Our food was very good. Our location was perfect, because we had a great view of the Dueling Pianos show that started soon after we started eating. The two guys, each playing grand pianos on the stage, took turns being the lead piano player/singer. They didn't have a set playlist, but, instead, took requests (with accompanying tips) from the A-Listers who wrote down titles of songs on pieces of paper and put them into a jar on one of the pianos. The live entertainment was fun and enjoyable, and some of attendees went to the open floorspace in front of the stage and danced during the danceable songs. The piano players/singers didn't have great voices, but they sure did a great job tickling the ivories! I noticed that they both had a little help from their electronic tablets for the lyrics that they sang (and possibly looking up sheet music?). Anyhow, they ended their set so that all of us attendees could leave to attend the game. Great event!

Yelp
Stopped in on Sunday, August 27th with friends for a quick drink because we knew they were closing in 45 minutes. Ordered 3 shots and a beer, the incredibly rude bartender, sits the shots at the edge of the bar while my back was turned. Once I turned around the shot spilled, and he grimaced. Seeing it was an accident, he said " I guess I will have to clean that up", after I was apologizing over and over again. I asked if I could possibly get a replacement, he gruffed, "sure, but I will have to charge you for it". I didn't argue, just politely said. No problem, I will pass. Being a bartender myself, I have made plenty of drinks that were accidentally spilled, so I thought he could have been more gracious. But I guess, he was ready to go since he had basically closed up his bar, even though he had 45 minutes left. They don't EVER have to worry about us going there again.

Yelp
A piano bar with the most awful sound I've ever heard in my life. The establishment looks nice. They don't serve food. I tried to upload a video of how awful the sound is, but Yelp won't let you. The drinks are EXTREMELY watered down and there is no imported beer

Yelp
I have been to this place many times over the last couple years and have thoroughly enjoyed coming here for a beer after numerous Braves games over the last two seasons, but unfortunately I came in tonight and I was charged $16 for a Miller lite, and didn't realize the charge until I got a notification from my bank. I talked to three different bartenders and they said they couldn't help me, including the guy that served me. The "manager" on duty tonight refused to give me a name and a number for someone to call in the morning and told me "look it up". I have recommended this place to multiple people but unfortunately I won't be coming back here, and won't be telling others to come. The total disinterest and disrespect for paying customers is really sad, especially from a place I've loved coming to after games the last few seasons.

Yelp
We had such a fun time on karaoke night! The bartenders are so friendly and go above and beyond. I really like the location too, it feels very safe. Drinks and music are awesome. We love coming to Park Bench

Yelp
The men who work here truly have a heart of gold. In a bar where you typically wouldn't have a note worthy experience, these guys went above and beyond for us to enjoy a fun Saturday night. Can't talk highly enough about the staff tonight!!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night and it was such a fun time! I love piano bars and this one did not disappoint. The performers were very energetic, interactive and fun. They are also quite talented and know all the classic piano bar songs that get the crowd going. Service there was great as well; someone would check on our table every 20-30min and all the staff was friendly. You can definitely tell this location is new and it might take them a bit to get established, but we will for sure be coming back more in the future!

Yelp
Music, drinks, service, atmosphere, everything was top notch. Gets a little crowded, but still was enough room for dancing

Yelp
After the Phillies/braves game my family came to this establishment to listen to dueling pianos. We came before the end of the game and stayed until the entertainment started. My 27 year old son crossed the stage to use the restroom with no problem and then my 22 year old daughter did the same. She was then restrained with both hands unprofessionally by a bouncer. Not cool. She was then told and pushed to walk through the over crowded unmasked crowd and told to go around a different way. What started out to be a very fun evening quickly turned bad. The bouncer should have NEVER put his hands in her. Very disappointing and it ended our night abruptly. After speaking to several "managers" we were quickly dismissed. What a sad night to a great family vacation in Atlanta. Very disappointed

Yelp
Place is awesome .Great food and unreal mucus and lots of beautiful people . Love it and the decor is steller

Yelp
Had a disturbing experience with friends. The management was unacceptable. If there was a zero star action, I can assure you, I would give ZERO stars. Words cannot describe the u professional behavior of the manager Jon
