Staff: The staff was working hard. There were around 20 people on the tote and they were some ice cream chuckin mofo. Building: The building is spacious and very well taken care of. Food: the ice cream was delicious. Seeing it come out of deep freeze was weird, but it was amazing. I had the blueberry cheesecake. Speed: for being busy, two dudes got shakes and coups out fast. Parking: Parking is on the street and can be hard to find. Star rating: 5 because of the price and dudes working the counter were getting ice cream out. I have no problem coming back here every chance I get. If this review helped, please hit the thumbs up and give me a follow.

Google
Awesome Ice cream spot; family friendly and friendly services. The location is opposite Basil (Thai restaurant) we stopped here for our dessert. The ice cream flavours are rich. They have different themed flavours and therefore gives you a reason to come back. The owner is professional and mingles with patrons freely and has great appreciation of all customers.

Google
Quick, easy, delicious!!! We tried the chocolate, double chocolate, birthday cake & mex vanilla all on a fresh waffle cone. $5 each which for the size was a good deal in my opinion especially for the quality. In the Park Circle area? Get some!

Google
Edit to add: this ice cream gave me SEVERE FOOD POISONING 12 hours after consuming it, which led to a severe dehydration and a trip to Urgent Care for an IV for fluids. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! I emailed the shop the day after I was sick and they still have not followed up/responded. Avoid this place!!!! Original post: It’s an insult to call this “ice cream.” No wonder they don’t do samples otherwise no one would actually buy it. The texture and taste are way off. The flavor is severely lacking, the Blueberry Cheesecake has a few frozen blueberries but not a hint of cheesecake. It was honestly gross. The atmosphere of this place is also severely lacking, it’s a super creepy feel inside with the weird minimal lighting and bareness. The dudes working look miserable and aren’t friendly. Worst ice cream shop I’ve ever been to. Trust the reviews and skip it.

We stopped by here tonight after my first experience in the area. We were greeted with a super nice employee who gave us the whole run down on all the flavors. The cones are delicious and made fresh everyday! The shop is super clean and reminds me of an old school ice cream parlor. We will be going again and this is a must have when visiting. Cash only so make sure to have some on hand!

Google
Went here on a Wednesday night. Convenient location. Staff was very friendly. All of the flavors were delicious. I had Cookie Monster, Cookies and Crème and a chocolate milkshake. All the flavors are creamy. My only feedback is they were out of cones and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Google
I met Mo during our trip to Myrtle Beach and we talked football and got to talking more and he told me about his creamery in Charleston, which conveniently happened to be our next stop. Homemade flavorful ice cream in a fun strip of Charleston and the service is top notch. Thankful to have met Mo on our trip!

Ordered the Cherry M&M and German chocolate cake. Both delicious! Best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever tasted😋

Yelp
Ice cream: creamy texture, not overly sweet, not a ton of fixings. Blueberry cheesecake and Honey Walnut: highly recommend! Lemon crunch was meh.

Adrian T.

Yelp
Great service, great flavors, poor ambiance. The ice cream expectations were surpassed. I have the blackberry cheesecake and lemon crunch, however, the atmosphere in the shop was awkward. For this having been established in 2016, the decor and presentation of flavors was that of a first year business.

Yelp
This was a very unassuming ice cream shop in a little old townish strip. We came towards closing so some flavors were out but we got to try lemon crunch and oatmeal cream pie flavors. The cashier was nice and efficient, scooped us our ice cream and we were on our way. The portions are very generous for the price and the ice cream was so flavorful and super creamy! Some of the best ice cream I've had.

Yelp
Park Circle creamery is one of the best things that ever happened to Park Circle. Even with their new location, you can't miss it. It's perfect for an after dinner pick me up. Their service is always nice and quick and the ice cream doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Their waffle cones are freshly made in-house and their flavors are like no other! Really make you want to get out of your comfort zone! Cute and friendly vibe and family friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
For the last year, after the park our favorite stop in Park Circle is Park Circle Creamery! The staff is super friendly at both locations. The owner is wonderful at accommodating everyone when it comes to allergies or diet restrictions which is awesome. It's so cute and family friendly. They make the most creative ice cream flavors that I've ever had, in-house waffle cones, and outdoor seating! Check them out!!

Yelp
I walked in and was taken back a little at how plan the place looked. There was only about 6 chairs but a lot of open space. Don't let that stop you from getting ice cream. As we approached the counter and requested our flavor of ice cream, we were told they were out. Updating the board in advance would've been nice. It's nothing like having your hopes up for something and then you can't get. We found another flavor and it was really good. The waffles are homemade and the young lady was very nice. No samples allowed and there's about 4-6 flavors daily. Get there early or thru may be down to 2. It's worth going to and I'll definitely be back again.

Yelp
I wasn't planning on ordering, but I'm so glad I changed my mind. Best key lime cheesecake ice cream I've ever had. (Seriously, they have little hunks of cheesecake hidden in there!) Mex Vanilla was appropriately refreshing. I had zero problems and lots of love for this place. The one guy working here -- howdy, Caleb! -- was kind and accommodating. Exemplary service for all 6 of us. Thank you!

Yelp
The ice cream at park circle creamery seems to be hit or miss for me. Sometimes it is stellar, but last time when we went the ice cream was very soft and grainy. The staff member even mentioned when I asked for a scoop of a flavor, "oh no, it's too soft." I just wonder why that is. They have lots of homemade flavors, however, as well as vegan and gluten free options! In terms of customer service, it's always great. The folks working are lovely and kind every time I've been which makes for a good experience. They always give you a pretzel with your ice cream and your cup has a "smiley" on it. I love those personalized touches. The waffle cones are also made in house! Another downside for me personally is seating. There is not really seating, so if you're getting ice cream here, it's best to get it to go or sit outside on a bench. I wish the environment was more accommodating to sit-in customers.

Yelp
Amazing fresh ice cream. Decided to stop here after dinner after reading a few reviews. I must say they didn't disappoint. The service and ice cream prompted me to write this review. I had zero intention. I was honestly blown away, the shop is slightly hard to find but the aroma of waffle cones permeate the area. I just knew from the pleasant smell I must have this! I didn't even take any pics. However I'll be back and will update my review with photos. I was immediately greeted by Cam and Tyler when I entered. Even with a line and assisting other patrons they still acknowledged our presence. Great customer service. I ordered a vanilla scoop on a waffle cone, the cone was made fresh so it was still warm. The ice cream tasted fresh as well no frost bite and a smooth and a rich decadent taste. They sold out of the dairy free ice cream which is made from oat milk, something I was looking forward to. Just gives me a reason to go back and I hope all the workers are as funny, engaging and pleasant as Cam and Tyler. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!

Yelp
Awesome spot to grab a sweet treat. It was very busy when we went, but the workers were very friendly. When you walk in you can smell the fresh cones. You can tell the ice cream is high quality. The inside is pretty small, but there are benches nearby if you're looking to sit down and eat your ice cream.

Jacqueline H.

Yelp
Great ice cream and usually great service. Friday visit service was weak. Server had ear buds in, didn't listen to order, charged us more than what was ordered and no waffle cones.
google avatar

Leeza S.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Park Circle for lunch or dinner, I swing by for a scoop or two. The flavors are always unique and tastes amazing. I've yet to have a negative experience here. The only thing I would like is to be able to see the ice cream and taste test them. But, as small business, I have no complaints.

Yelp
My experience at Park circle Ice cream was fast and friendly. I ordered the fruity pebbles ice cream in a cup and my boyfriend got the butter pecan and cookies and cream double scoop. The butter pecan tub was nearing the end, so the girl working there asked us if we wanted to take the last of it home! Heck yeah! Definitely recommend after dinner in the area!
google avatar

Ashton M.

Yelp
The guy working here was working HARD, by himself, and he was doing a great job. The ice cream itself was mediocre. My fruity pebbles tasted freezer-burned. I was not impressed.
google avatar

Patricia C.

Yelp
Amazing homemade ice cream! I really appreciate that they always have at least 1 vegan flavor on the menu! If you are in park circle & need an ice cream fix this is your place! The staff is also always so sweet!
google avatar

Gregg N.

Yelp
Checking in live on #smallbusinesssaturday Took the family by PCC for an ice cream break! I grabbed the Cookies & Cream, of course!!! The ice cream looked chocolaty. I took that to mean a well mixed Oreo with vanilla or a cream ice cream! The chunks of cookie could have been larger though. The ice cream was tasty! The waffle cone was light. It was strong enough just to hold the ice cream but brittle enough to get a good bite of it when eating the ice cream. Check them out!
google avatar

Chrissy F.

Yelp
Walked in and was impressed with the unique variety of flavors!! Seriously hardest part was narrowing a flavor down lmao I asked the gentlemen what's in "Cookie Monster" and he replied cookie dough and Oreos I'm like omgaga yäs! Those are my two favorites, it's like cookies and cream but with a fun blue hue and gobs of cookie dough. I'm a waffle cone gal and they make them in-house -- you can smell the sweet waffle cone scent as soon as ya walk in! If cone isn't your thing, they got cups and milkshake options. My Dad went with the butter pecan - he enjoyed that the ice cream wasn't overly sweet plus the one scoop portion size was perfect for him..not too much but just enough of a good, rich treat. I'm glad Park Circle has a local ice cream shop, nice way to cool down and walk around while enjoying the sights and sounds of the area.

Yelp
Amazing ice cream and a variety of flavors. Can't forget how friendly and knowledgeable the owner was. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Yelp states this has closed but it is open. It was closed temporarily while they moved down the street to a different location. I think the ice cream here, on it's own, deserves five stars. It's getting the ice cream that brings it down. The space is very limited inside, which is okay, but it's very awkward while waiting to order or waiting for your ice cream. The staff never seems to know what's going on. They ate never on the same page and don't have a good flow. On busy weekend evenings they usually have two younger people working and they are always so visibly stressed. Ice cream runs out quickly on busy nights and the board isn't updated, so after waiting to order is disappointing to hear that what you want is out. Or if you order and wait ten minutes for your cone, after the other two people in your party got theirs immediately, just to be told they don't have that flavor and they forgot to tell the person at the register. Then when you ask for a different flavor they forget you altogether... They need a better flow in how the ordering and executing goes. A third staff member would add a lot of help.

Yelp
The smell of the freshly made waffle cones pulled us in. This is a really fun place to grab some ice cream. Everyone there is upbeat and very friendly. It's hard to be in a bad mood when you come here. They interact with everybody like you're old friends. The only thing better than the people is the house made ice cream. Very smooth and flavorful. I wouldn't mine coming here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Park Circle Creamery has had some changes since I last visited, moving across the street and changing the menu. Notably, the thing they did where they dipped ice cream in warm chocolate to create a bar seems to have disappeared, which is a tragic loss. The ice cream flavors when I stopped in were probably not their best offering; it was ten or so choices but almost all of them were vanilla or chocolate with candy mixed in. Don't get me wrong, what I got was good, but I would have preferred more choices. The quality of ice cream is quite heavy and thick, and very filling.
google avatar

Sydney C.

Yelp
If you want cheap and delicious ice cream, this is the place to go! There isn't a huge selection of flavors, especially for the non-chocolate people. The non-chocolate options were pretty limited and odd--no vanilla and interesting flavors like lemon crunch--but they had quite a few variations of chocolate. I had a scoop of the chocolate s'mores, my mom had chocolate oreo, and my brother had death by chocolate. We all LOVED what we got. The ice cream was super soft and the waffle cones were freshly made. The waffle cone add on was only $1! The 4 stars instead of 5 is for the limited selection and the fact that the inside was definitely lacking in decor and seating.
google avatar

Kandace S.

Yelp
Park circle creamery was good. I've had better cookies & cream ice-cream but the birthday cake ice-cream was very good. The waffle cone was excellent & made the experience worth it. We visited the new one in goose creek/Summerville but it's not on yelp yet. We would go back and try some new things!

L O.

Yelp
Well this is the place for delicious, creamy ice cream! If you're lucky, Caleb will be working and will help you choose from their delicious offerings. When he said they had the best Butter Pecan ice cream, he wasn't exaggerating. Got one scoop in a cup and immediately dove right in. The ice cream is so smooth. It's a nice consistency and a generous serving size. Notice the full size pecan inside!! There were several sprinkled throughout my scoop. If you enjoy a high quality ice cream then you simply must try Park Circle Creamery!

Yelp
Love ice cream and the creamery was fantastic. The service was great we were greeted right from the beginning. I love the laid back family atmosphere. After selecting the flavor that I wanted, I got to watch them make the flavor. I had the option of one scoop or two; and which style cone. I chose cookies and cream and a waffle cone. My ice cream was absolutely delicious, so creamy and the price was top notch. I highly recommend you stop and enjoy a cone.

Yelp
First visit here with my son. He had received a free scoop from our awesome waiter at DIG not long ago and finally got the opportunity to stop in. For a five year old he's a pretty basic dude. All he wanted was a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Well, we get to the counter and bummer, no chocolate. Not to worry though, the ice cream guy quickly offered vanilla with a liberal amount of hot chocolate syrup on top. My son was completely happy to compromise and off we went. The shop is located right across the street from DIG so next time you're in Park Circle, stop and check it out. Flavors are completely rotational and are made in house. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Butter Pecan, chocolate and blueberry cheesecake ice cream- Delicious! The homemade waffle cone was delightful.
google avatar

Andrew J.

Yelp
Nice little local creamery. Daily flavor options and fresh made wafflecones as well. Plain and simple shop with no real frills, just a few stools inside if you want to eat inside. But, Montague Ave is a nice walk with benches outside if you want to have a stroll while you eat. Friendly staff that while busy when I was there were clearly doing the best they could with only 2 of them and a long line of customers.
google avatar

Mies F.

Yelp
Great ice cream and shakes! Butter pecan shake is delicious!
google avatar

Lori J.

Yelp
The flavor I wanted was melted so I had to get my second pick but everything was still good. So happy this place reopened as it was a big hit and I never got the chance to visit before

Yelp
Park circle is one of my most favorite places. When coming in from the industrial side, it feels like the street just appears, out of thin air. At night time this wonder makes it feel like a scene from the move Big Fish. So exploring my little piece of magic has become one of my favorite things to do and finding this little ice cream shop just added to the wonder. Popped in for the first time and was greeted by the kind staff. Just one man. Always just the one man. He was funny, kind, and so helpful. He made sure we knew it was cash only before we ordered. He told us his favorites when we asked and he even went so far as to make sure we weren't bothered by the homeless man who followed us in(we were told he often follows the customers in because he knew they would either have, or be getting cash and that he wasn't always kind when told no) I'm sure all the flavors are amazing, but lemon crunch is my favorite! We have been told that the flavors change and aren't always the same, so keep that in mind. In a nut shell- the prices are good. The staff is kind. The ice cream is absolutely delicious.

Yelp
Great service Cool flavors Great walkable neighborhood My family loves to park at a nearby playground then walk down for an awesome frozen treat.

Yelp
Hubby, FIL, and I stopped here today after having lunch. I've been here before with my kiddos but didn't have the ice cream. This time around, I couldn't resist. Lots of options today but I went with the Death by Chocolate (which is rich chocolate with chocolate chips), hubby had mint Oreo, and FIL had strawberry. Everything was delicious. It's a small, no frills shop. Definitely recommend stopping in here for a cone!

Cara S.

Yelp
After the frozen yogurt place was closed when it wasn't supposed to be we rushed to the creamery. Very nice and let us in even though they were closing in 5 minutes! Great spot:)

J C.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and friendly staff. Highly recommend the Lemon Crunch if it's available. Go here- you won't regret it!
google avatar

Yelp
Their waffle cones are delicious!!! We loved their ice cream and their professionalism
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place!!! I have been again and prior since this check in. Everyone is always so nice there. Taylen and Cameron exceeded my expectations with service last time I went in. They were awesome! You can always expect new flavors each time you go. The waffle cones are on point if you are in the mood for a cone. Treat yourself!
google avatar

Raj S.

Yelp
Definitely a 5 star! Simple flavors, perfectly done. Not too sweet, very creamy... soft yet crunchy, delicious waffle made freshly. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Yelp
A long time customer since this shops early days. We were visiting back in town this weekend and stopped in for our favorite ice cream. While the ice cream as always was amazing the customer service from the girl behind the counter was atrocious. My husband a veteran has a legal ADA service dog who was wearing his vest and open entering she gave a massive attitude that dogs were not aloud in the shop. I nicely said he is a legal service dog and can show his papers if she would like. She threw her hands up with an attitude and continued to be rude during the rest of the experience. I still left a tip because the boy and girl working behind her were nice. I don't know if she was having an off day but she proceeded to give attitude to the girls behind us as well so I don't think it was just us. Beyond disappointed especially being Mo is always welcoming and kind. Really put a sour taste in my mouth and a reluctancy to return again when we visit Charleston.
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Stopped in for some chocolate velvet ice cream and was once again satisfied beyond my expectations. The ladies running the store were on top of it and provided excellent service. This place is great, always a good scoop regardless of flavor.
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this place! Their ice cream is out of this world tasty! I don't get in here often enough but I literally won't get ice cream anywhere else. Everyday they have a large array of flavors. My favorite is the coconut. Absolutely love that they're always churning out seasonal flavors as well. They also make homemade waffle cones right in front of your eyes and add a delicious pretzel stick to ice cream that comes in a cup. Can't forget the awesome staff either! The owner, Maurice, is the nicest human being! He always has a huge smile on his face and enjoys a nice chat with you even when they're super busy. If you want ice cream, this is the place to get it!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
This place is so simple, it's perfect. There aren't a million flavors and toppings to choose from, only a handful. Cone or cup? what kind of cone? just waffle, that they make there, fresh, right in front of you. With so many decisions we need to make in life, why do we need to make a million more about something that is supposed to be sweet and satisfying?! I love this place, the simplicity, the customer service and the location, which is right in the mix of downtown. You can get a cone and walk around enjoying it.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
Super cute ice cream shop. We stopped here for some ice cream after dinner. We expected your typical ice cream shop with 'good' ice cream but boy were our expectations exceeded!! We ordered the cookies & cream, death by chocolate, and vanilla caramel praline. We all thought it was the best ice cream we've ever tasted! Come to find out one of the gentlemen, I presume one of the owners, makes the ice cream himself! It is evident he takes great pride in his craft! They have several flavors to choose from on their menu. If you are looking for DELICIOUS ice cream from a cute, clean shop with very friendly service....then I HIGHLY recommend them!
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
Stopped by to try because of the rav reviews I've gotten. This is homemade ice cream at its best. Great original favors. I'm told that they'll soon pair homemade desserts with the homemade ice cream. Cant wait to try the new offerings!
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Super cute little place with a great selection of flavors! I can't wait to go back. They recently moved locations, but are just right up the street, and perfectly located for an after dinner treat in Park Circle.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
We went looking for this place last weekend and couldn't find it. It you're closed down please let the public know!! I had to give one star in order to post
google avatar

Jo L.

Yelp
You can smell the waffle cones half way down the block. I wasn't planning to get ice cream but I saw many groups of people walking around with it. I asked a lady in a clothing store whether I should try it and she said I had to. Glad I did. The brother-sister pair that welcomed me were really nice. They welcomed and made conversation with everyone. They don't give samples but if you really don't like what you order, they will give you something else. Everything is made in-house. Butter Pecan is not a flavor I usually pick but heard the couple in front of me say they are also not huge fans of butter pecan but really liked the one here. I tried it. I approve! I would get it again.
google avatar

Shelby B.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and awesome service! Mom and pop places like this are what make downtowns great, and North Charleston could definitely use more unique shops such as this one. Prices are a little more than they are at run of the mill places, but it is worth it for the extra quality and service. I couldn't give 5 stars because they could definitely use more (and more comfortable) seating inside, and the cash only option is rough.
google avatar

Latasha B.

Yelp
This is literally the best ice cream I have had! I have heard many great things about this place, so I had to give it a try. I don't know what took so long. We stopped in on a Saturday evening, and from what I can tell everyone else was in the mood for ice cream too. We decided to treat my nephew for some ice cream, and I wanted to try this place. It was a win for all of us. He loves ice cream...like its his favorite thing ever...besides a chocolate chip cookie. So he chose cookies and cream of course as did my husband. They both loved the it, and my nephew proclaimed it as his favorite of all time. (Good title to have). I had the Butter Pecan and it was creamy goodness with little bits of pecan throughout. They loved it so much they both went and ordered another scoop to take with them! I was speechless. Speaks volumes of the flavor and goodness going on over here. Maurice knows what to do with some cream. Very impressed.

Yelp
Great holiday flavors! Two scoops is seriously an undertaking (but who doesn't love leftover ice cream if it makes it home). The peppermint jojo is just perfection and the gingerbread is spiced perfectly!
