The Arch London

"This 82-room sleeper hit in Marylebone occupies seven Georgian town houses and two mews houses. Although the rooms are slightly small and look out only over rooftops or the street, they are well conceived, with luscious furnishings in various color schemes. For instance: thick sage-colored silk curtains, a suede headboard, purple patterned cushions, and a polka-dot blanket. Some bathrooms have rain showers with gold mosaic floors, and fragrant Malin+Goetz products. Guests will appreciate underrated and oft-omitted in-room details like instant free Wi-Fi and a U.S.-format electrical outlet. An attractive bar-restaurant, with leather and velvet seating, shows off an open kitchen producing modern bistro fare such as chicken liver parfait and Thai beef salad, and memorable breakfasts such as the portobello mushrooms and poached egg on sourdough. Contemporary art is prominent, from a looped video above the reception desk to the London landscapes by draftsman Marcus James in the library, where one can take afternoon tea by a fireplace. The cheerful, efficient service is a highlight."

My husband and I had wonderful 2 night stay here. From the moment we checked in the service was friendly and professional - really exceptional customer service from all the staff. The room was perfect, a large comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with large tub and a good shower, lots of refreshments set up, and great temperature control. Very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. I highly recommend this hotel for any stay in London as the location is an excellent central base whether in town on business or leisure.

One night business trip in June 2025. Fantastic rate booked through a comparison site and what a very pleasant surprise.||The check in team were friendly, smiling and really helpful with my room being ready two hours early, making check in a pleasant experience.||The hotel is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout and the rooms are well appointed with everything needed for a stay. Complimentary water and a fruit bowl were a nice touch.||Breakfast was excellent from the choices available, quality ingredients and cooking and helpful staff.||I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again.

A beautiful old school London hotel with a modern feel. The location is amazing. ( 5 min walk from oxford street, Hyde park, marble arch and 10 minutes from Soho. The team at the park grand were absolutely amazing. Couldn't do enough for us. January and the team were friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Honestly could not fault this hotel in the slightest. Clean rooms, comfy bed, amazing breakfast options. Not much else to say apart from thank you for a great experience.

Great location just off Marble Arch. The staff are amazing and in particular Daniel on reception. |The website we booked through said 5 star ⭐. It isn't sorry. When we asked they said their 5 star sister hotel is over the road. Be aware that you may experience the same as many people we met were in the same position. |Rooms were clean and compact not like the one's that they show. Breakfast was very disappointing, not much choice and very small dining room. Everyday was the same and service was slow. |Again the staff are brilliant and very welcoming.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Excellent staff, great breakfast, and a lovely room for the 3 of us. They couldn’t do enough for us from start to finish. January Stevens and all the staff were so helpful. They made my mums 80th birthday so special. Excellent location and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay started with a very warm welcome from the lovely 'January'. After a long journey we were very grateful for the complimentary teas and coffees whilst our rooms were readied. The bedroom itself was well equipped and the bed was comfortable and the shower good and hot. All the staff we met were very courteous and helpful - we will definitely stay here again.

Good location, reasonable sized room and comfortable bed. However, I was very disappointed to find that none of the power sockets in our room worked (we checked all 5 of them with multiple plugs), but more than that, when I raised this I was told it would be looked into and it wasn't. For a five star hotel that is not acceptable in my opinion.

The staff were polite but the room was very tired and shabby. It was advertised as a 5* but I’d say it’s no more than a 2/3. My room was downstairs in the basement with pretty much no natural light. Was kept up most of the night by noisy people in the adjacent rooms. Good location but otherwise avoid.
