"If you’re looking for a chic lodging with personality to spare, Park Hotel is it. Designed under the concept of ART—atrium, restaurant, travel—it occupies 10 levels of the triangular Shiodome Media Tower and pays homage to Japan’s natural beauty with a glass-enclosed courtyard (purported to be the largest hotel atrium in Tokyo ) and trees and greenery dotting the spaces between the building’s 25th and 34th floors. An artist-in-residence program ensures that every room on the 31 st floor features unique murals and paintings by local creatives, while more conventional rooms come in light, neutral tones, but all are furnished with stylish pieces by B&B Italia. The hotel also houses a wood-paneled spa, an art gallery, and a kaiseki-style Japanese restaurant and casual French bistro where the dishes are pieces of art in and of themselves."

We stayed for 6 nights in May and had a fantastic experience. The staff were helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel offered great amenities, including 4 washing machines and dryers, and an ice dispenser which came in handy. Our room had an amazing view of both Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji – truly breathtaking! Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety, and the evening food was delicious. While the cocktails were on the pricier side, we used local stores.to buy our own alcohol for the room. The location was excellent, with great restaurants and attractions nearby. We would definitely stay here again!"

The Ginza location is perfect. The hotel connects to Shiodome station and is close to other stations which made transportation great. It's also close to lots of shopping, delicious food, a Kabuki theater and Tsukiji fish market.||There's even a Family Mart in the same building on a different floor, which is a great option for breakfast or snacks. ||The Art Rooms are worth it, our room Beauty of Akita was amazing! It was beautiful, had closet space, a city view, included an argan oil skin care routine, great bathroom amenities, air purifier in room, robes and slippers. We slept perfectly too! The rooms are a good size, slightly small.||The hotel and rooms were very clean. The hotel is very stylish and beautiful too. We enjoyed observing the art around the lobby and our floor. There was fresh water available daily and teas along with a coffee machine. If you follow instructions from the hotel email on booking, you get free welcome drinks.||The staff was helpful providing umbrellas for the rainy days, holding mail at desk and offering to hold luggage. They left swan towels and a note for our anniversary.||We didn't try the breakfast due to high cost or tea service due to limited time unfortunately.||This hotel was a good value and we would recommend it!

I stayed in this hotel in 2023 and gave it three stars. Decided to come back with my wife for our honeymoon and wow what a different experience this time. I'm not sure if it was just the room they put us in this time or if the hotel updated all their rooms, but unlike in 2023 the room felt modern with new amenities and the layout of the room was extremely logical. Compared to last time it was also super clean. I also can't stress enough how convenient this hotel is - it's in between Shiodome and Shimbashi stations which gives you access to many of the major subway lines. It's also super close to both Haneda Airport and Tokyo Station.Plenty of dining options nearby and there is a Family Mart in the building with direct elevator access. Service was top notch. Definitely my go-to hotel in Tokyo.

Being the first time visiting Japan, I had high expectations, and this hotel exceeded them. First located on the top floors of a high tower building, you are immediately presented with amazing views of Tokyo (and Tokyo tower) in the lobby. The staff was super friendly and very helpful at any times. The room, was located on the northwest side, had an amazing view of the city. All the expected amenities and good quality products, a clean and comfortable room. The location is excellent, from the lobby there is direct basement access to the nearby metro stations (very helpful in case it is raining) and even a convenience store is located there. Nearby also some good traditional restaurants. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and, if I visit Tokyo again, I will stay here again for sure.

Our last 2 days in Japan spent at this hotel.|Room was more than adequate for travelers with lots of suitcases.|Premises were close to train station, the Sudima River, Tokyo Sky Tower and restaurants abound just out the door.|The Senjo-ji Temple is right across the road and a must see.|We paid to have breakfast at the hotel and it was great value. Provided a good start to a day sight seeing.|Views from the reception and restaurant are amazing. One nice feature is a guest only cocktail bar on roof which was peaceful and relaxing|Staff were efficient, courteous and helpful.

Google
This was my first time visiting Tokyo with my wife from New York, and after reading many positive reviews about Park Hotel, I am happy to say it did not disappoint. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, the building is modern, and the staff were consistently courteous. The room was a comfortable size by Tokyo standards, very clean, and offered stunning views, as the hotel begins on the 25th floor of the building. We especially appreciated the fresh complimentary coffee available in the lounge area. Since we were unfamiliar with the area, we relied heavily on the concierge's advice. Lorenzo P., in particular, stood out—his recommendations were incredibly helpful. He was knowledgeable, kind, and detail-oriented, helping us thoughtfully plan our day. Employees like him truly embody the welcoming and professional spirit of Park Hotel—thank you! Everyone we encountered, from the front desk to the operators, was warm and made us feel at home. As someone who travels often and has experienced a fair share of disappointing hotels, Park Hotel was a wonderful surprise. It was an excellent experience overall, and I look forward to returning with family and friends.

Google
This is a fantastic hotel. The staff is very accommodating, and the rooms/amenities were perfect. We stayed at other hotels during our time in Tokyo, and this was by far the best experience. The view from the room was incredible, and the blackout curtains made for an excellent sleeping experience any time during the day/night. The rooms were very clean and had plenty of lounge space. The view and loung area in the lobby is peaceful and a great place to unwind after a long day or when starting your morning. The food is also worth giving a try. Not to mention, the hotel is a full-on art museum, which enhances the ambiance. It's conveniently attached to a train station and has taxis ready to go at the entrance. We will be staying here again for sure.

Google
First time family holiday to Japan and this was our first stop. Hotel was somewhat difficult to find coming from Shimbashi JR station laden with baggage - there’s lots of different levels with multiple escalators and no signage. I’d picked this hotel based on the views and location and both were superb; we were able to see Mount Fuji from reception on our first morning and I loved watching the trains passing through Shimbashi. Location felt very safe and was easy to move around the city using Shimbashi or Shiodome stations. The adjacent Hamarikyu Gardens is a lovely spot for a stroll and there is a Family Mart and Tullys coffee shop close by. Really enjoyed the artwork in the hotel which gave a very unique feel and the restaurant and breakfast are very good. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. The rooms we had were compact and felt a bit dated, especially the bathrooms but were clean, practical and a decent size by Tokyo standards. Very easy to recommend the Park Hotel as a base for exploring Tokyo.

Yelp
This was a fantastic (if not cheap) hotel for our family when we first got to Tokyo. It had great views of the skyline, comfortable rooms and a great location to explore. When our family decided to spend a few days in Tokyo, I wasn't really sure what we wanted in terms of a hotel. I settled on western rooms with a good location and I really wanted views of the Skyline. This delivered on all counts. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The biggest complaint was that they didn't have any adjoining rooms or rooms with enough space for a family of four, so we got two rooms on the same floor, but different sides. Otherwise, we had stunning views of the Tokyo skyline including the Skytree and Tokyo Tower. We did have to pay extra for that, but that was fine. The views of the trains going by out the window and Tokyo neon lights at night were fantastic. The actual hotel also doubled as an art exhibition, which was a nice way to walk through the lobby and hallways. In terms of location, it was easy to get everywhere on the Metro from the Simbashi station and explore pretty much anything you wanted to. You could even walk to Tokyo station and/or the Imperial Palace with a bit of effort.

Yelp
Probably the most important aspects of this review are the ones that detail checking into this monster of a building. Truth be told, it's not that big, just confusing AF if you don't know what you're walking into. Okay, if you're trying to find the lobby in the early evening like we were, you'll be shocked when you walk into a dead and quiet "lobby" with nobody in it. There is some furniture but it's all void of bodies and there is nothing open. Why? Because the hotel lobby is on the 25th floor. Make your way up the discret elevators and it should be smooth sailing for the rest of your voyage. We were upgraded to an artist room when checking in and we ended up loving our room, tastefully painted with geishas and koi fish. The view was spectacular and the upgraded room included "breakfast." Don't get too excited as the included breakfast was nothing more than coffee, toast, and juice. The real breakfast buffet (we didn't indulge) is on the 25th floor. My biggest gripe about this hotel is the location. While in a good part of the city, it's pretty far removed from your first taste of a cold beer or a bowl of ramen. Expect a 10 minute walk to get into a lively neighborhood, which was about 9 minutes too far for me.

Yelp
Stayed here a couple of times and really liked it here. Upon arrival, I was greeted by warm welcome by the front desk staff. They wondered about two large backpacks I was carrying on my back and front, wanted to chit chat. I arrived early but since my room was ready, they processed my check in. Single room is very small. Queen size room is still small but nicely appointed with room wear, nice slippers, bathroom amenities. I really liked the scent of soap, I washed my wash cloth with their body soap. Every time I used my towel, it smelled good. If you reserve a room with the Tokyo tower, it is so romantic from your room at night. I had a room with a view of the river side, morning sunrise was nice. Lobby provides nice view of Tokyo Tower. On a clear day, they said they can see a glimpse of Mt Fuji. It would have been so amazing to see both at the same time. Perfect location. Walking distance to Tsukiji market should you want to go there at 3am before subway starts running at 5am. Above Shiodome Oedo metro line and next to Yurikamome station. A few minutes walk to Shimbashi for access to JR line, Ginza line and Asakusa line. I often stay at Royal Park Shiodome but when price is right, I would stay here again.

Yelp
I stayed here on my trip to Tokyo for my honeymoon and was pampered by the service with a great city view. What I love about this location is that it is directly above a subway station and you can access it by going down to the B1 elevator. There is also a Family Mart right outside that area. You are 16 minutes walk from Ginza shopping district, and everywhere else you want to go is a subway or taxi away. The room had enough space for two large luggages, the bed was easy to sleep in, and there's ample amenities like laundry and fitness. My only gripe about the place is that the air vent in the restroom was not strong enough and that there was always a sewer smell in my room.

Yelp
Park Hotel Tokyo: The first thing you should probably know is that this is not the posh Park Hyatt Hotel which was made famous by Bill Murray in "Lost in Translation". That's in the bustling Shinjuku area and is approximately five times more expensive than this hotel. If you're someone who thinks nothing of the price differential, then maybe you should pull up a chair so you could put a ring on it. Otherwise, the Park Hotel is a smart, gorgeous accommodation in the Shiodome Media Tower occupying the 25th through 34th floors (photo: http://bit.ly/1YKKetP). Jamie W. and I spent five nights here, and we thought it was a terrific deal for the bargain rate of $145 per night, tax included. First of all, the location is aces especially for a first-time visitor like Jamie since it took us only ten minutes to walk to Tsukiji Market at an ungodly hour and only fifteen minutes to get to the heart of the Ginza at any time. Just a quick stroll on an elevated walkway with the oddball Hayao Miyazaki steam-punk clock along the way (photo: http://bit.ly/1mfKn7x), the Shimbashi station is a major hub for many of the key train and subway lines including the all-important JR Yamamote line with Tokyo station just two stops away. Second, the room, while smallish, was not lacking for amenities including a most titillating toilet that hummed along with my euphoria. It also afforded a spectacular view that included Tokyo Tower brightly lit at night (photo: http://bit.ly/1NN0GRK). Third, the service here was impeccable with everyone able to speak English with amazing clarity. Most impressive was the concierge, a young woman who was raised in Sri Lanka, schooled in Canada and spoke English better than me. You won't get lost in translation here. She provided clear directions to anywhere in the city with ease and accommodated my last-minute requests for reservations at Kyubei Sushi and the Robot Restaurant. She rocked. Fourth, the hotel offers a convenient limousine bus back and forth from Narita Airport for just ¥3,100. Our vacation in Tokyo was made all the more pleasurable by the Park.

Yelp
Park Hotel in Tokyo has excellent service and facilities. Located right near Shimbashi station, you're within close proximity to shopping, dining, and a variety of other activities. If you happen to be fortune (and willing to spend a bit more) you're able to stay in one of the artist rooms - unique rooms that have been designed by an individual artist to look like various scenes or locations in Japan. The room we're staying in at the moment is decorated to feature the festivals of japan - while another shows the famous bamboo forests! Breakfast is unfortunately not included in your reservation and is an additional $28 USD approximately - a bit pricy even for the best of breakfast meals! The hotel really is quite beautiful and a lovely place to stay! I'll be calling this place home for the next few days before Kyoto!

Yelp
Probably one of the hotels that was a definite highlight of our trip/"honeymoon". Hubby and I had been planning a trip to Japan for years. Like, probably more than a decade. While I planned out the general tourist-y stuff, he would take care of the hotel reservations. Hubby did good on this one. :) There was a bit of a mishap on the day that we were supposed to arrive to Park Hotel. I had lost one of my bags on the local train and spent a couple hours with the language barrier to try and see what could be done. Unfortunately, not too much at the time. What was very nice is that despite the setback with the lost bag, we were able to get onto a prompt JR train to get to the stop that was very close to Park Hotel. Took the elevator all the way up to the lobby, and checked in without any problems. Staff was top-notch, superb, excellent. They made sure that no one was waiting too long in line to check-in/check-out, and if we had any questions, they were able to answer as well as they could. They helped TREMENDOUSLY in trying to help me with my lost bag. They called the JR station's Lost and Found, tried to figure out the best options, and even called our hotel room the following morning to let us know of any updates. I am extremely grateful for the time and care that they had with us. As a wonderful bonus, they even emailed us after we were on our flight to let us know that the JR station's Lost and Found contacted them to let them know that the lost bag was found, and the process to get the lost bag. We had to jump a few hoops, but we were finally able to find a proxy to send the lost bag to us, and everything was in it. I WAS SO HAPPY. And I really would not have been able to have gotten it back without the amount of help that the staff gave. Much love! The actual hotel room was definitely one of the best rooms we had, and it likely was because of the spectacular view of Tokyo Tower. Yes, it was a little pricier than our normal budget could handle, but it was very worth it. So pretty at night! The room itself was very clean, and it was a good-size room. Definitely not a capsule hotel. Bathroom had nice toiletries, and the water had a good amount of pressure, which was surprising to me because of how far up we were from the ground. Japan is amazing... Fridge had drinks that could be purchased (charged to the room after you left). Otherwise, the hot water for coffee/tea allowed us to brew some very good coffee/tea. Food-wise, there was a sort of food court mall downstairs. Otherwise, the only other food options would be the convenience store (also downstairs) or going onto the train and getting off at a different station. The convenience of the hotel to the train station (and, ultimately, the airport) was a positive point, as well as the wonderful view, and the excellent staff. I would love to come back!

Yelp
This is my new favorite hotel in Tokyo for a number of reasons. The rooms are big (by Japanese standards), front desk is friendly and helpful, neighborhood is nice from quiet to wild, subway and JR access is excellent (once I figured out the underground passage way - above ground is terrible), artwork okay, view of Tokyo tower (a little overrated). Getting to the hotel from Haneda (monorail) or Narita (Keisei Skyliner to Nippori then JR to Shimbashi, walk underground passing the Toei-Asakusa "A" line and the Toei-Oedo "E" Line) is easy enough. Don't try above ground! GPS is not accurate enough between the high-rise buildings.

Yelp
Stayed here for the majority of my trip to Japan. It's located in the heart of Tokyo near the Ginza district and Shimbashi/Shiodome station. So it's not a long walk to public transportation. Tokyo is a huge city and there are plenty of hotels to stay at, but I must say this one worked out rather well for me. First it's on the 25th floor in a business building. So no matter what, you're getting a view. Upon arrival we were greeted and treated like royalty. Almost everyone in Japan takes pride in their jobs and you're going to get top quality service in almost anything. While we were here they helped us with a bunch of things. They gave us medication, helped us with the lock when I screwed up, and plenty of other things as well. They also display a lot of art here. A lot which is pretty cool. The entire establishment is top notch. The biggest drawback was that our room was kinda small. Last time I was year I stayed in the New Otani Hotel, and the room was pretty moveable. Still, we were barely in our room, so no big deal. Plus the bed was comfortable beyond measure and had a view. The entire time here was perfect and I really have no complaints. Plus, the shampoo here had a really awesome smell. If you're in Tokyo, I'd give this place a shot. It's really a great location and hotel.

Yelp
We recently spent a week at the Park Hotel in Tokyo. Overall, we were very impressed with the location and service, but found the room a bit lacking. + Excellent location. Shimbashi station (train and shopping) at the basement level. Walking distance to Tsujiki Market, Hamarikyu Gardens, Don Quiote discount shop (VERY important!), etc. + Beautiful lobby. + Excellent service. + Shuttle (Airport Limo Bus) to Haneda and Narita. Same price as taking the train. Totally worth it - unless you like hauling your family and bags through the rush hour crowds on the train. Reservations required. + Lots of in room amenities (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, hair brush, toothbrush, tooth paste, hair brush, razor, shaving gel, loofah, shower cap, coffee, tea, etc.) refilled daily. You'd be hard pressed to find as many niceties at the average American hotel. + Good price. $169/night + Awesome views. Hotel starts on the 25th floor, so the views are awesome. Some rooms a view of the Tokyo Tower. - Small rooms (by American standards). By Tokyo standards, however, the room was average sized. In fact, we've stayed in much smaller quarters on previous trips to Japan. - Beds were very uncomfortable :-( - Pillows were also uncomfortable :-( I don't like sleeping on sacks of granola (sorry, I mean buckwheat). I prefer fluffy, artificial filler. - Breakfast not included. 3.5 stars, but will round up to 4 stars for the awesome service and convenient location. However, on my next trip, I'll pay extra for a more comfortable bed.

Yelp
Park Hotel is no hidden gem of good service, impecable design and facilities; it's a bright shining star! We had a week long stay here recently and - having had stayed in Tokyo before - I was shocked at find such an outstanding equilibrium between price and quality. We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking Tokyo tower (costs extra but is worth every penny); the view was simply breathtaking. From the 29th floor, you could literally spend a week just looking around at the scenery, both during night and day. The breakfast was truly amazing, although we did not use it every day. As were the other facilities. The gym is very small (2 persons max) and needs to be booked in advance. You can only book once in advance (so not for a whole week ahead. What was also very usefull was that they have a concierge desk that has a good understanding of English and can help you with any kind of request (from finding a pool to swim, making reservations at restaurants, to renting a bike to buying tickets for an underground techno party). They are very friendly. The thing that will stay with me the most however is the very friendly staff and the amazing, magnificent view. This was one hefty bill that I didn't mind paying. If I ever get back, I will surely stay here again!

Yelp
Park Hotel Tokyo is super fun. Get an art room and enjoy how it is appointed and read about the artist who redid the room. The front desk and concierge are all great. The concierge booked some restaurants for us to eat and gave us some great printouts on how to find the places. The hotel can offer some nice views of Tokyo Tower if you're lucky enough to get that view. It's quite close to the station, but it's somewhat hard to get to unless you know the system of tunnels and cat walks...so get some exact directions if you're coming from the JR.

Yelp
We had the best view of the Tokyo Tower from our room 3408. We were at the very top floor and I'm assuming this is where a lot of the family travelers are placed (I'm only saying this because I saw many other families up here). This is fine by us because then we don't have to worry too much about disturbing people who are here on business. Kids can get rowdy. We love the location of our hotel. Within walking distance we were able to find hipster coffee (mori tower in toranamon had a cute cafe), a mocha specialty store to buy gifts for home (and there are many others all over, but this was on our walk out to the more tower, which we can see from our room). We also walked to Fukki ramen, which has no english menu but you make do. And, the hotel is located on top of the Shiodome and Shimbashi train stations so you can find McDonald's (we usually do not like to eat American food while traveling but our three year old does and forced us to eat a meal there and actually, it tastes better than back home! The toys are more interesting and you can get a side of 5 pcs chicken nuggets instead of fries. What? And they have melon fanta), and if you keep going past McDonald's which is on the outside, you will find so many other interesting eateries like DIN TAI FUNG which was not full on a Sunday during dinner time. I never saw a DTF that empty before with no wait. If I had seen this before we committed to McDonald's I'm sure I could've swayed our little one. Walking past DTF, there is a steak place with lots of meat dishes (I love all the fake food out front that shows you what each place serves) and there is an onigiri omusubi place right there next to a deli. We grabbed a few onigiri before heading out to disney sea. Also, Tsukiji Market is walking distance from here so we got a good walk in before eating there (try the kitsuneya gyudon beef bowl place - you won't miss it because there is a huge line) and miyazaki's steampunk clock is literally around the corner from the hotel and you can see it walking towards the Tsukiji Fish Market. The hotel itself has a foreign exchange machine in the lobby and there is no extra fee to change (I Paid $10 to change in San Diego Airport and LAX was the same) and the rate was even better than the U.S., or at other foreign exchange places in Japan. There is a coin operated laundry on the 25th floor and they have breakfast buffets that we never ate because it was a bit too expensive for us. The rooms were not as small as I had imagined. They reminded me of the standard boutique hotel in the U.S. It comes equipped with a mini fridge - we had to be creative in how we stuffed our perishables in there with all the beverages in there already (extra). The TV was big enough and we were able to finish watching the olympics here. We loved being able to bring food back into our room and eat while looking out at the Tokyo Skyline. Would stay here again.

Yelp
Such a lovely hotel! I stayed in an artist room, and really enjoyed the creative touches. Right near NipponTV, Shinbashi Station and Tokyo Station. Close enough a walk to some lovely restaurants and side streets with maid cafes and bars. I spent my first few nights in Tokyo here and felt so fortunate to have a lovely homebase. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially since they were some of the first folks for me to try my crusty Japanese on. Breakfast for the folks in artist suites was so nice. I met a lovely older couple who came to Tokyo every year, who gave me some great suggestions for places to see amazing art and really enjoy the city. I hope I get to stay here again someday! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Beautiful! We opted to stay in one of the artist rooms, and we went to sleep surrounded by gazing geisha and peaceful goldfish and koi. Impeccable service with a prompt and extremely patient concierge. They had an answer to every question, and they never hesitated to pick up the phone and call when they were unsure. They went so far as to call Don Quixote to ask them which Kit Kat flavors they carried so that we could optimize our shopping time. There is also a convenient shuttle to both Haneda and Narita airports with timely pick-up, and the location, though touristy, is a lovely and safe neighborhood. I'm sure this isn't the only beautiful hotel with wonderful service in Tokyo. But this one has real character. The artist rooms make the experience very unique, and the staff seem to work extra hard to ensure your satisfaction. I plan to return to Tokyo many times, and I honestly don't feel the need to ever stay anywhere else, especially if they keep the artist rooms.

Yelp
Stayed for the first time for business trip. I really enjoyed the stay there. I wanted to stay in a hotel connected to subway stations since it is Rainey season in Japan. This hotel is on top of Shiodome station and the lobby is at 25th floor. I was greeted by a friendly bell person and front desk and quickly assigned a room. And prompt service is always welcomed for someone who travels about 10 hours from home. The room Is perfect with great metropolitan Tokyo view. Stayed there for 3 nights and front desk is always so helpful With my questions and making copies and even they accommodate me with my massager between my meetings even I only had one hour. There is a small but wonderful spa on 26th floor. I had 45 minutes massage and it was the best 45 minutes and it was the best massage for this year! There are also arts displayed all over the hotel and Thai is another great reason to stay here as if you are staying at art museum. Perfect location and wonderful staffs and I will definitely come Back.

Yelp
We had the best time staying in the Tokyo and the accommodation of this hotel was exquisite. Also, they are in the midde of everything in this area and their basement has a lot of good restaurants, shops and train station. They also provide you with a bus that takes you directly to the airport; for a fee. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Yelp
(Español más abajo) It's an amazing hotel, the reception is at 25th level and rooms are above, so it has magnificent views of Tokyo skyline. Rooms are really comfortable and they even have a floor with unique rooms designed by different artists (at higher costs, of course). It is really well located near shiodome and shimbashi stations and you can go by walking to ginza, luxury shop neighbourhood.

Yelp
Wonderful service and good location. Park Hotel Tokyo was the last hotel/stay on my recent Japan trip. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes away from Tokyo Station depending on traffic. LOCATION: Occupies the top floors of an office building near Shiodome City Center (not to be confused with the ROYAL Park Hotel in an adjacent building). There are separate elevator banks for hotel guests, where one of the three elevators can also access the B2 and B4 basement levels. TIP: Exiting the elevator at level 3 allows guests access to a bridge that connects the hotel to neighboring Shiodome Station, the Royal Park Hotel Tokyo, and street level as well. If choosing B2 level, guests can access Shinbashi Station and Shiodome City Center via the underground connecting passageway. The check-in process was very efficient as multiple staff extended greetings and directed us to the check-in desk. Room AMENITIES included: *Flatscreen television *Coffee maker *Small refrigerator *Cozy sitting area with small sofa, table, and chair *Comfortable beds Hotel AMENITIES: *Cozy bar on the lobby level. *Helpful concierge who assisted us in obtaining directions as well as restaurant reservations during our stay. *Front desk able to change Japanese currency into smaller bills. *Buffet on lobby level starting from 700am featuring Japanese and Western breakfast choices. *Taxi service available from 7am till 10pm on street level. We stayed for five nights and appreciated the impeccable service from all the staff we encountered. Everyone from the front desk staff, concierge, to housekeeping made us feel extremely welcome during our stay. The concierge, in particular, was mostly helpful in assisting us in procuring reservations for various restaurants in the Ginza area. On the day of our departure, we again appreciated the hotel was able to hold our luggage until it was time for us to catch our train at Tokyo Station. side NOTE: We caught the train from the JR Shinbashi station everyday during our stay, but it is quite a long walk to the station from the hotel. Just FYI. BOTTOM LINE: Overall, a wonderful stay and experience at this hotel. Convenient location and extremely helpful staff.

Yelp
First time staying at this hotel, it's definitely nicer than all the Airbnb that we stayed prior. We often opt for Airbnb because it's a cheaper option. However, I decided to book with hotel this time to use their concierge service. Honestly, the service is on point. Even thought, they didn't accommodated all our first choices but they did their best to secure our spots for other choices that we provided. They were very quick to reply to our emails. We went to all of our restaurant reservation and had no problem. The room is very spacious and clean. The staff is all very helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again. Try to take advantage of their breakfast buffet. I think it's from 7am-10:30am and around 2,800yen. We went after 10:30 and had to pay a lot more for breakfast.

Yelp
This is a small unique hotel with a lobby on the 25th floor of the Shiodome Media Tower. There is a welcome 9 story open atrium as you exit the elevator corridor and the background for the check in desk is a wonderful view window of Tokyo Tower, and on a clear day or afternoon, Mt Fuji. The building itself is the headquarters for Kyodo News and on the ground floor Kyodo sets up changing photo galleries that spread to the mezzanine level overlooking the NewsArt Cafe. In the lobby of the hotel you will find ever changing artist exhibitions with occasional pieces that span several stories of the atrium. Under the direction of CEO/Executive Vice President/General Manager, Yoshiaki Hayashi, and Brand Manager, Takayuki Suzuki, the hotel features a unique Artist In Hotel project. Rooms on the 31st floor are transformed into an art piece by an invited artist who stays in the hotel while working on the piece. There is also a lobby smoking space, done by artist Akihisa Hayashi (Marron-chan). The Artist In Hotel rooms run from ¥30000 for a Single, ¥35000 for a Queen, and ¥44000 for a King. Get room 3110, which has a the same picturesque view of Tokyo Tower with Mt Fuji in the background you saw standing in front of the reception desk. Curl up in a seat with a cup of Illy drip provided for your room and a complimentary English Japan Times newspaper, for the morning view; have a traveler size Suntory whisky on ice and an otsumami package purchased from the Family Mart conbini in the basement, and enjoy the stunning twilight view. The Art lobby has a buffet morning service, with limited items in the afternoon, and casual dining in the evening. Tateru Yoshino formerly had a one star dining room here but now the emphasis of Tateru Yoshino bis is "casual French food". Hanasanshou, also formerly a one star Michelin recipient, features kaiseki meals with an emphasis on a Kyoto family's farmed vegetables. The Society is a very understated bar influenced by Takayuki Suzuki ,and the Tokyo headquarters of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. There is also a takeout Tateru Yoshino plus, featuring baked goods, gift boxed pastries, and sandwiches; and NewsArt Cafe, on the ground floor of the building. Both are also run by the hotel. Shiodome is a working area and without foot traffic on the ground floor, taxis can be hard to get at certain times. If you are ever unsure, the hotel personnel will accompany you to the ground floor and flag a taxi if necessary. If you are dining outside the hotel, be sure to use the concierge to arrange a reservation (they will inform the restaurant you are their hotel guest and whether you speak any Japanese) and get directions for your taxi driver. Both services are complimentary and tipping is not expected. You will find a lot of foreign guests (including Hawaii locals!) who either found this location through the hotel's brand partners, or traded up from the Shiba Park Hotel (which is still under renovation at this time). You will not have difficulty finding someone who can help you in English. General Manager Hayashi is a second generation hotelier whose father was part of the Imperial Hotel management, and Manager Suzuki is strongly emphasizes ichigo ichie, so while the hotel is not over the top, expect the high level of guest service you typically find in the Japanese hospitality industry.

Yelp
Stayed here with my girlfriend in a queen bed for three nights in November 2016. This was the fanciest hotel of the stay and was well worth it. It was hard to bring myself to leave the hotel room and continue on my Japan itinerary! We stayed on the artists level, meaning that each room of that floor has been decorated in by a different artist. I absolutely loved our room style - there's a brochure that shows all the different styles and I thought ours was the best :) The bed was very comfortable. The hotel feels luxurious - great for business or family/friends or solo travel. It's located right by the Shiodome station, though we didn't often travel via this metro line. Instead, we'd get off at Shimbashi and walk across the above ground platforms to arrive at the hotel. I thought the room was surprisingly spacious, given what I've always heard about Japanese hotel rooms. We had an a great city view, but the best view has got to be from the lobby. Also, I absolutely LOVED the daily breakfasts which are free. They've got a great selection, including made to order paninis and smoothies and a coffee machine that made green tea lattes! However, the room is somewhat small, very quiet, and furniture seems a bit too small. The end result is, you probably end up not stuffing yourself full, but you'll get a pretty good meal. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
OMG this place is swanky. Lots of great art work all over the hotel (watch the kids cause this stuff is for sale) great breakfast buffet and the staff knows what great customer service is. They can't do enough for you and want you to know thy want your business. Safe and beautiful place to lay your head but be prepared to walk to go shopping or take the subway which is attached to the hotel via the skywalk.

Yelp
This was the first hotel on our stay in Japan. It's pretty located closet to the JR station, but make sure you use the sky bridge, as we didn't know about it the first few days and walked the longer way on the streets. The hotel is definitely geared towards the business crowd but it wasn't a bad experience for a couple. The views are great as the hotel rooms start on the 25th floor. The room was pretty small but was very clean with all the basic amenities. The staff was also very friendly, offered us umbrellas when it rained and were good about directions, and had maps of the railways. They do speak English as well, which is great for tourists. The area around was pretty much business business business. It's crowded with folks going to and from work. The shops around do tend to close early, so make sure you don't wait too long for dinner.

Yelp
I stayed here for five nights during my recent trip to Tokyo. First, the location is pretty good--it's relatively close to several metro lines. If I remember correctly, the Oedo line is the closest (take the elevator to B2 and it's literally a 2-3 minute walk). The Yurikamome is also super close (take the elevator to the 3rd floor, and it's just outside the main doors). The Ginza line requires a bit more of a walk (5-7 minutes). The JR Yamanote seems to be a bit further (maybe 10-15 minutes walking distance). We actually barely used the Yamanote line during our stay, and mostly used the Metro stations since it was closer (and equally as convenient for our purposes). Getting to and from the airport was also a breeze, the Narita and Haneda Airport Limousine Bus stops at this hotel (and the hotel sells tickets for return trips to Narita or Haneda). Second, the views are amazing. The hotel starts on the 25th floor, so I think you can't really go wrong with the views you get. I opted to get the Tokyo Tower view, and I think it was worth it. My husband and I spent a few nights with the curtains open just staring outside. Beautiful view! Third, the concierge service here was great. I wanted to try at least one Michelin-starred sushi place on our trip, and the hotel concierge was really organized and happy to help us make reservations. I just e-mailed the concierge what dates I would like, and she was able to arrange us reservations relatively easily (our first choice was booked up, but we got our second choice). When we checked in, we were also given a printout of a map showing where the restaurant was, the reservation time, and a photo of the restaurant's exterior (which is super helpful, since some restaurants are difficult to find!). Lastly, the rooms here are not the biggest (which, after doing some research, seemed typical of most hotels in Tokyo), but our room sufficed. The room was clean and well-kept. And everyone at the hotel was just super nice. Definitely great service, and the overall price was decent. If my travels ever take me back to Tokyo, I'll definitely be looking up Park Hotel again.

Yelp
This review is actually a couple of months overdue... I've actually stayed at the Park Hotel for my business travel to Tokyo probably 5 or 6 times, I have also stayed at the royal park shiodome a couple of times. The Park hotel is actually very clean and the service is wonderful. The staff all speaks english and are very accommodating. Everytime I stay at the park hotel, I get a fantastic Tokyo tower view and I have no reason to complain. The breakfast is very good and the amenities are plentiful. A couple of months ago, I actually received the "artists room" which was a uniquely designed hand painted room depicting the zodiac signs. Some people may of been creeped out, but I thought it was AWESOME! I would recommend this place, as it is truly unique and decently priced for downtown Tokyo.

Yelp
My bf and I stayed here for about 10 nights during most of our time in Tokyo. Price: we booked several nights for queen which is ~$230/ night and king which is ~$280/ night. These are pretty last minute prices and they may differ depending on the night (I would guess weekends cost more). On Orbits or Expedia, if you book in advance, you can get a twin/ queen for ~$160, which is a steal for a 4-star hotel in a convenient location. The view: phenomenal! The lobby is on the 25th floor and all the rooms start from the 26th floor, so great view is a given. I can see the Tokyo Tower from my room. Rooms: a bit small, but all hotel rooms in Tokyo are small. However, they don't skimp on amenities. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, razor, hair ties, etc. are generously stocked and constantly restocked. Staff/ service: The service here is flawless! I've felt nothing less of a VVVIP since we've arrived. Everyone here speaks perfect (or very close to perfect) English. The front desk staff are professional and friendly. Sugihara, a front desk staff in particular, stands out. She is the most genuine and kind person I have ever met... and she's super adorable, too! The concierge(s) here is helpful- she scored us a last minute reservation to a 3-michelin star restaurant. She was on point with recommending other restaurants too. Sometimes there are greeters in front of the lobby during the early evenings, which is a nice touch. Even the housekeepers are extremely well-spoken, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. Location: Amazing. Park Hotel is practically in the heart of Tokyo and business district. Shimbashi/ Shiodome, major JR train stations for transferring is only 5-minute walk away. There are a bunch of izakayas and shops. Lastly, it's within 10-15 minute walking distance to Yurakucho, Ginza, etc. Loved being able to walk around Yurakucho past midnight after the trains close to get some yakitori and beers. Overall: Seriously 10/10. Stay here! You wont regret it. Park Hotel is one of the top 4-star hotels in Tokyo, recommended to us by a friend. Tip: There are a bunch of 'park hotels' in Tokyo, including the Royal Park Hotel right next door, so be sure to clarify especially if you're taking a cab. Also, although it is not customary to tip in Japan, you can tip at nice hotels such as this. I've given small tips for the awesome service I've received because they deserve it. They are really appreciative when you do!

Yelp
Very nice hotel that sits above the business center near the Shiodome station stop. I believe each room has an amazing view of Tokyo and is also near the JR line as well. Staff was amazingly friendly, courteous and also spoke English well. Rooms are a bit small but the location is centrally located near shops, restaurants and train stations. This will be my go to hotel whenever I return back to Tokyo.

Yelp
Pros: Great area Easily accessible to subway Art room was beautiful Great views Cons: Very unhelpful staff Room service ends early and is VERY limited Taxi drivers constantly can't find hotel (they end up taking you to royal park hotel) Very small rooms No robes I've been to Tokyo many times and have never had a bad experience like this hotel. One night we handed our taxi driver the card with the hotels address. The card was given to us to make the language barrier easier. Even with the card we were taken to royal park hotel. It was pouring raining and we needed up drenched and walking a block to the hotel. When we got inside we went to the lobby and asked if our card was wrong, or if the mixup with the other hotel was normal. The man was very rude and only said that the taxi was wrong and it's not their fault. It would've been nice to hear a "sorry you got drenched make sure next time to say this..." or anything but instead the man was rude and abrupt and brushed us off. We thought maybe it was just a bad driver and went up to our room. BUT THE MIX UP HAPPENED EVERYTIME WE TOOK A CAB HOME. Not one driver knew the hotel. Whether we have them the card or not. We even had a driver call the front desk and still we ended up at the wrong hotel. Another issue was we got back to the room late on a Sunday after a long day we just wanted to order food to the room. Room service is over at 10 pm so we asked if the front desk could order us a pizza. They said no that nothing delivers to us and they suggested family mart. I got to my room called the dominos a mile away and low and behold they deliver to us. I guess they just don't want to take the extra step? Another thing is we're American and don't read Japanese so we asked for a printout of how to use the remote since every other hotel we've been in has had one. The girl at the desk said you have one in your room. I told her we didn't because I looked through every drawer and every paper they gave us and she literally walked away without helping me. I honestly never complain I totally get working the service industry sucks. My boyfriend and I both work the service industry. We get it. But the attitude and rudeness we got from this hotel was ridiculous. Never coming back. Will be writing reviews on all of my travel blogs. I'm so bummed especially because the view is so beautiful and the art room is gorgeous.

Yelp
Such a beautiful hotel. About 25 minutes from the Haneda Airport, this hotel is located in a pretty quiet area and conveniently attached to the Shimbashi JR line (about a 5 minute walk). Our room was on the art floor so each room was decorated with artwork from different artists. Truthfully, the room we got was a little creepy with somber vibes. I couldn't really sleep the first night because of it (haha). We walked around the floor to look at pictures of the other rooms and they were so cool, bright, and vibrant. Pros: x Friendly/helpful staff x Lobby w/ dining area x Located close to train station x Incredible view of Tokyo Cons: x Tiny gym. Literally one bike and one elliptical... x Expensive food/drinks x Little options for room service x Small rooms In all, we had a pleasant stay. Really enjoyed coming back to the hotel after a long day of exploring.

Yelp
We were traveling to japan and we're looking for hostels rather than hotels, nut when doing more research, with 3 people, it would be cheaper to stay at a hotel rather than a hostel. Plus, I think there was a special promotion of some sort for the Park Hotel. What's closely by? It's located in the more business and financial part of Tokyo (Shiodome), conveniently next to the JR station. It's also near Tsukiji Market. Depend ending of which room you get, you can also get a view of Tokyo Tower. Who stays here? We were probably the only people staying in the hotel who were not on business travel. This place is definitely a hotel for business travelers. There is a atrium of the lobby of the hotel, which is at the top of the building, that has open seating for their cafe/bar/restaurant. We noticed a lot of people talking business, even on weekends. What's the vibe? Modern art is displayed everywhere in the atrium and lobby of the hotel. Don't get me wrong, modern art is okay, but this stuff was kinda creepy. They had voodoo looking dolls displayed and lots of weird paintings that resembled scenes from The Ring. I hope this was seasonal art that was eventually been rotated out. How are the rooms? Nice and clean. You're in japan so don't expect a ton of room. You'll find the rooms with two beds to be two twin beds. In the US, rooms with two beds (queen beds) can typically sleep up to 4 people. Not so true in Japan. Luckily we had a view of the Tokyo Tower from out room. Transportation? The JR station is right downstairs and can be accessed from the sky bridge. When we first arrived at Tokyo Stations with all of our bags, we cabbed it to the hotel, which only took 5-10 minutes.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS HOTEL! The staff goes above and beyond to satisfy the needs of the guests and makes you feel so welcome. Their food is great, the location is great, the hotel is kept up nicely and they have beautiful art everywhere. If you go to Tokyo, you MUST stay here!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Yelp
This was our first time to Japan and Park Hotel Tokyo was the perfect hotel. It's in the heart of the business district but very convenient to all attractions. The staff was all very nice but I can't say enough about their concierge Nozomi S. She was pleasant, very helpful, she went above and beyond to getting my SIM card that I purchased at the airport to work with my Iphone 6plus, directions, suggestions to good food and attractions. Thank you Nozomi for make our first trip to Tokyo less stressful and enjoyable! Your fellow Wisconsin girl!

Yelp
Searching for a decent place to crash for my layover in Japan that is reasonably close to Tsukiji Market, JR station and not cause me take out a second mortgage led me to this hotel. With the aid of gps and good signage I was able to navigate my way here from Narita on the Narita Express, transfer to the local line and wander from Shimbashi station to this hotel on my first attempt. The rooms, although perfectly adequate for a single business traveler, would be claustrophobic for a couple (unless newly married, haha) let alone a family of 4. The bathroom was adequately stocked with everything a typical business traveler would forget to bring: comb, razor, toothbrush, etc. I don't remember having a similar experience with hotels with a similar price point in the USA. I had the concierge call a taxi for me at 3am so I can line up to see the fish auction at Tsukiji. He even went the extra mile and wrote a note in Japanese for me to hand to the taxi driver so I will make it to my destination without a problem. I really felt a bit odd to have the concierge take care of this and a bunch of other things for me and not tip him as tipping is not customary in Japan.

Yelp
The Park Hotel Tokyo is fantastic. Let me start by saying that as an American, I appreciated the mostly English-speaking staff, who were super helpful with any requests or information, such as how to change dollars to yen (they have an ATM in the lobby that does it for you). The hotel sits at the top of the Shiodome Media Tower in the Shiodome area of Tokyo - not particularly within walking distance of anything special, but that's ok. The hotel sits on top of the Shimbashi subway station, accessible directly from the basement level of the building (take elevators down to bottom level). It's about a 10-15 minute brisk walk underground to the station, with stores and a Taco Bell on the way (yes, Japanese Taco Bell). The Shimbashi station is part of the Yamanote loop, which takes you in a circle to every major district in Tokyo, with Akihabara and Ginza nearby and Shinjuku a short ride away (included with Japan Rail Pass). Once we discovered all this, and found out how accessible the hotel is, Park Hotel became a personal favorite of mine. The neighborhood is quiet, and very very safe. The rooms were comfortable, and fairly large by Tokyo standards, and also fairly inexpensive for what you get. The beds were large and comfortable, and the showers were decent. They have a popular breakfast buffet for approx $24 per person, which we ate every day. Similar upscale hotel buffets in America can be $40-50 or more, so it's great value. The hotel is fairly small and intimate, only occupying the top floors of the building, which gave it a very personal feeling, and was quiet and a good place to relax after a day of walking through insanely busy Tokyo. We saw the same guests every day and the staff eventually got to know us after our 5 day stay. The lobby has a smoking room, so you don't have to go all the way down the elevators to the outside. The bellhops and other staff were ridiculously friendly, and don't take tips, in case you were wondering. Now for the coup-de-grâce, the view. Holy cow, the view. I can't stress enough how important it is for you to upgrade to a Tokyo Tower view room! It's not much extra in cost, but the perfect view of Tokyo Tower directly in front of your window with Fuji in the background is simply breathtaking. Every morning I would look out the window and have a spiritual moment. The view is worth a million dollars. Overall, this hotel vastly exceeded my expectations in every way. The only downside for some people is that it's not within walking distance to any of the major touristy districts, but IS directly on the Yamanote line at Shimbashi station. If you want a relaxing place to unwind in hectic Tokyo, this hotel will meet your needs. Last funny story: we were in the hotel lobby at the exact moment Trump was confirmed as president, and everyone immediately wanted to hear our thoughts as some of the only Americans at the hotel (mostly everyone else it seemed was British, Spanish or Australian). It made us laugh and we will always have the memory of Park Hotel Tokyo as the place we were when Trump became president. Wonderful memories! Ps if you arrive in Tokyo and have luggage and plan on taking a taxi, make sure you have the name of the hotel and the Shiodome Media Building, as well as the name of the Shiodome district printed out in Japanese. It was very difficult for us to get to the hotel because we couldn't communicate with the driver and there was no one around to speak Japanese for us as interpreter. If you don't have something to print, make sure you have directions or some sort of hotel location info on your phone for the driver to go off of. Tokyo is absolutely enormous and taxi drivers don't know where every little thing is from memory, and if you can't speak Japanese, you'll have a hard time.

Yelp
i travel a lot. for work & pleasure. i've been fortunate enough to stay in some amazing hotels around the world. unfortunately, the park hotel just doesn't compare with some of my better experiences. first the good: the location is pretty good. we got an amazing view of the tokyo tower from our room. plus it's close to the Tsukiji fish market, a couple subway stations, and the ginza district. so it's centrally located. the staff are decent- mostly friendly but when I went to ask for a later checkout time of 1pm, i was met with 'that will be a 1,500Y charge'. Come on, for 1 add'l hour? (checkout time is noon). The not so good: the breakfast is not worth the 2,800Y charge for the lobby restaurant. (you can get out and find way better and cheaper places within 10-15 min walking distance) also, the overall place needs an interior remodel. the carpet was stained and frayed in the hallways and in the rooms. the room decor was drab and uninspiring. i would just say the place looks 'tired'. for the amount of money we spent i would have liked a bit more energy and delightfulness. guess we'll need to stay at the andaz down the street for that.

Yelp
This is the worst hotel in Tokyo that I ever stayed in; -checking out you find that they change the daily rate per their whim. When I asked, they said it fluctuates with the occupancy... even if it is still the middle of the week - I asked for just half an hour late check out, and she said they can give me 15 minutes only...I don't think these guys have heard about what other hotels do to accommodate their guests - Food in their restaurant on the 25th floor is really terrible. I ordered pasta one night, presumably "fetuchini", and was totally devoid of any taste or flavor -at breakfast I asked for some more tea, and I was given something that tastes totally like coffee. I guess they don't change -or wash- their pots !! -Communications is really hard, since most of their staff hardly knows any English. Even the ones who try to speak it, you would find it very hard to understand

Steve B.

Yelp
terrible hotel with very bad service and the restaurants serve low quality food with minimal portions, but overprice all food and drinks. i will NEVER return back to this hotel. i've traveled around the world and this is the WORST hotel i've stayed at.

Yelp
Having stayed earlier in our vacation in a different hotel in Tokyo in the Shinjuku area as well as a ryokan in Hakone, coming here was a bit different. The hotel itself is very lovely, our artist room was absolutely beautiful, and the views of Tokyo Tower from our room breathtaking, especially at night. We also were treated to complimentary sake upon arrival, a great touch! As elsewhere in Japan, everything was spotless. All that said, we felt a little less welcome here than in other locations in Japan. The staff were perfectly professional, but just not as warm and friendly as in other places we had visited over the prior week. I don't know if it was just because their usual clientele are business people or what, but it was a distinctly different vibe from other hotels/ryokans in which we had stayed. Breakfast buffet is solid, though small. Was surprised by the very Western dinner menu, including room service, but man, those BLTs were tasty! During our stay we also happened to meet one of the artists who was having an exhibition on our floor - what a fantastic guy, with beautiful work! Having local artists featured throughout the hotel was really nice. I also have to say that because this is a little more of a business/financial district, there wasn't QUITE as much right out the front door to explore as in other locations, and a little harder to find the convenience stores and such. However, it's still a short walk to the Hamarikyu Gardens and only about 15 minutes' walk to the Tsujiki Fish Market. I don't know that I'd stay here again, partly because it was a little further from what felt like the heart of all the city, and partly because of the strange, slightly uncomfortable vibe. But it was a beautiful place and a good stay.
