6 Cultural Experiences at World of Hyatt Properties - AFAR

"An understated luxury hotel with a strong curated-art focus: a major commission inspired by the waterway welcomes guests and a ‘park by water’ gallery displays works by more than 20 international artists throughout the property, offering a quieter, more personal cultural experience than nearby large institutions; the collection continues into the hotel’s bar and lounge." - AFAR

I recently stayed at the Park Hyatt London River Thames, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the warm welcome by the door team to the smooth check-in with Dominiki, the service was outstanding. My River View Room was larger than usual, with a super comfortable bed and a bathtub with a view, which was truly special. I also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with excellent service from Gaby. The pool, gym, and spa were all top-tier, offering a perfect space to unwind. Check-out was a breeze with Georgina, who made the process seamless. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking luxury and impeccable service in London.

Terrific hotel, one of the best I've stayed at. Everything was outstanding from the beautiful new rooms to the excellent proactive service. For example, I arrived way earlier than checkin due to a morning arrival and all I expected was to drop off my luggage but was given a temporary room to rest and refresh until my booked room was ready. Rooms are very well laid out with a nice closet/dressing area and high tech bathrooms. The location is away from the main attractions, but honestly I thought it was perfectly fine. It is a 3 minute walk to the Vauxhall tube station and within 20 minutes of most places from there. Highly recommend this hotel.

When I checked out I mentioned to the Front Desk that this hotel is in my top 5 luxury (I have stayed at hundreds over 30 years) in terms of service, room, and value. The ultra high ceilings already give this property a sense of grandeur and while it is a large hotel, everything was very discreet, quiet and I felt like the only guest they were looking after. Check in was warm and friendly, and I was upgraded to a high floor with view of the Thames and the London Eye. This hotel is only a few months old and the rooms were spectacularly modern, super clean and so well designed with plentiful electrical outlets (so great when you need to charge multiple devices). It is also completely sound proof so I could get a great night's sleep (most comfortable pillows and mattress!!). As a fitness junkie, the gym did not disappoint. All the equipment and machines you could want, as well as free weights, and great stretch area with bands, med balls, etc, etc. Fresh fruit, multi-temperature water stations and even BMI machine were a nice touch. The fitness center bathrooms had a fantastic sauna and entrance to a large pool (The Park Hyatt New York still has the best hotel pool I have been to). Wish I had more time to try the spa treatments. I didn't have breakfast, but did dine one night at the casual restaurant and the meal was delicious, fresh and clean (protein salad). Service throughout from the bell to check in to spa staff was impeccable and truly lives up to the Park Hyatt prestige. Location is right next to the US embassy and while not in central London, is only a 3 minute walk to Vauxhall station. Short stroll to the water and you can walk all away along up to the Tate Modern and Borough Market or across one of the bridges to get you to central. LOVED my stay and will be back again.

Had the most amazing time at the Park Hyatt River Thames. The dinner was exquisite, I basically ordered the entire menu! The fresh breakfast even more so! Sumptuous fresh eggs with sourdough and the yogurt pots with amazing roasted beans coffee. The new room with that Thames view- STUNNING! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the hotels vibe was immaculate. What a wonderful new addition to Nine Elms!

The hardware of Park Hyatt London is up to standard and enjoyable, as expected. However, it’s unfortunate that the overall quality and training of the staff at this newly opened hotel are lacking. I stayed there over New Year’s, and many details that were confirmed over the phone were not properly handled. Initially, I decided not to dwell on it when checking out, but the valet manager’s unreasonable behavior when retrieving my car made me furious once again. As a loyal Hyatt member with Globalist status, I later sent a complaint email. While the hotel management responded with a commitment to improvement, the compensation they promised required multiple follow-ups before anything was done. Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on with this hotel…

Beautiful hotel with outstanding service! Me and my partner stayed in a suite. The room was immaculate with a classic, sophisticated aesthetic inkeeping with the rest of the hotel - just mind your head on the low hanging lights! The hotel was quiet during our stay and we were lucky enough to have the swimming pool to ourselves in the evening. We enjoyed a meal in the dining area and also had breakfast. We were happy to see there was a full vegan breakfast but there could be more vegan options on the lunch and dinner menus. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend Christmas trip to London. This hotel is simply stunning and the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Joshua and his team at the front desk and concierge couldn’t have done anymore for us to ensure our stay was wonderful. We had breakfast on a couple of mornings and the whole service was impeccable as was the choice and quality of the meal, thank you to the lovely lady who greeted us each morning, our two boys loved the waffles! The rooms are something very special with the comfiest bed I think I’ve ever slept in. We had a great view of the river. Location wise, it’s a 5 minute walk to Vauxhall station so very quick and easy access to the tube (just three stops for some great shopping) bus’s and overland trains. The access to the river boats is equally easy with a boat station just a few hundred yards from the hotel. On the final morning we made use of the hotel pool which also has a spa and gym. My children and I felt like we were on a summer holiday as opposed to a very wet and windy London.||Overall a wonderful, stunning, well run hotel in a get location for getting out and about when in town. We’ll definitely be coming to stay again.

A Luxurious Escape! From the moment we arrived at the Park Hyatt London, we felt like royalty! The serene atmosphere, flawless service, and stunning interiors set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Our suite was absolutely immaculate, with a sophisticated yet cozy design that made it hard to leave. Every detail—from the plush bedding to the elegant lighting—was perfection. It felt like a private sanctuary in the heart of the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the gorgeous swimming pool. We were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves one evening, and it felt like such a special treat—pure relaxation! The dining experience was just as impressive. The breakfast was a standout, and we were thrilled to see a full vegan option on the menu. Every bite was delicious, and the presentation was flawless. All in all, the Park Hyatt London was the perfect setting for our luxurious staycation. Between the peaceful ambiance, outstanding service, and attention to detail, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
