"The imposing 19th-century Spanish Colonial facade of the Park Hyatt Mendoza still bears the iconic 'Plaza-Hotel' over its colonnaded entryway. "Bistro M at Park Hyatt Mendoza When you've hit your limit of beef consumption, you can turn to Bistro M for the best "merluza negra" in town, which is a freshly grilled black hake dish topped with an Italian vinaigrette sauce of diced tomatoes, capers and black olives, over roasted asparagus with a side of quinoa and pumpkin risotto. It’s delicious. Bistro M is Park Hyatt Mendoza’s main dining room specializing in Italian cuisine and has a wood burning oven. Dominating the restaurant is an impressive two-story wine library with a Wine Spectator stamp of approval as having one of the most outstanding wine lists in the world. Chile 1124; +54 261 441 1234"

We just completed our stay at the hotel. We had two rooms for four nights. The hospitality that we received was absolutely amazing. My husband and I have been Hyatt globalist’s for the past 20 years and your hotel and the service we received is in our top 5 hotels worldwide. We so appreciated the upgrades we received, the support from the concierge, and everyone’s willingness to answer our questions and go the extra mile for us. The hotel’s commitment to customer service is amazing and will be forever thankful for the opportunity to stay at this. property. ||The concierge helped us with transportation for all of our lunches and dinners and tastings. Our driver, Martin, throughout the trip was amazing. First, he was always on time and always knew exactly where to take us, always getting us there on time and staying through our long tastings and lunches. He gave us background on all of the places we were visiting and answered all of our questions from ice cream recommendations to geography to music in Argentina. His English was excellent and he was always extremely professional. I would rate him 5+ stars on a five star scale.

We had a wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt Mendoza. The hotel is beautifully situated right in front of Plaza Independencia, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and wine tours. The building itself is grand and historic, with a luxurious interior that blends old-world charm with modern comfort.||Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with lovely views of the Andes in the distance. The staff were professional and friendly, especially the concierge team who helped us arrange a fantastic dinner at a nearby restaurant. The on-site spa and outdoor pool were a relaxing bonus.||The only reason I’m giving four instead of five stars is that a few areas of the hotel—especially the hallways and some furnishings—are starting to show a bit of wear and could use refreshing. Additionally, breakfast, while good, felt a bit underwhelming for a hotel of this caliber.||Overall, Park Hyatt Mendoza offers a refined, comfortable base for discovering this beautiful wine region. We would definitely return.

Staff was very helpful upon arrival. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and chefs were present to prepare items such as Eggs Benedict and other specially ordered items. The Balcony Bar has a pleasant atmosphere and the drinks are very well made. Parking is included as part of the room rate which was a plus!!

The hotel is great but the swimming pool's water is not warmed, and the jacuzzis cannot be shared. The restaurant dinner menu is really pricy yet average. Overall, the hotel is modern and clean but overpericed. If anything, the parking is free which is great

I recently stayed at the Park Hyatt in Mendoza and, while the location is certainly a highlight—offering convenient access to local restaurants and attractions—the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for a hotel positioned as five-star. Pros: • Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. Cons: • The room was not as clean as expected. There were noticeable stains on the carpet, which immediately gave off a worn-down feeling. • The bathroom lacked basic ventilation; no exhaust fan made it stuffy after a shower. • The walk-in shower had poor drainage. Water remained pooled on the floor overnight, and housekeeping had to mop it the next day. • Breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming in both selection and quality. Overall, I would rate this as a three-star experience at best. The amenities and service do not justify the premium pricing, and I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and functionality from a hotel of this caliber.

Google
The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-organized, and the entire staff is not only professional but also genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to assist with any request.||||One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the offerings were impressive, providing a delicious and hearty start to my day, which I deeply appreciated for my busy schedule.||||My room was spacious, immaculately kept, and exceptionally comfortable, offering a peaceful environment that allowed me to relax and focus after long days of meetings and activities. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is quiet and sophisticated, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure.||||I highly recommend Park Hyatt Mendoza for anyone visiting the city—whether for work or pleasure.

Google
THE place to stay in Mendoza. First class service. Excellent location. We are always treated very well here. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Also, Breakfast is first rate. We will be back again soon.

We arrived early and tired, and the gentleman at the front desk was able to provide us with early check-in so we could settle in and prepare for our afternoon activities. The staff at the concierge desk planned a perfect winery day for us at very short notice, so our few days in Mendoza were exactly what we had hoped for.

Yelp
Amenities were above average. The room was fantastic. The staff were very kind and helpful. Our only complaint was the high-cost restaurant. They are charging higher than American rates and Americans like to go to places where they can go affordably.

Yelp
We just finished a wonderful 5 night stay at this Park Hyatt... SEBASTIAN, at the Concierge desk organized two (2) private, day-long tours of the vineyards for us....which, turned out to be fantastic. We had a super Driver, GASTON, who spent both days with us. Do not miss wine tastings at the various wineries....there are really too many wonderful ones, but we tried to see several per day. The hotel itself is in a phenomenal location; with great restaurants, bars and shops literally right outside the front doors. I'd recommend that Hyatt do a refresh soon as it was looking a bit tired throughout.

Yelp
Such a great staff and the food was amazing! Restaurant staff are really nice and try very hard to accommodate you. The concierge front desk ladies are so sweet and also very knowledgeable on which wineries to go to. They booked all of our wineries for us, which was extremely helpful. Definitely a must! One of our favorite hotels!

Yelp
The rooms are somewhat outdated but the pool area and lobby are exceptionally nice. Having spent 3 nights and 4 days in Mendoza, this was the nicest hotel in the city as far as I could tell. The front desk was very hospitable and offered wine upon check in. The gym has all the basic essentials but isn't mind blowing. The locker room, which is equipped with a sauna and a jacuzzi, is nicer than the gym. There's a big casino in the lobby with two floors, but the crowd is old and has the vibe that they're spending what little income they have. At least there's a designated smoking section.

Yelp
This hotel is getting a seven star (out of five star) review on for customers service. I checked into the hotel because I was on a group tour, and the accommodations they put us in were completely unacceptable. I'm a fan of the Hyatt brand overall, and this hotel did not disappoint. The pool area is very relaxing, and has enough chairs to accommodate the majority of the guests. If you have a chance, definitely visit the spa. I have been to some of the best across the United States and in terms of amenities and service, it's fantastic. Their wine selection and pricing is great as well. There was a small incident that happened on the first day I checked in, and thanks to the exceptional customer service from Consuelo and several other of the female staff, I would 100% come back to this property, I recommend it to anyone for either business or personal travel, and it was a fantastic end to my Argentina 11 day trip.

Yelp
Had a great stay here. This is clearly the premiere hotel in Mendoza. Staff was extremely attentive, and helpful. The room is not huge, but definitely enough space for two people. We were able to use the concierge to get a driver for our day up in the mountains-- much cheaper than booking a tour. We also used the hotel to get to and from the hotel from airport-- very convenient. As a side note, the casino is much larger than expected. Lots of slot machines and a few table games. Worth visiting for a little while. Did take advantage of the spa. It is ok- but nothing special. You can't beat the prices there, so if you have down time, try it. Just don't expect it to be anything fancy. This is definitely where I would stay again if I were to return to Mendoza.

Yelp
Staying here for our honeymoon and upon arrival the woman at the front desk told us she would include our breakfast for our stay. At breakfast they acted very rude when we told them, and then the front desk would not resolve it. Very annoying. At a Marriott this would be fixed immediately. Here they told us we have to wait for them to check with the person. I'll never stay at a Hyatt again. No service and no hospitality. Rude workers over a ridiculous small bill for breakfast. It ruined my morning and left a very bad taste in my mouth. Ridiculous!!!!

Yelp
My wife and I (along with 2 friends) had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Park Hyatt in Mendoza. Here's what we liked about it. 1. We had arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport. At the last minute when in Santiago, we changed flights (to an earlier one) and through some quick email exchanges with the concierge, they made it happen - nice! 2. Beautiful room layout - comfy bed 3. Delicious breakfast - well worth the cost 4. Excellent location on the central square - walking distance to everything in town 5. Lovely hotel design Would I stay there again? Absolutely. Just wish it was clear and not rainy!

Yelp
Very nice hotel in a great location in Mendoza, just off of the Plaza Independencia. The building has a restored 19th-century Spanish colonial façade but is completely up to date on the interior. The rooms are well appointed and the service is top notch, from housekeeping to the concierge to the servers in the bars and restaurants. For excursions, house cars and drivers are available (including English speaking drivers) to take you wherever you'd like to go. The concierge can make reservations at wineries or any of the dozens of fabulous restaurants in the area. As non-Spanish speaking Americans, we found everyone to be quite welcoming and hospitable, even when a language barrier existed. While it may be pricey by local standards, we found it to be a tremendous value, particularly given the favorable exchange rate. Oh, and there is a nice pool too! Highly, highly recommend.

Yelp
I typically wait a while before writing a review of a place I literally just checked into two hours ago. But WOW! Right from the checkin to being escorted to my room, the service here is top notch! And my room? Oh so comfortable and absolutely beautiful. It has everything one could ever want and more. Park Hyatt, how about we go steady on a permanent basis?

Yelp
I love this hotel. They lost 1 star because of the restaurant staff and food quality, but the spa is divine, the pool is fun and quiet, and the hotel staff is very attentive. I wish they didn't have a casino, though, because goodbye christmas money. The location is also very good, near great bars and restaurants, but I DO NOT recommend the city tour bus that starts in front of the hotel. (hop on/hop off), and i can't stress that enough. I'll review that separately. One last thing - have the hotel set you up on winery tours. Our 2 days with driver Axel were the highlight of my 3 weeks in South America.

Yelp
Great food and service in the first floor restaurant (Bistro M). Outstanding - OUTSTANDING Hake, as well as a generally delicious meal. The sommelier Alex (from the US) was very talented and knows his wines!

Yelp
I stayed here simply to use my points and the fact it was centrally located. The hotel is nice but nothing special to write home about. The location was probably the best part of this hotel to get to the local markets and restaurants. If I came back to Mendoza I would look for a hotel close by to this but smaller and more boutique experience.

Yelp
This is a great hotel, with excellent restaurants, a nice outdoor pool and spacious rooms with views. The concierge is helpful and made good reservations for us. We enjoyed a nice few days' rest from our breakneck tour of Argentina.

Yelp
My room was over the top fabulous. I Ioved the astonishing views of the Andes Mountains. I was enthralled by the sophistication in my room and throughout the hotel. This business trip, didn't feel like one. Argentina is such a unique, beautiful and charming country. My associates and I, visited Mendoza's top restaurant's and wineries we represented. As a importer and distributor, I appreciated the rich culture, exquisite foods and refined wine. I'm a forever fan of the Argentinian cuisine, local vineyards and Park Hyatt Mendoza. I look forward to returning next year.

Yelp
I am being extremely bad treated by the concierge of Park Hyatt Mendoza. I am writing this in advanced cause may that way you can do something about it. My wife was trying to make travel plans with the concierde and made some questions, whereas he only answer (i) half of the questions, (ii) didn't read through the emails and (iii) was even impolite on the last email saying she was making the question "again" when actually he didn't answer it correctely the first time. Below was the last email from the aforementioned concierge (CHARLIE RAITERI): "We also indicate again that the cost for transportation with a private car from our hotel" Please take some action. This is not the first time we stay in Park Hyatt, but as of now our impression is terrible and we should avoid the brand in the future.

Yelp
Amazing service, with great restaurants and excellent location. The staff all spoke English and were willing to assist. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
Terrible. We have switched rooms already because the plumbing in the room makes our entire room smell like sewage, urine & like someone continues to take a nonstop dump. The hotel looks nice and grand but it's built very poorly. Most employees don't speak English which is tough for travelers. The bathroom and plumbing is FOUL. This should NOT be classified as a Park Hyatt-- this is more equivalent to Holiday Inn for the actual rooms. The lobby is nice but the hallways are not air conditioned. Called for them to look at the shower, all they did was mop it and said all their rooms are like this--smelly foul and not right to ask customers to pay a premium for this TOILET STENTCH.

Hannah S.

Yelp
I was a little underwhelmed by this property after reading all of the great reviews. There was some sort of convention here while we were staying and we had to walk through a metal detector/bag scanner upon entry!! Talk about a negative message to send

Yelp
Once the jealous cooks were notified of my understanding of spanish, things went smooth. Other than the hater maricones in the casino, a great place to stay.
