Second Visit July 2025
After hiking 5 miles to Ouzel Falls (gorgeous, but oh my legs are screaming!), we dragged ourselves into Park Tavern for lunch...again. Yep, second visit in two days. And you know what? It was just as fabulous the second time around.
We grabbed a breezy patio table and were lucky enough to be taken care of by Mindi who was absolutely funny, relaxed, totally in sync with our "we're not rushing this" vibe. She handled the lunch crowd like a pro and somehow still made time to chat and make great recommendations.
And speaking of familiar faces... Ivana remembered us from the day before and stopped by like an old friend. Christian, who helped us with WiFi and killer cocktails yesterday, was behind the bar today mixing drinks like he's been doing it forever. (oh yeah, bartending, Christian...you're a natural.)
The guys couldn't resist round two of those amazing burgers. My girlfriend devoured the short rib grilled cheese and mashed potatoes like it was her very favorite meal. And me? I had a full-on food romance with the blackened salmon piccata. Creamy, lemony, buttery magic. Please, oh please, let me have it again in this lifetime!
This place has heart, hustle, and a vibe that makes you feel like you belong. Don't miss it.

We were so hungry after an early morning hike and during a desperate Google search we discovered Park Tavern. New spot, tucked down a little alley off West Elkhorn and it looked promising. And oh, did it deliver.
They're in soft opening, but you'd never know it. The vibe is modern pub with a fresh twist, cocktails are on point, and the team? So welcoming.
Ivana, the hostess, got us seated at the perfect spot...open doors, mountain breeze, and good energy all around. I wandered up to the bar, started chatting, and to my surprise, I learned I was talking to one of the owners, Sujib. Yep. That was pretty cool!
We had minty mojitos, a Grey Goose lemon drop, and a round of burgers that hit all the right notes...especially that fig and jalapeño combo. And yes, I absolutely ordered the bourbon pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream. Zero regrets. It was southern soul on a plate.
Estes Park's food scene just got a glow-up. This one's worth finding.
