Went here with my wife on Wednesday night. We sat in the bar at a booth and thought the bar area was a nice setting. We had a couple hand-crafted cocktails and they were really delicious. I watched them make all of them and really take their time and pay attention to details. They were very well done! I order old fashions quite a bit and theirs was one of the better ones I have had-not too sweet like many are. We also had an Apathy, a Killer Bee and a Patio Crusher which were also outstanding. We started with the Seared Beef Ravioli which we absolutely loved and could have made a meal out of. I had the herb-roasted chicken thighs which were delicious but it did have a lot of sauce on it. My wife had the short ribs which was really braised beef but was also very delicious. I would recommend this place for both the drinks and the food! Waitress was very nice and attentive so add great service to the list!

Our first time here and it was amazing! Definitely one of the top burgers I’ve ever had and my girlfriend really enjoyed her salmon and pasta 🍝 Our waiter was amazing and very attentive and friendly. 10/10 will be back

Very cool spot tucked away at the end of the main drag in town. They have outdoor and indoor seating, and given the nice weather our first evening, we sat on the back patio. Service was friendly and helpful, albeit a little spotty. We had had a late lunch so we didn't eat much, but what we had was pretty good: jalapeno elk sausage was solid and the bison chili was also quite good. The roasted beetroot tartare salad was also fresh and delicious. But the standout part of the experience were the surprisingly well crafted cocktails. Both the Mariposa and the Apathy were were balanced, and singular in terms of flavor. Bravo.

We loved it so much we went twice! Food was absolutely delicious, tostones are a MUST! Service is phenomenal . Cozy atmosphere, definitely hope to go back. Pecan pie was delicious but $14 for 1 slice was a little outrageous, that’s my only complaint.

Unfortunately, this restaurant didn’t quite live up to expectations. The food was just okay—nothing memorable—and the drinks were similarly underwhelming. I ordered a salad that was priced like a full entrée but arrived looking more like a small side dish, served on a plate that only made it feel smaller. To top it off, our server accidentally spilled a drink on one of us, and while accidents happen, there was no offer to comp anything or make it right. We still ended up paying full price for a pretty lackluster experience. The atmosphere didn’t help either—bland decor and a low-energy vibe made the whole place feel forgettable. All in all, not a place I’d rush back to.

Visited on our honeymoon and sat at the bar. We were met with a smile and amazing service by Sujib. He spent the time to get to know us and our tastes and made drinks that were amazing. All natural ingredients and locally sourced. We went back the following two days. Unbeatable service, drinks, and food.

Fish tacos were delicious! Perfectly cooked, that slaw and crema made it all come together. They were giving out complimentary bone broth soup, would loce to try a soup there on a wintery day. Great old fashioned too!

Google
Park Tavern is new! So don’t let the number of reviews stop you! It’s fine dining in a beautiful space! Tucked off the Main Street, the decor is stunning with a newly redesigned main dining room and bar. Outdoor seating on the glassed in patio, and 10 tables outside on the deck. The food was delicious! My hubby got jalapeño and fig burger! I got the Linguine Blackened Salmon! OMG! Perfectly cooked. Extensive beer, spirits and wine by the bottles! Great service. Good prices. Great food. Go here!

Yelp
What a hidden gem we keep this for our special culinary reward when we want comfort prepared well! Chicken thighs with mushrooms Tostones and burgers all recommend!

Yelp
The service was great, the food good. The vegetarian fried pockets in the small plate section were fabulous. They have a very bright, light area with windows, a patio, and a more formal area to sit in. 2 complaints: the small plate "tostones" with braised beef was not tostones, which I grew up having in South America. It was roasted potatoes which I was not expecting! Secondly, if you advertise "freshly brewed iced tea" then it should be truly brewed iced tea done in house, not from a dispenser with a concentrate. Or at least offer hot tea for those not wanting coffee.

Yelp
We had our post-elopement dinner here with a party of 24 and it could not have been a better choice. Booking was very easy and coordinating with the manager Bishwa was a breeze. He went above and beyond to make sure our group had the exact appetizer combination and entrées we wanted. Our group was full of picky eaters, yet everyone raved about the food. The appetizers (Caesar salad, beef ravioli, jerk chicken lollis) were a huge hit, and the entrées (steak and tostones, herb roasted chicken thighs, Cajun fried rice and garlic shrimp) were just as incredible. The cocktails were also top-notch. The staff was attentive and very nice, which made the whole experience even better. We were only visiting Colorado, but this place will definitely be at the top of our list the next time we are back. It is a perfect spot for a celebration or just a great meal.

Yelp
We were recommended Park Tavern by a local. The entrance is somewhat hidden behind the shops off Elkhorn Ave. We came on a weekday for a quick lunch; timing was in between lunch and dinner, so it was not very busy. Service was quick and attentive. We ordered two apps and an entree. Everything was wonderful! The beef short rib was tender and flavorful. The shrimp aguachile was refreshing and the chili was comforting. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch and would also recommend Park Tavern to others!

Yelp
We have been to this location as several other businesses had been. We wanted to give this place a go and wish them success. This was a successful location for one other restaurant/bar but it's a tough location in my opinion. I'll start by saying I like what they have done to redecorate. I like the bar choices pretty decent list of whiskey, scotch and Bourbon. The food menu relatively simple, burgers, tacos, sandwiches and salads. I'm a little disappointed to see a $16 Caesar salad with no protein. A $2 upcharge for a Caesar with a sandwich instead of fries, as it was a super small salad. The short rib grilled cheese didn't have flavor and was pretty much roast beef pulled apart and on a grilled cheese sandwich one 1/2 of the sandwich the bread was super soggy. The fish tacos were small with a pretty good size piece of fish lots of slaw and good flavor. Maybe that why a small thing of what I think was a tomato sauce was for. I didn't ask but it needed something for sure. Otherwise Good and friendly service saved the experience. I'd come back and try other item and caulk this up to getting started and one off is the hope. We do wish these guys success and will be back to try new things

Yelp
A signature stop! I went here when I was younger and remembered this tucked away pub with an incredible bison burger. Needless to say, we were full and happy leaving! Hristina, our server, was attentive and sweet. The spot has a nice tavern feel with outdoor seating available. Highly recommend the elk sausage :)

Yelp
This spot took over where Wapiti Colorado Pub used to be. I recognized it right when I walked in. They've got both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great. We tried a couple of burgers, and they were solid. Service was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean with a full bar.

Yelp
Second Visit July 2025 After hiking 5 miles to Ouzel Falls (gorgeous, but oh my legs are screaming!), we dragged ourselves into Park Tavern for lunch...again. Yep, second visit in two days. And you know what? It was just as fabulous the second time around. We grabbed a breezy patio table and were lucky enough to be taken care of by Mindi who was absolutely funny, relaxed, totally in sync with our "we're not rushing this" vibe. She handled the lunch crowd like a pro and somehow still made time to chat and make great recommendations. And speaking of familiar faces... Ivana remembered us from the day before and stopped by like an old friend. Christian, who helped us with WiFi and killer cocktails yesterday, was behind the bar today mixing drinks like he's been doing it forever. (oh yeah, bartending, Christian...you're a natural.) The guys couldn't resist round two of those amazing burgers. My girlfriend devoured the short rib grilled cheese and mashed potatoes like it was her very favorite meal. And me? I had a full-on food romance with the blackened salmon piccata. Creamy, lemony, buttery magic. Please, oh please, let me have it again in this lifetime! This place has heart, hustle, and a vibe that makes you feel like you belong. Don't miss it. ~~~~~~~ First visit July 2025 Visited July 2, 2025 We were so hungry after an early morning hike and during a desperate Google search we discovered Park Tavern. New spot, tucked down a little alley off West Elkhorn and it looked promising. And oh, did it deliver. They're in soft opening, but you'd never know it. The vibe is modern pub with a fresh twist, cocktails are on point, and the team? So welcoming. Ivana, the hostess, got us seated at the perfect spot...open doors, mountain breeze, and good energy all around. I wandered up to the bar, started chatting, and to my surprise, I learned I was talking to one of the owners, Sujib. Yep. That was pretty cool! We had minty mojitos, a Grey Goose lemon drop, and a round of burgers that hit all the right notes...especially that fig and jalapeño combo. And yes, I absolutely ordered the bourbon pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream. Zero regrets. It was southern soul on a plate. Estes Park's food scene just got a glow-up. This one's worth finding.

Yelp
OMG! An amazing restaurant! It's slightly off Elk Ave downtown. It's a cute place that serves delicious food!! They have a full bar. We had the Elk medallions with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our waitress was so very nice! We will definitely go back when we go to EP again!

Yelp
Hidden Gem!!! The ambience, the staff, was all over and above. We were traveling with our twin infants and they were so very welcoming and accommodating. The food: OMG out of this world delicious! I had the Elk Tenderloin with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The gravy is something that I would eat on a lot of other foods. The tenderloin was prepared perfectly! MR. Lastly, the prices were unbelievably appealing. Don't pass up this place if you're considering it. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Recommended! Food was 5. Service was 4. Atmosphere was 4. An affordable place to eat in Estes? More, please!

Yelp
Came on a chilly night without reservations and got seated immediately in their cozy dining room. Staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. Best of all, food was great! You've got to try the Steak & Potato Tostones. Perfect way to start with the Pumpkin Soice Old Fashioned. Then we had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and the Salmon Sandwich. Everything was spot on. Really glad we stumbled upon this!

Yelp
Cool vibe here. Everyone is very welcoming. Burger was very good and my wife really loved the ravioli and said the green beans were the best she ever had.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. Food was phenomenal. I had the wildest burger. My husband had the elk tenderloin. Both were delicious. Prices were great too

Yelp
The elk medallion and chicken thighs are to die for. The place tucked behind some other shops, not phenomenal atmosphere but the food and service more than makes up for the very casual vibe. It's the best we've had here in Estes Park during our visit. We will definitely eat here again

Yelp
The food is really good, medium rare burgers were properly cooked to perfection. The service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
We were recently in Estes Park for a wedding and we found Park Tavern using the Yelp app. We had the Hangover Burgers and Caesar Salads and they were both EXCELLENT! We liked them so much that we went back for lunch the very next day to have them again. The burgers were char-broiled with a garlic aioli sauce that was incredible. The salad dressing was homemade and delicious! I wish we lived closer so we could go there every week!

Yelp
A lovely place we found that had really good reviews and decided to give it a go. The service and food were on point. Shared an artisan burger and fries that were fantastic. Another got the seared duck breast special. It was all very good along with a nice menu of artisan drinks. Would absolutely go back.

Jan F.

Yelp
Our expectations were modest when we entered the small waiting area -- but then we were blown away by the service and the absolutely outstanding food. In a party of six, everything we ordered was top-notch, and the drinks were great. The winner may have been the exquisite, melt-in-your-mouth short rib, but everything was wonderful. A definite place to return to when we're next in Estes Park!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, wait staff and service. Food was excellent. Had the fig burger and their burgers are AMAZING!

Jim H.

Yelp
Stopped late on a Sunday evening and sat at the bar. Had a great conversation with Becky (bartender). Enjoyed our draft beers and an order of the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. Quiet bar area was a plus.

Nancy U.

Yelp
Tucked away with a speakeasy vibe, this spot is a true hidden gem. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate, perfect for conversation without the usual restaurant noise. The menu is creative and well thought out, offering something for everyone without feeling overwhelming. What really sets this place apart, though, is the bar. The cocktail program is outstanding, and the bartender is a master at his craft--every drink feels like it's been designed just for you. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, exceptional drinks, outstanding customer service and a relaxed yet stylish setting, this is it.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere. Awesome servers. Get the Herb Roasted Chicken Thighs, you'll thank me. Best dinner in Estes Park!
