The action follows a March 20 picket outside Meta’s headquarters and comes as Unite Here Local 2 members negotiate with Flagship, the company that provides meals, beverages, and cleaning services; cooks like Jordan Hill, a prep cook at Meta San Francisco employed by Flagship, say they desperately need a raise — Hill lives in one room with her spouse and daughter at her in-laws’ house and sometimes skips meals so her daughter can eat.
