Me and The Hubs come here occasionally for a mid-week 'date night' and always have had a good time. We've been here at least a dozen times over the past few years so I'm surprised I haven't reviewed them yet.
Anyway, most recently we started with drinks (martinis and a bottle of wine) and the Calamari appetizer. They mix a nice martini and have a very good wine list, as well. The calamari was very tasty despite there not being any tentacles in the mix (that's the best part, imho). For entrees, we both ordered the Seared Scallops (seared U8 scallops, ancho corn cream risotto, shaved asparagus, crispy chorizo, toasted pepitas) and shared an order of Charred Broccolini. Wowza, was everything good! I hope they keep that scallops entree on the menu forever. It was fab!
Our server was friendly and efficient (I wish I remembered his name), and the restaurant itself is very good for a date-night. The overall look of the restaurant is nice, but also casual. They have outdoor seating for nice weather, but some of the tables are a bit too close to the street for my taste.
There have been previous visits where my first choice for an entree was unavailable (maybe sold out?) and I was bummed out, but even on those occasions my second choices still made me happy.
