Where to Drink Guinness in Denver This Holiday Season | Eater

"Don’t let its strip-mall locale fool you — Parker Pour House might be wedged between a nail salon and a neighborhood Chinese joint, but it has more than 20 craft beers and beverages from near and far on tap, including Guinness. The bar has a menu of hearty pub fare including snacky favorites like pretzel bites, pimento cheese, charcuterie boards, and sandwiches, and hosts regular events like trivia nights, live music, and game day specials — perfect for a holiday season hang with friends. Parker Pour House even tops its Guinness pints with foam art depicting the brand’s famous John Gilroy tortoise." - Rebecca Treon

If you're looking for a fantastic spot to unwind, this place is a must-visit! With an awesome and unique beer/sour/seltzer selection, including a few great non-alcoholic options, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is enhanced by TVs showing games and playing good music, making it a lively yet relaxing vibe. The food is top-notch, with sandwiches, gyros, and cheese bread that are simply elite. Plus, they offer fun table games that are perfect for groups. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the beer selection. Don't miss out on this amazing experience--come back soon!

Loved this place! The atmosphere was great and the music selection had a good vibe. I tried the Local Light beer and my hubs had a few different ones. Also, tried the classic charcuterie board and thought the price to food ratio was good. I will definitely be back and recommend the place!

This place is very close to our house so we wanted to pop in. There is no liquor but they have beer and seltzers and a lot of TVs. We got the Gyro and the Big Papa. The gyro wasn’t great and was extremely messy. The big papa, however, was perfect. If we go back, I’ll get that sandwich over and over and over again. We also got the cheese bread which was just meh. It def tasted like it was frozen and just heated up for the table. I know their kitchen is pretty small so not sure how the other food is. I think this is a great place if you want to get a beer and watch a game but not necessarily a good dinner spot. We may come back and try a charcuterie and watch a game. We will give it another shot just with different expectations this time!

Visited for the first time, tried both food and drinks. Bar staff were friendly. Enjoyed all the beverages I tried, there’s a good variety. Food was good and well-priced, better to come when your hunger is at a light level as the food is just enough to keep you going. When we came in my friend snagged one of the open spots, it seems popular around dinner time. All told this is one of the best brew places I’ve been in a while. I can easily recommend it!

A well rounded beer selection of excellent brews from all over the country. Incredible food and generous portions for great prices. The place is rad and folks here are welcoming and know their stuff when it comes to the offerings on tap.

Had a huge traffic jam on the to the springs so good off the highway and couldn’t turn around so followed the road to Parker. After the headache I stop for a break and saw the bar and figured a beer was needed. I wa she only one there and the 2 guys we cool and offered samples and had a good conversation about sports and college and camping. I felt very welcome and as it picked up they still checked on me and you could also see that the regulars also appreciated the vibes there. I only stayed for 2 but it was a great experience largely because of the guys working Friday midday! They had alot of beers to select feom and the ones I tasted were all pretty damn good! Wonderful mishap I would call that trip! If I am in that area again I will for sure stop! On a Side note: Food looked good but I didn’t have any.

This was my first time here and I have to ask myself, why have I not been here yet before?! I absolutely love tap houses! They are such a great way to explore so many different types and styles of beers from everywhere! I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in! I was greeted right away and when I told the bartender I lived close by and this was my first time in, he immediately Welcomed me and started asking what beers I like! That's some great service! From there he gave me a taster of the Pineapple Velvet beer and, I absolutely loved it! I said I'd be back after buying some groceries and, I had to go back! The place itself is very clean and the atmosphere was awesome and relaxing! You do need to wear a mask indoors until you get to your table. There is hand sanitizer available as well. The staff is great, very friendly! The bathrooms are clean and organized! They do have a large patio, and it's right next to South Garden Inn II but don't let that fool you, Parker Pour House does have the patio! They also serve really good food ranging from charcuterie boards to sandwiches! Tonight they had a live band called Shady McCree which we enjoyed very much! We got to meet the owner, Aaron, and that was also really cool! Definitely come check this place out, have a few beers and come to the upcoming events they have, trust me, you'll have a great time drinking good beer and eating good food!

My wife and I were out on a Sunday afternoon, and after not eating all day, decided on somewhere new where we could get a beer. This place has a friendly "neighborhood " bar atmosphere, Ben, came over and greeted us and helped with the menu and beers on tap once we informed him it was our first time. This is a beer spot, so it's not a place where you should expect a huge menu. The food menu is short but offers a variety of options from Pretzel Bites to Charcuterie Boards to a variety of sandwiches. We both decided on the Sandwich of the Month (the rueben - March 2023). The sandwich was good but not great. Not what you expect for a rueben. Served on a sandwich roll. Thin on pastrami and no sauerkraut. I think the thousand island was mixed with a cheese sauce? Pastrami was a little dry at times as well. Sandwiches are served with individual bags of chips with a few options to choose from. Onto the beer. I tried the Sweetwater IPA. This IPA had a good hoppiness to it with a slight sour/tart finish. Overall, a good IPA. The wife tried the Bristol Brewing Laughing Lab Scotish Ale. This also had good flavor with a dry and slightly sweet finish. Impressed by the service and atmosphere. We will definitely return!

Yelp
Service was great. Nice guy running the place and friendly locals. Good hot sauces to purchase to go.

Yelp
This isn't the spot for a fancy dinner--it's a bar with bar food, but not the usual burgers, wings, and hot dogs. I don't think they even have a grill or stove. That said, the sandwiches are fire and I'd definitely recommend them. We tried the pretzels (straight out of the Costco box, but still tasty) and the corn elote, which was basically just a tortilla with corn and sauce. Drinks were solid--seltzers are super good, and the piña colada is a must-try. Service was friendly and efficient. Lots of TVs everywhere, so it's a great hangout spot on game day.

Yelp
The wife and I took our adult daughter and her two little ones on Sat afternoon. The server/bartender was great. Even dealing with our grand kids. We went two weeks ago finding the place using google and returned. What a gem. We ordered the charcuterie board, cheesy bread and pretzel bites. All was great. On both of these midafternoon Saturdays the place was slow and reserved. We liked that. I'm sure it becomes more lively toward evening. You should go.

Yelp
Kinda of a dive. Empty for the most part with a few guys drinking beer at the bar at 11 in the morning. I looked around and left.

Yelp
Staff is always phenomenal and kind. Great food and snacks! Lots of TV's to watch the games. I love popping in to this small town feeling place!

Yelp
This group pub has an amazing selection as well as good eats the SOTM saint of the month is always a hit and they have other snacks too plus the service is friendly and quick. Never had a bad experience and also Wednesdays is trivia night. Always a good time.!!

Yelp
Really good food. Went for a meal with the family and everyone loved the quality and portions

Yelp
A good selection of brews and bites, I wouldn't pick Parker Pour House if I was expecting to have a full meal ,(though they do have some sandwich offerings) but it's a great options for drinks and a snack. It was very busy on the Saturday evening we stopped in with very limited seating, but with a mix of smaller tables and larger community seating they accommodated everyone. The selection was good with a variety of different beers and wines at different size options and reasonable prices to match.

Yelp
Rarely will you find exceptional beer at a local brewery and typically, a brewery won't have food (or at least good food). That fact makes this place a unicorn with good selections for each.

Jimmy M.

Yelp
The owner is a class act! The food and beer there is amazing! The next time, I stop in Parker, Colorado I'm definitely making this my normal destination.

Yelp
One of our favorite "go to" spots in Parker. We know we'll always have a good time - we love the food, we love the always changing variety of beer on tape, we love the atmosphere, and adore all the staff. If you happen to be there when Dee Dee's green chili is available, don't skip it.
google avatar

Leslie P.

Yelp
Awesome beer selection. They make this yummy margarita as well. The corn flatbread is really good. They make their own hot sauces and have at least 4 different flavors. So good!!

Yelp
First time in tonight for a drink and appetizer. Nothing fancy but food and drinks were good. We didn't stay long as there was live music being set up (not our vibe) but would be a good place to chill, drink and listen to music if you like that. We will go back.

Nate K.

Yelp
Super cool place! I'm from California and we have a spot called board & brew I go to often. This felt like a hometown version of it which was super refreshing! Friendly staff, good sandwiches, great selection of brews. Thank you for the legendary hospitality! I will be back!

Yelp
Great selection of beers. Tried the Margarita Gose and the German Pilsner, among some others. Very laid back, casual atmosphere. Lots of tvs for sports watching. Good snacks. Recommend for casual drink.

Yelp
We love this place! The beer is great and the atmosphere is always fun. We've had great service every time we've been here and it's consistently a good experience.

Lucia S.

Yelp
Small place in a strip mall that has decent beers on tap and offers sake from Denver Sake Co. They don't brew anything here and have a very simple menu of sandwiches that looked decent from what we saw (we didn't eat). Place had a decent crowd on a Friday afternoon and the guy behind the bar was super organized, kept up and very friendly. We'll be back!

Yelp
The food, the service, and the ambiance were what we needed this afternoon! Tyler was great, the drinks were tasty and the food was far from what we expected in the most pleasant way! We are so excited that we found this gem literally right outside our neighborhood :)

Yelp
Have stopped here a few times for lunch. Great sandwiches. (Love the "Not so boring bird" sandwich) Had it toasted and so so good. Great beers too. Service was great. Very personable.

Yelp
Great beer, great food, great people! Casual and laid back with a nice atmosphere. You can watch a game on TV or enjoy the patio.

Bart D.

Yelp
Been here a few times recently. Great rotating beer selection, friendly staff and the sandwiches on menu are really good
google avatar

Jami T.

Yelp
Great hidden gem! Fun selection of rotating beers, wonderful staff, and cozy atmosphere. We love their charcuterie boards. I would come here twice as often if they had a larger food selection. That is the only thing preventing a 5 star rating. Overall, we love coming here and will continue to stop in for a beer!

Yelp
Great beer selection. Chill vibes. Mediocre sandwiches... I'd definitely come back but I wish there was more effort put into the food. I'll try something different next time.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a beer or two. Staff is excellent and the beer selection is varied and interesting. Beertenders keep up on the sports and have the current games going. Check it out!

Danny G.

Yelp
Best place to drink beer in Parker! The place always has new and tasty beers and the atmosphere is unbeatable. The service is also a huge plus!

Patty B.

Yelp
Local gem with a diverse, frequently updated tap list. Great atmosphere, great service, friendly staff. They have a small menu if you are hungry- I highly recommend the roast beef sandwich. The Pour House is our favorite place for a beer in Parker.

Kenneth S.

Yelp
Good food, great beer selection, terrible atmosphere! Saturday afternoon on the patio was taken over by a youth soccer team totally out of control with adult supervision that were oblivious to the situation. If you want a zoo this is it. Last time I go there!
