"Parker’s Garage opened in 2016 in Beach Haven, and it’s located right by the marinas, which will have you wondering if the fish came from the boat that’s parked right next to you. We’ve enjoyed things like Nashville hot fried oysters and roasted tilefish here, but if it’s available, try the chef’s tasting. You won’t know what you’ll be eating until it’s in front of you, but bet on having some super-fresh seafood that was probably caught that morning." - alison kessler, regan stephens, matt tervooren, tonya russell

Okay, to give you my honest opinion, the best thing that you can get there is the lobster corn dogs. They were very good. Everything else, was very overpriced for the quality of the food, even the fries came out cold as if they had been sitting out on the table for a week. They did bring some new fries and they were good. But for the price that you were paying to be there, there should be no exception to that because it wasn't just one order, it was 2 that was this way. The rest of the food, the surf and turf-tasted like a pot roast out of a Campbell soup can. And just so you know, it is very hard to write this review when you were going there to celebrate birthdays of 2 people, their children were taking us all here to enjoy ourselves. I actually hope and pray they don't read this because the food was actually that bad. But on the bright side, the company and the camaraderie and the service was excellent. My suggestion---fire your cook ---your prices certainly do not reflect the quality of food that we've gotten. I promise you if it wasn't for the special occasion that we were there, that meal would not have been paid for and just so you know the tip alone was over a $100 so that shows you what type of meal that we all ordered. My suggestion, until they change their cook and prices go to Chick-fil-A and buy a meal for the whole youth football team or boxing team-then you'll get your money's worth. But on a serious note, it was actually highway robbery for cold food. It nearly ruined a great experience. But the company still made it a very pleasant evening. The atmosphere was helpful also because it was a great and there was a great view. I hope and pray that they can correct their flaws and see that it's more about the quality, then the money. But in this world and time, it's all about the money. So take my advice, find a more appreciative place to go. Have a blessed day. Ps The dishes that we had are not listed below. So, see the picture hopefully you can make out the menu

Good food in a casual Shore setting. A bit noisy because it’s a large open room. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The entrées were good, but less impressive and the quantity small for the price We came early on a Saturday and parking was easy to find, but I imagine it can get difficult during peak hours. Wait staff were excellent and attentive. They were knowledgeable and able to answer questions about the food. The grilled octopus appetizer was good and presented on a skewer. It was not great, but that level is hard to find compared with that which we’ve had in Athens or Hobart Tasmania. The calamari appetizer was awesome. I’m not quite sure how they seasoned it, but in my mind, it would be a blend of harissa and aïoli. I would recommend ordering this. It was not too spicy and everyone at the table was able to indulge. The shrimp appetizer, in my estimation, was the least impressive. The fish and chips entrée was “OK“. It was made with swordfish. The two patties were very consistent and thin about 3/8 of an inch. Suspect they are commercially prepared with such consistency. While I prefer typical codfish fish and chips, it was a reasonable variation , although I would not order it again. The french fries were good some herbs to flavor them.

I expected sooooo much from Parker's Garage, given the positive reviews that I'm always reading on the Long Beach Island Bites Facebook page. But we were not impressed. Our server brought water and an ice bucket for our wine right away. We asked if there were any specials, she said no, and did not note any unavailable items at that time. When we tried to place the appetizer order, we were told we needed to order appetizers and entrees all right now, which was off putting. We opted for the "famous" tuna crackers and duck buns to start. My husband ordered fried chicken, with sides of Mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts, and I ordered swordfish Milanese. About 10 minutes after we ordered, our server came back and told my husband there was no chicken. Unfortunately, he didn't like most of the other entrees. It would have been much better to be informed of this up front, or at least right after ordering, as we probably would have left. He picked the scallops with "bacon" (pork belly). We received our appetizers. I dove into the tuna crackers - tuna is my favorite appetizer, and I order it everywhere I go. This was easily the WORST tuna appetizer I've ever had. It had a strong and overwhelming citrus flavor, and the chunks of tuna were mixed with mashed avocado. It was a visual mess. I don't know how people are out there singing the praises of this dish. I would never recommend it to my worst enemy. I don't know if we just got a bad plate of it, or this is the norm and people who eat here just accept mediocrity. The duck buns tasted fine. But they were still...odd. I fully expected shredded or chopped duck, topped with pickles and hoisin. Instead, they formed the duck into a bizarre patty and breaded and fried it. It felt like something you'd get at a fast food restaurant like a filet o fish patty, but with duck. There were not pickles, there was something pickled that was pink (possibly radish? It didn't taste like pickled onion), but the menu description should be more accurate. Entrees and sides...Let's start with the visual of my husband's scallops. Why on earth are they covering scallops with a layer of dry/undressed frisee and greens? As he ate it, he also found the scallops could have been seared better, and the pork belly was not fully rendered. Some was inedible. The sides were terrible. They were originally selected to go with the fried chicken entree, so it was already a mismatch. The Mac and cheese had a THICK layer of congealed cheese on top. The Mac and cheese itself was bland and uninspiring, and I left the gross top cheese on my side plate. The brussel sprouts were burned to the point of tasting bitter. I did not taste any of the honey mustard vinaigrette that was supposedly on them. We ate a couple, but they were not good enough to keep eating them, The swordfish Milanese was plated terribly and tasted worse. It was in a bowl where I wasn't able to even get in to cut it. The fish was extremely overcooked and dry as a bone. The "tomato salad" on top was dry tomatoes and onions. It didn't have the juiciness a regular tomato would have, never mind any dressing or moisture whatsoever. Dry salad on dry fish with dry pieces of basil on top. The whipped avocado was piped on like it was buttercream frosting in little bits, it had no flavor and was visually unappealing. There was no basil aioli to speak of. It may have been in the corn underneath the fish, but it was desperately needed on the dry fish and vegetables. The corn was cold and was not a good match for the fish. I waited...and waited...and waited...for our server to come back, so I could tell her I didn't like my entree. She finally came over, and wanted me to order something else, but I said that would have been a fine solution 20 minutes ago, but not at this point. She asked if we wanted to wrap the sides, I said no they weren't good, and she took them away. She came back and had taken the swordfish off the bill, rightfully so, but did not remove the sides. We spent $106 plus tip, and I still had to come home and eat dinner. Not a win.

Incredible food and that sunset!!! This was recommended by our waitress who works at another high-end LBI restaurant for years, and she was on the mark. Definitely get a reservation because there were people waiting and there is a lot of hustle and bustle, but the sunset is absolutely fantastic. We had octopus three times while on the island and this was far and away the best. Perfectly melt in your mouth prepared with a nice roasted char, which is a skill and an art. Served in a divine poblano yogurt marinated cucumber sauce. If you order that absolutely order a side of brussels sprouts with it as an appetizer and use the sauce on the brussels sprouts as well. We had a half lobster which was stuffed with the crabcake and served with scallops and shrimp as well as the blackened grouper. Both were very good, but if I would go back, I would skip the grouper and try the black bass or some of their other fabulous dishes. And absolutely divine was a chocolate cheesecake with miso and coconut. I’ve been baking one blueberry dessert with miso and it does something that makes the dessert over the top with Unami goodness. I will be searching the Internet to try to figure out how I can make this delicious chocolate cheesecake as well. Staff was lovely. There is a lot of hustle and bustle.

Phenomenal food done just right. Good selection with a few high end options. Price reasonable especially for the combo meal. Potatoes great. Corn amazing. Ashley, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable and professional. Lovely balance. Several tables with large parties. The staff seemed to manage quite well. The only down side was the host staff. We were a few minutes late and they made sure to tell us we had to be out by a certain time 😒. Otherwise, highly recommend this restaurant.

We just cannot say enough good things about Parker’s Garage. We go every season now, multiple times. The service is impeccable. The food is creative and delicious. The oyster selection is great. The dessert options are always unique and so worth it. This last time we got the ginger cream puff with dark cherries, omg out of this world! We have never had a bad meal, table, or service experience here. The perfect sunset dinner to cap out our beach days.

Great service. Food was excellent. Fried chicken sellsmout early. The steak fries was very peppery, but everything else was excellent. Cracker tuna was delicious. They take allergies very serious. Great views on the bay

We had dinner here on a Saturday. Made a reservation ahead of time. The service was attentive and friendly. BYOB. Our favorites was the seafood combo, cornbread and mac/cheese.

Yelp
Parker's has got it going on. Great view and tasty food. Although portions are modest and prices competitive. Grilled octopus appetizer was so good we asked for a second serving. Rock shrimp, bouillabaisse and tile fish all good. Olive oil cake with peach ice cream finished the meal off very nicely. Atmosphere is lively and action packed. One thing that I wish Parker's would consider is not seating parties larger than 6 or 8. A table of about 20 really elevated the noise level and devalued the gorgeous view. Service was friendly and efficient despite our sever oddly having a couple of snarky, sorta passive aggressive, comments. Reservations are an absolute must.

They were originally selected to go with the fried chicken entree, so it was already a mismatch. The Mac and cheese had a THICK layer of congealed cheese on top. Someone else wrote about this in their review, and I should have listened to them. It was not melty or good, and it was hard to hack through to get to the actual Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese itself was bland and uninspiring, and I left the gross top cheese on my side plate. The brussel sprouts...I'll start by saying I love Brussels sprouts and will roast them in the oven until they get brown and crispy. These, however, were burned to the point of tasting bitter. I did not taste any of the honey mustard vinaigrette that was supposedly on them. I took a scoop but did not finish it, my husband ate a couple. We left the side dish mostly untouched. The corn was cold and was not a good match for the fish. I waited...and waited...and waited...for our server to come back, so I could tell her I didn't like my entree. There were maybe only 12 full tables at the time. I watched her chat with someone else working at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes, and not sure where she was the rest of the time - not at our table or other tables that I could see. So when my husband had finished eating, the bus boy tried to clear the whole table, and I had to tell him not to, so our server could see what we didn't eat. She finally came over, I told her I didn't like my entree. She wanted me to order something else, but I said that would have been a fine solution 20 minutes ago, but not at this point. Yelp
Parker's Garage has lost its appeal doesn't really seem to be worth it anymore. It had been a couple years since my last visit (which was great) but this time around the menu was lackluster and too similar to the other restaurants in the TT Group. My biggest issue with PG (and lately all of the Tide Table restaurants) is that their Oyster selection is heavily focused on local oysters. I think that's great to support local aquaculture and all but, unfortunately, the local oysters just aren't very good. In fact, they're pretty lousy and it's quite a disappointment to go to a restaurant with "oyster" in its name that specializes in New Jersey oysters. But maybe thats just my opinion.

Natty C.

Yelp
10/10 everything I had was amazing. Perfect setting right on the water. This is my favorite place in LBI. I can't stop raving about it. BYOB is even better!

Lauren T.

Yelp
Awesome BYOB restaurant right on the water, near bird and Betty's. The whole restaurant has a beautiful view of the sunset. Make a reservation, though- it gets packed every night in the summer. We had an array of items but loved the roasted octopus and the eggplant salad for appetizers. For entrees, our favorite was the oysters and bacon. We liked the halibut but it was a bit dry and the crab cakes had too much filler. The steak was low quality and I would not recommend, as they are primarily a seafood restaurant. Overall, great spot for a dinner with friends and family with unmatched views.

Kerry B.

Yelp
First of all, Parker's Garage is an EXPERIENCE, not just a restaurant. We've been coming since it opened as our special night out each summer, and every waiter we've had has made it such an elite dining experience - walking us through the menu, sharing recommendations, etc. The entryway is a bit tight which can be awkward if you're waiting for a table, but otherwise the atmosphere inside is amazing! The chowder croquettes and hamachi (even if you don't like raw fish - just try it!) are must-gets.

Tejaswini R.

Yelp
We went there to try out their oysters and it did not disappoint us. Definitely try them. Ambiance - Relaxed ambiance with rustic decor, waterfront views, and a casual, beachside charm. Service - Was great. No complaints. They are very accommodating. Parking - Available

Ally F.

Yelp
PLEASE BRING BACK THE WHOLE FISH! In my opinion it's what made PG stand out from other LBI restaurants, best item in the menu!!

Sandi C.

Yelp
Wonderful experience. food was phenomenal. Honestly though had to book out a month in advance for this reservation, was very much so worth it but really wish it could've been two weeks instead. Again very worth it! Great service, very pretty ambiance.

Mike C.

Yelp
Omg what great dinner. This place is so good. Thanks to them for letting us dine because I messed up my reservation. Everything was perfect so fresh and so much flavor. Great service. This place is ran so professional. Tip my Hat to them. This is a must go on the island.

Terri C.

Yelp
I've been waiting to come here for several years but it's really hard to get in unless you have a reservation, which you need far in advance. I'm so glad we finally got to try this place. The food is really good if you like seafood. For starters, we ordered the kettle shrimp. The texture of the crunch is what makes this delicious. The complimentary bread is hot and soft, served with sweet butter. It reminds me of sweet Hawaiian bread. My entree was one of the fish dishes. I can't remember if it was grouper or halibut but it was very good. It was cooked to perfection, neither overcooked nor undercooked. Great texture, great flavor, very fresh. You get a choice of sauce and I opted for the citrus blanc which paired very well with the fish. Other entrees we got were the seafood combo- also really delicious. There is a kid's menu - helpful if your kids don't like seafood. My kid opted for the snow crab legs and it came with a good sized portion. We ordered the mac and cheese to share and it was rich and creamy. It was tasty but if you make Mac and cheese at home (not the boxed kind), it's not too different. For me, if I come here, I'd prefer to try something new and different. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake. It was so good, moist and chocolatey. The slice was huge too so make sure you share!

Cookie B.

Yelp
Gave Parkers Garage another try. I got the Steak Frites and the cut of meat was hangar. It was tough and chewy and it had a fibrous tendon running through it. It was impossible to cut with the steak knife. If you can't even cut it with a knife how do you expect anyone to eat it?! I should have taken a photo of the inside of the steak but I was so disappointed that I failed to. I let the server know how bad the steak was but they didn't do anything about it.

Yelp
Been on the island for decades and when i was little, i started out at the ship bottom shellfish - which is where the owner started i think. Have not tried this and bird and Betty's which also looks good and is across the street. We started with the single tier tower and an additional shrimp cocktail. Everything was good and fresh. One complaint would be that the shrimp was a little overcooked. Would have preferred them to be like poached or just barely done so that they are just oh so tender. It was good but could have been a bit better. Table next to us got the octopus. Definitely something to get - looked very good. Service was very good. Not overly on top of you but still very attentive and suggestive. Ambiance is rather accurate in the other photos of this place. Looking out into the bayside. All good. They do not have a liquor license but you can buy from next door - bird and Betty but you're going to pay bar prices, not liquor store prices so dont forget the wine like I did. The menu in general was quite impressive. So easy to do the fried, broiled regular stuff but there was a bit more sophistication on their menu. Oh, one other thing - other than fried chicken and a strip steak, I don't think there was anything else that was non-seafood as an entry. So, if you're not thinking about seafood, you may not be happy here. Fine for me but just a note.

Rod A.

Yelp
Food was great and so was our service. We reserved a table early to avoid the rush and sat near the water.

Bon T.

Yelp
Food excellent, food service a little slow, but it was a Saturday busy night in summer. Will definitely go again. Food was great. Favorite was clam chowder croquettes!

Marlene D.

Yelp
Where to begin. We wanted to love this place so much but we didn't. The ambiance is lovely and the service was great but the food was average. We are foodies and know what good food is. We ordered a bunch of appetizers so we can try a lot of items. The lobster corn dogs were not great. We got 3 small pieces and the lobster was overcooked. The New England chowder croquetes were absolutely horrible. They were mushy and looked and tasted like throw up. The calamari had this red sauce all over it which was not good. The Mac and cheese would have been better if there wasn't an inch of a hardened cheese layer on top. That was the only decent thing. The banana pudding for dessert was so runny it dripped off the spoon. It's a shame because the flavor was good. We would not be back to this place. Just go to the best restaurant on the island.....Wally's! Sorry Parker

Sharon R.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant a number of times, and the food in the past was excellent. This time it was terribly disappointing. The lobster with broccoli was actually lobster with broccoli rabe, and the taste was awful. I hardly tasted the lobster at all, under all the sourness of broccoli rabe. Even the mashed potatoes were cold. I am sorry I ordered this meal. The service, however, was excellent.

Amanda N.

Yelp
Wow, what a delicious meal! Went with 4 of my friends and we all brought wine. Our waitress quickly provided us with ice so our wine could chill. Every part of our meal was delicious. We got the clam chowder croquettes, tuna crackers, tater tots, eggplant mousse. I think my favorite appetizer was the croquettes and tater tots. For dinner i got the fried chicken which was a HUGE portion and sooo good. Ambiance was nice, you could see the sunset from where we were sitting. It was crowded though so you definitely need a reservation.

Siobhan S.

Yelp
The food was tasty but limited options for children's menu. After ordering the waitress returned to our table and told us they have a "$30 per adult food minimum" and asked if we wanted to order more food so she didn't "have to charge us for food we aren't eating". Perhaps this is a policy- we couldn't find it anywhere on the menu or website. We did acquiesce and order two more items and she let us know that still wasn't enough but she would "let it slide." Bizarre policy.

Deb K.

Yelp
Sorry to say, Parkers Garage and the new "nightclub" next-door, are owned by the same people, and the music is so loud that it ruined Parker's garage for us- we couldn't have a conversation without shout While the food has always been good, and the service has always been strong, we don't know if we will ever go back.

Lauren P.

Yelp
Visited Parker's Garage last night and it did not disappoint. Everything was so good! We got the tuna crackers, the kettle shrimp, the green tomato tots and I personally had the halibut from the Garage Classics. The Iberico was also a hit at our table. The service was great and our waitress gave us really good recommendations! The views from our table were so nice as we watched the sunset as we ate dinner.

William B.

Yelp
This was the best meal that I have had in a long time. I was on vacation and my friend made a reservation for Parker's. The setting is beautiful - right on the bay - watched the sun set, just amazing. We ordered a few appetizers - try the tuna crackers - and then got our meals. Despite being full when we got there, the waiter was attentive and the food arrived quickly, but not too fast. My tuna steak dinner was outstanding, and my wife had the scallops with bacon - hands down the best scallops I've ever had. They literally melted like butter in your mouth. Its BYO so pack your coolers.

Vivian R.

Yelp
We went here last night with a group of 13 and they were very accommodating! We sat in their outdoor section, which had the covers down because it was pouring prior to us arriving. The room was extremely loud and you could really only here the people right next to you and across from you. The staff, especially our waitress, Jenna was very friendly and patient! I didn't take pictures of everything since there were tons of dishes because we ordered multiple appetizers and entrees. For appetizers, we had the lobster corn dogs, calamari, twin screw, and Kettle shrimp. Everything was really good! I really enjoyed the calamari and kettle shrimp from the appetizers we had. Lots of people from our party were raving about the lobster corn dogs as well! My salmon was cooked perfectly and the sauce that was recommended by our waitress, was amazing! The Mac and cheese was a side dish and it was massive! I was able to share it with anyone who wanted to try it. The Mac and cheese was very creamy and tasty! Everyone really enjoyed their meals here and we were so appreciative of how accommodating Parker's was!

John C.

Yelp
Good food and great ambiance. Nice view of the bay. Tuna cracker is great. Bring back the old tomatoe tartine - it was the best! Kettle shrimp is good. Need a few more may options but always a good meal.

Carly S.

Yelp
YOU WILL NOT REGRET! This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and let me tell you- it did not disappoint. Came here on MDW with a group of 10 and was obsessed! Our waitress (Kelly) was amazing and so on top of her stuff which made the experience even better. The food was AMAZING and very reasonably priced. The ambiance is awesome as it's indoors/outdoors and so bright. We loved that it was BYOB and definitely will be back.

steve g.

Yelp
This has been one of our favorite go to places on the bay with a nice outdoor vibe. However, I was really let down by our two trips this year. I used to love their paella, but it's not what it used to be. A few years ago, the dish was full of flavor and packed with fresh seafood. This time, it was bland, small (4 clams and a small chunk ofmonkfish) and the seafood tasted rubbery and overcooked. The overall quality has clearly dropped, and their prices have gone through the roof ($42 for the small paella dish) It's disappointing to see such a decline--definitely won't be returning.

One of the better places in LBI. Portion sizes are good. If you order 3-4 appetizers for 4 people, you'll be satisfied. But apps plus entrees is way overboard. We had the fried green tomatoes app but wasn't a fan. Service is always good and wait staff knowledgeable with menu. BYOB is a bonus.

Yelp
When in Beach Haven , this is a popular one. You must make reservations( if you're vacationing, you can reserve weeks ahead) or you won't have a chance to get in, that being said.. If you don't cancel your Res , they will charge you! The food is good, ( if you're vegan, there's basically nothing on the menu ,)the portions hearty, a varied menu.It is also BYOB It is able to accommodate large groups, and it's what we saw on this given day The noise level is off the charts( like a school cafeteria). If that's an issue for you, bear that in mind. Also parking can be very challenging, so be sure to leave with enough time( you might be circling the lot a couple of times) The Sunsets are picture worthy.

Yelp
Love it here! Food is always delicious! It's hard to get a reservation so we always sit at the raw bar! Best place to sit IMO!

Yelp
Great food and a great location. The prices were a little high for the shared items and you only get one of some. We ordered the crab cakes - plural- and got one.

Yelp
We ate here this evening and arrived at 415 for appetizers before seeing a show at surf light theatre at 6pm. We sat and ordered and after taking our order our waitress came back to our table to tell us they have a $30 minimum for orders policy. How embarrassing for her and for us. We kindly ordered more food (which was amazing) but we will not be back, ever. We often dine in LBI and with so many choices why return to such a rude waitress. For reference her name was Kayla C.

Yelp
By far our favorite restaurant in LBI. Food from the tide table group is always on point and the service is 5 stars all around.

Yelp
Went to Parker's again last night. First time of the 2023 season. Never disappoints! Our waiter was Patrick. He was so informative. All the questions we asked he had an answer to right away. We knew exactly what to expect with our meals. We got tuna crackers, raw oysters. The entrees were delicious! Never fails.

Yelp
Food - 5 stars. Our server - 5 stars. Experience - 0 stars. We enjoyed the food and service, but the manager on duty this past Saturday needs to improve her decision-making skills. We were seated at a wonderful table on the edge of the dock, starting our meal, when a server came by and raised the shades, blasting us with sunshine to the point it was unbearably hot. We asked for the shade to be lowered but the staff said it was the managers decision. The manager defended her decision stating the "more than half the tables wanted the shades open" (we must've missed out on that survey). Rather than lower the shade they moved us to another table... 5 minutes later others complained about the sun-glare and they lowered all of the shades. The manager offered to move is back when a table reopened. We declined and she provided a gift card for the inconvenience. It was weird that the manager was so hell-bent on her original decision and dismissed our concern.

Yelp
Have eaten here the last few years we've visited LBI. Each year it's progressively gotten less enjoyable. For the price of the dishes the portions are very light. The overall experience in the restaurant was loud and annoying. Couldn't even hear the people sitting across from me. Kids crying, and even worse the chairs scraping on the floor when the staff cleaned up after a table was horrendous. I could feel the vibration in my seat. Not sure I will return here.

Yelp
Parker's is such a great spot for dinner on the island. Great location right on the bay, especially at sunset, with such a great view! Staff is always so friendly and the food is amazing. The sides of mac and cheese and brussel sprouts are a favorite and a must try! Reservations need to be made in advance but are well worth it!!

Yelp
Knowing how bad ratings hurt restaurants, I've given this 4 stars, but it is really closer to a 3. This restaurant has a ton of potential. Great location, great ambiance, really great service, but the food was very uneven. The salads, sides and appetizers were all amazing but some of the proteins (halibut and tuna) were really disappointing. These should have been the stars of the show, but they seemed like they were sitting around for a while and portions were very small when considering the price. We had a very late reservation during a busy holiday week, so perhaps it was just an off night, but a restaurant with the reputation of Parker's Garage shouldn't have an off night.....

Yelp
You need to stop looking for a nice restaurant on Reddit. Seriously. I know I'm a random guy. Just go here. Seriously, stop scrolling.

Yelp
Wow! What an amazing place for dinner! Absolutely loved the atmosphere, staff, and food selection! Amanda, was absolutely incredible and was so kind! I cannot wait to go back again!

Yelp
Really like the outdoor vibe on the bay. Great menu overall with lots of creative choices. Service is hit or miss but generally ok. Portion size has been reduced to morsels. You'll leave hungry. Poor value for money. And finally, I can never understand why the place is always half empty and people wait endlessly. If I were the owner I'd get a real manager in there who can fill the place up. It's bizarre. Lots of staff hang around and congregate in groups of 4 or 5 seemingly doing nothing. We used to go a lot but something is way off there now.

Yelp
Having heard good things about this place and checking out their menu online, we had looked forward to a special dinner costing about $300 for two people. On such special occasions, we typically enjoy first a glass of wine from a bottle of Cabernet and then leisurely working our way through a multi-course dinner. However, in making our reservation, we were informed that the restaurant has a 90-minute seating length policy. What a turn-off off! Although we might have finished within that time limit, and we understand why restaurants desire table turnovers, we did not want to feel rushed through an expensive dinner due to an in-out assembly-line consumption system. So, we canceled our reservation. If you don't mind eating within such a time constraint, perhaps you will find this place and its food enjoyable, as others have. However, if you prefer dining without any pressure to finish, then you might want to look elsewhere.

Yelp
I'm convinced my experience at this place was the result of mistakes I made surrounding what I ordered, and the time in which I dined here. Regardless, I expect the quality of any good dining establishment to remain consistent from opening to closing; so I have no other choice but to judge what was subject to my observations. My family and I went at 9:30 pm for dinner service. This meant that we dined probably as close to closing as possible, being one of the last customers to leave the establishment after dinner concluded. The ambiance as a whole was pleasant, with adequate lighting and a well-organized layout. The view I imagine is gorgeous during sunset, with the restaurant being bayside. My entourage was seated promptly after arrival and was on the receiving end of some great service from our competent waitress. That said, ambiance and service were pretty much flawless. For appetizers, we ordered Brussel sprouts and fried calamari - both of which were received positively by everyone. I am not fond of Brussel sprouts, but I see why those next to me liked them as much as they did: even I found them enjoyable. The fried calamari I found to be amazing - possibly the best fried calamari I have ever had. Each piece was crispy and had the perfect amount of heat from the chili vinaigrette. It is a way of serving calamari that conceptually made a lot of sense to me. I probably could have had an entire order of those and been perfectly content for the evening; but I set my sights on ordering an entrée, which unfortunately is where I ran Into serious conflicts that far outweigh the pleasure provided from everything else leading up to that point. Before getting into my order, I want to make a few side notes on what my entourage had ordered and their thoughts. The roasted broccoli Caesar salad, which I managed to try, was very good, along with the French fries, mac and cheese, the "Grouper," halibut, the "Combo," and the NY strip. I ordered grilled salmon with chimichurri and a side of roasted potatoes. Upon being served my food, without even taking a bite, I was greeted with an order so unprecedented it was inconceivable to process what I had received. This sounds like hyperbolized drama but I will explain further. The bottom of my salmon was incinerated - charred and solid black - which brought the scent of char the moment the plate reached my table. It was so severely burnt to the extent that the cooking team and the waitress should have noticed immediately. My best guess for the sudden disappearance of quality control was that it was near closing and appropriate due care was thrown out the window. Also note that the kitchen was closed after we received our orders. It was not like we could have a fresh piece of salmon put on the grill again. Accidents happen, so burnt food is not the odd component of my order. That belongs to the roasted potatoes, which arrived soon after my salmon. I knew that it came with crème fraîche, which I figured would be a tiny amount; but I was fatally mistaken, because I was served a dish overflowing with it, running over the edges of the serving platter. It took digging through with an oversized spoon to find my potatoes, swimming in a thick, white pool of thickened dairy. I was so dumbfounded from what I saw I decided to conduct some impromptu, spontaneous research to determine whether this is some popular style of serving roasted potatoes. It turns out that it is usually a tiny dollop of crème fraîche that is served, not a group of poor potatoes drowning in it. I tried getting as much of the crème fraîche out as possible, but nothing would have saved perfectly roasted and crispy potatoes from tasting absolutely disgusting by having an entire serving of crème fraîche in my mouth from a single bite. Serving potatoes like this is not only unusual - based on what I have researched - but is also unnecessarily wasteful and outright weird. WHY serve potatoes in such a grandiose and unconventional manner? There's so much crème fraîche! Has anyone ever cleaned their plate with this side? I am not even kidding when I say there was at least three-quarters of a cup of it on my plate - it was overflowing the dish. It was like my arteries were facing a hate crime. My salmon also came with the most insignificant and pathetic side salad. For $35, I expected much better from my entrée. If I do come back here, I will definitely be ordering neither the salmon nor the potatoes. I wasted my time and money. The fact that the calamari was so good is inconsequential to the way my experience was finished off. "It's not about how you start, it's about how you finish" is a motto that applies here. I left this place pissed and confused at the same time, having an irresistible urge to go on here and write this review. I should have left thinking about the calamari, but instead left thinking about my burnt salmon and the enigma that was my side. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

Yelp
Great location, great views. You must get a reservation (they use resy) to sit in the main area otherwise the walk in wait times are pretty long (2 hours for a party of 2 on a Monday night in August). Reservations and between 630-800 are ever more difficult because the main area overlooks the sunset. We instead sat in the saloon area which is first come first serve, has a little less ambience but still a great spot for 2. It's BYOB and wine or beer only. You save a little on the bar tab but the menu is on the pricier side so in all you'll land at about the same cost for a night out. Food is great. Everything was fresh tasting and prepared well with good ingredients. Service was attentive, maybe a little understaffed based on the pace folks were working at. But attentive and friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We had: Nashville Oysters - think Nashville hot chicken but with oysters. It was the best thing we had. It was creative, spiced nicely and the sauce and bread base held everything together. Oysters Rockefeller - very good. More breadcrumbs than I prefer but flavor was really good. I recommend a dash of hot sauce! Roasted Salmon - exceptional. Sauce was light but flavorful. Combo (crab cake stuff lobster tail, prawns, scallops) - good. Crab cake stuffing was excellent, Scallops were very good. Prawns were flavorful maybe a tad bit over cooked. Lobster half tail and claw were nice but definitely over cooked. This could have been an epic dish, but it was just "good". Mac n Cheese - gooey, baked crusted edges, good flavor. Broiled Brussels sprouts - well seasoned, nice bit of char and crunch. very good.

Yelp
I was not overly convinced that this place is a good addition to LBI. We got the fried chicken which was not bad and the the fried green tomato tots. We liked the randomness of a menu item like the tots. I enjoyed the tots but I feel like they could have been better. The lobster corn dogs were the best part of our meal. Must bring your own booze- they do not serve alcohol. The prices were a little high for what we got.

Yelp
Exceptional food and service. My wife and I had made reservation which highly recommend as they get quite busy. We were seated promptly and did not have to wait long for our food.

Yelp
Wow! This place blew me away. The seating area that is "indoor" but still provides air flow and feels practically outside. It made me feel like I was back to normal dining without having to compromise my safety (of course all the staff were wearing masks etc). The food was also fantastic. The appetizers/shares are HUGE portions and delicious! Two people could probably eat the disco fries as their meal and be full.

Yelp
Sodium Fuzion should be the name of this place. Super cool happenin spot but after my 3rd visit I finally realized the reason for not liking the food was not because I ordered the wrong dish. Everything I ever ordered is saltier than the last. Although the location and view is 10 stars, for how expensive it is, its really not worth waiting an hour and a half for really bad service, and a plate full of salt. I never leave less than perfect reviews with 1 visit. We visited 3 times, and every visit was worse than the last. Our 1st visit was a party off 15 for my daughters birthday and ended up being an absolute disaster. Not sure how in the world we ever went back.(my wife liked the view)Every waiter has the old if you don't like it oh well attitude because the place is jam packed.. In a nutshell, outside the ambiance, and the view. This place totally 100% sucks..

Yelp
Absolutely love the vibes of Parker's! Nothing beats sitting outside for dinner on a summer night. Our favorite part of our meal was definitely the appetizers- they were all great.

Yelp
Not a fan. Small menu and portions as well as the portions. Beautiful location and view, the only plus. I guess that's what your paying for. Very pricey. Won't be back
