Laurin

"In the magnificent setting of the exclusive Parkhotel Laurin, this restaurant is one of the best in Bolzano, boasting a Liberty-style dining room and tree-shaded tables in the garden for summer dining. The traditional cuisine also includes a few modern touches with ingredients and techniques from all over Italy and beyond, such as the grilled trout and leek terrine wrapped in nori algae in the shape of a flower. The menu features meat and fish dishes, with a small section dedicated to traditional local specialities." - Michelin Inspector

This hotel might just be the best I've ever stayed at. It's special beyond words and perfectly situated within its environment. The bar offers some of the most amazing cocktails, rivaling even the best in NYC, and the pool and sauna feel truly enchanting. The rooms are all unique and interesting, with no two seemingly alike. The bathroom in my room was, bar none, the best I've experienced in any hotel. However, it's the gardens and the way the hotel is placed in this city that truly make it sublime. It simultaneously feels like it's in the city center yet a world away—perfectly integrated into the city while being its own private oasis. Don't hesitate, book this place now. It's that incredible.

We visited Bolzano many years ago and thought it would be lovely to return, and in doing so wished to stay in the best hotel in town! and we certainly did. From the moment we arrived the staff were most attentive and helpful and this continued through our stay of five nights. The superior bedroom booked was very well appointed and had two comfortable arm chairs......which was important to us as we would want to relax at the end of the day. In so many high quality hotels there is so often only one comfortable chair in a room for two people!. The beds were very comfortable with high quality bedding and high quality towels in the bathroom....all changed at sensible intervals. Breakfast was exceptionally well organised with delicious food which was always well stocked. Full marks all round.

Beautiful bed linens and towels! The bed was very comfortable, I think that the pillow and mattress topper were in memory foam. The sheets and duvet cover were very soft, smooth and inviting. There were nice, thick towels as well as a full-sized bathrobe available in the closet. |My 5th floor single room had a window with a lovely view of the city and the mountains. The TV was discreetly in a corner above an electric kettle with a selection of teas and instant coffee. There were also two nice pieces of art on the walls. The room was very quiet and everything was spotlessly clean. |The bathroom was nicely arranged, the only thing it lacked was a bidet. I appreciated that the soaps and shampoo and hand cream were in refillable normal-sized containers rather than wasteful individual packets. Water in the shower was nice and hot. The hairdryer worked well and the make up/shaving mirror was at a good height.|There was plenty of storage for a single room, although the doors of the closets were a little bit difficult to open and noisy. Still, that's really a minor thing considering.|Price was definitely commensurate with value.|Beautiful terrace behind the hotel is a great place to enjoy an aperitivo in the afternoon.

We were very impressed with the Laurin Hotel, especially how well single guests are accommodated! The single rooms are just as comfortable and beautifully appointed as the double rooms, and even offer a lovely view, something that is quite rare. The bicycle storage is equally impressive, as can be seen in the pictures. We would have loved to stay longer to fully enjoy the relaxing resort atmosphere, the high-quality food & beverages, and the exceptionally friendly staff.

I had a fabulous stay at this property. I absolutely loved my room, super spacious, great views of the mountains and town, and even a steam room! The Thursday evening Aperitivo Hour is simply fantastic! What a great thing to look forward to on Thursdays. The property is lovely and has a beautiful garden in the back yard. The breakfast is good. There are so many things to do at this property and it is a 2 minute walk to the train station. The men at the front desk need more customer service training- they are not friendly. The girls are great!

As a hotel should be. very clean, beautiful rooms, great ambiance, friendly service, perfect locations, fantastic gardens. A perfect place to stay. Unfortunately we found that the room wasn't checked properly before we came, We found a half full bottle of wine under the bed, and empty tonic in the mini-bar, a piece of jewelry in one of the draws and the tissue box in the bathroom was empty. However, when we brought this to the attention of the staff, it was immediately taken care of an satisfactorly resolved. We ccan only assume this was a one-off as we know, other rooms in our group were immaculate. We would go to this hotel any time again. It made us feel absolutely at home and it was a delightful experience.

We spent four nights at the Parkhotel Laurin to end a two week vacation that started in Slovenia. The hotel room we had was furnished with a small couch along with a comfortable chair, writing desk and desk chair. The hotel restaurant was outstanding, we enjoyed several dinners there as well as breakfast each morning. Egg dishes such as scrambled, over-hard, omelets, etc., were cooked to order. The orange juice was made on the premises. The hotel is well situated for walking and shopping excursions through the city as well as for car trips. I traveled to the Dolomites for three days of hiking.

Large hotel with a somewhat upscale feel, friendly service, wonderful breakfast (great coffee!) and a vast outdoor area where you can enjoy food, drinks, music, a small pool and even a sauna (booking required). Good location for exploring Bolzano. There is an outdoor parking area across the street at a reduced rate when staying at the hotel. We had a comfortable room with a bathtub in the bathroom (room 420). On the negative side, annoying with somewhat loud music going on until midnight that you could hear from our room, not ideal when wanting to sleep. Also, wifi was a bit weak in the room, and you could hear people in the adjacent rooms quite well.

Yelp
We enjoyed a nice stay here. It is in a great location to walk to everything. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms had all amenities we needed.

Yelp
This hotel is a classic example of when aesthetics are valued over and above functionality. The amenities and surrounding scenery are easily accessible, given the hotel's proximity to all different modes of transportation. The views are amazing from the rooms. However, my AC unit was not working, which led to an uncomfortable sleep, coupled with noise from the hallways and rooms above. Also, when I asked for a cup of coffee at the breakfast bar, a staff member said to get coffee from my room. When I got to my room, I only found tea available. Apart from that, the stay was okay.
