Very friendly service and beautiful and comfortable decor but the signs for non member entry should be clearer on the outside. Also a half day pass option would be a cool idea. Food was fresh and delicious. Nice snacks and free beverages. Good for laptops and co-working.

Great space to start the workweek. Parkway Social is quiet, comfortable, and makes it easy to focus—especially if you’re used to working from home and need fewer distractions. Friendly, welcoming staff and excellent value. Free parking alone gives it an edge over many downtown co-working spaces, and having this option on the South Side is a huge plus. Ideal for remote professionals who want structure with the option for connection. Tough to beat.

Nothing but great vibes here! The staff are fantastic, the people are kind, the food is tasty, and the work space is incredible! The atmosphere is beautiful, chill, and inspires this creative to dial in and get good work done. I wish I’d found this space sooner! It feels like home.

Expensive. If one can afford it, a great option in the Bronzeville area. Chef Claude and Chef Kevin creates tasty dishes and the staff is very nice. These pictures are of the Art Gallery& BBQ patio that's across the street, also the ballroom, and and three other rooms in parkway that are accessable to the public. The owner owns both of these, the ballroom and the art gallery.

As the hostess of last night's LoveLuvv Sparkling wine ....I had a wonderful time and so much fun. The staff here is amazing😍😍😍the food is delicious and the fun never stops. Please go by and check this amazing establishment out. Additionally, LoveLuvv can be found in your local Binny's upon request, Stelios, Matteson Wine & Spirits.

Nice intimate space, full bar although didn't use. Upstairs was great for small event.

The facility was everything....But our party was epic

Exceptionally classy ambiance! Excellent and attentive service! Beautiful stage area! This is a beautiful, oasis of class nestled onto Bronzeville's historic King Drive community. One of the best, most beautiful venues for planned social functions in the city. Parking and valet available. Very highly recommended!

I went to a wedding here over the weekend, and I was surprised that I had never been here before! This is a lovely space. It has a nice entry way, large open banquet room that looked nice, and nice easy to find bathrooms. The food was really good. There were rolls, good basic salad, broccoli, roasted potatoes, tilapia, and a jerk like chicken. All of the food was good, none of it was dry or cold! The staff seemed really on top of things, and our water was refilled every time it got low!

I hate to write negative reviews, but this is warranted. I have been looking for a large event space in Chicago for a special event and learned of the Parkway Ballroom. I was especially interested in this space because it's black-owned and on the south side of Chicago. I don't live in town and of course wanted to see the venue in person before making a decision. It took an entire week to call me back after leaving two messages with a messaging service. I was no longer in town by the time I received a call back. When I finally received a call back a week later, a very rude person named Tennille (s/p) got angry at me because she asked for my e-mail address and I explained I am protective of my e-mail address and if I gave an e-mail, would I receive a response quicker. I was not rude in asking my question. My tone was pretty even as I take respecting others very seriously. She proceeded to tell me, "Ma'am, what we're not going to do is..." Pump the brakes. I'm considering spending upward of $10,000 and you can't answer a serious and simple question without being rude? No thank you. And what's worse is someone wrote a Yelp review about a similar experience with a person by the same name back in 2014 (it's probably the same woman) and I can't believe she still works there! After being rude to the host and their guests. Hard pass. All that to say, you may have a different experience with a different person, but I wouldn't have this woman anywhere near my special day.

Beautiful place with beautiful decor. Hidden gem in the bronzeville community. However, I would not recommend this facility due to the bad customer service from the event manager. I was there recently for a work event and the onsite event manager (I believe her name was Tanille) was extremely rude to the guests, the person hosting the event and the rest of her staff. She was very unprofessional and unfortunately, and even as a guest, I noticed it. Though the waiters and bartender were great, I cannot support a business where the leadership treats their staff and guests with no respect.

My church held its 100th year anniversary gala here. The renovation is gorgeous. The centerpieces were magnificent lighted base vases with flowers floating in water. There is ample parking with security. The waitstaff was very attentive. The food was good, however the portion sizes were quite small. Since we live in the city, I was delighted not to have to travel all the way to the burbs for this celebration.
