NYC’s New Restaurant Openings - New York - The Infatuation

"There’s a new restaurant from the team behind The Smith, and it’s a pizzeria on the Upper West Side. Parla color-codes its menu by sauce type, and they have both round pies and square pies. There’s a decent aperitivo list, as well as some salads and an entire wall of big, sunny windows. " - Will Hartman, Willa Moore

Parla - Review - Upper West Side - New York - The Infatuation

"The arc of the The Smith restaurants seems to be mimicking the movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: In the beginning, they were pretty good and filled a specific need, with a little something for everyone. But with the group’s first pizza spot, Parla on the Upper West Side, they’ve entered what we’re calling Phase 5 of the Smith Restaurant Universe. And, like with the MCU, we just can’t bring ourselves to care about their brand of broad appeal anymore. Parla is pleasant enough, if formulaic, with unstained wood finishes and a set of big windows. The $17 Little Gem salad is big and unobjectionable, and, maybe if they cranked the oven up a couple of degrees, the bland pizza wouldn’t bring back memories of elementary school lunch ladies. They’ve also got cocktails, pastas and smaller bites like burrata with pesto—so if you need an easy UWS dinner option with kids and default to Parla, we’d understand. If not, go on and find somewhere that makes you feel…something." - Will Hartman

Visiting friends in the area we stopped here for an early dinner. We were greeted by Zach, the host, who was super accommodating (especially since we arrived early for our reservation). We were sat quickly to where Sam, our waiter was courteous, efficient, and pleasant to work with! He made some phenomenal recommendations: Highly highly HIGHLY recommend the hot hunny pizza. Everyone loved it. The flavor pallet was the perfect combo of savory and sweet with a pinch of heat. The burrizza had phenomenal flavor, as well. The gnocchi was great. Super light and the flavor was great; just wish it came with more! Lastly, all the drinks we had were great and made perfectly (columbus Ave 75, espresso martini, and hot honey margarita. Overall, our experience was phenomenal here. Totally recommend and we will be coming again! 😊😋

There’s a reason this place has been recommended time and time and time again to me. I finally tried it and it did not disappoint in the slightest. Such unique flavor to their pies, and a crust that does its job so perfectly to complement the toppings. Even the toddlers ate their fair share of everything, which is no small feat. Very accommodative service, and quick too when you’re in a rush. Little Nicky and Burrizza were so different and so perfect to order together. Love love love coming again take my money!!

My wife and I had a wonderful evening seated at the bar, enjoying expertly crafted cocktails alongside two of the most delicious pizzas we’ve had in ages. I went with the square hot honey “Hunny” topped with pepperoni, while she chose the round, thin-crust pesto pizza. Both were absolutely fantastic! Our bartender was not only friendly but also a pleasure to watch as she skillfully crafted drinks with true artistry behind the bar. Highly recommend this spot for both the incredible food and the great bar experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Parla - Exceptional Flavors & Atmosphere on the UWS 3 visits in 2 weeks | 320 Columbus Avenue Parla has quickly become my wife and I's go-to spot after discovering this gem just two weeks ago. The trendy yet welcoming atmosphere perfectly complements their outstanding culinary execution. 🌟 Ask for David! David's menu expertise and genuine passion elevate the entire experience. His recommendations are spot-on – trust him completely. 🍞 Must-Order: Sesame Flatbread Absolutely spectacular. Perfectly crispy exterior, pillowy interior, with expertly toasted sesame seeds adding incredible depth. This alone is worth the visit. Roasted Eggplant - Amazing with One Note When done right, this dish delivers exceptional flavors with silky, perfectly seasoned eggplant. However, I've noticed inconsistent ricotta distribution across my three visits – from generous and evenly spread (visit 1) to sparse application (visit 2). My wife even commented on the difference. The ricotta is integral to the dish's balance, not just garnish. 💫 The Verdict Outstanding neighborhood restaurant with complex, memorable flavors and skilled execution. The minor ricotta consistency issue doesn't diminish our enthusiasm – we'll definitely keep returning. Just needs a small tweak to achieve perfection. Pro tip: Request David and order the sesame flatbread immediately! [Photos/videos attached showing the beautiful presentations].

Google
Cute modern restaurant with great bar seating. The gluten free noodles are insane! Highly recommend as well as the espresso martini. My hubs got the hot honey pizza. We both loved the gelato as well.

Google
My wife and I went to Parla on Saturday night. It was our first time exploring the upper west side of New York City and we intentionally chose to go to Parla because of the menu we did not have a reservation and so we decided to do a walk-in Zach, who is working the front reservation desk was extremely accommodating in our request for a dining table near the windows. The wait was about 45 minutes however Zach was extremely kind and offering drinks while we wait once we get seated, we placed our order and David who is our waiter was highly accommodating with our request to customize dishes. For context. I eat everything and my wife is vegetarian and as result, our requests can be nuanced, and in this case, we asked for specific customization to accommodate our food preferences. David and the staff were highly accommodating. The quality of the food is excellent. We ordered dippers on the side And it tasted excellent as well. Highly recommend coming to Parla. Zach and David are now our best friends.

Google
heard sooo many great things about Parla and had to come see for myself if it lived up to the hype. As a vegetarian, i feel like there’s plenty of options to choose from and it was easy to reserve a table for a Monday but it did get packed as the night went on. Definitely reserve because it does get busy! We ordered the Sonny boy pizza and it was absolutely perfect. I can’t stand when pizzas are too oily and this pizza was just right and the crispy sesame crust was so crunchy and delicious. Drinks also look great and i can’t wait to come back to try more.

Google
very good! The pasta was phenomenal but I forgot to take a picture of it. I think the hot honey pie was insane and the white pie with the jam was delicious as well. The gelato was the perfect way to end the meal. Not pictured are the olive appetizer (decently good), the salad (cool take on a caesar) and the pasta that had lemon (forgot the name but we mopped up the plate)

Yelp
What a wonderful surprise on a most competitive categories in food scene NYC PIZZA Excellent saltwater dough with brick oven pizza with a perfection execution. Slightly crispy, but not overburn. With choice of square and rounded. All 3 of them 10/10 Pasta good Dante with lemon citrate balance with ricotta cheese 10/10. One of best newcomer in this town

Yelp
I was in New York for a short time and I wanted to make sure that I had some delicious pizza. After walking around Central Park and building up the appetite, my friends and I decided to head down to this place. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted and sat at the bar. It was nice, well lit and extremely clean. I ordered a House Spritz which was phenomenal and paired well with what we ordered. We ordered the NY Classic and the Hot Honey Square pie and they were exceptional! We also ordered a side of their Spicy Italian Ranch which elevated the pizza experience even more. When I return to NYC I will certainly be returning for more. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop by. Oh & the service was great!

Yelp
We started with the Gnocchi and thought ... good, this hits the spot... and then the pizza arrived. New Yorker add pesto. I'm a pizza snob (thanks to Kens Artisan in PDX) and this was up there for flavor, freshness and crust chew. Reasonably priced. Casual without being fast food-like. Staff was very kind and accommodating to everyone. 10/10
google avatar

Ang M.

Yelp
Very impressed. The upside down pizza with hot honey is 10/10 also the cacio balls. Yummy. We had a an hour and 15 min wait on a Saturday night. We had a great server too. Our party of 5 loved our food - so much we ordered an extra pie once we were done eating. Also the spritz with olives in it is my absolute favorite way to drink a spritz.

Yelp
In a place like NYC, it's hard to stand out with pizza. But after coming to Parla, I can definitely understand why they've generated buzz for a cuisine that's available on pretty much every street corner. We tried two styles of their pizza - the round (S.O.P.), and the square (Full Shroom). The round was somewhere between a New York and Neapolitan style. Thin and crispy, but also a little chewier than a corner slice. The square was thick, but also airy and fluffy, somehow filling without being too dense. Both pies had fresh ingredients and tasted great. The Full Shroom was LOADED with toppings, and the S.O.P. had a nice balance of sausage and mozzarella. The meal was super filling, well worth the premium charge for pizza. The quality here is legit, Parla is well worth a visit!

Yelp
I always pass this place and it's always packed so I had high expectations. I Got a seat at the bar. Portions are not huge but filling. Got the sesame flatbread and the gnocchi which had a lovely fridgy after taste. Service is decent

Yelp
Wanted a great pizza lunch on the Upper West Side and our local friend took us to Parla. Got the NY Classic and the Green Machine (guess which is which). Outstanding pizza, great drinks and ambiance. They even gave us some free gelato at the end Highly recommend.

Yelp
From the moment you step into Parla, it's cozy and inviting. It has a warm and calming atmosphere and let me tell you, the hot hunny pizza is absolutely fantastic! They use fresh ingredients, so you can be sure you're getting a high quality taste. We had a great time sitting at the bar, the bartender was super attentive and explained their menu. Their sparkling lemonade and spritz were so good. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Started with friendly service and then the vibe. All was good then the two dishes we got based on other yelpers was on point. Coming back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch with two little ones after a trip to the museum. Parla did not disappoint!! Nice and clean inside, albeit a bit tight. Lots of communal seating, but we lucked out with an end booth. The staff was so friendly and helpful - they earned an extra tip! We split the upside down pizza because my girls love a grandma version we get on LI. The dough was so light and fluffy, almost like a focaccia. Not dense like most thick square pies. Flavors were on point. Got the swirl gelato, flavors were a little too intense for the kids but I enjoyed it. Would def recommend this for a lunch or dinner if you're in the neighborhood!

Yelp
This place was amazing! My friend and I sat at the bar and the service was great. There was a 20 minute wait on a weeknight, but it was worth it. The caesar salad was lemony and fresh and the pepperoni meatballs were so good. The pasta was buttery and citrusy. All in all would come back. The inside was super cute and cozy. I have an allergy to nuts and sesame, and they were very accommodating.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food. Literally everything we ate was so good. We started with salad and broccolini. The broccolini was really tender and had great flavor. The arancini was crispy and also was so good. The green machine pizza was healthy and not too heavy. The vodka sauce pasta was also really good. The dessert was amazing. Loved the texture of the soft serve. The spicy marg was really great. Would highly recommend this restaurant
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Such a good spot! Loved their hot honey pizza, such a thick, crunchy crust, and their delicious cherry-chocolate-pistachio swirl homemade gelato. The broccolini was pretty good, as was the shroom pie, but the hot honey and gelato are really the stars of the show. Coming back for their cacio e pepe arancini and either upside down or burrata pie. Grab the circular, windowed booth in the back and happily people-watch Columbus Ave. 5 stars!!!!

Yelp
I went in with high expectations due to what friends had said, and left needing to find new friends to trust for food recommendations. The setting was great, and the food was very picture-worthy. The taste was okay, the burrata was delicious, but the pizza was okay; it wasn't bad, but with so many choices in NYC, this isn't my first choice. (Italian style) It's decent, but not my favorite. My cousin's gluten-free pasta pomodoro needed more spice or seasoning, and the noodle portion was insufficient for the amount of sauce. The pizzas came out almost 15 minutes apart. This, unfortunately, while it was a nice dinner, with so many different options in the city, I will not be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious and fun little place in upper west! Came here for lunch after a museum trip. The pizza was yum, but the pasta was amazing! Was so hungry I forgot to take a pic, but I would try a salad/pasta combination next time. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The soft serve is a must try. It is so rich and flavorful. I thought I was way too full for dessert, but somehow finished the whole thing!

Yelp
Great food, great service. Perfect stop after NH museum. We will visit again next time we're in the city.

Yelp
omg the food is soooooo good. The catchy o's are so delightful - I've never had fried spaghetti balls and these were done perfectly. I do think 5 for the price is a bit cray tho. We ordered the eggplant parm square pizza and added hot honey on top. Wow. Beyond tasty. The square pizza has such a nice crunch to it and it's very airy. They keep the establishment very clean especially the bathrooms. And our waitress was so sweet and gave food recs when ordering.

Yelp
After some morning at the American Natural History Museum we wanted some lunch nearby and found Parla. They had a bit of a wait but we walked the neighborhood and one we got back were seated immediately. Service at the bar was quick and simple. I know they filter their water here and I simply have to call out how tasty that was too. We opted for a tomato pie and spaghetti midnight style with anchovies for lunch. Super delicious, wish we lived near here to come back regularly! Thank you to the team at Parla for a great experience!
google avatar

Yelp
Super kind staff, bright and cheerful ambiance, and delicious food. Loved the hot hunny pizza and little gem salad. Easy to make a reservation and the prices are good!
google avatar

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Parla is amazing, I loved everything I ordered, which included pizzas, pasta and salad! My favorite thing I ordered was hands down the hot hunny pizza, everyone at the table absolutely loved it! Parla can get very busy as the place is very popular and a bit in the smaller side (but cozy), so make sure to make a reservation before you go!
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
NYC - Ordered takeout. Great pizzas, pasta and salad. Tried their pasta, clam pizza, burrizza, calamari salad, etc. I enjoyed the burrizza (burrata pizza) a lot! It's a little oily from the pesto but the mozzarella was good. The clam pizza was okay, nothing like how New Haven would make it, it's not bad nonetheless. Their pasta with pink sauce was delicious! Salad veggies were fresh as well.
google avatar

Kristy T.

Yelp
Quality ingredients that you can taste is what you can expect at Parla's. Their service is impeccable with friendly smiles and tone. Their Roman style pizza has a crispy crust and a fluffy bite. Topped with the most flavorful ingredients, it can truly turn a Neapolitan girl into a thicker crust pizza. The dips are just meh and at times feel unnecessary, but don't sleep on the sesame flatbread! Covered in toasted sesame, the aromatic piece of carb serves as a great vessel for their burrata and ricotta! The cocktails are well made and definitely worth the splurge.

Yelp
I had been meaning to try Parla for a long time and made a reservation for two on a Friday at 7:15pm. We arrived right on time and I'm glad I had a reservation since two people ahead of us were told the wait time for walk-ins for 2 was around 1h45min. This is a small, intimate-feeling, high energy place that has a very cute neighborly vibe. Every table was full but despite that somehow the place had the perfect level of noise where it wasn't overwhelming but added to the vibrancy. We sat at the bar which was a lot of fun because the bartenders were amazing people with a lot of great recommendations to share with us. My fiancé ordered a Negroni which had the perfect balance of sweet and bitters. For food we shared: - Parla Chopped: this salad was probably one of the best salads I've had in a restaurant in NYC and I would come back in a heartbeat just for this. The flavors and textures in it were just insane. The Tuscan kale was earthy and hearty, the calamari were perfectly crispy and added hints of that seafood umami which paired perfectly with the tangy onions and olives. The goat cheese added a creaminess that was so subtle but balanced everything out. Finally there were little hints of spice from the dressing which gave it a little kick. I appreciated how complex this salad was and also how fresh all the ingredients were! Def order this. - Little Nicky: a friend of mine recommended this pizza to me so we got this as our one round pizza. The flavor profile of this was a little overwhelming for me, especially because the pancetta is very salty and fatty and I am just not a huge fan at baseline. I did not expect them to be so generous with how much the put on it but there was really a lot in there. That being said, the ricotta was very creamy and helped balance out the saltiness. The sweet and spicy jam that they add also gave it a little twist that was very good. The dough itself was phenomenal! The pizza had that perfect crisp and the crust was also amazing which just speaks of how good the dough is. Definitely want to try another round pizza next time I come. - Westside Supreme: I know everyone raves about the hot honey but this pizza is severely underrated. We got this as our square pie and I was blown away about how good it was. Crispy edges and fluffy inside, generous amounts of a delicious and fresh tomato sauce, all topped with prosciutto and burrata with hints of basil: this is all I dream of in a pizza. The flavors were amazing and the quality of the ingredients was out of this world. Highly recommend this one! - Dessert: we were hoping to try some of their traditional soft serve with pistachio but we happened to coincide with their one year anniversary so they had a special dessert. For the night, they served a toasted almond gelato with a chocolate shell and rainbow cookie crumble. The soft serve was delicious, the toasted almond flavor was subtle and went very well with the cookie crumble. The chocolate was dark and a little bitter to balance everything out. The textures were very good and the portion was generous. Overall, loved this spot! They have amazing pizza and use only the top ingredients. The ambiance is perfect for a night out with friends or a date. Highly recommend! I definitely will be back to try more pizzas and get their pistachio gelato!
google avatar

Jenna Z.

Yelp
Hot take: this is my favorite pizza pasta place in New York! I came here after seeing it on TikTok and I was floored by everything we ordered. We got Catchy O's, Hot Hunny, and the Lumache Pomodoro. All absolutely fantastic and delicious. My favorite was the Lumache Pomodoro -- the flavor was so delicious and pasta was cooked to perfection. Hot Hunny pizza was also delicious, more like a flatbread than pizza because the crust was so pillow-y. Ambiance is perfect for a date night or just a cute dinner with friends. Absolutely would recommend and will be back
google avatar

Arianne N.

Yelp
Reservations were easy to make and widely available. Reservations said communal but we were sat at a table all to ourselves for a party of 6. They have a few outdoor tables but it's all for a party of 2. The hot hunny pizza is easily one of the top 3 best pizzas I've ever had. Flavors were perfect. Bottom of the crust as perfect. The chew of the top part of the crust was perfect. I'm already trying to find an excuse to come back. The kids had a plain cheese pizza. I thought it was okay. Didn't wow me like the hot hunny pizza but the kids inhaled it. The roasted eggplant appetizer was also good. Coffee wasn't on the menu but I had a cappuccino. Lemonades are on the tart side. We were in the area to visit AMNH. Glad we found this place nearby.

AB H.

Yelp
The food was hit or miss. The broccolini was good as was the burrata. The broken Caesar was ok, the little gem had too much acid and salt. We liked the Hot Honey Pizza and the pesto pizza with burrata. The nice Guy had too much caramelized onion; it was our least favorite. Service was nice but slow. It was so loud that it made it hard to hear anyone. The host was excellent- he missed a note in our reservation about my wheelchair but fixed it promptly.
google avatar

Chernel H.

Yelp
I kept seeing Parla in my social media so I had it bookmarked for a while. It's in the upper west side so it's super out of the way, but I happen to be at the natural history museums so decided to pick up some pies on the way home. I ordered the hot hunny (square pie) and the Roni (round). When I went to pick up, the place looked busy! It was a cute spot too. I'm typically a square pizza girl, but I actually liked the roni better. It was perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and just the right amount of pepperoni cups. The hot hunny was good. It had calabrian chili honey which gave it a kick, but I found the crust a little too soft for me. Overall, pretty good pizza! Would come back if I was in the area again to try some other pizza combos.
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
Dare I say best square slice?? Found this gem on my walk to Central Park and wow the hot hunny square pizza was undeniably good. I live in Brooklyn and would travel for this pizza. The bread is an airy light crispy focaccia. The hot hunny is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy! Can't stress this place enough!
google avatar

Clara S.

Yelp
Omg this place was SO SO good!! Probably one of my top places to go to in UWS area. - Hot Hunny Pizza: 100/10 (mouthwateringly good. The crust is super crispy, the spiciness helps balance out the richness of the cheese, and the pepperoni slices weren't too salty) - Vodka Pasta: 10/10 (creamy and slightly spicy-- just a fantastic pasta overall) - Burrata: nothing special, but what more can you ask for Burrata - Espresso martini: 10/10 (perfectly balanced) Service was good, and ambiance was cute! The tables are a bit close together though so it does get loud.

Yelp
Small spot but serving food with big flavors and great service. We had a wonderful visit here and the pizza especially was awesome.

Chubski P.

Yelp
Amazing! We've been here three times now and every time has been incredible. Can't go wrong with any of the pizzas, pastas, or drinks. Just a heads up- if you arrive early for a pre-dinner drink then you will have to stand as the bar area is for customers ordering food. Not a big deal for us though.
google avatar

Shefali P.

Yelp
I've went here three times already and ordered via delivery almost once a week since I went. The pizza and the service is equally on par with one another and I've tried three different types. They have thin crust and square pizza and each speciality pizza has its own wow factor.
google avatar

Vanessa A.

Yelp
Finally tried Parla! Always busy so I wouldn't think of coming here without a reservation. We sat at a communal table. Luckily we didn't have anyone next to us for most of our meal but when our food came it got a little too crowded. We ordered the broccolini, the Burrizza pizza and the Upside Down square pizza. Loved the upside down! The crust was so crispy and airy. I could see myself ordering a pie to go. The burrizza was okay; I wasn't a fan on the sweetness that the balsamic gave it. The service was great. Host was very courteous and helpful when I called prior to coming in to ask about their cheeses. Our waitress Hasana provided excellent service. She assisted me with questions pertaining to my dietary restrictions and was attentive enough. We never felt rushed.
google avatar

Anne C.

Yelp
The food was absolutely fantastic! We walked in early on a Saturday evening and had a small wait to be seated at the bar. The ambiance and place was hopping. (Both for in person and takeout). Started with the marinated olives and catchy o's (their version of arancini) as well as some of the most delicious broccolini that I've ever had (perfectly done and seasoned). Capped off the meal with an amazing Upside Down "square" pizza - reverse constructed on "foccacia" like crust. Highly recommend. And if you can make reservations, do!
google avatar

Jessica F.

Yelp
We went for lunch on a weekday during the holidays. The host and server at the bar were both friendly and attentive. We got the Burrizza and pepperoni--we absolutely could have shared one, but we eat with our eyes and couldn't resist trying both. Both were delicious, fresh, with quality ingredients. Lots of great cocktail options--I had the Hot Honey Margarita with tequila, mezcal, calabrian chili, honey, bitter orange. Not a huge mezcal fan, but it was balanced and refreshing.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Such a cute pizza spot! It's a little small so for larger groups make sure to plan ahead! We stopped by for lunch and were able to get a seat at the shared table. The food was really good and filling - 10/10 vibes would go back
google avatar

Nivi R.

Yelp
Cute little spot on the UWS, perfect dinner option if watching a show at the beacon. Loved the pesto and mozzarella pizza. Skip the eggplant appetizer. Definitely get the gelato with the mix of pistachio and chocolate flavors. Can't wait to be back!
google avatar

Suesue E.

Yelp
I love this little joint! It's very industrial-esque inside, not very big which makes it intimate and a great place for a double date (which is what we did). The hot honey pizza was to DIEEEE for. So good! The burrata was also very delicious. Their cocktails were also very good and everything was "reasonably" priced (as reasonable as NYC can get). Our server Sam W. was sweet & attentive. Overall, a solid spot. I will definitely be back.

Eric S.

Yelp
We got the classic pizza, and it had a good all around flavor. The dough was crunchy and airy. The sauce was flavorful. I wish there was a bit more cheese, but it wasn't sparse by any means. Few complaints/ comments. The service was friendly but VERY slow. If you are in a hurry, it may not be the best place to swing by for a quick bite. Other note is the sodas are not fountain drinks, and worse, they're not even full size (20oz) bottles. That was a kind of lame part of the experience. I would suggest they look into fountain drinks, or get full size bottles.

Yelp
Beautiful new restaurant with large windows, modern clean vibes and delicious food! My sister wanted to take me to this restaurant and was raving about the salad and pizzas. We had a delicious lunch and enjoyed great service. We shared- Roasted Eggplant-chilled appetizer with whipped ricotta and pistachios. Creamy veggie appetizer with a welcome crunch from the nuts. Broken Caesar Salad-perfectly dressed salad with chicory and sesame. This Caesar was full of flavor, crunchy and had the tastiest dressing. Nice Guy Pizza-carmelized onions, goat cheese, prosciutto and arugula. Delicious pizza crust with fresh toppings. Lovely restaurant and I would love to come back to try different dishes. I have my eye on the square mushroom pizza!
google avatar

Will S.

Yelp
Amazing new addition to the UWS. The pizzas are to die for and you won't find something like it up here that's also a nice sit-down restaurant. The pesto pizza was terrific and the complimentary gelato was delicious too. We didn't love the sesame Caesar salad - good, but not really reminiscent of a Caesar. Will return!!

Yelp
We were meandering around the neighborhood after stopping by the Museum of National History. We had marked Parla on our list of places to try in NYC and got super lucky with a walk in for 2. It was SO packed. I can see why people do their best to make reservations because it's so popular. They also do take out and we saw plenty of people picking pizzas to go. We ordered the Burrizza and the Broccolini. Best choice we ever did was ordering the broccolini because once we tasted it, we literally stopped and looked each other in the eyes and telepathically agreed it was the best broccolini we'd ever had in our lives. There are only a few times and a few ways that you and your significant other connect on a cosmic level. This is one of them. Perfectly tender, slight olive oil, lemon zest and my god, that tomato garlicky vinaigrette? To die for. We could have ordered another one! The Buririzza was also good. I like a thicker, yeasty crust. Burratta and cherry tomatoes - you can't go wrong. Also saw a lot of other customers ordering the hot hunny and loving it. We're so sad that we don't live in this neighborhood and that the only way to get here is a 6 hour flight! If we live here, I swear, this will most likely become one of our most visited restaurants. Service was great and staff was very nice.

Yelp
Came here for brunch after a visit to the Natural History Museum. The food is really good, especially for the price, and the portions are large. Our waiter was great and very attentive. The atmosphere was very buzzy, but that's to be expected for brunch.

Kristi W.

Yelp
Wow. That Hot Hunny pizza is next level. We ordered a second one for the table! Crust had a nice crunch and the toppings were fully loaded! The Catchy O's were devoured in seconds. Ricotta was delicious but on the smaller side. Little Gem had the perfect mix of ingredients and wasn't too heavy on the dressing so it was light and crisp. Fantastic service by our waiter. We didn't have a Resy so waited about 45 mins for a table of 5 which wasn't bad on an early Saturday evening. We sat outside but the inside looks really nice.

Yelp
"westside supreme" pizza was wonderful. the crust was thick but light and airy. I sat at the bar and was a bit crowded.

Yelp
Disappointing Experience for Families We visited Parla Pizza with our three kids, including a one-month-old baby in a stroller. The restaurant is large and wasn't full, so we didn't expect any issues. However, shortly after we were seated, the host came over and told us we couldn't keep the stroller inside due to it being a "fire hazard." While we understand safety regulations, the way it was handled felt inconsiderate. No alternatives were offered, and it was clear the host saw the newborn in the stroller but still insisted we remove it without any solution. We've been to much smaller restaurants in NYC with the same stroller and never encountered this problem. It made what should have been a nice family outing unnecessarily stressful. Not a family-friendly experience at all

Yelp
Adorable little modern spot on Columbus. The honey pepperoni pizza and pizza loaded with arugula and prosciutto were excellent. What surprised me? How extra good creative drinks and appetizers were. Excellent eggplant and ricotta and flatbreads. My Italian Martini had good citrus quick. The GF pasta for my friend who must eat GF was A plus. Service on point. Attentive and pleasant, especially since this place is tight and a little crowded. Our corner booth was great for our party of six!

Yelp
Can't tell from the outside how busy this place was so be prepared to wait if nothing open when you arrive though we were offered the opportunity to get drinks at the bar while waiting for a table. Nice local feel and one of the best pizzas I've ever had if I'm being honest. Parla Chopped was excellent salad with calamari. Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza - amazing.

Yelp
The servers and GM are beyond kind and courteous. Two long bar areas for seating and some additional separate seating. Food was reasonable and fresh. I loved the eggplant dip. So cook that there's square and circle pizza options. I can't wait to go back!
