Sadly, you are a little late to enjoy this place, as they closed on the 29 of December 2024 - but you are right on time to learn about what separates a good restaurant from a great one. As someone who lives in the area, I walked past this place frequently. Every single time Beata and Robert greeted me with a friendly wave. On those days I worked far too late, had a bad mood, needed some quiet time, or got drenched in hydraulic fluid by my car, they were there for me and made sure I got a hot meal, a great wine, and felt like someone wanted to take care of me. Needless to say, all the other days I was feeling good and decided to drop by were absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, their service was sincere, and the atmosphere magical. My favorite dish was their 'Wiener Schnitzel', paired with one of Robert's favorite wines. What set this place apart however, was the fact that you always felt like you were eating with friends. Few places manage to give you this feeling.

This place was great. First timer to Duesseldorf and was told this was the area to check out. Walking around, we decided to try Parlin. Great place. Food was excellent, wine list solid, outdoor seating lovely and service was perfect. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

The food was nicely presented, but the flavour was rather bland and the ingredients didn't go together. The service was friendly, but unfortunately nobody topped up my water, so I had to help myself. Btw, contrary to what Google Maps says, you can't pay with a debit card.

It’s very good hidden restaurant. The atmosphere inside is very cosy. It’s Michelin restaurant. The foods are high quality and so delicious. And they offer the high quality wine.

Nice staff, nice atmosphere, good wines, but food… not bad, but nothing special….. I don’t know why it is featured in the michelin guide. And a bit expensive for the quality of food….

attended a wedding luncheon. the wiener schnitzel was perfect, the fish was tender. beer and wine were fantastic too. this is a tiny place, just right for ~35 people.

This place is amazing - cappuccino foie gras has restored my faith in humanity. It's the type of place where, once you have finished enjoying your food, you feel glad to have been borne just so you can experience places like this. Absolutely superb and cannot wait to come back here to dine again. Thank you.
