Parlor Deluxe

Loved my lunch here! I got The Wrigley, an elevated, insanely delicious Chicago Dog. Next visit for me will have to include either the tator-tots or waffles. Great music, great vibes, funky yet classy atmosphere. Good spot for a date.

PB&J Waffles- need I say more? This little joint is pretty inconspicuous- hiding on a corner of Spring St. I have yet to try their dogs or ice cream, but I will go back for the PB&J Waffles. If the picture doesn't convince you, I'm not sure I can except to point out that yes, those are gummy bears sprinkled on top. I tried the 'Poutine' as well- one of the Tots menu items. Points for experimentation, but I didn't care for this particular take on the Canadian delicacy. Call me a tater tot snob if you will, but these were a bit to dry and crispy for my liking. Parlor Deluxe still gets a 5 in my book, because the waffles are just so fantastic.

We stumbled on this place after a disappointing experience at Republic Ice Cream. We had raspberry sherbet and something like "drunken cappuccino" . Both were great, serving size correct and a very reasonable price.

Great addition to the EB neighborhood and quirky selection of late night bites and treats. Sadly this unique corner hangout was not long for this world, having shuttered their windows and locked the doors for the last time as of Sept 07 2016 RIP:PD we barely knew thee.

Awesome vibe, good selection of sodas and ice cream that they rotate out.

Ice cream and service was excellent. Get the ice cream special with waffle!
