Very nice salon with hip chick's that make you look good. Los Gatos pricing but you get what you pay for. Parking can be tight, otherwise 5 stars.

The stylist Ashley was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and easy to talk to while I was getting my hair cut. I was able to describe exactly what I wanted while she gave me great, professional feedback on what works with my face/style. I wanted to cut my hair and rock a 'bob' style haircut for a while now, but was nervous cutting that much hair. However, it looked absolutely amazing and it was so much fun and a great experience! Lisa Martinez is the best stylist I have ever had. She bends over backwards to accommodate my hectic schedule. Color or highlights are excellent quality and she has done the most gorgeous hair extensions I ever seen on some of her clients. People were starting to get on me about looking shabby, so a female friend of mine took me to who she loves to see. I'm so glad she did, because Bill is an incredibly gifted stylist. The haircut he gave me looks so good that I have gotten compliments on it almost every day since it was done. That's not to mention, how little of my time it took for him to do it, and how very fair priced it was. Best part was I didn't really have to have a single idea of what I wanted. I really don't know anything about hair, so I don't have a clue about what would look good on me. Even less, do I know how to ask for it. However, all that didn't matter. Bill asked me not to worry, because he had it figured out. Sure enough, he was right. And I'm so happy with his work that I'm positive I will only see him, from now, on. Thank you, Bill.

My girl is Moni and it was my first time getting my hair done here. The salon is very elegant and stylish, the staff greated me and offered coffee right away. My hair came out beautiful and Moni checked up on me later that evening to make sure i was satisfied. I gave it one star less because parking is limited. I found Parlour 308 while searching for salons carrying Kerastase products in the area. In the meanwhile, decided to let my natural grey grow. Except that it haven't grown in a beautiful pattern after 8 years, so I finally searched for a professional who could give me the grey hair I wanted. I first saw Cynthia Nguyen work through Parlour 308 website (there is a link to her Instagram) and knew right away she was the professional I wanted a consultation with. During the consultation she explained to me all the details, how important is to avoid damage, recommended products to prepare the hair for the process and, most importantly, was very upfront about the duration of the process. Makes a lot of sense, since avoiding damage is so important for her. I'm so glad I trusted her to do the work I've been looking for! She's not only achieved the result I wanted, but she also put the health of my hair first. Cynthia took her time to teach me how to take care of my hair at home and what products to use as well. Thank you, Cynthia for the amazing work!

I have been going to Jen for about 5 years now. She is incredibly talented and kind. She is a balayage specialist and does weddings as well. I always look forward to my next appointment with Jen. She's the best!

I am a Santa Cruz hippie with long hair, which I grow to donate to Wigs for Kids (Nonprofit Organization Serving Kids Suffering from Hair Loss). Naturally, I get very nervous when scissors get near my locks because I grow my hair out for a cause, and I just want to keep it healthy while stimulating growth. I see Cynthia annually. During my last visit, she suggested a beautiful haircut that suited my facial features well and changed my entire look. It was a long "Shag" and she also gave me bangs which I absolutely love! She kept the length but transformed my look entirely! She is experienced (a humble expert), unbelievably friendly (and funny), and you can't help but walk out of the salon with next-level confidence! As for the ambiance and appearance, the studio is very neat and clean, and the front desk team is always pleasant and smiley!

I just started going to Cynthia Nguyen. I've known her for a few years and since I needed to find a new stylist, I went to her. Though I found it shockingly expensive and more than I anticipated, ever since I got my hair done I have gotten more compliments than I've had in years and the best one yet was last night. Went into a bar with younger people in a group next to my friend and I and as we got up to leave they all all started saying that they loved my hair and wondered what rock band I was in! Ha ha! It just has enough uniqueness and then quality cut and color to make it pretty spectacular! As I told her, though expensive, I will make it happen! She also says that coming to her less often works just fine so if it lasts longer, maybe it's not as shockingly expensive as I first thought, but it's a lot to lay out at once. But once you find someone who can make you feel amazing it's hard not to want to absolutely go there

Been going to Cynthia more years to count, but I come out looking younger every time. Idk how that happens? Seriously, Cyn is a true artist and takes pride and enjoys her work!

This is my favorite salon in Los Gatos! All of the staff I have met here are fantastic. The ladies here are talented and nice, it is easy to spend time here. Kristin is my stylist and she always does impeccable work and the conversations make the time fly by quickly! Be sure to come early to allow adequate time for parking.

Ashley is literally the only one I will trust with my curly hair!!! She has the softest touch and makes sure I'm good! I've been going to her for my cuts & color the past 2 years, 100/10 recommend her! She's the sweetest thing!

This is not the Bentley of Los Gatos. I was recommended this Salon.. Yvonne the receptionist was polite and recommended the first girl she was all over the place and she didn't know what she was doing so she referred me to a second girl and she was rude and couldn't fix the first girls problem and then overcharged me. I'm not sure what's going on with this Salon but it made me feel very uncomfortable like it was my problem!!! I am a business owner and I would never treat my clients like this!!!

I've been going to Rachel Kimbrel at Parlour 308 for years and I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. She truly listens and makes sure she understands what you're looking for, and knows the techniques to ensure you're hair always looks it's best. Each time I visit her, I swear this is the best cut/ color I've ever had, but somehow it gets better every time! And to top it off, she's sweet, caring, easy to talk to, and provides excellent service. The salon itself is lovely inside, has a great atmosphere and a good selection of products available for purchase. Cannot recommend Rachel & Parlour 308 enough!

Laura is hands down THE BEST hairstylist and colorist. She's is a master of her craft, utilizing all the best techniques (balayage) to highlight, lighten and brighten my hair. Check out the pics below! I've got wavy dirty blonde hair and had wanted to try highlights but was frightened that either it'd ruin my hair or not look natural or start a costly high maintenance habit -- I went to Laura with my "virgin" hair and, she Exceeded all expectations!! My hair is super soft, healthy, and I can go 6 months in between highlights. Grows out totally naturally. I've been seeing her for a few years now. Every time she nails it. With the perfect haircut - good flow and texture to lessen the volume at the ends. And the color always looks so pretty! Like it would naturally if I could spend all my time outside. Super bright and natural. I love it!! I've referred a few friends and they ALL love their hair by Laura. Los Gatos is a 30 min drive for me. And well worth it!! Is it bad if the #1 reason I'd want to live in CA is to be closer to a hairstylist who can keep me just the right shade of blonde? ;) I went to Cynthia (who just so happens to be my friend's auntie -- I couldn't pass up the chance to see the woman who gave her the most beautiful blonde that's lasted 6 months+), hoping to get a bit closer to an ash blonde, from the pseudo-brassy blonde I had become over months of summer sun. The process was long (5-6 hours), but there was a lot of damage she had to undo (thank you, that one hair salon once that turned my hair orange) in order to healthily get my hair to a shade closer to what I wanted. She added a bit of lavender to my ash blonde locks, and I was in hair heaven. I have a feeling the lavender hair is going to stay my look for awhile:). I attended a wedding afterwards, and I got plenty of compliments and questions about where I got my hair done, so I'm definitely happy with the results. She's extremely talented, and just like any good stylist, was sure to give plenty of advice on how to maintain my locks and keep them from shifting in color or getting too damaged in the months to come. Like a proper hair goddess yoda ;) She's great at consulting with you to know exactly what you want and just how much can be achieved in one or more sessions, so no terrifying surprises (or orange oompa loompa hair) here, thank the hair gods. Now to find an excuse to get back to CA to get my hair did again...

I've refrained from writing this review but honestly I had such a bad haircut here twice. The 2nd one was to fix it... which made it so much worse. I've tried to see how or why my hairdresser cut it the way she did but everyday it makes no sense to me. No matter how I try to style it, it's the worse haircut with so many thinned out layers that it made my hair flip out. It's been close to 6 months since I've cut my hair here and I'm still slowly doing damage control at another salon. I've never been so traumatized with a hair cut.

Haircut and Styling - Cynthia Nguyen I went today to Cynthia Nguyen for a hair cut, and provided very general guidance. I mentioned that I needed a new style, and wanted to preserve the length while still being modern and fun. Cynthia worked with me and gave me an exceptional cut that went above and beyond my expectations. Not only that she is incredibly friendly and very personable. The haircut is a little pricy but in my opinion her attention to detail, her friendliness, and her emphasis on working with you to get exactly what you want makes an appointment with her well worth the cost. Will absolutely return for my next cut!

I am writing this review for Amanda Wilson-- hair stylist and colorist at Parlour 308. I realized I haven't given her a shout out and I have been with Amanda for 8+ years. She has done my hair since my college freshmen year years and has seen me change my hair needs- from a shorter bob/ align flare, to long blonde locks, to now a mid way chop. She has done countless colors and blonde tones for me that I have loved every single one. I have followed her here from her previous salon in Campbell. She always does an amazing job, and never lets me leaving feeling less than a 10. She's attentive, takes her time, knows my entire life, and truly feels like one of my friends. I now live in SF and still do the drive to see her once every few months. She is always readily there to ask about shampoos, conditioners, or other hair related needs. I text her pretty regularly and she's always responsive, easy to book with, and is such a sweet lady! Parlour 308 is a very elegant salon. Super clean, carries high end products, and all the girls are nice and accommodating. They always give sample products and have smiles on their faces. Highly recommend checking it out if your in need of a hair stylist in the LG area. See you soon Amanda!

You need to go to Moni here. She's the best. Look no further. I posted a full review on her Yelp (search Moni Sebestyen), and will paste here too: MONI! OMG just stop your hair search and come to her! Although, she's kind of a big deal, so make sure you book in advance. She's located at Parlor 308 in Los Gatos. After another stylist got "too big for her britches" and let her assistant totally fry my hair, I came to Moni to repair. I gave her full reign to chop almost 8 inches off my hair. Well folks, she crushed it. My main pic on Yelp is my hair right after Moni cut it. It's my most liked IG picture. It. Was. FABULOUS. Not only did she listen to me, she asked questions, and checked in with me during the process to make sure we were on the same page. Moni is not the type of stylist who just goes off and does her own thing after you tell her what you want. She will actually do what you ask for (unlike my previous stylist). And if she can't she'll be honest. She always makes sure you leave happy with your hair. When I asked to go straight back to blonde at first, she said it would damage my hair again and it would be better to do it over multiple appointments. She was totally right, and my hair thanks her for it. Now, almost a year later, Moni has fully color corrected my hair, gotten it back to a natural (and not brassy or overprocessed) blonde, and kept my ends healthy. I have referred now 3 other friends to Moni and she keeps their hair looking fly too. When I got engaged in September the FIRST person I called was Moni. I told my fiancé that if she couldn't do my hair and makeup, we'd have to book the venue for a date she could! That is how much I love and trust Moni with my hair and makeup. Wedding pics are forever, and I knew she had to be the one to do it. Now, I know hair is an individual process, so don't trust only me. Go look at her gallery (@hair_makeupbymoni on IG). She even does the makeup and hair for print/magazine spreads, the niners cheerleaders, and fashion bloggers. I cannot say enough good stuff about Moni as a stylist, but I also just love her as a person. She's so sweet and kind, and she always keeps me laughing! Lisa Martinez is the best.. I've been searching for a hairdresser for years who can color my fine dark brown hair to blonde without burning it off and turning brassy.. Lisa M. has the best skills and knowledge when it comes to coloring . Also, she has been doing my extentions never been happier and getting so much compliments since Lisa has been coloring and doing my extentions.

If you are looking for a true professional - one who has the wisdom and maturity to guide you toward your goals - look no further than Cynthia Nguyen. I came to her with the thought of going silver (from medium brown) and I could not be happier with the result. And this is not an easy process, think: 8 hours of hard work (on her part of course, I simply had to sit still and bask in her lovely company). My hair is just gorgeous, I am so happy I found someone to trust to guide me through this big step. Cynthia is one of the best in the business - thank you, thank you Cynthia!

I can't RAVE enough about KYLEE. SHE IS AMAZING. I wanted the silver purple hair with a pixie. I'm 50 years old and found myself in a blonde rut. Not feeling sexy at all. Not trying to rock a 25 year old look either. I walked out of her chair yesterday with such a sassy newfound attitude!!!!! This girl nailed the very look I saw on Pinterest!! Cynthia you are a hair goddess!!! If you want to get your hair done make sure you make a reservation because Cyn gets booked for dayssss, literally I had to wait 2 months (sat appointment)!! I checked in with the front desk a little early and they let her know I was here. After waiting a little her assistant Sophia came and got me. I was there for probably about 5 hours and this included hair cut, shampoos, processing, toning, styling. I'm so incredibly happy with the results. I've had some bad experiences on my journey to blonde and it was such a relief to find someone who was open to listening, but honest and realistic. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and while she said it might be hard to do in one session she would take me as light as my hair will go. Thanks for keepin it real but also making sure my hair came out amazing as well as maintaining its integrity. Cynthia and Sophia cut off my dead/split ends, brought up my grown-out balayage and lightened my hair! These two are so personable and have such fun personalities you will have a great time while feeling pampered and taken care of. 10/10 would recommended anyone! See you in December!!!

I love this place. I have had a few women work with my hair. They all have different styles but I can say that theory have all done a pretty good job. No complains. Super energy and a positive vibe here. I recommend this place.

My review is more for my stylist than the salon. I've been seeing Nadia Ktait for... over 5 years now - crazy! Didn't even realize it has been so long. I initially chose her to just do my hair for my wedding day... that was hard to shop for since I didn't have any relationships with hair stylists before that. She was a very easy pick though - she had the best portfolio of wedding hair that I had seen within the Campbell / Los Gatos area, and she was incredibly sweet. Despite my wedding day being around her birthday, she made sure to be available for me and I loved my hair + fish net veil that she helped me with - and I got a lot of compliments. Since my first visit, she has moved to Parlour 308. I'll agree with the fact that sometimes the customer service at the front desk isn't the best - but luckily I only have to deal with them over the phone when I need to adjust my appointment. Nadia is always on the lookout for me when my appointment time is coming up so she takes care of the HELLO and HOW ARE YOU and then the UNTIL NEXT TIME and LET'S SCHEDULE YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT. She does awesome color work - I used to get blonde / brown highlights and a trim. Now I just go blonde and a trim and she's really great at keeping my hair soft and using the best stuff for MY hair (since it's so thin) to get the color that I want without damaging it. I highly recommend her... despite what you might read here about the Parlour itself.

It was my mistake to go to a different salon, they turned my hair a mixture of brassy orange and black. I was super sad that I had to redye my hair black because I prefer lighter hair. Thankfully, I went back to Parlour 308 and came out with amazing results! Of course, as usual I made an appointment with the lovely Cynthia ( whom is a pro at lifting dark hair ). She said although my results would be unpredictable, but it turned out really great! I did a brown balayage and there was no brass whatsoever! I'm very happy with my results, and will probably never ever dye my hair anywhere else again! If you ever come across Parlour 308, ask for Cynthia! You won't be disappointed I've been coming to her for years and had her dye my hair from blonde to blue and to brown!

I found my stylist/colorist, Kylee, through the app StyleSeat. Kylee is knowledgeable, friendly and helped me recover from a burnt out mess resulting from my balayage. To be fair, I neglected to maintain and care for my balayage and my hair was in a horrible state. Kylee presented me with a plan to get my hair and image back on track. I wanted a more polished look so needed to ditch the highlights. The big key to my haircare was Kylee's recommendation to use L'Oreals Smart Bond - which is sold at the salon. Integrating this product into my weekly routine accelerated my hair recovery and also maintains my current color. I've gotten a few comments from friends at how well my color has been lasting. The salon itself is busy/energetic and clean. There isn't a pretentious vibe - it's pretty friendly, actually. My tip: if your coming here in the summer on a weekend, give yourself ample time - beach traffic cuts through town and causes mega delays.

Nicely located just off East Main Street near the high school, there is usually parking available in the small lot adjacent. There is a 2 hour limit fiercely enforced by the local PD - be warned! The salon is beautifully decorated and spacious. The stylists are top-notch and additional services are offered to hair cut and color. Spray tanning and also waxing are two. As Los Gatos is a 'destination' for hair styling (really!), this is one of the best salons!

Laura is awesome!!! My hair takes patience to lift in color. She gave it the time and attention to get blonde without breaking. She blends techniques so it looks natural and beautiful. So happy with my highlights that melt into blonde. She also did my cut. I don't even need to give her much direction--I can just trust that in Laura's hands I'll have long, beautiful, well-layered and highlighted locks. Thank you Laura!!!!! I have been coming here for at least 5 years now. Kristen is the BEST! I found her through a friend whose bangs were on point and I had wanted bangs. Finding someone who can do them right was hard, until Kristen! Now I come to her for all my cuts, colors and styles. The ambiance is also pretty awesome... makes you feel like a celebrity with all the decor. Good place - stylist (Kristen) makes it the best place!

Cynthia is the best hairstylist! I have been going to her for many years now. She is an example of a stylist who is truly passionate and really shows in her work. She is patient, honest and professional. She will tell you what looks good and what doesn't. She will work towards your goal without damaging your hair. My hair has regained its health since I started going to her. What is even more amazing is that she is excellent in all areas of hair-- color and cut! I have since referred a few of my friends to her. But if you want to make an appointment with her, I'd recommend calling in advance because her appointments book up fast. Love! How much do I live this place? Well I live over 80 miles away and I still go here. I only allow Laura to do my hair- she is absolutely fabulous. Each time she gives me great feedback about what will work and won't work. She's sociable and knows what she is doing! I have done long, short, red, black, chocolate, blonde, highlights, everything you can imagine and have yet to be disappointed. Laura rocks!!! My only drawback is the parking, it is indeed rough but I do find parking even if it a little ways away. It's worth it though.

This review is first for Lisa Martinez who has been doing my hair for 10 years. She is a pro when it comes to color and color correction. Always gives a great cut/trim and does a fantastic job with bangs. I've also had both tape and Great Lengths extensions applied by her which she blended perfectly with my own hair. I'm including a photo from my wedding as an example of ombre/balayage color and extensions by Lisa. My color always looks amazing after I see her, and her sweet bubbly personality makes it a great salon experience. Second, Chantelle styled my hair for my wedding day along with the bridesmaids and she did a wonderful job!!! If you are looking for someone to style your hair and your bridal party Chantelle is your girl!

Horrible parking and stuck up workers. This place is overpriced. They ll probably be more friendly to me if I was blonde. Not worth the money spent here.

Moni has been doing my highlights for about a year now. She is just amazing and so professional. She goes out of her way every time. She gives me undivided attention. I couldn't be happier with her. She is nothing short of a goddess in my eyes!!

I have been following Jo around for over 20 years. She is always consistent and try's to fit me in. After a bad experience at a Los Gatos salon I worked at I am glad that there is Jo who is always there for me and my hair.

This review is for Julia/Jewelz - I HIGHLY recommend her. I have long, very thick, and wavy hair which makes it a not-so-easy mane to manage. My hair is naturally a focal point on my body so I am very cautious as to who cuts & highlights it (I have dark brown hair with caramel highlights). Julia does a great job of trimming my length, cleaning up the layers, and texturizing the ends. Before Julia was recommended to me about a year ago, I would get my color done by my long-time colorist in San Diego, and only see Julia for cuts. Recently, my colorist in SD did my highlights WAY too light, and Julia knew exactly how to fix the color and achieve the look I wanted. She has a great eye for color. As someone who is very protective over my hair, I would recommend Julia to anyone!

The parking is horrible! 3 spots and maybe you can get lucky parking at the busy doctors offices across the way. The salon is beautiful as well as the ladies that work there. The owner Heather has done my hair 3 times in 7 months and still can't remember how I want my highlights done! The 1st time it was perfect! The 2nd I had to stop her when she thought she was done and tell her what I wanted again because she did it wrong. The third time she did it wrong and I walked out $160 out of my pocket and I was not happy with the results. I hate choppy highlights! I went one last time and I told her my issue and I still got Choppy highlights. I suggest Heather keep a record of her clients and what their preferences are. She also ignored me while working on my hair and talked with her friends. She makes me feel like its high school and I'm not as cool as her and she doesn't want to talk to me. She also did not style my hair after my highlights to hang with her friends and had a novice style my hair and she gave me an ugly 80's hair dew. This place is a rip off!! They are snobby and don't treat you well unless you look like them or unless they smell money pouring out of your pockets. Shame on me for going back. I'm looking for another highlight expert
