It’s exactly what you’d expect from American-style pizza – flavorful but not an authentic pizza recipe. The ingredients seem cheap, and it’s overly oily. The place itself is decent but strangely decorated., the service is good with really Friendly staff.

The best Pizza in town! Everything is good, the Detroit style pizza is delicious, I always stick to New York style Cheese Pizza so scrumptious!

We decided to try out the new pizza place in our neighborhood last night. I had to Google “Detroit style pizza” before I placed my order, but it sounded good. I ordered a large with for vegetable toppings and sausage on half the pizza. $44?! OK, maybe this is a very large pizza. When I picked it up and opened the box at home, I honestly thought they had given us a small pizza by mistake. I called them and they said that their large pizza is 10“ x 14“. Well, what was in the box was about inch shorter than that on each side; it was slightly larger than a piece of printer paper to put that in context. So I guess it shrinks after cooking? Anyway, they confirmed that I actually had the large pizza and I told him I was really disappointed in the size, especially considering how much it cost. The person I spoke to really didn’t seem to care, I guess they get this feedback a lot.(the base price of the pizza is $27 but each edition added like three dollars. Per tablespoon of vegetables 🙄) I have to say that the texture was very nice and chewy, I do like a thick crust, and this had that. But I feel like a large pizza should have leftovers the next day when only two people are eating it. Anywhere else I’ve gotten a large that’s been the case so I probably won’t be getting pizza here again; the value is simply not there.

08-19-23 First time here. Pizza for takeout. Called in for a medium pepperoni. Was asked if I wanted "New York" or "Detroit" style. Never heard of Detroit style. I've heard of Chicago style. Asked what is the difference? Detroit is slightly thicker crust. I said that since this is my first time, I'll try New York style. (Remember I asked for a medium) When I arrived, I was handed a box too big for a medium. I said is that a large? Yes, it is. OK. I thought $28 dollars was a little steep for a medium. Oh! New York only comes as a large. Don't you think that is something you should tell the customer when they make an order? Um, yes sir...um, I didn't take your order. The pizza is pretty good, much better than at Maria's across the street (which only has a medium size for their pizza). This may be my go-to place now. Close to home. But still $28 is a little high. That's 4 Little Caesars larges! 🤪 I think I'll try Detroit style next time. Maybe they have medium, maybe it's less expensive.

While traveling we were staying at a hotel and I tried to find a good pizza spot. We ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza. It was extremely greasy when IWe ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza. It was extremely greasy when I went to pick up. At first, I thought the box was put on water or something, but it turned out. It was grease. I opened the box before taking it back to the hotel and saw that it was so greasy that you can see the grease on top of each pepperoni. not sure what kind of pepperoni they use but I’m pretty sure the grease came from this pepperoni ? Anyways, I literally had to use napkins on top of napkins on top of napkins to get all the grease off. Also left grease on my vehicles leather dashboard when put on the dash for delivery.

I decided to grab a few slices to go. I usually go at lunchtime, and it's pretty quick, but the last time I went between 630-700 PM I had the same experience that I am writting about now. I got there about 6:30 PM. There were about five persons working behind the counter. I looked to see what they had available, and there was literally five slices of pizza available. Usually, they have a little more to choose from, but its never full. I decided to order three slices. Since that was really all that was available. I gave my order to the young girl and she said it would be a few minutes. I went next door to Vons Supermarket to grab a few things. When I came back 15 minutes later. Thinking my pizza would be ready. I saw what looked like my order come out of the oven, but the guy proceeded to walk to a table and give it to the people that were sitting down. I asked the girl that took my order about my order. She told me they just put it in a few seconds ago. Because they were busy. I have no clue what they were busy doing, since they were just standing around talking to each other. I asked, how much longer it would be?A guy yelled and said about 5 to 7 minutes. I said that's unacceptable. 'Because I ordered it 20 minutes ago. It shouldn't take that long to warm up a few slices of pizza. When I said that, one of the guys came over to the counter and said, do you want your money back? Not even an explanation as to why they were just putting my order in now or hey we're sorry, we forgot about your order, just some snyde comment from a cocky teenager with no people skills. So I said yes. They refunded my money back to my credit card. I walked out, never to set foot in that Parma again, and I was a good customer. The pizza is okay, not the best, but its local and I can run in and out if I'm craving a slice, but I didn't get a chance to run in and out this time. Since the service was horrible. This is the second time the service was horrible around dinner time for me. I get it it's dinner time. Most people order for delivery or pick up whole pies, but why would you not have an assortment of pizza available for someone just walking in off the street to get a few slices? Even a few times at lunchtime, they fell behind and there was nothing available. I tried to give Parma the benefit of the doubt a few times, but this was the last straw. No more Parma for me and everyone I know. Since a large number of my friends have had the same experience there and they won't go back either.

Yelp
We got a chance to try Parma pizza again as the owner reached out to me to try again. We got the Joker this time and it was delicious! Amazing flavor, the crust was chewy and held the toppings really well, and the pepperoni. Great customer service on their part and I am glad we got to try this place again!

Yelp
Pre-heat your oven people!! While the pie speaks volumes for itself, the counter service isn't what it should be. Not a single customer waiting our turn & patiently while my pizza got cold. Saw my order put aside left for cold and wasn't even acknowledged as a paying and tipping customer. Leaves me cold too!!

Yelp
I am so sad this place is closed, this is the only pizza I've eaten in California that holds a candle to east coast pizza. Everybody out here has the absolute worst taste in pizza... I'm looking at YOU Winner's, Tony's, Cici's and all that kids play park snack stand frozen pizza quality trash that survives in the Conejo valley. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. RIP Parma's.

Yelp
On point every single time! So worth the wait when I head out to this area. These guys are seriously legit. I wish that they opened in Ventura!

Yelp
My husband is from midwestern ... he enjoyed Detroit style Pizza! It's so good. This time was our first time While we were waiting for our pizza to be made, we saw so many customers coming in to pick up their online orders. They do have weekday lunch specials looks good too!
google avatar

Yelp
A rock themed pizzeria that plays live sports and classic rock music? Say less! I've had Parma's twice in 2 weeks already... They make really great pizza! Both times I had the marg New York added the Calabrian peppers and Jalepenos - soooo delicious. It's very thin (aka authentic!) so plan accordingly. I normally eat two slices of pizza but here I have three/four. And my bf ate an entire large by himself lol. But he's sort of wild with pizza. Their online ordering timeline has also been spot on. I appreciate that because sometimes places will have it ready before the time says and then the pizza gets cold. While I was waiting for my order they had the Beatles and Mötley Crüe playing with basketball on the tv - I def regretted not dining in, it was like heaven. Parking is easy and staff is super chill. Absolutely love Parma's!

Yelp
Good quality, sometimes unorganized. Good New York style pizzas pepperoni and Payback.

Yelp

Yelp
A buddy from my office wouldn't stop raving about Parma Pizza in Agoura Hills--'best pizza ever,' he said. I was skeptical... until he brought me a small pepperoni. Wow. The crust was thin but perfectly crisp, the sauce packed incredible flavor, the cheese was top-notch, and the pepperoni? Absolutely delicious. Consider me a believer--Parma lives up to the hype! Thanks Rob!

Yelp
Cheese pizza slice was fresh and really just ok. All the speciality slices looked really good tho and I would like to go back and try them.

Yelp
Really like their pizza. Fairly expensive but what isn't anymore. Well worth the price. They do a really good job.

Yelp
Parma's Pizzeria in Agoura Hills is a better than average pizza-by-the- slice restaurant. They also have a location in Thousand Oaks. It has a rock-and-roll theme as you will see guitars hanging on the wall and a few autographs on the wall that remind me Mulberry's Pizzeria. They sell New York-style and Detroit-style pizza by the slice and whole pizzas as well. Not too many options in the case -- cheese, pepperoni, or sausage. If you order a slice, they will upsell you on getting a fountain drink and will ask you for a tip... so total for a slice of pizza will be around $11 (if you're a sucker like me). I don't think you can find an inexpensive slice of pizza these days unless you're grabbing a slice at a Whole Foods or Amazon grocery store which I do more often. It's a satisfying slice of pizza as I even ate the crust. It's a bit floppy to eat and doesn't hold up if you're using your hands. I ended up rolling it into a sandwich form. I've been curious about this place while grabbing a sandwiches at the uber-popular Italia Deli next door. The slice here will cost you around $7. They will upsell you into adding a soda (which I regretted being suckered into that -- as I don't drink those kind of mainstream corn syrup fountain sodas). Give me a Topo Chico or Mexican-style Coke or real sugar Squirt. They will ask you for a guilt tip for ringing you up, so expect to pay $11 for a slice of pizza. I still prefer Pizza Wagon in Sherman Oaks for my favorite New York-style pizza by the slice -- I always feel at ease because the owner never pressures me into buying a drink (even though they have a better and more interesting drink selection in their refrigerator) or ever pressured to leave a tip. If you live in Agoura Hills, this will definitely satisfy your craving for a pizza. If you live closer to Thousand Oaks, I prefer Denino's and Slice House for pizza by the slice where I've been going more often.

Yelp
The Detroit pizza is truly delicious! Great crust and sauce, and the ingredients are high quality.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
I'm always on the search for a good slice of pizza and a good lunch special. The NY and the Detroit style are so money here. A slice, salad and drink for $12 is perfect. The guys are alway friendly and helpful. Def my top 3 pizza spots in the conejo valley.
google avatar

Nasir C.

Yelp
I like the Detroit style pizza from here As a person who lives close by love ordering from here
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
As for me the reason I revisit is their Detroiter. The other pizzas are fine but that one is special The servers are diligent and hardworking. Tip them
google avatar

Abbey S.

Yelp
Yummmmmmm! Very authentic ny style Za. Paper plate and everything. A complete experience for the home sick. Plus great tunes and nice staff.
google avatar

M B.

Yelp
I haven't eaten here so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but I've gotten takeout a lot and I will say that it's my favorite pizza in this area. The Detroit-style Blue Hawaii is on of my fave pies of all time--and I consider myself an aficionado.
google avatar

Todd M.

Yelp
The Detroit style pepperoni pizza was delicious. I like how they have slices to go if your in a rush. Its a great choice for the area. Finally tried the desert sticks too, they were yummy. Well done. Thank you.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
I liked the quality of the staff and the choice of pizzas were good. They had the new Sammy Hagar beer which was a kick. Getting NY and Detroit in one spot was cool amd the flavors on each were good. A fun find in my desperate hour.
google avatar

Hugh B.

Yelp
finally tried their pizza... gotta say it was really good. the smell in my car after picking it up told the whole story. friendly staff as well. the crust was awesome and NOT average. Wish they had their own delivery and not door dash.

Laura D.

Yelp
Great Place. Rock themed! makes it even better. My friend and I were doing a staycation and decided to stop in here to get some dinner to go. They had some nice menu selections. I just went with a simple pepperoni pizza. We waited a bit because they were putting in some fresh pizzas. They have cool music playing and a t.v. They do have some tables to eat at. Decent size place. Was pretty busy when we went but the line moved quickly. Prices seemed fair. Pizza was good. Staff was really friendly. Fun environment! When back in the area, I will be back for sure! Plenty of parking.

Simrat S.

Yelp
This place is always solid. We usually go for the NY pepperoni or cheese, and the slices are consistently spot-on--perfectly cheesy, well-sauced, and with almost no flop. The staff at the front are always super friendly too.

Kimberly G.

Yelp
We LOVE Parma! It is always hot fresh out of the oven with amazing sauce. The crust is five stars. My kids ask for it multiple times a week. The staff is always so nice helpful and efficient.

Bee G.

Yelp
Ordered one single pizza for pickup and 45 minutes later was still not ready. 4 people working there, no other customers or orders ahead of us and they hadn't even started it. Will not be ordering here again.
google avatar

Natasha B.

Yelp
We are from the East Coast and always looking for better pizza options. Found this place and started with the Detroit Style (Bissonette) for our first order. Delicious! We were there on a Friday night and ordered at the counter (to go) and it was ready within about 15 minutes. We will be back to try a NY Style pizza. I was tempted to get a slice of plain cheese but we had enough with the one pizza.
google avatar

Sandro S.

Yelp
Excellent place, their own style and the pizza is great. A little pricey but worth it.

Max G.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the gentleman that was working there was courteous and kind. All of the pizza in the case looked great and I wanted to try them all. Unfortunately the calzone that I ordered, The Chain, was less than what I was expecting. While the dough tasted great, it is very thin, also great, but, seeing that large of a calzone you would expect it to be stuffed with toppings. That was not the case, full of mostly air, there were maybe 6-7 small slices of sausage on each half, a thin layer of cheese, and I had to look hard to find the peppers and onions. I really wish I had taken a photo before I ate it. Again, tasted great, but I would expect more toppings for a $16.00 calzone.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Popped into this place with my wife for lunch yesterday and had a great experience. The lunch specials they have are a great deal and the slices were really good. Additionally, the man working the front was very nice and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Definitely will come here again.
google avatar

ish J.

Yelp
First of allllll $4.50 for a Big A***** Slice of Pizza in 2024! That's a steaaaal! Decided to stop by for a quick bite during my lunch break. So glad they got the single slices ! Definitely have few different choices but mine was Cheese Slice Dr. Pepper. Deal done. All under $10! That's crazy! LOL. Service is fast and friendly . Rockstar vibe for the ambiance with a TV playing sports clips and they also got beers ! Yah gonna be here often during my break.
google avatar

P B.

Yelp
The pizza is so good as close as you can get to New York Pizza, especially in Agoura Hills! Super nice people working there as well. They have Detroit style pizza as well. I have six-year-old and they can demolish a large pizza by themselves. They have a great frequent buyer point system as well.

Melanie D.

Yelp
Can't get enough of this pizza! We love both their deep dish and NY style. We haven't been inside, mostly order delivery, but I'm sure the environment is great. We always get what we order and haven't had any problems with service!
google avatar

Berenis S.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch after finishing my business route and I am very satisfied on how tasty this pizza is. The cashier was super helpful and super kind. Loved that the employees had an upbeat attitude. It was super fresh inside as well and plenty of spots to sit as well. Will definitely come back here soon and nextime take a whole pie home.

Davo D.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the pizza. Amazing breadsticks and the ranch is top of the line. And don't even get me started on how good the marinara was. The people were really nice as well. Really nice enviornment looked like a classic pizzeria.
google avatar

Robyn B.

Yelp
I am normally not a negative person. I ordered Parma's Pizzeria last night. It was un-edible! It was the Joker. Cost just over $25.00. It was pepperoni, garlic and I added basil. I am convinced they put an entire bottle of garlic on it!! It was the worst. It's really a shame. I have had their pizza before and really enjoyed it. Didn't work for me this time. Good luck!
google avatar

Lance T.

Yelp
This is our new go to pizza shop! We discovered it about 4 months ago, we've since been here 8 times. The Detroit style double vision is my favorite, the flavor, dough, everything about it is bomb! Do yourself a favor and eat here!
google avatar

Vesna M.

Yelp
Great pizza! Both the NY and Detroiter are delicious and service is prompt and courteous. That's all you can ask for in a local pizza joint!
google avatar

Summer W.

Yelp
Always come here with my family. The food is absolutely delicious and extremely! We always get the large pizza to feed our whole family. The people that work there are so kind! The inside isn't somewhere you really wanna sit to eat the meal because it's not super quiet. Takeout would be preferred.
google avatar

Anders D.

Yelp
As a Michelin trained chef, born and raised in NY. I can say this is EASILY the BEST Pizza i've had in all 15 years on the West coast. Perfect, crispy delicious pizza. Always friendly and polite staff. The owners are great. The interior decor is trendy and music inspired. Its an amazong establishment. Highly recommend. 5 stars across the board.
google avatar

Alyx M.

Yelp
Incredible pizza! I loved the Detroit Style pizza. Extremely friendly employees. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Excellent pizza. Love the "Amato Tomato" NJ style pizza. Best sauciest pizza i ever had! Tomatoes taste incredible & the cheese / dough (bread & crust) was awesome But there NY style pizza is also perfect; cheese, dough / bread & tomatoes perfect The Squares: Sicilian & Detroit; i have only tried the Detroit and it was good especially the tomatoes / sauce. I wanna try the Detroit Style (Deep Dish Version) I wanna try there Sicilian Square next but overall excellent pizzas. And the customers service is excellent & great family run store. Thank you to the owner & everyone at Parma.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
I've gone to the Thousand Oaks location many times and am so excited that it's now in Agoura Hills! Their pizza is delicious and their cinnamon bread is dangerously good! I love that you can buy a whole pizza or buy a slice if you're by yourself and just want a quick bite. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean. So excited to have a new fun and delicious restaurant in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Nima A.

Yelp
Great food in our local neighborhood specially I love the pizza by slice and variety they have. Sometimes you just want a small bite not the whole pie Thanks

Hermine U.

Yelp
I've had Parma's pizza many times, a few times it's been amazing, but more than half the times we're disappointed but keep trying hoping for it to be amazing again. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with bell peppers which is a $3.00 add on, however, I couldn't taste any bell pepper or even see any. Since they are so stingy with toppings I'll just skip it. Please see attached photo. I want to keep coming back, Parma please do better!

Laura K.

Yelp
We tried Parma for the first time last night. The pizza was excellent! We got two NY pies, the one with smoked pepperoni and hot honey (added Calabrian chilies and highly recommend!) and the supreme style one. Best NY style pizza in Conejo. Crust is crispy, chewy, thin, sauce is perfect-- simple, tomato, with the amount if acid, and you can tell they use high quality toppings. We will definitely re-order.
google avatar

Mrs S.

Yelp
One of the best pizza pies in the hood!! We are pretty picky NYC style lovers of pizza. Even though we are thin crust goers - we were blown away by the DETROIT style here - you must give it a try!! Two locations now - both consistent with the same greatness!
google avatar

Maryam A.

Yelp
Amazing pizza. Chill staff. The best coke known to man. Add garlic onto everything and enjoy!
