I decided to grab a few slices to go. I usually go at lunchtime, and it's pretty quick, but the last time I went between 630-700 PM I had the same experience that I am writting about now. I got there about 6:30 PM. There were about five persons working behind the counter. I looked to see what they had available, and there was literally five slices of pizza available. Usually, they have a little more to choose from, but its never full. I decided to order three slices. Since that was really all that was available. I gave my order to the young girl and she said it would be a few minutes. I went next door to Vons Supermarket to grab a few things. When I came back 15 minutes later. Thinking my pizza would be ready. I saw what looked like my order come out of the oven, but the guy proceeded to walk to a table and give it to the people that were sitting down. I asked the girl that took my order about my order. She told me they just put it in a few seconds ago. Because they were busy. I have no clue what they were busy doing, since they were just standing around talking to each other. I asked, how much longer it would be?A guy yelled and said about 5 to 7 minutes. I said that's unacceptable. 'Because I ordered it 20 minutes ago. It shouldn't take that long to warm up a few slices of pizza. When I said that, one of the guys came over to the counter and said, do you want your money back? Not even an explanation as to why they were just putting my order in now or hey we're sorry, we forgot about your order, just some snyde comment from a cocky teenager with no people skills. So I said yes. They refunded my money back to my credit card. I walked out, never to set foot in that Parma again, and I was a good customer. The pizza is okay, not the best, but its local and I can run in and out if I'm craving a slice, but I didn't get a chance to run in and out this time.
Since the service was horrible. This is the second time the service was horrible around dinner time for me. I get it it's dinner time. Most people order for delivery or pick up whole pies, but why would you not have an assortment of pizza available for someone just walking in off the street to get a few slices? Even a few times at lunchtime, they fell behind and there was nothing available. I tried to give Parma the benefit of the doubt a few times, but this was the last straw. No more Parma for me and everyone I know. Since a large number of my friends have had the same experience there and they won't go back either.
