I agree with others that this place is a gem. We had a tasty lunch and snacks with made to order wraps and sandwiches. We grabbed additional items from the grocery to eat on the outdoor picnic tables as well as bakery items for later. The banana milkshake was quickly consumed and enjoyed by our teen! Smiles and pleasantries all around. Enjoy!

A lovely country bakery. Three of us are. One had the hamburger and chips which was filling. The other two had chicken and gravy roll and chips which were large and filling. A good range of food to eat in. There is also food you can buy as a takeaway but can not eat this at the tables inside. Also a good range of product such as local honey and garlic salt to take home and eat or give away as presents.

Stopped in for coffee and cake and we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff, helpful and welcoming. The cake selection was excellent.

Great little place where time stands still and you can enjoy the best of K.I. genuine hospitality. Great, friendly staff and tasty meals. The Cafe has a good range of tasty meal options to eat in or takeaway. The indoor cafe tables are set up in an area where the north and west facing windows allow the sun to stream in on a wintery afternoon. The staff don't mind nattering with 'meandering mainlanders'; provide generous tourism advice (where to go, what to see, how long it takes to get wherever you are going, which sites are worth seeing, best photo spots etc); and make a decent coffee. If you visit more than once, don't be surprised when they remember you. This is true country-style hospitality. If you are staying around this part of the island, the grocery shop has enough of the things that you need to see you through. (Although doesn't have the full range of some of the island's bigger supermarkets, which are further away from this part of the island.) Also picked up a few quality fridge magnets as souvenirs while I was there. 🙂 Tip for visiting mainlanders: Don't be in a rush, leave your haste at the door... you have now entered the zone of 'island-time'. Relax and enjoy!

Awesome local family business, super friendly, delicious and freshly made food with love. Prices very fair. Milkshake was epic and our lunch wraps had the most veggies since we've landed in Australia.
