"Formerly called “Liberty Park,” this 26 hectares green space features dramatic hedges and views of Lisbon and the Tagus River. It’s a large scale feat in a city of quaint corners."

15 Best Bars in Lisbon | Condé Nast Traveler

"Lisbon is especially beautiful from above, and Park, crowning an otherwise humdrum Bairro Alto parking garage, provides rapturous views. Outside, in a magical urban garden setting lush with greenery, there’s crate-like patio furniture. Inside, there's a lodge-like feel with lots of wood, vintage-style chairs, and dangling white pendants. You’re here for the distinctive, surprising setting, not the thought-provoking mixology, so kick back with a straightforward, breezy Mojito or margarita." - Alia Akkam

This is the largest park in Lisbon, named in honor of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom following his visit to Portugal in 1903. It features formal gardens, greenhouses, and wide open paths—making it ideal for walking, relaxing, or simply enjoying nature in the city. At the top of the park, a scenic viewpoint offers sweeping views over Lisbon and the Tagus River. The park is also home to the annual Lisbon Book Fair, one of the city’s most popular cultural events.

It’s a great place to walk in Center Lisbon. There are nice play ground upon its periphery. It’s a great venue for seasonal festivals as well. The Park contains notable fountains and sculptures too, as well as the iconic Lisbon installation with view of the harbor in the distance.

I highly recommend visiting this park. The views are absolutely stunning and offer a great perspective of the city. I was lucky enough to be there when a festival started, which added to the vibrant atmosphere. It was a truly memorable experience, and I'm sure others would enjoy it as well. I hope to return someday.

The tower is pretty even if with the scaffolding some was covered. The area is very nice but it was dull of tourists. We visited on last Saturday of May. We reached the area with the bus from the North of the city and it took almost 1 hour. We returned using the tram 15e and it was much easier as quicker and with better aircon!

Google
Who the hell is rating this place 4 stars? It's beautiful and picturesque 📷 🤳. Just go, don't listen to the fools. If you love walks and the outdoors I highly recommend hitting up this spot. You can take a bus to the top and walk down if you don't want to have a hard time; the slope is about 10° - lots of side parks on the way up.

Beautiful open green space park with great views and wonderful walking paths with plenty of shade in the heart of the business district. It was contained a botanical garden we didn’t go through.

Google
It’s okay, it’s a garden 🤷‍♀️ the view at the top is nice and you should definitely visit the botanic garden in the top corner but the park itself is fine. It’s full of empty shopping units/market stalls during the day and I wouldn’t want to stay for too long. But there’s nice bits in it/nearby.

Great place to sit at. Walk your dog. Beautiful picture and when you get to the top there is a Lisboa sign and a water feature. All in all very beautiful.

Yelp
OK, I'm upping the star rating to 5 because we visited the Estafu Frio ("Cold Greenhouse") today, which was WOW!!! Truly an oasis in this busy city!! So, despite the unkempt grounds issue, the greenhouse makes up for it all...!!!

Yelp
Parque Eduardo VII is a park in Lisbon's northern part, super close to Marquis de Pombal and right next to the Parque metro station. It's got over 64 acres to explore and enjoy, with breathtaking views of Lisbon looking east. The park was built in the late 1800s and has a long, wide strip of grass in the center, surrounded by wide Portuguese-style sidewalks perfect for a leisurely stroll and soaking in nature. Families love to spend time here, and during Christmas, they even have an outdoor ice rink where you can ice skate to Christmas music. It was absolutely stunning the day we visited a few days before Christmas - a warm and sunny day that we'll cherish forever.

Yelp
My wife and I were here on a Gate1 tour. While the City bus tour took us here, we also went on our own 2 days later. Then we saw the 2-week Book Fair, which was interesting. We saw dogs splashing around in the heat, with their owners.

Yelp
On approach along Avenida de Liberdade, the park didn't seem like much, just a brilliant green mirage ahead of us with numerous pathways and a very steep uphill walk. But when you reach the pinnacle and look back at Lisbon, you'll see why this climb is worth every bit of effort! It's my favorite viewpoint in the city, even above the famed Miradouro das Portas do Sol. if you visit on the right day, the world's largest Portuguese flag will be flown at the top (northern) end of the park. Redesigned in 1945, the space covers 64 acres (26 hectares) in the middle of the city and is named for an English king. The Carlos Lopes Pavilion, leftover from the 1922 expo, can be found near the top as well.

Yelp
Amazing views of Lisbon await you at Parque Eduardo VII. Not too many visitors at the time I went in the middle of a Sunday.

Yelp
Hi running friends! Yes, I speak to the Yelp runners as I went there as tourist and another day as runner! I enjoyed both visits! But for the runners, this is a really nice place to finish your tour! Fan of challenges? Just go there! After your "climb" (as tourist and as runner), you will -FOR SURE- , be amazed at the stunning view of Lisbon and the Marquès de Pombal place! Of course, this is not the biggest park in town but the view is worth the climb! Shops and a "Corte Ingles" store are located nearby so you can combine this visit and nice walk with your shopping day! Enjoy!

Yelp
If you climb to the top of the hill the view makes for a great picture! Or if you exit out of the subway on the other side it puts you on the top side of the hill or a more friendly walk. Walk to the bottom and find pedal a gusto the lemonade/ orange juice stand for a nice refreshing drink!

Yelp
A cool park with nice fountains. Good for running round although one half of the lap is quite steep downhill and the other quite steep uphill.

Yelp
Parque Eduardo VII is located on the north side of Avenida da Liberdade, right behind the Pombal Marquis square. It's named after King Edward of England who came to Lisbon in 1903. It's a beautiful park but it can be very hot there and there is nearly no shadow.
