Parques del Río

A beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon with family, friends, or pets. Rollerblading, running, riding a rented bike, picnicking, walking. It was delightful.

Went to Parques Del Rio on the first day of the Ferias De Las Flores and it was great! It’s a big park with lots of greenery around. Very clean. Feels safe as there were a lot of police officers there. I see a lot of people exercising and there’s a ton of seating areas which makes it very relaxing. Overall a nice park near Laureles and in the middle of the city. You can also walk to downtown where there are a lot of shops.

Beautiful park in the middle of the Medellin valley. It’s very clean, open, and full of greenery. There are ample washrooms, seating areas, play areas for kids, bikes to rent, picnic areas, restaurants, etc. sometimes there are musical performances or dancing shows in the plaza. There are marked bike trails for a nice stroll on a Sunday morning.

This park is a great place for walking, running, or just a great place for a picnic. It is a beautiful place for taking photos because of all the different plants and great views of the surrounding mountains. It also has several nice restaurants and small street vendors if you get hungry or thirsty. Saw ppl flying kites and many families spending time together. The many police taking care made me feel very safe to walk around with my camera. I love that it's not as Touristy as other places in Medellín and was able to mingle with the locals in a calm and peaceful setting.

Low key my favorite park in Laureles and probably my favorite park in Medellin for everyday visiting. It's quite clean and beautiful next to the river. There's plenty of dogs for you dog lovers, interesting places to eat, and plenty of places to sit and lounge. It's enjoyable to be here whether in the daytime or nighttime, though I will say there's not much shade for the sunnier days. I love jogging here too.

The Christmas lights and displays were amazing. They also had a water show. They truly go all out and embrace the Christmas spirit.

Good place to come during the day for picnic, exercise, dog time, etc. It presents a nice along -the-river walk and multiple activities, cafes and restaurants. During December they set up the Christmas lights with beautiful decorations above the water, totally worth the visit!

This a fantastic park in the middle of the city. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon walking around and enjoying the greenery. It has places to eat at each end of the park with seating for people watching and plenty of restrooms. It also has nice spots to take pictures including the I love Medellin sign. You can also rent a bike to explore the park. Definitely recommend it.
