Parrillan Borough Yards

After days of classic pub food – fish & chips, burgers, steak pies – we found ourselves at Borough Yards, unsure of where to eat. The kids were tired and just wanted to sit, and as we waited opposite the restaurant, I decided to take the lead and walk us into Parrillan. It turned out to be a brilliant choice. The Spanish dishes were a refreshing change from our steady diet of British comfort food. Fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour, every plate reminded us how much we’d missed Mediterranean cooking. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, and the staff welcoming – exactly what we needed after a rainy day. Sometimes the best decisions come from instinct. Parrillan Borough Yards gave us the perfect break in our food journey and showed us a different side of London dining. A great spot to recharge, for adults and kids alike.

Great location, fantastic service and tasty tapas but a little bit on the expensive side for what lands on the plate. Please give Princess the recognition she deserves, she was incredibly attentive and personable with a great knowledge of the menu. Scallops were top tier as was the sea bream. Would return for business or when trying to impress.

Delicious tapas and a great atmosphere under the arches. Overall the service was also quite good. However, portions were ridiculously small considering the price charged and we had to order quite a lot to feel full. Now, when the bill came, this is where it all went downhill sadly…First of all, the discount we were promised wasn’t added so we had to send the bill back (possibly an honest mistake). After that, the waitress rounded out the bill quite liberally and overcharged us by £1.5. When we questioned this, she seemed clueless and simply replied that “it was easier to round out the bill like that as you decided to pay separately”. (?!!) Considering the fact that we also got charged a £1pp cover charge (for simply filtered tap water by the way…) and a standard 12.5% service charge on top of that, I found her attitude absolutely shocking! And to top it all off, when we asked for a refund, she actually presented us with another £1.5 sale bill! Fortunately her manager finally refunded us in the end but this left a sour taste at the end of the evening…Needless to say we won’t be coming back and we won’t recommend this restaurant to any of our relatives.

The service by Lati is amazing. The atmosphere is chill it is highly recommended to sit outdoors in the summer time. The scallop and the Lagarto Parrilada are the two dishes that I would highly recommend!

Visited for Sunday Lunch and sat on the terrace. As a Restaurant Manager in Mayfair, what really stood out to me is the extraordinary service. The staff are exceptional! Thank you to Trevon for looking after my family! The food is tremendous, ambience superb and we enjoyed a truly flawless lunch. Amazing restaurant!

We had a lovely lunch last week on a sunny day. Loved the tapas-style concept and the option to barbecue various skewers yourself on a small grill or have the chef do it for you — something we’ll definitely try next time! All the dishes we had were delicious, and our server was friendly and helpful, taking time to explain anything we were unsure about. On a hot, sunny day, it’s the perfect spot to sit outside and soak up the sun. Let me know if you’d like to make it more casual or shorten it!

WOW! What a spread! I felt like a queen eating here, the food as absolutely top tier. Great cocktails, great service, and an amazing location

Heard so many great things about this place, and it Exceeded expectations. Every plate was really delicious. Good non alcoholic options. Beautiful setting, and kept nice and warm outside, especially in the middle of Feb. Great service to Martina, Fatima, and Josh.
