Parsonage Inn

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the historic Parsonage Inn this past November. We were very glad with our choice. The property is just gorgeous and our hosts were most welcoming. Our room (The Haven) was lovely and very comfortable. We will be back. Thanks very much to Richard and Jo-Anne for your hospitality.

Jo and Richard were amazing hosts, So kind and helpful! The Inn was beautiful and full of character. Our room was so clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious everyday! They both go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect! We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary while in the Cape and had a wonderful time. The Inn is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and beaches. We will definitely stay there again!

We spent a delightful three nights at The Parsonage Inn while attending a family gathering in Orleans. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The inn is tastefully updated while retaining all the original charm of its 18th century heritage. Richard and Jo are a delightful and hospitable British couple. The breakfasts were excellent; coffee, tea and snacks are always available. I told a family member that I had almost forgotten that the inn wasn’t our home while we were there; that’s how comfortable we felt during our stay.

The loveliest bed and breakfast in Cape Cod!! The room is very clean and comfortable. The hosts are warm, welcoming and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. The breakfast is different everyday and made us look forward to getting up!

Stayed in Parsonage Cottage beginning of October for 4 nights with friends. Beautiful cottage with every thing you need. Fantastic location for exploring Cape Cod. Owners were so warm and welcoming, like old friends! They gave us some great tips on the local area, supermarkets, restaurants etc! We had an incredible time on Cape Cod made all the more special by the wonderful hosts and this beautiful property!

We had a delightful experience in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor. Comfy beds, very clean, nice and quiet. A few restaurants within walking distance and the market across the street was super convenient! Breakfast was delicious as well.

Beautiful! Cozy and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent location. Super clean everywhere. Nice spots around yard to sit in adirondack chairs and have a beverage. Nice family running the place. Beds are excellent - great support, great linens. Super silent mini split AC's in the rooms are spectacular.

We just ended a perfect 5 night stay at the Inn. The room was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The inn keepers are very friendly. We felt welcomed and safe during the extraordinary time (Covid) . The included breakfast was the BEST I've ever had.

Recently my wife and I did a concert (The Kami Lyle Sit-A-While Series) at The Cotuit Center For The Arts in Cotuit, Mass and stayed the weekend at The Parsonage Inn in East Orleans. What an absolute treat. Owner Richard Hoad, charmed us with his friendly conversation and delicious breakfasts! The Inn is spotless and cozy, in the style of a classic English cottage. It reminded me of my time over there while working on my first record album in the heart of the English countryside. I cannot think of a nicer place to hang your hat and relax while on the Cape. Fellow musicians, and travelers alike, do yourself a favor and book a stay at The Parsonage Inn in East Orleans! You won't want to leave.

I will be back. your host Richard and his wife are the warmest people you could meet. The breakfast is over the top. The rooms are clean and nice. Great location. I wish them lots of luck and success.

We stay in a lot of B&Bs and inns. The Parsonage Inn, Orleans is our new gold standard! The hosts Richard and Jo-Anne combine sincere warmth, with great historic accommodation, and delicious food. They have kayaks, beach chairs, the world's friendliest outdoor cat, and ample level parking in a verdant garden. We enjoyed our stay greatly, and you will enjoy your stay too. The location is great, with a superb farm shop across the street (their baker is world class) and a pub 2 minutes walk down the road for evening meals. Many good restaurants are a 2 minute drive away in the center of the village. Quiet, restful, and ideally situated. We give Richard and Jo-Anne's Parsonage Inn our highest rating. We just hope they have an open slot for us to book next time we are on Cape Cod.

Everything, and I mean everything, is top notch here. The hosts, the rooms, the food, the outdoor gardens, the location....couldn't have asked for a better stay and would recommend Richard and Jo's Parsonage Inn to anyone and everyone. So many little details are thought about from the decor to the super comfortable beds and pillows and front the toiletry selections to the breakfast spread. The homemade granola is absolutely addictive and they even have an option of oat milk? Wow. Loved the Keurigs in the rooms and the lounge area. Fruit is always available as well as other little snacks. Everything is super clean and tidy and I can't say enough great things about this inn. We will be back!

My husband and I just spend two nights at the Parsonage Inn. It was one of the nicest B&Bs we have ever stayed at. The room was up to date and very clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The inn keepers - Elizabeth and Ian Browne were extremely hospitable. They made of point of remembering our names. The breakfasts were fabulous - fruit topped waffles one day and a cheese souffle the next along with scones, fruit, ceral, etc. I would highly recommend this inn and will be back the next time we are in Orleans!

I highly recommend the Parsonage Inn! It was my second time staying here for a weekend getaway on the Cape, and I don't plan on staying anywhere else in the future. The B&B is beautifully furnished, and super comfy. Richard and Jo are wonderful hosts, and they cook you one amazing breakfast every morning! The Parsonage is close to beaches, shops and restaurants as well. It's just a great little place :)

My wife & I had a very pleasant, relaxing stay with a couple of friends at Richard & Jo-Anne's The Parsonage Inn in late October 2015. They are gracious hosts who have a clean, comfortable and well-appointed 8 bedroom home that's some 250 years old (and with 22" wide pine floorboards to emphasize it). Breakfast with real maple syrup is mid-size and well-presented. There is a large, common-area living room with a fireplace, books, complimentary tea, coffee and cocoa and even biscotti. It's in an excellent location in Orleans convenient to the beach, and within easy walking distance of a food and wine shop as well as several restaurants and an old fashioned pub. We've been twice now and look forward to a return next year. This is the ideal, classic B&B.

A wonderful intimate BnB that offered a warm welcome after a long trip. The location is excellent as it is across from a great deli/ market and away from traffic. The owners cooked up a delicious breakfast w stewed fruit and a crepes, and were delightful to chat with.

This is my favorite place to visit on cape cod! I have been visiting the cape for just short 3 years, and always feel so welcome with Richard and Jo. They are so accommodating and friendly. They have two common areas with water, coffee and tea. Breakfast is delicious, Jo is an phenomenal cook! Every recommendation Richard suggest is worth checking out. We will be back again.

My husband and I just spent a delightful weekend at The Parsonage Inn and we loved every second of it. The inn keepers were incredibly hospitable, cooking a delicious breakfast, offering suggestions of places to eat in the area and generally being very friendly. They have renovated the inn and every detail is perfect from the hardwood floors to the new bathrooms to the moldings around the doors and windows. The renovations are in keeping with the heritage of the house and the town. Breakfast is served either inside or outside on the patio. The patio is surrounded by greenery so you have the feeling of being on the English countryside rather than on Main St. in Orleans. Every detail was just perfect and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We fully plan to return and cannot recommend it highly enough!

A lovely inn and even lovelier innkeepers. Our room was clean and comfortable, and it contained every possible amenity. The breakfast was terrific too. HIghly recommended.
