It’s About to Get Even Easier to Go Lose All Your Money in Las Vegas - Eater LA

"There’s a fancy new ghost kitchen and food hall coming to Long Beach soon called Partake Collective. The project will offer kitchen space to new and existing brands along with a consumer-facing dining area and takeaway space. The Long Beach location opens in the spring of next year." - Farley Elliott

Thank you to the pastry chef (forgot her name 😢) but she has been a chef for 14 years. She had patience with all the kids, was kind, and demonstrated to them in a way they all understood. She was great! The girls loved it! I brought 4 girls to this class 12-9 years old and they had a 💥 blast

We ordered from Mochi Dochi this trip. This is a great experience. The ghost kitchens are upstairs, so you don't see the actual cooking going on, but there is a nice sitting area to wait, and even eat your food there if you like. The corn dogs were fresh, great tasting, and the cheese inside was nice and stretchy. The donuts were unbelievably tasty, fresh, and warm. We will come.back to try the other choices they have avaliable. Definitely a cool experience.

Hi the black male employee at the downtown Long Beach location was very rude for absolutely no reason! He yelled when I was simply trying to pick up an order! Ridiculous!

Such a different experience and welcoming vibe! I bought tamales and champurrado from a family owned restaurant in the building❤️ loved it!

Partake is a food hall with free street parking and two fully vegan ghost kitchens- Cena Vegan and Vegan Thai. The food hall itself is brand new, aesthetically pleasing and super clean. They have a dining room with cutlery, a water station and large windows. They also have restrooms down the hall and a “chef’s kitchen. Partake itself sells drinks and snacks so you can grab something and check out at the kiosk. When you order there, for example at Cena Vegan, you order at one of two kiosks. If you’re picking up an order, the order will be ready for you in a cabinet. There is a large tv screen that also has your name and cabinet number. If it all seems too confusing, there is someone there to help.

Very modern and convenient. The food choices are super varied. Great vegan options.

Ordered bu bu teriyaki online called partake and they said that it didn’t exist anymore, but still took my money, Asked about how I would get my money back and the man who was the manager seemed very confused on what he decided to tell me, first contact them, then I repeated I ordered it thru partake website then he said I would get refund thru themselves, then when trying to confirm the website of theirs he just repeated his non sense. So frustrated after he said allow 24 hours I said goodbye. If I don’t get my refund in 24 hours. I’ll contact again so I better get a refund from their “technician”

Yelp
My friend and I went to the Khemer (Cambodian) eating place. We had a lemongrass Smash Burger. It was amazing! The taste was perfect. We met the chef. He is a kind person. Try it out!

Yelp
Ramen District. I ordered my food at 2pm and then walked there for pick up. Arrived at 2:15 and they did not receive my order even though I had an email receipt and then a follow up email letting me know that my food would be ready at 2:17pm. I waited and the food was ready at 2:30pm. Supposedly their system did not show them which ramen I ordered (even though I see it on my receipt). I don't understand why they waited for me to arrive to ask, my phone number is on the receipt why not call me? Good thing it was not a delivery order. I ordered the chicken karage and decided to have a bite before walking home. I could smell it through the packaging that it was slightly burned. The batter is thicker than I like it and the meat just meh. Not juicy at all. Now that it's cooled down it's burned, tough, dry, and salty. I waited to get home to try the Tonkatsu Ramen. I hate to give a bad review, but it was not edible. The noodles were undercooked (it tastes doughy), the overall broth had a medicinal taste to it from the red ginger and the dye was seeping onto the egg and chasu. I'm not a fan of spinach in ramen and it was just ok. The chashu was not flavorful and was mostly chewy and fatty. Overall the flavor was bland. The egg was ok, but had no flavor. I'm bummed because it was over $30 with a 20% tip and tax. Not a great experience. Maybe it will be better for you! I should have just ordered Thai District, but saw that they had Ramen District advertised on their website and thought I'd give it a try since it's in my neighborhood. I also should have read the reviews first.

Yelp
I'm gonna be frank and to the point. The Cave is the spot to eat from. Thai District tried their hand at Ramen and are under "Ramen district." You can't find a separate location for them so Partake is gonna get this. Thai restaurants/cooks have no hand at making ramen. The chashu is thick and chewy - not melt in your mouth good. The "seasoned egg" is seasoned in pure soy sauce. It's not soft-boiled. The soy sauce of it completely throws the spicy tonkotsu off. Then comes the butcher string, that should not have left the back of house. They offered a whole new bowl but I'm kinda turned off 'cause this was supposed to be my comfort meal to help with me grieving my bunny and it was just all a miss. =/ We have better ramen nearby. Please find it.

Yelp
I'm giving Partake a 5, because I just popped in for a downtown Long Beach event and didn't really 'partake' of any of their vendors, other than purchasing a beer. So, 1) they sell various drink refreshments: canned beer, sake, water, wine, etc. 2) there's other items on sale such as beautiful chocolates (great gift idea if you think they're too beautiful to eat yourself) and some kitchen/dining items such as a beautiful charcuterie board and oven mitts. One enters from Elm Street and there is a 'host/concierge' desk to assist. Off to the left is a moderately sized 'dining' area with several long tables to accommodate groups of 4-6 as well as high tops and smaller tables to accommodate groups of 2. Most folks know the food vendors that operate in the 'ghost' kitchen i.e. visitors don't see a kitchen or food cooking area as in a fast food court but rather food 'appears' once it is made. One can order there at the kiosks located by the host station. As I understand it, most of the chefs are up on the 2nd floor. There are also food lockers should you arrive after your order has been prepared. There is also a large kitchen space on the first floor (believe this is where the cooking classes are held). It's a great addition to this neighborhood.

Yelp
CCIM X Partake Site Visit & Adaptive Reuse Case Study! Thank you to SoCal CCIM Chapter for today's Lunch and Learn @PartakeCollective. What a treat to hear first hand about the development of their Long Beach location and tour of the space. Partake offers various types kitchen space (by the hour, short-term or longer-term leases), has a convenience store section, and a dining hall for you to dine in. They will soon be offering beer / wine too. It was great to connect with other CCIM community members, and see top of the line equipment within innovative incubator space to launch new food adventures and undertakings. A true stand out was the fully equipped chef's kitchen perfect for up and coming chef's to host pop-ups! It had a beautiful dining / conference room area that seats up to 26 people. This place is absolutely stunning!

Yelp
This is Long Beach's newest ghost kitchen! Partake offers kitchen space, has a convenience store section, and a dining hall for you to dine in. I ordered from Mochi Dochi and Bubu Teriyaki Grill. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The Korean corn dog was so good, the sweet potato was so unique and tasty. The BBQ short ribs were so tender, juicy and flavorful! Can't wait to see what the future holds for Partake Collective! No parking lot but street parking everywhere!

Yelp
Overcharge with no follow through. I took a cooking class here and they charged me for 3 corkage fees instead of one. I flagged this for refund after the class and they took down my information but never made any attempt to correct the over billing. Very unprofessional.

Yelp
Didn't have great food options and the guy at the front desk didn't give any info on the place/ seating anything lol :/

Yelp
Cena Vegan arrives to Long Beach California in the form of a collective kitchen. Where you walk into partake collective to place your order on the kiosk, wait for your name to come up on the board, pick up your food from a locker, and grab a seat in their food hall. There's big windows all around for great lighting and you get to enjoy some brews as well. You can choose from Cena Vegan's Aguas Frescas or you can dive into the refrigerated section to pick out anything you'd like to drink. Their Long Beach location is one of two locations where you can find their Big Torta. If you haven't had a torta, this thing is the size of your face! Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer

Yelp
I second the other review on here about the $15 ramen. The broth was bland and the meat tastes like rubber. Also, it is not clear why Thai District is 1) making ramen and 2) even included when they have their own space a few blocks away.

Yelp
Great selections of food, from vegan to non vegan selections so you can go with your friends and enjoy some friendly board games while you wait for your food. Easy to order, can select from various restaurants and checkout all at once. From Mexican to Ramen to Thai food.

Yelp
THAI DISTRICT really got us with the $10 sticky rice and mango. Didn't even fill half way. For $10 I expected a whole container full with half of a mango not just 8 cubes of mango.

Yelp
Ghost kitchen or nightclub? This place is a nuisance if you live in the area. Atleast have a little decency and close your windows if you're gonna host parties. No respect for the people around them. It's really a headache. How is it the ghost kitchen venue is louder than the actual party venue next door? Make it make sense. I speak for everyone in a 1 to 2 mile radius. We hate this place.

Yelp
This is a beautiful space. Lots of choices. Special events. Sept 20 another event with Multiple vendors 5 to 9pm

Yelp
Pretty wack how we can't review individual restaurants. This is for Ramen District. It's basically slightly better than "good" instant ramen for $17. Also, it says on their menu it comes with egg, but it does not. No reason to go here when you can walk a few blocks and go to several other much better ramen locations.

Yelp
This is a new location in Long Beach East village. Approximately 5 restaurants with others on the way. I got an awesome burger from THE MAN CAVE and a nice note from Chef Juan and Chef Nicole I looking forward to going back , can dine in or to go Hoping community will support new establishments I gave it five stars because I'm excited for this new addition to the community and my burger was flavorful and temperature was just right. Going back for Thai

Yelp
I paid $12 for old lettuce and bad croutons. I also waited for them to make it "fresh". I didn't know what I walked into and never again.

Yelp
On the night of their soft opening, I had placed an order on their tablets and waited over 2 hours wondering where my food was. Since the place was about to close, finally some management asked what my name was looking to see where my order was and they never came back to notify me of any updates. I watched them leave the building hoping they would make some eye contact with me or give me an update and nope they just walked straight out the doors when they had just asked me 5 minutes ago what my name was. I had to ask another worker if they could see where my order was and they stated that they didn't see the order go through at all. Had management told me earlier that they didn't see my order in the system, they could've had the kitchen make my order on the spot, but the kitchen had closed by the time I had to ask for another update. I waited a total of 3 hours to not receive any food and management didn't say a word to me when they tried to provide "customer service". Update your systems and have a better way of tracking orders. I saw multiple people that night that went home without food waiting for hours because the system didn't process their orders fully. Also want to mention that they treat their employees terribly.
