"NYC mainstay Partners offers a full range of speciality coffee drinks, baked goods, and heftier meal options for breakfast and lunch. At the company’s Long Island City location, the kitchen serves breakfast burritos, wraps, and sandwiches, and there’s a selection of pastries available all day. There’s a breezy courtyard in the back and the space is equipped with Wi-Fi." - Erika Adams, Eater Staff

Nice cozy interiors . They also have a good size patio at the back. They have a full menu which it’s easy to miss. Dog friendly. Service was a bit slow but understandable, since they were very busy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Google
Such a cute coffee shop. Love the vibe; wood beamed ceilings and rustic feel with pops of bright color and a walrus head secretly on the wall which I’m sure is not true taxidermy. Stopped in only for a coffee. Ordered an iced flat white (whole milk) and it was so tasty —excellent coffee! It’s quiet enough to bring a laptop and work for a few hours. Music is breezy and a perfectly appropriate volume. Will be a top coffee shop in my regular rotation.

202405 One grape in the fruit cup has mold on it but otherwise the fruit is relatively fresh despite being a little crushed (and Inflation is real :< 9.85 for that) Black sesame latte is different from my expectation. Unlike the grey concrete-like ones I had before, this one uses “syrup” and a dash of sesame mix, instead of real black sesame. It’s sugared by default but not too sweet. To sum up, tastes like regular latte with a little toasted sesame taste. The line gets long after 1030 in the morning

This is one of my favorite cafe spots in the city. Especially as a neighborhood spot, I like to visit from Astoria. Pastries are always tasty, the coffee (even decaf) is delicious, and the service is friendly. What shines for me is the outdoor patio space. Their WC is also well equipped. I love visiting and will continue to do so. It's cozy inside and an oasis outside.

Google
Best coffee in LIC hands down! The outdoor patio out back is a lovely bonus, perfect for enjoying your favorite brew in a serene setting. Plus, the food options are delicious. Highly recommend for a delightful coffee experience with great ambiance!

Google
Wow! Probably the best egg sandwich I've ever had. Big. Flavorful. Made to order. Eggs were fluffy and fresh. Sausage was tasty. Bun was crispy and chewy. 2 thumbs 👍

Google
Nice coffee. Very cute coffee shop. But super packed on Sunday morning.. couldn’t get a indoor seat.

Google
Exploring the neighborhood stopped here for a quick breakfast. Walnut muffin and pretzel breakfast sandwich . Everything was very yummy, the matcha latte was a bit on the milkier side for me but none the less delicious.

Yelp
Wow, this was my first official visit to LIC and the walk, backyard patio at Partners with the cute dogs, and the cherry on top-the Black Sesame cold brew latte! I have read mixed reviews on Partners Coffee and wanted to order "right." I like how strong the black sesame foam was, but at the same time you can add a non-dairy option to the drink. This specific location is quaint and equal parts good walking distance to other cute restaurants and parks to have a lowkey day!

Yelp
A solid place to work/study on the weekday or meetup with friends on the weekend, though counter space is limited. The menu is pricey IMO but I've realized all the coffee shops in the area are. I must say my cappuccino was delicious. I don't drink coffee so often anymore so I loved the coffee taste. The food looked good but did not try anything. I would have ordered my usual, matcha latte, but I refuse to pay $6.5. Alternative milk is free though so that's nice. As for working/studying, there are no outlets here. There are a few tables that could probably seat 4 people and while most of them have single people posted up, usually people ask to share. The internet is solid.

Emily G.

Yelp
Partners coffee is a cute coffee shop that has a working space of several tables and a nice atmosphere. Their cold brew was good, and staff was friendly.

Jared W.

Yelp
The service was friendly, but my wife and I were not impressed by the coffee or pastries in our two visits. The espresso, Americano, and iced coffee were all fairly mediocre - a bit weak for all three with no notable tasting notes or flavors. We also tried a breakfast sandwich, which was solid, and a cookie, which was extremely dry and inedible. We got the Brooklyn blend, Columbia, and Ghost Town decaf instant coffees as well, but none tasted much different from store-bought, sadly.

Ting Z.

Yelp
Lattes here are very solid, good foam. I always know the quality is good when I don't feel the urge to add sugar haha. They have very good breakfast burritos too-- a little egg heavy but I didn't mind. Good flavor and eggs were nice and fluffy. Very filling as well.

Yelp
This was a great find for me when I was staying in Queens for work. It was a rainy morning and I was craving a good breakfast sandwich. Fortunately I was in luck when I walked in. It was pretty busy inside so I didn't get a chance to sit and eat there. I had a sandwich and an iced tea. The service was quick and friendly. I went back with it to my hotel and enjoyed. The sandwich was pretty egg dominant but it had a great flavor and the cheese was melted perfectly. Even in the rainy walk back, it was still very hot. I would've gone back the next day but really wanted to try a bunch of different places. But I will be back next time I'm in Queens.

Matthew H.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick drink on a weekend afternoon. There weren't that many tables inside so I picked a seat in the enclosed patio (?) area in the back to ponder my thoughts for a little while. It was fortunately not that cold so the patio was nice, but do be aware of the limited indoor seating when it gets colder and you want someplace warm to do some work. I ordered an iced matcha latte. First, why was it over $7. Sigh. Anyways, the latte was meh. It smelled and looked quite nice (I think good quality matcha powder) but ultimately was quite watery. I think there was just a bit too much milk and definitely too much ice that made the matcha flavour taste quite diluted and made the overall drink taste a little too sweet. Not the best matcha latte I've had but not the worst either. I don't drink coffee so I'm not really inclined to come again to try anything else, but it did seem like they had a decently popular selection of other drinks :)

Yelp
Decided to visit Partners Coffee because I saw a reels about Black Sesame Cold Brew Latte that they offer - turned out it was only on their summer menu BUT IT'S OK! The barista recommended me to try out one of their fall menu item - Brown Sugar Apple Crumble Latte, which was honestly so delicious. I asked to have half amount of syrup added and it was perfect. The staffs were efficient and friendly at this location and there is even an outdoor seating section in the back of the coffee shop! Planning to come back on the days I plan to get work done :)

Vivian Z.

Yelp
The atmosphere is calming and quiet. It's a nice place to work or meet with friends, as there are several tables and it feels relatively spacious. The decor is cute as well. Ordered the chai latte and almond croissant. Both of them were decent - my friend did have a black sesame cold brew (one of their seasonal flavors) that I'll go back to try. Service was good as well.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
It was my first time in LIC and a very brief pitstop. I wanted a quick breakfast. I ordered a matcha latter and breakfast burrito. I appreciate that they hella load up on protein but I wished it had more cheese and came with hot sauce/salsa. The San Diegan in me felt a little sad eating this with chipotle mayo...ha!

Judy L.

Yelp
Cozy and inviting space, with outdoor garden area in the back. Tried flat white, I've been to other partners cafe before so I'm familiar with the chain. Coffee wasn't bad but barista was a bit disappointing; knowing partners. Regardless, I enjoyed the space so I'll be giving it another try. Still enjoyed the space and coffee.

Yelp
This is kind of disturbing. I ordered an iced latte, hoping for a refreshing treat, but instead, I found a small piece of metal in my drink. Not only did this ruin the experience, but it also raised concerns about the safety and hygiene standards of the establishment. I hope they take immediate steps to address this issue and prevent it from happening to others. I like the coffee at this place, hoping this will not be an issue again.

Anthony P.

Yelp
Partners coffee is pretty legit. Got a oat milk cappuccino and the flavors blended easily with one another for a nice coffee experience. The coffee itself has this nutty, almost bright flavor (maybe chickory?) to it that definitely makes it taste distinct from other coffee shops, which I enjoy. Good place to do some reading. Yes for bathrooms, indoor seating, but no outlets. If I lived in LIC this would probably be a regular go to spot. They also have an outdoor seating area with tables in the back for when the weather is warmer.

Richard T.

Yelp
Partners coffee is another solid edition to the mix of coffee and cafe choices in the LIC/Queens Plaza/Queensboro Plaza area! Tried their flat white, oak latte, and "Coffee of the day" , which featured some cinnamon tones. None of the drinks were out of this world, but service was quick and I could see myself sitting down in the cafe to enjoy my cup! The cafe had plenty of seating, making it an ideal place to socialize or get some study work in !

Olivia S.

Yelp
Honest review, terrible place to work as they do not have outlets to charge your devices meaning once your laptop dies your stuck scrambling to find another cafe to recharge. The coffee (lattes) are of pretty poor quality and lack any real taste or flavor. I tried the Chai Latte which was watered down and the gingerbread latte which was also a total miss and $7.5 for a cup that would be better suited for a child. I tried the bacon egg and cheese and the sausage egg and cheese both were hearty breakdown sandwich but the egg which was plentiful lacked salt and pepper causing the sandwich to be very bland and mostly all bread. Not sure why this place has so many great reviews, the first 1 star is for the rustic decor. The second star is for its location in LIC, outside of that there's not much else they offer. Needless to say, sadly I won't be back.

Neezam M.

Yelp
This is just a brutally honest review, from someone who explores cafes trying to find the top 5 in the city. The first picture, is when we first got our coffee, a hot latte. No flavors such as vanilla, hazelnut, caramel. No issue, this wouldn't be the first cafe I went to where the flavors aren't offered. First issue, there were like 50 in house cups, but the to go cups were used instead. Kind of weird right? I get a lot of cafes have this look but only if they have NO, actual cups. Literally behind the counter are stacks of actual to stay cups. Second, the taste was absolutely HORRIBLE. I'm not sure if people order different drinks here, but the latte definitely from this location at least was a complete miss. Insanely bitter with no depth to the espresso. So bitter, you'd need just a touch of sugar; when added tastes better than originally but then, doesn't taste like a hot cup of latte. The second picture, is what we left. I'd usually guzzle my latte down and start rushing for more but this was horrible, we both threw our cups away. Overview- go to another location.

Cindy M.

Yelp
Cute interior and cups. Minimal seating area. Great friendly and quick service. Lots of options. Ordered an oat milk decaf. It wasn't as creamy as I was expecting it to be but it definitely warmed my soul. If you're looking for a delicious and creamy oat milk latte, I recommend walking down the street and going to No Stress Coffee instead.

Bijal R.

Yelp
Cozy, spacious coffee shop with lots of coffee options. Great place to get work done as well! Quick service

J L.

Yelp
I ordered a matcha latte with skim milk and it was made with almond milk. I just so happened to be sitting close to the counter and heard "almond milk", otherwise, I would have died this morning. The matcha latte with skim milk was pretty ass too.

Jenny N.

Yelp
Went here to get some work done. The first time my laptop wasn't charged and there were no outlets so I ended up leaving. I loved the backyard so I wanted to go back. I made sure my laptop was charged this time. The second time their wifi was "offline". I couldn't get work done again which was a bit frustrating. Maybe I stopped by at the wrong time/wrong day. I see others on their laptop so I don't how they're using it. It may not be the best spot to work at but it is definitely a nice place to grab a bite or coffee. Their latte was strong and milky. They do have self serve water on the side. There's also a bathroom. There's usually a line and it can get a bit crowded but there's always somewhere to sit.

Franceska R.

Yelp
Yum! Got the cold brew with almond milk and it was so good. Very smooth and the almond milk gave it a nice nutty flavor. Or maybe it was also the coffee? The place itself was amazingggg. Cute seating outside and inside.

Ami Y.

Yelp
I met up with a friend on the fourth of July for a quick brunch. It got pretty crowded with some line to the cashier at times but it went away sometime after. There were a lot of people, but it didn't get too loud to make it harder for us to continue the conversation. I got the breakfast burrito, which was pretty good but a little pricey as expected. It was interesting to taste the cold brew here because I caught a whiff of vanilla when I was taking the first sip, which doesn't happen that much. I was curious about the details of the flavor of the cold brew.

Yelp
If there's anything I love more than quality coffee, it's a good cafe that goes along with it. The former Toby's Estate turned Partners Coffee has slowly taken it's Brooklyn roots and firmly planted them into the LIC coffee scene. In addition to offering a superior product, they managed to take this space and make it into a solid destination for a sip, lounge, work, and meet. As noted, the space is very comfortable and offers a contemporary cool scene look while exuding very low key vibes. There are a decent number of seats, all equipped with outlets and reasonably fast WiFi. There is a nice bright view from the windows to the streets, and all sorts of coffee goodies (memorabilia, ground coffee, mugs, etc.) sprinkled throughout the store. I have to say, they serve a mean cold brew. It's not too strong, but it's potent enough where the average drinker should most definitely be sipping. Their iced matcha latte is also the stuff of dreams, even at a hefty $6 price tag. Their hot lattes are always subject to quality art from the talented and creative baristas. When this pandemic is over, I surely plan on stopping by for a little LIC people watching, a sip of a seasonal coffee drink, and getting some real work done while staying caffeinated.

Jessica B.

Yelp
I've been here twice and overall, it's okay. It's definitely hipster--as hipster as hipster can be. I order their cold brew with cream and lite syrup. Nothing complicated. I do like their almond croissant--I recommend. They have several tables and I observed people working on their laptops. The space is nicely decorated with exposed brick. As for customer service, it's okay, I guess--nothing really memorable. I didn't have to wait too long, so that's good.

Richa T.

Yelp
Absolutely love this coffee shop! Cannot wait to come back here soon. Pros: + Great vibes - the interior has a very lush decor + Friendly staff + Gorgeous exterior as well - perfect for summer weather + Great for studying and dates as well + Reasonable prices

Piboon T.

Yelp
5 stars! Coffee throat must visit! Nice coffee: we had americano and it hit my certain level of bitter and smoothness. Can't wait for the next drink. Location: LIC; dog lover island. Cozy, fine deco and especially backyard surrounded by the skyline building Price: reasonable. Staff: friendly, why coffee person is always be nice? Idk but Me too! Recommended

michael h.

Yelp
Omg was Apple mapping local coffee shops this came up and had to see it to believe it! It's all that I thought and then some. What a cozy atmosphere with like 30 foot ceilings and exposed brick! So warm and inviting. Especially on a rainy day. Service is so amicable and welcoming! And do I even have to comment on the partners coffee. C'mon now. Oh and they even half vegan blueberry muffins that are over the top delicious!

Ling C.

Yelp
My coffee meetup group had a tour of best coffee shops in LIC; this was one of the stops. I like how strong their coffee was; it was robust. I would had prefer it with cream. However, the organizer wanted to test our taste buds. For a Saturday afternoon, this cafe was packed. (pre-covid) I highly recommend coming here for their backyard space. It was a perfect place to enjoy their coffee.

Rina D.

Yelp
Decent place for coffee in LIC! Staff was nice and friendly, and my order came out pretty fast. Right now they do have limited indoor seating and that threw me off a bit but I hope that more seatings become available once omicron calms down! I did think that the hot latte did have a bit of a bitter aftertaste but some people may be into that as coffee really is personally preference!

Justin R.

Yelp
Love the high ceilings! This spot has a nice warming interior and plenty of coffee options from pumpkin spice lattes to cold brew to lattes. The food is decent but the sandwiches are made ahead of time that wrapped up for later so not much truly fresh food. Service was decent, nice and quick and produced a quality cup of coffee. The best part of this place is really that they have an awesome courtyard with plenty of tables and high fences so you feel enclosed. Overall, highly recommend for some nice coffee in the courtyard but I would stay away from the food.

Tiffany F.

Yelp
4.5 stars TL;DR Great coffee shop, interactions with workers a hit or a miss (likely dependent on your personality, COVID-era, weather) A small, clean coffee shop located in the heart of Long Island City, next to numerous residential buildings/businesses. We ordered the mocha and hot chocolate- pretty good, no complaints. Offers pastries & some breakfast burgers. Service: It wasn't busy when I went, so we got served quickly...service seems to be a hit or miss with some folks and I can see why...I'm from California so baristas & coffee shop owners there would always greet us with a "Hey! Good morning, how was your day, etc" but NY-ers don't really do that haha. Interactions with the workers were concise and they don't really greet you. Really depends on your personality...some people just wanna get on with their day and leave the greetings to a bare minimum. COVID: Strictly implements a policy of 4 guests in the store at a time so just peek through the door to make sure it's okay to go in. What used to be the in-door seating area is now filled with merchandise, food, and coffee machines/accessories that you can look at & buy.

Chen H.

Yelp
On my first visit, I was totally amazed by the wide variety of products that they carry - from coffee to pizza to margarita and to tea cups. Yeah, this is way more than a coffee shop, unlike the name suggests. Among the items that I have tried so far, the almond croissant is the absolute winner - perfect crispy/shelly texture, plus the dainty sugared and finely chopped almonds on top... hmm heaven! I have tried some of the specialty coffees, they are tasty as well, though might be a bit too bitter for my taste (I'm sure someone who likes a stronger coffee would find them quite pleasing though). Also wanted to mention, the store is very good at their Covid measures. They limit the number of people being in the store at the same time and they mark on the floor where you should be standing while waiting.

A D.

Yelp
This place is too cute! I love the clean inside seating area, and the pretty backyard area outside. I was told the kitchen closes at 2PM, so you must arrive before then if you want to try the food out. The coffee and the iced matcha are delicious. Overall it is always a great experience to leave Brooklyn to visit this place. Thank you for my birthday reward! It was nice to order a drink and celebrate.

Martina S.

Yelp
This is not meant as an insult, but, I'd have Dunkin' Donuts over their cold brew any day. The coffee just wasn't good. I told the gentleman behind the counter I wanted a strong, bold cup of coffee without ordering espresso; he suggested their cold brew. I did appreciate the two for two cookies during happy hour. However, the chocolate chip cookies are VERY rich even for this chocolate loving girl. I could have easily shared this cookie 4 ways. I guess it's ok for a neighborhood spot but I wouldn't return. Sorry, not sorry. I'm honestly stumped by all of the 5 star ratings Side: greeting your customers as they enter would be nice.

Pavithra R.

Yelp
Stopped for a quick brekkie ! Ordered an Avo toast, kale and sundries egg toast and a latte. Pros: Ambience, presentation and complimentary fruits. Cons: not much veg options Sans egg and but pricey.

Pooja S.

Yelp
The coffee and the mocha here was great! The ambience was cute with pleasant vibes. The service was good too!

Juan J.

Yelp
Love Partners roasters! One of the best coffee shops in the city, always enjoy coming here and getting breakfast while running errands

Matt M.

Yelp
So I've been here almost 10 times and while it's really nice to have a Partners in the neighborhood, the employees here don't really seem to have a soul. Every single time I've encountered somebody that seems miserable to be working there with a permanent frown and short unwelcoming one word replies to menu questions. They all seem to joke amongst each other and when they have to face a customer (not just me) it immediately reverts back to monotone frowns. It's frustrating as I've been to other locations and I've started to avoid coming here so the employees don't kill the mood of an otherwise good day.

Mustafa Y.

Yelp
Maybe if you're in the area... but otherwise I'd stick to my fav coffee shop and head to Astoria for the Kinship spots. I like the cups here, and they pull nice shots. But I didn't like the milk to coffee ratio in my drink and the foam wasn't that amazing top notch micro foam you get from some places. They also ask for your name and I find that really annoying and very much a Starbucks thing.

Andres O.

Yelp
SPACE - seats available, clean, lofi vibe SERVICE - friendly, approachable COFFEE - fresh, variety offered, beans for sale Ice Americano - refreshing, smooth, cacao notes. NOTES - would recommend, would come again

Kenny C.

Yelp
Super cute cafe with a huge backyard, seating inside, and a big parklette out front! Staff is super nice. They have pastries and small plates as well. Got a nitro cold brew to go, and it got me through the day! Super nice staff too.

Najin K.

Yelp
Covid review: This is a clean modern cute coffee shop with the words cutest back patio pre covid. During covid they allow 4 guest in the store at a time and enforce the limit (thank you). Since their sitting space is cleared out in the store there is more of a mini local product market inside with cookies, jams, chips, and even dog snacks. I've tried multiple bags of beans and even their lighter suggested roast are pretty dark in flavor. The coffee they serve on the regular is also a really dark flavor profile, not my preference but my partner enjoys it. They also sell sandwiches and baked goods here.

Craig H.

Yelp
Had a great breakfast burrito and very good coffee. Great place to do some work. With friendly baristas and good service.

Kristen T.

Yelp
Delicious coffee and cute hipster vibes. This place is usually always packed with locals. A great addition to LIC. I enjoy their Americanos although priced on the steep side. Coffee and food are presented to a T. The pastries they serve are also good but are small in portion for the amount you pay. On the flip side, I don't really enjoy coming here because there are no outlets! If I'm bringing a laptop, I'd have to work really fast and hope my battery won't die. Sometimes you do need to share a table up front because of how crowded it gets. Not my cup of tea unfortunately. But! If you're into chatting and meeting up with friends, Toby's Estate works well for a get-together. I have been to the backyard where there is lots of tables and seating like staying at someone's home. It's more of a social coffeeshop. Accepts card and cash. No outlets! WiFi available. Bathroom in back. Drink up!

Theresa S.

Yelp
Excellent Coconut Yogurt Parfait and the Matcha Latte was delicious. Nice atmosphere. A little busy, had to wait for a seat but it was worth it.

Li W.

Yelp
My boyfriend got a regular drip coffee and I got a Pumpkin Pie Latte. The drip coffee is on the more acidic/sour side, not a big fan. The Pumpkin Pie Latte is very delicious! Not too sweet like Starbucks, so I appreciate that. They accidentally Made the Pumpkin Pie Latte with whole milk the first time, and then I told him that I asked for almond milk, so they made it again. I have to say, the Pumpkin Pie Latte with whole milk is actually a lot more delicious than the one with almond milk. Way creamier. Overall great vibes, good customer service and pretty good coffee.

Rianna R.

Yelp
A bit of a wait getting in with the 4-person limit, (though definitely appreciate that that they have that)! Space inside is cute, and it's nice that they still have a little shopping section open to browse while you wait for your coffee. Outdoor space has a few tables if you want to sit and drink, which was nice while we waited between apartment viewings. Service was just a bit crabby, but the coffee was pretty good.

Alina H.

Yelp
This place is just a block from my apartment and my partner and i were intrigued to try it based on the good reviews and the cute setup of morning coffee and brunch goers every time we pass by. We came in on a Saturday morning. Having our order placed in advance, we were able to just pick it up at the counter and decide whether or not we wanted to dine in or takeout. We peeked outside to their backyard cafe and its picturesque backdrop alone are worth coming back for. The place was packed so we opted to enjoy our breakfast at home. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito and Pancetta and Egg Scramble sandwich. The Pancetta on the sandwich was thick and eggs were cooked well. My fiancee enjoyed the breakfast burrito which came accompanied with a side of fresh fruit. Overall, the breakfast was good, but not something I would run back for. I've had their coffee in the past too, and same. Like most other coffee shops, sandwiches are premade and you cannot request substitutions, so those with allergies or picky eaters beware. Its pricey, so not having the option to change an item is also a bummer. Its a good place to stop in from time to time, or meet w friend for coffee, but I dont see myself being a regular. There are so many small businesses just a few blocks away that make sandwiches to order and brew up great blends that I would rather give my patronage.

Maram A.

Yelp
This place is lovely and the fact that it is next door to a popular pizza restaurant is even more reason to make a trip here. The decor is rustic and laid back. The music is relaxing, loud but not in a disruptive way. They keep their coffee simple, no caramel or syrupy flavors. The only unique drink is the fake rosemary latte. The star here is the coffee so it is probably better to stick to the original. They also have iced tea which seems to be very popular here. Several patrons ordered it. They sell hot teas too which they make wirhvtea leaves (not bags). I ordered the cappuccino and a pistachio agave cookie. I was so happy to hear that they add two espresso shots to their drinks. I like my coffee strong. Since I dont add sugar to my coffee the sweet pistachio cookie was perfect with it. The coffee was smooth and the cookie creamy from the oils in the crunchy pistachio. Customer service is friendly but slow only because they are busy though. So even though you're waiting a bit for your coffee you are getting a well executed cup. Mera's Tip: start your morning/afternoon with Toby's coffee.

Lodoe S.

Yelp
Had to wait over 20 minutes for a breakfast burrito when the place wasn't busy....and staff was not helpful, would NOT come here for food
