"Party Cake Bakery is the lovechild of two Cuban bakers who met in the bakery department at Publix, where Olga and Juan Montano gained serious acclaim during their time there. They've been making decorative cakes and Cuban pastries since 1993 and have expanded the bakery to nine locations in Miami." - Amber Love Bond

I learned about this bakery on TikTok and made sure to put it on my list for my next trip to South Florida. I was not disappointed. The pastries are amazing! The ladies who were working were very helpful, despite my clumsy attempts to communicate (I do not speak Spanish) and we were very glad we went out of our way to visit the location near FIU.

Party Cake bakery on 107 ave & coral way. One of the last surviving bakery with real bakers. Bread, pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice always fresh & excellent taste. I'm a frequent shopper and always pleased never a bad experience.

One of the best Cuban Bakeries in town. Fresh and mouthwatering deserts and pastries. Good quick service as well.

Google
Worst website EVER!! Could not find a menu that had their offerings with any info at all. Item out of date when we called. Why have a website if you’re not going to do any upkeep. Very disappointing!!

I’ve been a regular here for about 3 years. Over the past couple of months there’s been some changes with the staff. Just generally unfriendly. They had a few ladies up until recently that were a pleasure to deal with. And I would always gladly tip wellas a made the experience special. Over the last couple of months you walk in and no one says hi. The lady attending the register is borderline rude, una pesada. Also something along the way on the food has changed. The pastelitos Look very pale lately, also not as shiny missing that glaze they put on top. Almost like CAO Which I hate undercooked pastelitos. I hope ownership reads this note because it’s a shame that this particular location has fallen off the the past couple of months.

I just love their Cuban bread and their homemade croquettes. They are so kind to bring it to my car since I am on oxygen. You MUST try this little gem of my neighborhood.

Yelp
Worst place apparently they never want to make pan con bistec. I just had a bad experience when ordering a pan con bistec they just told me that they were done making it. I was also reading past reviews and apparently they told them the same thing. People are just lazy wow.

Yelp
The place is the worst!!! The food is old and cold. The ladies working there have a terrible attitude. They are unhelpful and seem bothered when people complain about the disgusting food they are putting out. The place is clean but that becomes irrelevant when you're paying for food that has been sitting there for hours and they say they can't make fresh egg sandwiches.

Yelp
Extremely terrible I order a cake one week before pick up date and when I went to pick up they tell me that they don't have my cake! Not professional at all So don't count on this place for any cake for party's!

Yelp
Perfect little bakery right by FIU in Miami. My boyfriend and I like to go to Party Cake for our breakfast fix. Small family owned business but everyone is very friendly and they are pretty quick! At least you can see they are trying to be. My boyfriend usually gets the Pan con Huevo (egg sandwich) and I get their classic breakfast which includes eggs with ham, Cuban bread with butter, and Cuban coffee for like $4? It's great! Their croquetas de jamon are another favorite. Great place for breakfast, sandwiches, pastries, and desserts!

Yelp
Sunday morning store was packed line was out the door and only 2 employees were working this morning very nice but slow. But honestly that's not what I'm complaining about, the pastelitos we ordered have no filing with so much competition you would figure that you might to fill up your pastelitos I feel ripped off to be honest I thought it was a mistake last time but I can back again and it's the same I don't understand, they have much potential but go very cheap on the filling.

Yelp
Sadly this bakery that I and my family have gone to for many years double charged me and 2 months later I am still waiting for my refund. So I got $30 of pastries and was charged twice so I paid $60 for $30 of pastries. I have been to and called several times even leaving my information - proof of Reciept /bank proof and nothing has happened. The manger has never returned my calls and I guess doesn't really care too much about customer service/loyalty. Just a heads up people. Never going again and they just lost 5 families business.

Yelp
What can I say the food it's delicious and fresh, but the worst customer service I've experienced my whole life. Rude Rude Rude

Yelp
I absolutely love this bakery's pastelitos. They are the most delicious pastelitos in all of Miami. My favorite the cheese pastelito. It has sugar that is perfectly caramelized on the outside and the smoothest creamy center. Not curdled like other places. Also, the puff pastry is tender, flaky and baked to perfection. It does not have that nasty margarine taste or color like other bakeries, such as Pinecrest bakery. I never leave this place without spending at least $20 and it takes a lot of product to reach that price! I love it! Their Cuban bread is super yummy and exactly as it should be. Their croquetas are not the best, but they are not horrible either. Rinconcito has better ones. But you cannot go wrong here... EVER

Yelp
This place is very understaffed so the customer is ignored. Actually before they were understaffed they never really had good customer service. The attitude here is "what do you want? Here it is now leave". Don't even dream of getting a "thank you". Too bad cause the cakes and pastelitos are very good.

Ileana B.

Yelp
I love there cafe con leche and all pastelitos. The service is great! Their tortilla are great!

Yelp
I have been ordering a large order of Cuban bread to make sandwiches for find raising for over 20 years. Through the years I have seen the decline in customer service and care for the customer's need. While the price have gone up. Today I came to pick up my order of 70 Cuban breads and 15 French baguettes at 7:00 am to find out that the baker decided that it was too much work for him to Mark the breads in 4 equal parts. As I explain to the attendant this the reason why I pay $0.40 more. They could care less. Now I'm leaving with a smell on my clothes as I been cooking all day and not what I order. NEVER AGIN DO I COME BACK TO TUIS PLACE. THE WORST CIBAN BAKERY IN TOWN.

Michael J.

Yelp
I have been a loyal customer to this business since I was a young boy. Best breakfast that you can get for cheap in my opinion. Croquetas are to die for and the pastelito of guava is my favorite treat. Can get hectic with the parking and sometimes if you don't speak up you might not get served as quickly.

Yelp
The Best. I mean the Best Pastelitos. Not too happy with the single serve pastries. But there cakes are also really good. Great Fresh Cuban bread all the time. The also have a small sitting area to eat in. Great Staff!!!

Barbara M.

Yelp
This bakery has been around for a long time. Their cakes, pastellitos, croquetas and all the sweets they make are consistently good. The staff is always friendly.

Yelp
This spot is by far my favorite Cuban bakery. The pastelitos, especially de queso, are the best around. You follow that up with great Cuban coffee, service, and friendly regulars and you end up with a perfect taste of exiled Cuban culture. They serve all the fixings necessary to start your day at the right price. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars. Only because parking can be full at times.
