Driving through we seen the sign and decided to stop in,,, so glad we did. Very clean restaurant with a incredibly polite and knowledgeable server. Never had to wait a second on refills . The food. . Great selection, especially if you like flavor with a little or a ton of spice, I had the Nashville hot country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and the mac n cheese. Huge portions , packed with flavor and bring on the heat. The hottest sauce they have is called poultryguest and wow.... hottest around. A definitely must stop if you are in Nashville.

We’re visiting Nashville and wow. They have Nashville chicken like nothing other. You need to come here for happy hour Sunday - Friday 3-7 pm. Half off beer $3 wine and other stuff. The mash potatoes were really good as well. Staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations. Spicy is a little spicier than normal so don’t be cocky with the spice level. 10/10

Hot Chicken Heaven !!! I had a chance to stop in at this Party Fowl location during a visit to the area. I have had Nashville Hot Chicken all over Canada and the US, so I'm always looking for Hot Chicken wherever I go. On this trip to the Nashville area, I sought a new spot to try. I Googled Hot Chicken near my hotel as I was on my way to the airport. I found a few places, but most of them I have tried already. I recalled seeing a Party Fowl at the airport, but I had never tried their chicken before. Party Fowl has locations in Tennessee and now one location in Florida. They have been making great chicken for years, so I made it a point to check them out. I went to the Donelson location as it was closer to the airport. It was a warm sunny day, with the patio open but I decided to eat inside anyway. I went to the bar and was served by a warm and friendly bartender. She helped me go through the menu and pick a classic a-la-carte portion of Hot Chicken with some classic sides. My chicken was a full breast, and I chose Hot as my spice level. The meal came with an order of warm, crispy fries, Mac N Cheese and a side of gravy for the fries. This chicken at Party Fowl is outstanding, it's a great version of a Nashville Classic. Everything on my plate was perfect. My service was excellent and the restaurant overall is a great place for friends, family and the solo diner. If you're ever in Nashville and looking for amazing Hot Chicken, put Party Fowl on your list.

I got the Po' boy and didn't like it - still eating this place 5 stars. Here's why: The place was clean and the workers were friendly. It was a pleasant and efficient service. I wanted Nashville hot chicken and wanted a place that would offer it on my stop in this city. Found this place randomly so I followed it. I can tell the food I ordered (Po' boy) was well-made, but it just isn't for me. The chicken was amazing - juicy and flavorful. I willingly let that delicious stuff fatten me up, but I was just not a fan of the baguette. I wanted a soft bread to paid with the chicken, not a crunchy roll that left flakes everywhere and cut the roof of my mouth. I didn't do my research, but the bread was too hard, but that's exactly what a Po' boy is supposed to be, as I later learned. I took some of what my son ordered as dad tax and it was also AMAZING. On my next visit, I'm gonna get that because I can't stop thinking about it a few weeks later.

Service was extremely slow but food was good. My crispy chicken was good, but the skin did fall off😐. If you eat hot food often, then get the hot and above. If not get mild and they say the sauces run hot. Fries were really good but the beignets were missing something. I would come back though.

Had dinner here on our last night on Nashville. Hubby had the gumbo and collard greens and I got the hot chicken. The chicken thigh was juicy but the breast was a little dry. Not too hot but flavorful. Service was fast and friendly.

Great place to experience the infamous “hot chicken” in Nashville. My husband got the mild half bird, yummy I must say, and I got the medium spice chicken po boy. I was not disappointed. Reservations can be made but, they must be made a day in advance. Just a heads up for any of you who prefer the reservation route when dining out.

Party Fowl in Donelson offers a great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options. They have an impressive selection of drinks, and best of all, the beignets are amazing! The chicken can be as spicy as you can handle. Our group sat outside, and while the experience was enjoyable, the barstool stain did come off on my pants and took a while to remove. Despite this, I would go back again next time I'm in the area. ---

I'm new to the Donelson area, and this was the first restaurant I tried and it's very solid! After a couple times the quality of the food went down a bit, the tenders were dry a couple times and when asked to replace them they brought out more dry tenders. Highly recommend the chicken fried chicken!

Honestly, the ONLY redeeming quality of this place is the servers. Nashville hot tenders were dry AS HELL, bland, not warm temp wise. Collared greens were terrible. Even the ranch dressing sucked. This location was a great recommendation by a friend of the family while we were in Nashville looking for a "Nashville Hot Chicken" experience. The Donelson spot was especially convenient on our way to visit the Opryland Hotel for holiday fun! The dining area was spacious and it was easy to fit our group of nine without a wait - something we weren't expecting to find anywhere without a reservation. If we came in warmer weather, the outdoor patio would have been a great spot, too. The entire group loved their orders, which ranged from Nashville Hot Chicken in tenders, tacos, quesadillas, and sandwich form, with many folks loving the macaroni and cheese and pickles, especially. I ordered the Pimento Cheese appetizer, served with pickles, bacon jam (SWOON) and saltines, with a side of their DELICIOUS fries (ultra-thin and seasoned to perfection) and couldn't stop smiling after each bite. My order was SO GOOD, it's the kind of thing were I know I would want to try other things on the menu, but if I ever visited again I wouldn't be able to turn down the Pimento Cheese snack attack again. [my mouth may be watering just thinking about it now.]

We love this Party Fowl! It's great for bigger groups and their food and service is always really good. Lots of fun and local drink options as well! We had Savanna yesterday for brunch and she was amazing! She was super nice and provided amazing service even though we were a big group with separate checks. Overall 4/5: Was our first stop when we made it to Nashville from Atlanta, we were in town for my friend's birthday. Was excited to revisit party fowl after years since my last visit to Nashville. Good food, good service. Food 4.8/5: I got the smoked wings with a side of mac and cheese. The smoked wings were cooked perfect, very nice and tender. Docking some points because what i was really craving -- the mac and cheese could've used a little crust on top with a broil. Last i remember they had a great broiled mac and cheese. Still great flavor. My friends had the hot chicken and beignets, and the tenders. The tenders and the hot chicken were more on the dry end than the wings. Some dishes were complimented with cole slaw, which I think is essential when having hot chicken. Service 5/5: Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out quick. There was a wait, but not too bad seeing as they were packed and we were a large group. Vibe 5/5: It was cozy inside, very fast paced environment. Casual, almost sports bar vibes with all the tvs. Very fun spot to enjoy some hot chicken with friends. It was clean, and in the waiting area they had some fun things to do while waiting like skee ball and claw machines. Parking 4/5: Could be better, there was little to no spots which almost made us not go. Thank you, Party Fowl!

I absolutely loved Party Fowl. First, I had a great local cider that was a great blend of apple and cinnamon. I can't describe it fully, but it had tons of flavor and will be on my list for the next visit. Be sure to listen to your server about the heat tolerance. She was very honest about the spice level and didn't want our table to get the wrong thing. The mild has more kick than a normal mild - beware. However, the hot chicken is great and hot. Don't skip out on the sandwich, but really, the bread is just a vessel to get more of the sauce, the chicken could (and does) stand alone.

Brought some business partners that were from out of town here on business to eat lunch. Quickly seated and staff was friendly. Ordered the chicken fried chicken. They have different levels of heat, but trying new places, I always go a level down, or two, from my normal. Two of us ordered mild, and one got medium. The first couple of bites are really good, not overcooked and tasty. Then the heat kicked in, and I mean kicked in. Two of us didn't finish the meal, and the third kept talking about how hot his was. The greens were good, and the Mac and cheese was top of the line. Doug waited on us and did a great job.

It was my first time at Party Fowl and eating Nashville Hot Chicken. I ordered the Chicken Tenders (mild) with Mac n' cheese and a side salad...lots of ranch for both. The chicken tenders were nice juicy chicken breast tenders. The mild had a nice burn to it but I think I enjoy buffalo tenders better (sorry Nashville). The Mac n' cheese was very good; just like homemade with no velveeta!! Our server was excellent, just wish I remembered his name. Beware that the sauces, as they go up the scale, are not for the faint of heart! It's a cute place with big tvs to watch football but it gets loud when a game is on!

Food was decent. The grit cakes were AWESOME but the poutine was MUCH smaller than we expected it to be and the chicken was insanely spicy. My husband comes to Nashville for business and has ordered the Nashville hot chicken here before and loves it. I'm not into quite that spicy so we ordered medium. It was so hot today neither of us could eat it. I was coughing. I'm not sure if that marked it wrong or what but it was crazy spicy. The waitress was amazing and made it right but even the "mild" was super spicy. She did say all the sauces were "hotter than normal" today. That seemed like an odd thing to note. Service was great but the portion size and the abnormally over-spiced chicken it was a bit of a bummer.

The food here is REALLY good! The service however, could use some work. I came here with my family and we were told it would be about a 30 min wait. No big deal, and we ended up getting a spot at the bar after just a few minutes. Good thing we did, because I never actually received a text saying our table was ready :/ This place was also severely understaffed. I felt bad for the one bartender who basically was the bartender and waitress for the entire upstairs. I ordered the chicken & beignets which was such an amazing combo. Unfortunately they messed up the spice level with my meal and my mom's, so mine were too mild and my moms were too spicy. (She wanted the tenders, and mine came with a bigger piece, so we couldn't just switch). The chicken was great and the beignets were good, but not cafe du monde good ;) Overall a solid option, and I was pleasantly surprised with how cheap all the food and drinks were!

This was a really good hot chicken experience. I have been to the area for work in the past and when I saw this place I thought is was more of a bar. I did not have experience with Nashville hot chicken until a few months ago but I found that I really like it. We were seated immediately and our server came right away to get our drink orders. We started with appetizers, I got the grits cakes. this was a lump of grits, fried to a perfect brown served with a sweet sauce on the side. It wasn't sweet like syrup, just enough to add to the flavor. For dinner I had the hot chicken and cheddar. I didn't want the brioche bun it came on and asked for the texas toast( they had this for a different sandwich), the server was happy to make that happen. The only miss was that she told me the spicy runs a little on the hotter side saying that mild was closer to a medium. I thought the mild was very mild, while I could taste the spice there was no heat. I usually go to at least medium and should have stayed with my normal routine but that is on me. The chicken breast was huge, the bacon was thick sliced. This would be something I would have again, although there are so many different great choices.

Oh this was good. Good place to go for lunch because of the quick service and good food. The parking situation is a little of an issue but with the parking lot across the street, it affords you an opportunity to park without "Circling the lot". Before I ordered my chicken sandwich, I wanted to test the temperature or "tastiness" of the sauce. Or waitress very willing to give us a sample. The hot sauce was perfect for me because I didn't feel like having bubble gut. A wonderful visit with fabulous food.

My Son recommended this place so we decided to check it out. We arrived for brunch after driving several ours from Chicago. The place was very crowded so parking was tricky. We found parking across the street. I guess this there overflow parking. We had no reservations but we're sat in about 25 minutes so it was not to bad. The waitress was very nice and answered all our questions. The place was crowed I guess there was a big soccer game on tv so the crowd was all lite up. LOL Lots of family parties and everyone was enjoying there time there. They have outdoor seating but we sat indoors. The food came quickly and looked so good. I had the mild heat and I'm not a person who likes heat. So I'm my opinion it was just a little on the spicy side. Very very greasy but I knew that from the start. I Had the Hot Chicken n Cheddar and I'll have to say it was one the best Chicken Burgers I have ever had. Everyone in my party said the same about there food. I definitely recommend this place if your staying or just driving through Nashville. There is one thing It's a little on the pricey side but it is good food. We had a party of three and it was almost $100.00 and we had no liquor. I will come back when I'm in the area again.

So I am not completely sold on hot chicken (I know, I know), however, I did find Party Fowl to have an excellent menu selection that offered more than the standard chicken and sides. I liked that they had an option to serve their hot chicken with beignets, not something I have seen before. The chicken was juicy and beignets a tasty accompaniment to the spice. Came here with my husband for brunch. They have $2 mimosas on Saturday and Sunday, or a double for $2 extra. The food was good, I orders the chicken tenders (Nashville Hot) with fries. It was really good and flavorful , I love Spivey so it wasn't too much for me, especially with a side of ranch. There were o my 2 servers which made the service kind of slow, like checking in and making sure we were ok. Waited 20-30 minutes for our sever to come by our table to just ask for our checks. She walked by and I tried to get her attention but she never stopped my our table just the table beside us, that was a bit annoying not going to lie. The food was good but the service was sub par, which is disappointing. I hadn't been to this location for years and was super excited to try it again. Not sure if it was bc we were upstairs vs downstairs, but not sure when I will be back.

My son had just arrived at the airport, he'd been out of town for two weeks. "Are you hungry? What sounds good?", I asked. "Well dad, we are in Nashville so..." This was the closest hot chicken spot along our route back to Paducah. We stopped in at 4pm on a Monday, so it was pretty slow. We had good service, and the atmosphere was good. The parking is a little strange, the place is kind of built in a Y intersection. The food, though, let's talk about that. He had a chicken sandwich, MEDIUM was his heat level. It was still pretty spicy, but that's to be expected. The bun was really thick and kind of dry. All in all, the sandwich just wasn't juicy enough. I had the wedge salad with bleu cheese and it was okay. The cut of lettuce was really from the whitest part of the head, but I can deal with that. I doubt I'll be back, but the beer selection was good!

Couldn't leave Nashville without trying some real hot fried chicken, and Yelp led me right to Party Fowl! Amazingly enough, it was only a few minutes away from our AirBnb also. We came Sunday afternoon and we're able to get a table within about 10-15 mins. I ordered the red white and blue slushee, that I can't remember the name of - but it tasted just like the firecracker popsicles from my childhood. My boyfriend ordered the hot chicken fried chicken with Mac and cheese and collard greens, and it was absolutely amazing! The greens were on point, the Mac was creamy and cheesy and the chicken had so much flavor! I got the tenders, and they were flavorful and juicy. Please bring a location down to Tampa?

Soooo many food items jump off the menu to try!! HUGE location which the parking seems deceptively lacking but there is a small sign acknowledging parking across the street which helps. Food and fun to be had here! Played it safe and got the mild on the hot chicken with side of the medium sauce. There was a huge difference in heat between the mild and medium. Medium will definitely open up your sinuses but still enjoyable on pop & flavor. The cheese grit cakes were alittle bland - for cheese and grits - which seems to lean alittle too heavy on the sauce, however all together it is pretty good. Service was fun & friendly. With that, food options, and atmosphere, a solid spot for the burbs and close to airport.

Last Sunday afternoon we went to Party Fowl in Downtown Nashville but the line was so long, we decided to drive to this location. We had to get our hot chicken fix! Unfortunately others had the same idea as the wait here was 45 minutes. We put our name in and waited. After only 30 minutes our table was ready. It took a while to get the attention of our sever as they were very busy. Once he was available we had great service. I ordered my usual. The Chicken and Cheddar sandwich with blue cheese, sides of Mac n cheese and collard greens. The Mac n cheese was a little runny but tasted good. The Nashville Hot is as hot as I recommend. Anything more is just uncomfortable. We also had the chicken tenders and my daughter had the cheeseburger...she's not a hot chicken fan. The food was cooked to perfection, they gave me lots of napkins and the beer glass was kept full. If you're visiting or if you're a local, stop in for your hot chicken fix. Just make sure you save some for me next Sunday!

Went on a Saturday around 1pm. Place was full but still got seated fairly quickly. Waitress (Kayla, I think) was great and attentive the entire time. Food was pretty good as well. Levels of hot do not coincide with actual flavors as mild is actually hot and medium is hottttt, per the waitress. The mild was hot and brought tears to my boyfriend's eyes and tears to mine as I was laughing so hard that he couldn't handle it, lol. Will definitely be back!

Visited Party Fowl prior to settling in for the Super Bowl. Great place, very cool decor. Waitress was very friendly, very efficient and helpful. We started with bacon fried piggy chips. And then we both had the hot chicken fried chicken with mashed and Mac & Cheese. Ok shoot me for the double carbs! First, holy crap! I had the medium and it was hot! Our waitress said the hot and the Poultry-Geist were just crazy hot. I asked to try the hot on a bite and I paid for it. And will tomorrow! I'd love to go back and eat if mild.

We had reservations for two on a Thursday night and found the place a little difficult to find parking but did manage to get a spot in the back parking lot. Once inside they basically just put your name on a piece of paper left on your table. The hostess then just tells you where your table is located. Service was just ok but not great. Our server seemed to be bartending and waiting tables. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food service took a while but was good and portion sizes were way more than we could eat. Bar service was a little slow but drinks were good. The restaurant is two stories and very large with what appeared to be private party rooms upstairs. We dined in the upstairs area and listened to trivia which was entertaining. Bathrooms were clean with everything functioning. I'd go back but just because I really like Nashville Hot Chicken. We were in Nashville this past weekend. We chatted with a couple who live in Nashville and they highly recommended Party Fowl. They said it was much better than Hattie B's, where we had lunch on Friday. We went to Party Fowl on Sunday morning. My wife ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and I ordered the Eggs Benedict with fried chicken. The Cobb salad looked amazing and was very generous. However the white meat fried chicken was overcooked which made it dry. My Eggs Benedict were not presented as nicely. They were not stacked like you would expect, you can see on the attached picture. The sauce used on the eggs did not taste like hollandaise or anything else I could recognize. It actually had a funky taste and i tried to not eat the sauce. And just like my wife's chicken mine was also overcooked and dry. You would think a place that specializes in fried chicken would know how long to cook it. Unfortunately we had ordered two more dishes to take and eat in the room that night. We ordered the "lacquered chicken." It sort of looks like how the chinese food restaurants cook pork and chicken. It too was way overcooked. We warmed the dish up and it was hard as rock and had only moderate flavor. We also order 10 chicken wings. They are smoked and then finished with various coatings. My wife and I love chicken wings, but these just were not that good. I wish I had not ordered so many as we threw most of them away. Back to Hattie B's, the fried chicken dark meat we had there was perfect, crunchy and had great seasoning of course. I would rather wait in line for an hour than be seated right away at Party Fowl.

We had a blast discovery Party First by Uber Eats delivery. The jerk wings were so good we decided to come visit in person. The franchise is pretty good. The airport location doesn't have bone in wings or most of the menu crowd featured favorites but packs it's own punch with their staple Hot Chicken. The meat is tender, flavorful and full of Nashville! Reasonably priced, nice portions, I'm sure you'll be happy!

Great food and prices! Friendly employees that were very helpful. This joint was also very wheelchair accessible, unlike much of Nashville with its hills, construction and bums sleeping and blocking sidewalks. The Nashville hot level is legit hot, almost Asain folk hot. It was excellent!!! All the chicken in every form the six of us ordered was outstanding!! We stopped in with a party of 6 on day one of their new robot "Nash", the bot seemed to improved in the few hours we were there. I still wanna stick a fork up his ass. The grit cakes are amazing!! The chicken poutine appetizer was great and a huge ass dish!!! Great collard greens and Mac and cheese!! Toss a coin between this and Hattie B's when it comes to Nashville Hot chicken, I'm gonna give party fowl the win due to being so handicapped friendly for Todd. Get some!!

First time here and I couldn't believe I never been here. Hot chicken everything and great hospitality seems to be the motto at Party Fowl. I was fortunate to try the Hot Chicken Leg, the Hot Chicken Tacos, and my favorite the Hot Chicken Quesadillas. Their side of Mac N Cheese is probably top 3 in nashville. Staff was amazing, my waitress Bridget helped take care of us. I can't wait to come back here ! Can't wait to try another item on the menu !!

We've been here a handful of times now and overall service is great as is the food. So far my favorite has been the chopped kale salad with grilled chicken in mild sauce and I add avocado. I'd come back over and over for that salad alone! The hummus plate is good, I wish they'd serve some more veggies with it. We wouldn't get the smoked chicken dip again, just wasn't for us. t's a good place for a quick meal with some good happy hour specials. Service at brunch is a little slow but dinner was great.

I just genuinely hate this place. I hate all Party Fowls, but particularly this location the most. I have never enjoyed the food, never cared for the service (since they always seem so miserable being here), and well, I do not get the hype. I was forced here for trivia on my latest visit and be rest assured that it will be my last. If you want to be put in a diabetic coma, then please do come to Party Fowl. The atmosphere is always loud and chaotic, with people screaming all around us, and not being able to hear the person next to me really got on my nerves. The seating is always cramped, and the tables were sticky, which made me feel like I was in a dive bar rather than a restaurant. I don't think they clean the high tops between seatings. The food was barely edible. Their chicken is always overcooked and dry. The sides always are soggy and tasted like they were reheated the previous day, and the drinks seem to be watered down and weak. Not to mention, they're super costly for barely any liquor in them. On our latest visit to add insult to injury, the service was terrible. Our server was never around, and when she finally did come to our table, she was rude, dismissive, and lacked basic customer service skills. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Party Fowl to anyone. The food was terrible, the service was poor, and the atmosphere was unpleasant. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Avoid it like the plague!

This restaurant was very close by our Airbnb and we knew we should have Nashville hot chicken at least once! I was going to order online and pick up, but the ordering service was adding quite a few fees, so I just went and ordered in person and waited for it to be ready. The wait was very reasonable! For sure took less than 20 minutes. I had the hot chicken and beignets at the lowest spicy option and a side of Mac and cheese. My husband had the chicken Cuban at the second spicy option with mashed potatoes and gravy as his side. The hot chicken was Hot for sure haha. I was surprised at the amount of spice I received in the lowest level! I had to take a few breaks. The max and cheese was really good, I would definitely order it again. The beignets were also good, they probably could've cooked just a few minutes more, but it was a pretty good dish! I can't say a ton about my husband's chicken Cuban sandwich at the second spicy level because I wasn't willing to subject myself to the spice haha. He enjoyed it, but also had to take a few breaks due to the spice. The mashed potatoes were a nice relief and a great side! I'd be interested in tasting more of the menu items but without any spicy hot sauce which I believe they do offer. If someone asked my if I eat spicy food, I'd say 'sometimes', but this hot chicken is no joke, even if you enjoy and tolerate spicy well, think twice about what level of spicy you order haha! Next time when in Nashville! I'd recommend stopping by!

This place has it all! Have had several different dishes on many occasions from here and it is always fantastic with great service. Joe, Megan, and Erica are our people and we look forward to seeing them behind the bar each week. Great happy hour deals til 7 pm daily except Saturday and the hottest chickens in Nashville!
