Let's be real, many HH spots can burn a hole in your wallet esp when the dranks start flowing....
Mmmm, that "$25" Tomahawk looking really good on the menu.....blurry (actual price: $250).
And, then there's Party Pig.
For less than a HH cocktail at Joey, you can go ham on ALL the sashimi, sushi, hot pot, alkie, and desserts you want.
Because during HH, it's AYCE and AYCD for ONLY $19.95.
Soft opening last week, Party Pig is from the owner of popular HH hot spots in the city like Public Izakaya, Bubu, NONO, AYCE Shoryuken (SSF), and the defunct Ko.
I think they only accept rezzies for large parties. Only complete parties will be seated.
Line didn't start until 15 minutes before opening but this will def change once it gets blasted on socials. =(

Didn't drink alkie but I was impressed with their non-alkie bottled drinks: sodas, lacroix, genki forest sparkling water, tea, matcha latte, frapps, coconut water, and asian juices.

We stuck with apps and sushi, skipped the hot pot.

For less than $20, we really enjoyed the food and felt we got waaaaaay more than our monies worth (tip generously!).
My fav items: gelatinous chicken feet, thiccc and buttery sake sashimi, juicy pork belly skewers, smoky rich torched salmon nigiri, and the omakase which included premium items like uni and sake toro. They have roasted nori in the snack area that we used to make mini handrolls.
To nitpick, I wasn't a fan of the bluefin tuna but quality may vary depending on supply. Also, omakase nigiri will vary based on who's making it.

Friendly owner and staff. Have to be mindful that they're understaffed and still training. On our visit, a large group threw a wrench in their flow, staff was hella hustling and doing their best but parts of our order was missing and/or never arrived. We were full by then so it was fine.

Casual and kitschy, you come here for value driven food not aesthetics.
There's over 20 tables and they can accommodate large groups but personally, I think dining in a smaller group will put a lot less strain on the staff and to better ensure you receive your order.

Metered and residential parking.
Overall, Party Pig is offering the BEST value dinner in the city. Period. Come with patience, grace, and stretchy pants...and you'll be good!
