"This 17C stone farmhouse sits on a bank of the River Wye and is run by a friendly couple. Its simple, rustic interior comprises a spacious lounge and a cosy, welcoming restaurant with an inglenook fireplace. The gutsy, modern British cooking has a classic French backbone and the odd Italian or Asian touch. Booking is essential and the menu is sent a day in advance for pre-ordering. Bedrooms are comfortable and some have river views." - Michelin Inspector
Very warm welcome and a comfortable room. Easy walk in to Tintern. |We enjoyed a freshly cooked beautiful breakfast. It was relaxing to sit by the river both morning and evening. |I doubt you will find a more pleasant place to stay.Hotel was fully booked but we were all well looked after.

We stayed for 2 nights, it was a lovely stay and great location. The farmhouse has charm and feels welcoming and friendly. The room was snuggly and we had a wonderful view of the river. Marta had baked biscuits that were in our room and it was a nice touch to have a coffee machine. We tried Roger’s evening menu and the food was excellent. As the farmhouse only has a few rooms it was lovely at breakfast to chat with the other guests staying. It was a very hot few days during our visit and unfortunately I had a little too much sun, Marta kindly looked after me with the electrolytes to hand! Really recommend Parva Farmhouse as a place to stay.

We stayed for 1 night for a fabulous walking break. I wish we could have stayed longer. Marta was a lovely warm welcoming host. ||Our room was stunning, such a comfortable bed with everything you might need. Even a cute glass container with delicious homemade short breads and a coffee machine. ||We booked an evening meal that was superb! The meal was absolutely delicious 10/10. Roger must be a highly trained chef indeed to produce such exquisite dishes. ||What a great place to stay, I can see why it’s rated so highly.

Lovely location in Tintern valley. Comfortable room with tea coffee and TV||Brilliant breakfast freshly cooked to order||Only feedback is that showers may need updating- wine was more of a warm trickle than a shower ||Still a great place to stay. Lovely friendly ambiance

The inn is located in an idyllic location facing the Wye river in the valley. There is a charming church next door. The room had everything we needed Breakfast was so good, we were disappointed they weren’t serving dinner the nights we were there. The inn is about a 12 min walk to the Abbey. It’s an enjoyable walk. Highly recommend!

Absolutely flawless! We had the most amazing meal here tonight; each course was perfection and wonderful wine to pair too. The menu is very well thought out and outstanding value for the quality of food. Marta is a fabulous host and the service is spot on. So glad to have found this gem and can’t wait to return!

Lovely place for a quiet retreat. Used it as starting point to go to the Beacons and go fishing locally.
Nice rooms in perfect condition (well maintained and clean)
Breakfast is fantastic, but do try dinner there, it was absolutely fabulous.
