Parva Farmhouse

Our second visit to Parva farmhouse, and we were not disappointed. |The decor is in typical farmhouse style, with stairs to the 2 bedroom floors. The food is absolutely superb. Top class dining. Imaginative and beautifully prepared dishes. The tagliatelle and ceps starter delicious, the pork/beetroot and celeriac dish excellent and the creme brulee wonderful. All four of us really enjoyed our food. A fantastic chef. The wine was a nice burgundy and well priced. Wow! We so wish that Parva was near us, in Dorset. We stayed for two nights and slept very well indeed, totally quiet at night and very comfortable beds with good linens. We had a good view over the Wye valley. The shower was a large walk in affair, very good water pressure and temperature. It was a great stay. Parking was easy, just behind the farmhouse. Marta is a charming host. Highly recommended.

A beautiful house, owned and run by wonderful people. My wife and I have stayed here multiple times over the last seven years and will stay again in future. Situated in a quiet, beautiful landscape on the River Wye in Tintern, the Parva Farmhouse is an excellent destination for any and all travellers. The staff are amazing, the food is healthy and excellent, the building is a superbly converted 400+ year old farm house, all the modern conveniences you could need and there are plenty of local attractions and convenience stores within driving distance. My wife and I highly recommend this venue.

What can I say what a place !!! From the moment we arrived Marta was amazing. Very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We got to the room after a long drive to the awful rain and the room was amazing. We then ate in the restaurant in the evening and we have travelled around the UK visiting nice restaurants. The food was outstanding and up there with some of the best I have ever eaten. Every dish was presented and tasted amazing and we would definitely come back again to try a new menu. We had an amazing sleep and the bed was to die for. As we arrived when it was dark we had a lovely surprise when we opened the blind in the morning as the view was spectacular. The breakfast is also very nice with a good selection, and you can tell it’s freshly sourced and local produce. Many thanks for an amazing stay Marta we will definitely be returning in a staying competency and we would even drive an hour and 15 minutes just to eat at the restaurant.

No hesitation recommending this wonderful farmhouse to stay and eat. Marta is a wonderful host with great attention to detail. The rooms are well furnished and equipped. The food is exceptional with an interesting breakfast menu. Shakshuka and the full cooked offer were both top notch. Great location for exploring the Wye Valley and Tintern, with walks from the farmhouse. Handy stop on Offa's Dyke walk. Beware, the area can be quiet early in the week and Roger's fabulous evening meals are only Wed to Sat. Don't miss out!

Very warm welcome and a comfortable room. Easy walk in to Tintern. |We enjoyed a freshly cooked beautiful breakfast. It was relaxing to sit by the river both morning and evening. |I doubt you will find a more pleasant place to stay.Hotel was fully booked but we were all well looked after.

I stayed one night here and couldn't recommend it more! A warm welcome, the most delicious food with incredible vegan options provided, and very comfortable - I felt very much at home. A beautiful setting too. Thank you!

Gem of a B&B. History old farmhouse beside the River Wye. We had a great river view room. Friendly welcome. Lounge to sit in. Top class restaurant

We stayed for 1 night for a fabulous walking break. I wish we could have stayed longer. Marta was a lovely warm welcoming host. ||Our room was stunning, such a comfortable bed with everything you might need. Even a cute glass container with delicious homemade short breads and a coffee machine. ||We booked an evening meal that was superb! The meal was absolutely delicious 10/10. Roger must be a highly trained chef indeed to produce such exquisite dishes. ||What a great place to stay, I can see why it’s rated so highly.
