Wish the owner / wine manager blonde lady was more compassionate, understanding and patient.
We ended up parking in a space for the wine shop customers, b/c we were going to go there after picking up our food next door.
Unfortunately once we picked up our food and went back to the car to drop off the food, she was waiting outside our car to grill us for doing that, without letting us get a word in to say we were about to go in the wine store..
We’re big winos, my husband and I. We have had multiple wine memberships, we have done wine classes, go out of our way to wineries in other countries and even had a wine ceremony during our wedding. All of that to say, we were about to be customers of the wine shop.
At the end of her grilling us, she says “do not ever come here again.”
… Oof. I just think she could’ve had a better approach with us and asked if we were interested to come in and check out the wine shop or something. Then she would’ve heard us say “oh yeah we were about to come in!” Or something. A lesson in do not assume.
Although I will give her this, she was partially mad b/c we had a tire in the parking space next to us, but those spaces are small and the car next to us didn’t leave enough space for our driver side to get out. Again, just another thing to consider - be compassionate, understanding and patient with your future customers (obviously you lost a couple customers with us..)
