Absolutely perfect location, next to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our partial ocean front room was stunning, it is definitely worth the money for the view. We enjoyed all the amenities as well, pool, gym and restaurants within the hotel. A few areas that could be improved, there were some housekeeping things not up to standard upon check in, used contacts left in the shower, stain on sheets, floor not fully vacuumed. That said the staff was quick to respond to my concerns. Also the beach cruiser bikes offered while free are very limited guest come first serve, they only had 3 or 4 in actual working order while we were there and even those are in need of replacement. Limited helmets/sizes as well. They also offer free chairs and umbrellas for the beach but when we needed them they were all checked out.

We love the Pasea Hotel. We are from east coast, but our daughter was doing an internship in Huntington Beach. We loved visiting and staying here. The rooms are great and it’s the perfect location in walking distance to everything. Alex, our Beach Butler, was amazing. He would give us a ride in the pedicab to the beach everyday and always remembered our names. Great service, great hotel, great location.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently having been elsewhere in LA. Check-in staff very helpful. Nice / relaxing few days with great views of the beach - tip: try get a room with pier view; beautiful sunsets in the evening. Room spacious and clean. Ate in the Lorea restaurant one evening and food was delicious; plenty of choice including kids menu. Great staff (especially Brian who was super helpful!). Only downside is that the pool beds get taken up relative quickly during the day so you can’t just turn up and hope to get a pool bed….sore point especially when paying decent money for the room. Overall though well worth staying.

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel and I look forward to returning. I loved many things about it, especially the location since it's close to the beach and Main Street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was also really impressed with the pool, gym, spa, and all the hotel amenities. Rooms were clean and the room I got had an amazing ocean view. Big thanks to the Director of Guest Experience, Kami, who makes every guest feel special!

Had such a beautiful time with my family. Kid friendly, food was delicious. Bed was just heaven and the view was so stunning. Clear view of the ocean. The shower was spacious and heaven :) all staff was so kind and friendly and felt so welcome

Google
Friendly staff and great location. But the rooms are not clean. For $800 a night, we got crumbs on the counter, sticky carpet, and just a dirty icky feeling. Room style is comprable to a holiday inn. Also super basic patio furniture with stains and bird poop. It did not make it pleasant to enjoy the $800 “ocean view”

Google
Very nice hotel with gorgeous ocean views and nice amenities. The property is a bit smaller compared to surrounding hotels, especially the pool area, which was very busy with a lot of folks having a great time. Short passage from the pool area to the front exterior to cross Pacific Coast Highway to the beach. Very accessible. The hotel's restaurant served large portions of a variety of offerings. Pictured is the smoked salmon with riasted tomatoes, eggs, capers, fresh dill on pizza style bread, and topped with cracked sea salt and pepper. My friend had a red meat dish that he enjoyed. He had a champagne, I had a sangria with their own mix that was very good. Highly recommend this hotel and their restaurant.

Google
This hotel is 5-star in my book! Beautiful views, very nice amenities, tasty restaurant on site, along with excellent service from all staff. Shout out to Sabrina at the pool as she made sure our day was exceptional! I also enjoyed that it was a salt water pool. The spa was so relaxing, beautiful, and a great team there, including Danielle my masseuse.

Yelp
Excellent hotel, nice room and the event staff is very responsive. Could not have been happier with our experience!

Yelp
The Huntington Beach Pasea Hotel & Spa once again hosted the California Wine Festival to the delight of all participants and attendees, under the clear blue skies of sunny California. The weekend begin with the VIP "Sip'N Swirl" evening of reserve grade wines provided by some of state's fine wineries and hoarders prepared by some of the local bistros, restaurants, and bakeries. As everyone mingled, and sampled the various varieties of fine wines, and savored the numerous food options. Seared scallops, sushi rolls, Korean wings, cheese balls with bacon bits, broiled steak, fish tacos, beef sliders, Ahi tuna ceviche, pasta dishes, and a huge selection of cheeses, fruits and nuts provided the perfect palate cleanse for complete enjoyment of the various wines offered. Cabernets, Pinot Noirs, Zinfandels, Petit Syrah, Brut Sparkling, Blanc de Blanc Sparkling, Rose, GSM, Merlot, Grenache, and various blended wines flowed during the evening, which concluded around 9:00pm. The following day's festivities began at 11:45am for VIP attendees, as the bright California sun sparkled upon the blue Pacific Ocean that was in clear view of the event, and just across the street from the hotel. The Saturday event, is more of a party scene with a live band; a huge crowd, an abundance of foods, wines, beers, spirits, beverages, sweets, and a fabulous VIP area with a private bar and buffet. Great time for all with dancing, and ample people watching opportunities for all. Many familiar faces from past events, and each year new friendships are fostered. Thank you Pasea Hotel. And a special thank you to the Kaufman family for putting on a great event.

Yelp
We stayed in room 205. There is a 24 hr gym below us. People were working out and when they would drop there weights it was sounds line bowling ball being dropped. It was 2 of our 3 day trip. Front desk said never had that happen before. So I guess I was lying, I questioned that. I verified the Lou d noise by goi g to the gym at 10:30 at night and 5 in the morning. People in there. Definitely source of the loud noise . I've stayed in the hotel before usually nice. But this time not good. The people seemed inconvenienced by the complaint.

Yelp
I've stayed at Pasea twice while on work trips. It's a decent hotel, but the service can be spotty. Rooms: I had an ocean-facing view the first time, which was nice. The second time was facing the hotel entrance, which was fine as long as you close your curtains. The rooms are decent enough, but the pillows seem worn out and the toiletries left my hair and skin feeling dry. Service: Check-in is not a smooth experience. My room was not ready when I checked in at 3:30pm, so they said I would get a text when it was ready. Said text never came, so I had to check with front desk after waiting for over an hour. They told me to wait at the pool or lobby, but they didn't give me a key to access the pool, so I had to go back and ask for it. They had complimentary cocktails for guests at front desk, but they didn't offer it to me despite offering it and striking a conversation with the guests behind me. When I went back to check in, the concierge seemed polite enough but didn't feel welcoming--especially compared to how he greeted other guests. When I asked for utensils, they told me to get it from their restaurant (at other hotels, they will always bring it to you). I'm not sure what the reason is for this difference in treatment, and I had the feeling that I was being tolerated instead of welcomed. I've never had this experience at any other hotel I've stayed in, including JW Marriott, Hilton, Omni, etc. Location: Pasea is steps away from the beach, which is the major reason why I stay here. We also have a corporate discount/partnership with them.

Yelp
Very comfortable beds! Weird pull door with glass behind it next to one queen bed that gives you a view into the shower, there is literally zero reason for the door except to watch someone showering. It is odd. Hotel is basically connected to Pacific City which is SO nice .. not having to deal with driving and parking and being able to walk over and eat or shop is great. Rooftop bar was not bad. Would stay here again if in Huntington Beach again.

Yelp
The customer service at this hotel was extremely accommodating , shout out to Cami for all of her help. It's a great value for an oceanfront property and all of the extra seasonal add on activities made it an even better experience. Would definitely continue to come back for the seasonal activities and also another staycation.

Yelp
Definitely one of the better hotels I've stayed at. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the ocean and part of the city. The room was very nice and I definitely love how the bathroom is set up with the walk-in shower. Since we only stayed for one night there was really no use for any services. The hotel provided when it came to room service or cleaning our room. The room was pretty much perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more. If you can spend the coin to stay here, I would definitely suggest this place as a staycation. I would definitely stay more than the one night that we did though lol. They do have a pretty cool bar area and a nighttime lounge if that is your thing.

Yelp
Just wow! The hotel is immaculate. I stayed in room 410. The room was clean and modern and almost felt brand new. The bed was soft and the pillows were plentiful. I appreciated the mood lighting and white noise sound system. I also really liked the chaise lounge next to the bed and the enclosed toilet so two people can utilize the bathroom at once. Although I can't really point to any negatives, if I were to offer some advice it would be to request a room closer to the ocean. We had a side view and the nearby buildings somewhat detracted from the view. Other than that the stay was amazing!

Yelp
Very fun environment, super cute area to take pictures and meet new people. During the holidays the rooftop bar (The treehouse) has an upstairs area where "snow" falls and it's very festive and decorated beautifully. Drinks were delicious (range from $15-$35). The staff is kind and makes rounds regularly. There is also security at all times watching over the area- overall beautiful hotel.

Yelp
This review is for the Thanksgiving Food Coma Buffet event. Tickets were $145.90 per person. The ambiance was nice, but the food was just average. The first section had a selection of salad, veggies, cheese/deli meat, and smoked salmon. The next section had salmon, meatloaf, green beans, potato sides, stuffing, etc. They had a carving station with turkey, prime rib, and ham. They had a raw bar with some ceviche, shrimp, oysters, and crab legs. There was a kids station with chicken tenders and mac and cheese. They also had chips/dip, desserts, and a coffee/tea station. My favorite was the crab legs, smoked salmon, and sweet potato casserole. The first slices of prime rib I got were super good, but the second round was too raw and tough. The ham was solid. The turkey was dry. I tried the salmon, which was solid. The Mac and cheese was meh. We paid for an event time from 4-6PM, but they took away all the food stations around 5:15PM, so that was disappointing. I was only able to try one of the chocolate tarts, as that was all that was left of the dessert station. It was pretty good. For the price and quality/variety, I wouldn't recommend it, especially since they cut our event time short

Yelp
5 mins away from the beach, and the view from the room is good could've been better. I wish with the booked "ovean view" we faced it straight on. We were on the corner. I needed a quick vacation, and this place was more than accommodating. $50 per night mandatory valet, incedentals to be expected of $100 a day. All in all, so far, so good. We had an issue with the tv not working, but an attendant was called, slightly inconveniencing, but quickly remedied. The restaurants Lorea I would suggest not to waste your time or money. It was such a letdown. I am a foodie and dont mind paying for great food, but this place was beyond disappointing. The food, falvorless. The options minimal. There was a miscommunication with the server. She stated they were out of the shrimp when we requested to order and suggested the prawns as if it could substitute but no. They just brought two prawns, not with the sauce, and it was $20. I was confused. As I thought we ordered the dish with the prawn subs, etc. All in all, it is very lackluster. The steak was ok, the burger, like how do you mess up a burger. Anyways, as you can see. Dont recommend it. Try other places nearby. Prive and quality are not on par with one another.

Yelp
Had a fantastic staycation here. We got a room on the side of the hotel overlooking the HB pier which is the best side as you can see the sunset as well. Positives: -Location: Perfect right on PCH within walking distance to the HB pier, Pacific City shops, restaurants and bars - Bed: 10/10 comfortable. Mattress was perfectly soft and pillows were comfortable As well. - Room was spacious with plenty of space for a couple or a family with small kids. Plenty of counter and desk space as well if you want to get some work done. - Modern room with floor to ceiling windows and great natural light. - great coffee shop by lobby. - Awesome hotel spa - despite being close to PCH the insulation was great allowing for peaceful rest and sleep. The even have a white noise machine. Negatives: - shower pressure wasn't great. Sink faucet pressure was very low. - Balconies are very close to each other which impacts privacy. - valet is expensive $50ish with no self parking option.

Yelp
This hotel charges $54 a night to park your car, above the cost of the room. There is no self-service parking. Parking on the street is not available. Also, I booked two nights but received a text and needed to return earlier. They said that, because I booked two nights they would charge me for the second night whether I stayed or not. Spa services are extra, starting at $200. You can't use the steam room or the hot tub unless you book a spa treatment. There is a hot tub by the pool but the jets don't work. Spend your money elsewhere.

Yelp
At this price point, I did not find this hotel living up to its hype. Firstly, please see pic of partial ocean view room. Hysterical. It was like a prison yard. The block wall was 6 feet tall. Maybe it's a partial ocean view if I could stand on the chairs. We walked back downstairs to show them the pictures and to get another room. They did move us, but it's just a pain. Secondly, once we were in our room, I did not find the bathroom to be particularly clean. The glass of the shower doors was dirty. All of the stainless steel was staked and spotted. Even the soap dispenser inside the shower had dried, old product on it. This is a $700 night hotel. Insane. The Shorebreak down the street doesn't have the same views, but they have a killer happy hour and pristine rooms. There's just a lot of options and I probably would not go back unless they had some great special. we paid for a premium room in the summer and I do not feel the cost was worth it.

Yelp
This hotel is great with a wonderful location. My friends and I attended the holiday ice skating event. It was so fun and the service was wonderful. Views are perfect. Highly recommend checking this out during the holiday season. We were able to purchase tickets the day of on a Saturday. They also had tables to purchase to sit and hang out around the rink. Rentals are available and they validate parking.

Yelp
I stayed two nights for my birthday celebration , but I miss Tanners restaurant the food was way better then Lorea the new main restaurant in the Pasea now , it's like they are trying to hard , the room was great , we ended leaving the hotel to eat at Sandy's on the beach , way better food.
google avatar

Yelp
Reminiscing on the visit to this beautiful establishment I can remember aside from it having an amazing view and spacious room the on site restaurant was amazing. Windows open with the ocean breeze and natural wave sounds is the best sleep one can ask for. Needing to made a return visit!
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
This place is so great... the service from booking to asking for all the needs and feelz you could get in reason. I came for my birthday and was greeted with Birthday wishes and a delicious cupcake in my room.. All the pennies saved were worth it. Thank you for a great stay..

Yelp
Pasea is the perfect hotel if you're looking for a staycation!! Clay at the front desk is absolutely the best, he took care of us and made our stay one to remember. We got to completely escape for the day and celebrated our anniversary in style!
google avatar

Charlie R.

Yelp
We had a magnificent experience at Pasea Hotel! Conveniently located next to Pacific City plus across from Huntington Beach. They have valet parking and make is super easy to collect your car when needed. I was easily able to ask for an early check in time and the staff was so kind our entire stay. The balcony was wonderful to enjoy the ocean & PCH views. They have great food options on property. We enjoyed Treehouse for a late night drink and highly recommend for the atmosphere. They had a bottle of wine and flip flops waiting for us in the room which was an added treat. Very happy with our stay here & hope to return again!

Matthew K.

Yelp
For this price point, the hotel rooms, and view should be must better. I shouldn't be looking at a cement wall for $800 a night. Just sayin.
google avatar

Gia R.

Yelp
Cons: We've stayed at the Pasea many times. This last time was disappointing. There were gashes in the walls of our room that weren't repaired, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were awful. A good night's sleep is important. Pros: Beautiful views of the beach from the balcony. Great location to walk to Pacific City shopping center, beach, pier and local restaurants.

Yelp
The Paséa Hotel has so many amazing things to offer. Let's start with the view. For me it is definitely worth it to pay extra to get the beautiful ocean views. The skyline is just as beautiful looking out at night into the city, but there's nothing better than the ocean and what it offers. Service is phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for a better welcome and any other needs we may of had. The rooms are beautiful and I will say keep out most of the noise if the door is shut. If other on the side where the Treehpuse Bar is though I feel for you because it can get louder. The pool is amazing, warm and Jacuzzi nice. I love ptu can rent full service cabanas which include TVs and mini fridge. There is a pool side bar that closes at 7pm. The pool also overlooks the beach and pacific coast highway. While we were there we saw a wedding as well overlooking the beach. I did not realize it was valet parking only at $50 a night so be prepared. I didn't mind honestly because it's a nightmare to park at Huntington unless you get in early in the day. If other trying to budget well keep that in mind. There is a mall and restaurants next door so you can walk instead of drive. There's a coffee/cafe inside as well as a restaurant of their own, Our families biggest downside of the stay were the awful pillows. They were small squares and not even full size. They felt like throw away pillows. We all woke up multiple times just trying to get comfortable. Again, amazing service, clean and beautiful location and easy check in and out.

Yelp
This was a really beautiful hotel. Kind of expensive, but worth the price for its amenities and distance to the beach and the shopping areas. We stayed for one night, and booked through the phone on their site and got a discounted rate 20% off. Still expensive, btw... but since it's a special kind of las minute trip, I was fine with it. What we liked: - complimentary white wine, water, refrigerator, coffee and tea keurig, and flip flops (small and large) in the room - hooded robes in the room - super clean room with a view of the beach (even partial ocean view room) - room had a balcony!! - can ask for beach towels, umbrella, sand castle tools, and chairs at the front - can get a bike from valet (though we didn't try it) - walking distance to the beach and a downtown area with many stores - excellent service!!! What we didn't like: - the pool area was overcrowded, not really sure why they kinda just let anyone in. It's almost a hazard with that many people in there - the lights in the room weren't user friendly, but eventually we got them to work - the room is connected to a neighboring balcony... we didn't really have any issues with that, but it would've definitely been easy to jump through and trespass I'm likely to come back here again. Expensive, but nonetheless was a beautiful experience to stay here even for just a night.
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
For the price we paid, it was so disappointing because they got the most uncomfortable bed and pillows. Not sure if they got dust mites or any types of bug but my whole family didn't have well rested sleep last night. We were so itchy and my husband even found 2 bite marks on the side of his stomach this morning. The TV didn't even work. The only good thing about this room is the oceanfront view.
google avatar

Tony L.

Yelp
Very beautiful hotel in front of Huntington Beach. Very clean, service was excellent, and love our views.

Yelp
Paséa Hotel & Spa is nice! My boyfriend and I stayed one night here on a Thursday. We chose a weekday instead of a weekend because it was cheaper. We wanted to do a short staycation. It really was a staycation because I was born and raised in Orange County, I live in Fountain Valley, only a ten minute drive away, this is my hood! Ok so actually, I originally booked this to stay the night with my girlfriends, however, plans didn't work out and I paid the cheaper non refundable option so I turned it into a date night. The hotel is very nice, the room we got was also very nice, beachfront view. There was a nice breeze going, not too cold, not too hot. The only thing is that there was a leak from the AC, we called front desk to get it fixed. This could have been really dangerous, one of us could have slipped. They got it fixed but we didn't get any sort of refund/discount or anything. It's located right across from Huntington State Beach. Tanner's Restaurant is located at the hotel so we went there for dinner. It was a bummer though that Treehouse by Tanner's, their rooftop bar, was closed due to an event the night we came. It's also right next to Pacific City, it's at the perfect location, next to everything within walking distance. would be perfect and it was! Service is friendly. The decor is nice, beachy vibes, casual yet modern. Price, I think a stay here is quite pricey, way overpriced. Parking here is not free. Anything additional you do costs money. You get access to the pool though! I would come back for a special occasion though. Price is definitely the only reason why it gets four stars.
google avatar

Nancy N.

Yelp
Nice expensive hotel Room was well designed n super clean 2 complimentary water bottle every day Cons No bathtub shower only Valley only $35 plus tips Bfast did not open until 8 am and they are super slow. Server wasn't well trained- keep bringing wrong food $35 resort fee for providing pools that can't be used on winter Attending company party, the catering food was super salty n no taste. The finger food was amazing

Yelp
*I HOPE MANAGEMENT AND/OR CORPORATE READS THIS* I hadn't been to my beloved California for 14 yrs. I got delayed 1 hr in Chicago. Arrive to the hotel tonight at past 9:00PM! Mostly excited. Mostly exhausted. THE NICEST GENUINE smiling ladies greet me (Liza and Tannaz). They exemplify true customer service! I hope they get recognized. I will edit more in the following days with the beauty of this hotel.

Yelp
A nice hotel with a really great location right across from Huntington Beach. I stayed here for a work meeting and was a bit disappointed in the cleanliness when we arrived in the room. There was part of a burrito left in the fridge and some hair left in the shower. The shower button to turn on the faucet didn't work and the bathroom door scraped against the floor. Aside from the room issues the hotel is very nice. Fancy decor and the view of the beach and pool are top notch. The food on site we had for our meetings was very bland, so I can't recommend eating there. One very nice addition is the ability to rent beach supplies from the front desk which is included with the hotel price. So my 2 year old son was able to get some beach toys to play with during our stay. Overall a nice hotel, I probably wouldn't pay the full price to stay unless they improve their room cleaning.

Yelp
The Pasea Hotel is the best place to stay in Huntington Beach! We spent the weekend there celebrating my sister's bridal shower. We had everything we needed and more at the hotel. Amazing cocktails, spa services, food, the pool, the beautiful rooms with beach views and the Treehouse Club at night. It was just perfect! Everyone who works there was so nice and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

Chantal W.

Yelp
I don't know where to begin. Pasea has become like a second home to my husband and I. We got married there a year ago and from the start of the process till today Pasea has done everything to go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Brides feel so much stress and pressure to figure everything out but with the help of Stephanie and Erica every time I had a concern or issue they would go above and beyond to resolve it. I can honestly go on and on about how amazing Stephanie and Erica are but it would be never ending! And with our most recent stay for our 1st year anniversary, April set everything up for us from start to finish. Setting up the spa, room and even having a beautiful welcome arrival in our room for us. We can't thank Pasea and the team enough for all the kindness and hospitality that has consistently been given to us ! You have gained 2 very loyal and thankful customers for the rest of our lives.

Sabrina L.

Yelp
This is the place to come in Huntington! Everyone treated like vip! From the front desk to the valet all employees I encountered were warm and helpful, 85% of the rooms are ocean view !!!

Lance L.

Yelp
We visited Paséa Hotel & Spa for dinner and after dinner drinks at the rooftop lounge. This an excellent beachfront experience that I would highly recommend. Great food, view and ambiance. Nothing more I could ask for! Next time we are in town, we will definitely be staying here!!

Ms. T.

Yelp
Have been coming to Pasea for years, but I wanted to especially take the time for the hospitality my husband and I were shown today by Miss Stephanie and Jerry at the front desk, and Miss Masayo at the Aarna spa. We got massages in the spa which were top notch, and got to use the amenities in the locker rooms. I got the Baby on board massage, and it was perfect! Miss Masayo (I hope I'm spelling this correct) was so delicate and made sure my massage was perfect. We then used the pool and had a great lunch and service, thanks to all the pool staff! This is a great hotel to stay at or just pop in for a spa treat! Thank you again!

Yelp
Good morning, what a beautiful day, it's our first time to come here, the staff are very friendly perfect ambience looking at the beach...food is great! and also dog friendly hotel..: and the best is they have dog menu yayyyy!!! Love love love it!
google avatar

Chandler C.

Yelp
Worst experience ever! Evicted for leaving our purse dog unattended for 2 hours while having a drink with my wife at their lounge. No phone call, no email, no warning. Not to mention we reserved the $2,500 Penthouse Suite. Outrageous
google avatar

Benjamin F.

Yelp
My wife and I had a little staycation and it was wonderful. We love the Pasea hotel as it sits on Pacific Coast Highway overlooking the Huntington Beach waves. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the shower is designed well. The pool area is 100% our favorite. This is bout second time staying here and will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! Pasea is a gem of a resort! I only stayed one night because of work responsibilities but wish it could be longer (and it will be next time!). The staff is so friendly and helpful and truly proud to be at the resort. Rosie our concierge left a beautiful gift in my room for upon check in, love the flip flops we can take home and just really enjoyed the pleasant environment and how convenient it is to the beach, restaurants, pool, etc. The treehouse bar had a beautiful view and the fireplaces and staff there were on top of service. Will be back stat!!!

Yelp
The bellman and valet are excellent. So many wonderful members of the staff. Management is awful. Pasea hotel is poorly managed. A rude, husky woman was in charge; she does not know how to treat guests who have spent, between both parties, 100 thousand dollars or more with the room costs. We will never throw another party at this hotel. New years day people are not checking in at the same rate as new years eve. There weren't guests waiting for rooms it was a holiday. They should have allowed guests who spent 60+ thousand dollars to sleep in after being up partying with an open bar we paid for. 11am checkout for special guests is ridiculous. I remember when this hotel opened i stayed weekly. On new years 2019 we rented the blue room and had a huge expensive party. December 31st 2023 we had another one and the cost was astronomical. We booked a suite and 20 rooms for our guests again and this manager had the nerve after spending maybe even 70 thousand that we had to check out at 11am after drinking and partying until 1:30am. We deserved late check out but our guests and even my husband and i, who paid for it all, were harassed to leave by 11am. It was insane. No late check out not even a 1pm check out also people can sleep until 11 and address their hangovers on the clearly late night holiday. The breakfast food they serve is also gross. Get it together Pasea. I would absolutely have that hotel running like water with happy guests and good food. That is not whats happening there. The best part of that hotel are the bellman and valet who always remember us and treat us accordingly. The manager is losing money for the hotel because we will not be back and we are big spenders who have been there so many nights.

Yelp
I love this hotel!! The views and location is amazing. I love that you can walk to restaurants and shops and the beach is just across the street. The rooms are clean and the service here is great. If you get room service make sure you order the turkey sandwich and steak quesadillas, both were so delicious!

Yelp
What a sexy night we had at the Paséa Hotel in Huntington Beach. My fiancé surprised me with a night stay. Why? Just because! I was @ dinner with my medical colleagues when he let me know of the ever so pleasant surprise! I drove from Costa Mesa to the Paséa Hotel not knowing what to expect. Let me say, upon arrival I was impressed to the maximum. The Valet drivers were very cordial, friendly and quick. I met my sexy fiancé in the lobby, and I instantly felt in paradise. We checked into our room, ocean view suite and we enjoyed some cocktails. The service and room service requested were outstanding, and the close proximity to the actual beach, what a treat! Thank you Paséa for an unforgettable evening, -Suzy

Yelp
We have been coming here every year for the 4th of July. This is the first year we were disappointed. Let me start by saying the location is great. Every room has a spectacular view. The room and hotel decor is very pleasant. Staff is accommodating and welcoming. They have a white noise machine in the rooms that was wonderful. What we didn't like this trip was the organized chaos that seems to have taken over. Our room's bar light didn't work and one of the lights next to the bed flickered so bad I felt like I was in some low bar night club. The pillows all smelled oily and old. We went to use the pool and turned right back, it was so overcrowded I can only assume the hotel is paying off the fire dept to not enforce occupancy rules. Not only was the pool grossly overcrowded, but there is no regulation of dogs at the pool either. We watched a poor elderly woman try to make her way through the labyrinth of lounge chairs, people, beach bags and barking dogs, and she was bitten by one of the dogs. A staff search party had to go find the owners, who were clearly inebriated and not in control of their dog. There also doesn't seem to be occupancy limits in the rooms either as we discovered, 3 doors down from our room was a room with 4 adults and about 4 kids. The hall was chaos from it. This hotel is very pricey for it to allow these issues. The parking is $48 per night for hotel guests on top of your room fees and resort fees. Day parking for non hotel guests is only $12, how does that make sense? We will be exploring other options for the next time.

Yelp
First time visiting and not the last! The amenities are amazing anda the ocean view off of aqua (6th floor ) was unreal. When we checked in, Maria was so helpful with sharing the heated pool times and gym questions I had. They also gave complementary flip flops 2 bottle waters (recycled boxes) AND a complementary white wine. The service requested was outstanding! They gave me extra towels and they were prompt. The quality is above and beyond. The gym had all equipment and I'm so excited to come back! It is also walking distance from Sharky's

Yelp
Overall I really enjoyed this stay, with some caveats. The staff were all really lovely and my room was meticulously cleaned. This is super important to me so these are two big reasons why I am giving 4 stars. I also really appreciated that the rooms seemed pretty sound proof AND had noise machines in them. The bed was very comfy for me. The pillows were sort of weird: there were many of them but not very substantial and all quite small. Tanners restaurant was excellent and I'll do a separate review for that, but I also thought it was nice that boxed water was available in the room. This speaks to some of the sustainably steps taken in the hotel (boxed rather than bottled water), including the large bottles of toiletries rather than individual sizes. There are some dated choices around the hotel including some of the decor, like the carpeting in the rooms, and the murals in the hotel elevators. Obviously I don't condone wasteful unnecessary makeovers but I do think it's worth noting that it feels a bit off in some spots, and according to other reviews the spa really needs a refresh as well. I didn't check out the spa because I thought the prices were too steep without better reviews to back it up.

Yelp
My wife and I are probably 20mi from here, but we come down and stay at the Pasea once every year or two for our anniversary. That should obviously tell you something. But there are some good and bad here for sure... Pros: --Nicest of the three main HB strip hotels (Hyatt/Hilton/Pasea). --Bottle of wine with room is a nice touch. --Always super clean, smells great, and has a cool beach ambiance --I like their pool best of the three in the area if my kids aren't with me. Cons: --So expensive compared to other two hotels here. We do a minisuite at Hyatt for the same price as a standard king here. --The counter girl this trip was misleading about our room being ready. Tried to upsell us, then when we inquired about other rooms having been ready according to the valet, she said, "Your check in isn't until four. Let me check again." Rude. But suddenly a room was available. (My wife is convinced this is because it says we used points not cash) --The coffee place here is pricey, which is expected, but the coffee is awful. I mean bad, bad. --Room service never came up to deliver a request we made. We will come back because it's tradition. But I won't lie--you can probably swing a better deal at the other two hotels here for a similar quality experience. It's not a kid centric hotel--very 20s-40s age group.

Yelp
I bought the spa day pass for my hubby and I, and I upgraded us to renting a day bed which I was very excited about because we were celebrating our anniversary super late because of work. The service from the pool servers was great and they deserve a raise. My issue was that there was a huge family running around and while my husband and I were in the jacuzzi the family sat on our day bed while our belongings were still there and there was a check on the bed with my card in it that I watched some lady from the family open ... why in the right mind would anyone do that? I clearly paid more to have my reserved space and then some random family sits in my rented space and touches my things ? Not cool. The server moved my husband and I right away but the actual hotel offered nothing , not an apology not a refund.. the family didn't seem to have paid for the second day bed they just took over. So please explain to me why I went out of my way to pay almost $200 for a bed when I could have just gone and taken over one?. I've decided I will never be back here.

Yelp
We actually did not stay at the hotel, however, stopped by to grab lunch at "The Study", which is an interim restaurant, while they remodeling the larger version. Cameryn was our hostess and took time to get to know us. Jesus Martinez was our server and he was awesome and went out of his way to take care of us. So, let's talk food. We got the Chicken Sandwich and French Toast with Fruit, very good! We really like the place and will be back when they open up the larger restaurant. Seems like a nice hotel with a great vibe.
