Paseo del Mar

Paseo del Mar is definitely one of the highlights of Zamboanga. The place has a calm, relaxing vibe with beautiful views, especially at sunset. It’s the perfect spot to take a stroll along the boardwalk, enjoy the sea breeze, and just unwind. The atmosphere is laid-back, and I loved how many locals were hanging out, enjoying the scenery, or grabbing a bite at the nearby cafes. The place is clean and peaceful, and you’ll find some great photo opportunities too. It’s a nice blend of nature and city life, making it a great place to just take it easy and appreciate the beauty of Zamboanga. Highly recommend it if you’re in town!

The Place offers a serene seaside experience at night, with calming waves, soft lighting, and a refreshing breeze. Visitors can enjoy local food stalls while taking in the peaceful views of the water and city lights. It's a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

A must-visit spot! The scenery was breathtaking, the area was well-maintained, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy. A truly unforgettable experience!

Worth the experience. Splendid scenery. Overview of the breathtaking ocean and sunset beauty. Walked by the bay and catch everything close to nature. Just breathe and enjoy..

Early Morning is best to visit if you need to walk, jog, or run. 3 laps according to my step counter is equivalent to approximately 1 mile or 2.2km roughly. Nice stroll in the park.

Paseo del Mar: A Waterfront Wonderland of Food, Fun, and Festivities.

One of the busiest attraction in the city. This seaside complex host various dining establishments that offer local cuisine and the most refreshing and iconic desert in Zamboanga, the Knickerbocker (get the original from Palmeras which has the best location at the edge of the complex). The complex also feature a convention center, a children's playground, a skatepark and a dancing fountain (currently non-functioning). It's also the jumping point where you board the vessels that will take you to Sta. Cruz Island. Afternoons and evenings are the busiest and large crowds gather at dusk to view the magnificent sunset of Zamboanga. Fitness enthusiasts gather here in the morning for their zumba sessions and go around the park for a run or walk. If you wish to avoid the crowd, it's best to visit in the morning however you wont find any open establishments. Mornings are also the best time to catch some of the local wildlife with birds such as eagles and egrets flying by or hunting for food around the area. The park is showing its age as some of the benches are already worn out and lamp posts are no longer functioning. Despite the visible wear and tear, this seaside park is still very lively and popular for tourists and locals alike.

The place was really nice.. the museum and view were great! It's a peaceful place.. though the outside before the gates place has few kids who will pester you but it's normal to tourist spots
