Food: 5/5 I ordered the Paseo Sandwich with fries, and I have to say, it’s the best Caribbean sandwich I’ve ever had. It easily outperforms many sandwich shops in Washington. The roast pork was juicy and paired perfectly with the caramelized onions and jalapeños. The fries were slightly crispy, and when combined with the sauce, they were amazing. My only complaint is that the sandwich had a bit too much juice from the roast pork. It’s definitely something you’d want to eat at the restaurant, because the bread can get soggy if you wait too long. Service: 4/5 Nothing too special, but the server was friendly. Our order was taken promptly, and the food was delivered quickly. Atmosphere: 4/5 Nice, small layout with warm and welcoming vibes. It definitely gives off an Caribbean feel.

This location was noticeably better than when we first tried it in Seattle. The bread was fresh and crispy, well seasoned, and the fries were delicious.

Paseo is an explosion of flavor!! Sabrosísimo! Every dish we tried was flavorful, juicy, tender, and just perfect! The marinate in their meats is rich in latin spices. Their fries are perfectly seasoned. The serving size is the perfect amount... not too much, not too little, just hits the spot. The Latin music and vibe of Paseo made me feel like I was on a tropical vacation. The employees were very kind and friendly! We peeked at other's plates and the nachos looked to die for!! Can't wait to come back, we're definitely adding them to our favorite's list 🌴😋🤌🏼

Portions are so good! Worth every penny. The meats are well marinated but not too saucy or over flavored at all. I was expecting bold and salty but it was a good surprise it tasted healthier than I expected! The store was very clean and well kept. The bathroom was spacious and clean too! Service was quick and polite. I would definitely come back! Inside is strong AC. Sir outside in the sun if there is any. Haha!

- delicious charred corn on the cob - I went there on wed. night around 6pm and there was one group dining. Another group showed up when I left, so this location is definitely more chill than the other ones. I got the famous corn on the cob and I also ordered the churros. The whole store has tons of plant decorations, but I noticed they forgot to water some plants and they look super thirsty. It has a nice tropical vibe nevertheless. However, the chairs don't look super comfortable to me. I waited for 5-10 min for my order, and the corn was still delicious when I ate it at home since they wrapped it around with foil. You get two corns on the cob, and I was too full to eat both so I just had one. The sauce was a bit too heavy for me since I prefer food without sauce, but it does have a lot of flavor and the corn on the cob was also nicely charred at some parts (not all of it). The churros were also delicious, they also provided either the chocolate sauce or the caramel sauce. I'd check this place out again, but it's quite unlikely since my husband never craved for sandwiches.

We ordered two different sandwiches, corn, and nachos. All the food was mild in flavor but unexpectedly greasy and bland. Definitely not coming back.

Lovely from the walk in to the walk out. I love it when someone greets me when I walk into an establishment - this was nice. No rush to order. Food came out decently quick Fresh, hot as heck, and tasty! Mmmmm the bread was so crunchy and delicious 🤤 Cleanup was easy Bussed the table ourselves Thanks again!

The food is amazing at Paseo, so is the service! They let you configure the sandwiches as a lettuce wrap or on a bed of rice. The Happy Hour specials are incredible, as are the House Margaritas. Be forewarned, 5 and Fire spice levels aren't jokes. Food is incredibly spicy at those levels, yet still full of flavor. I usually order my spice levels around 3 and I love spicy food. Habanero is a staple ingredient for their spices - and they're one of the very few places I have found that actually do it flavorfully - very flavorfully!

We found someone eating a sandwich from paseo and was pleased to find out they have one in the Issaquah area. So we came by to order a few sandwiches. I got their version of the "Cubano". I forget all the other sandwiches that were ordered. But I do know they were all delicious. The shop is small but the service is great. Definitely will come back and highly recommend them to anyone.

Small shop in Issaquah. Stopped here for lunch after a tiring soccer game. It was not busy by the time we walked in - ordered Classic Chicken Breast Sandwich and a Caribbean roast sandwich - a lot of yelpers recommended it. The staffs were very friendly. Ambiance of this place is amazing. Not Spacious for a large crowd, but well decorated and attractive. The food was available in 10 mins or less. We asked for a take out, but decided to have our food there. Loved the Caribbean roast sandwich - very flavor - worth the hype. Yes, it can be a little messy. Straightaway I added this to my Yelp list for Sandwiches. It's that good. I didn't get a chance to go back and try their other options yet. But would love to do that when I get a chance. Food, ambiance and service - everything is top notch here! Way to go!

I highly recommend the Caribbean roast sandwich, which I found to be incredibly tasty. Some reviewers have criticized its messiness, but I think this is a minor drawback considering the abundance of flavor and moisture from the roast and sauce. In my view, the mess is a small price to pay for the outstanding flavor experience. To minimize the mess, simply have some extra napkins on hand and be prepared to enjoy the delicious combination of roast, jalapeños, lettuce, caramelized onions, and exceptional sauce, all perfectly balanced on toasted bread with a crunchy exterior and soft interior. I also ordered a side of fries and a lemonade to accompany my sandwich. The fries came with a sauce that was new to me. It was paired exceptionally well with the fries, which featured a specialized fry seasoning. The two complemented each other nicely. For these three items, the total was $28.16, which is certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum for a single meal, but it will not stop me from visiting again in the future. Please forgive the photo quality, but I was in a bit of a rush. I was beyond hungry and running around like a chicken with its head cut off, so I needed a quick car meal stat. The lady who took my order was an absolute sweetheart, and my food was ready for pickup in a record-breaking 10 minutes.

Went on a Sunday evening before going to Home Depot and I've got to say, it's very convenient they have a location over here. I've been to the Fremont location and remember when the lines were longgggg. I got the Caribbean plato with the pulled pork roast. It's a very casual spot and it seemed liked mostly take out orders. We were one of two parties dining in. My husband got the classic roast sandwich. It was messy as usual. The same taste is renowned as before but the pork was still very tender and juicy. My toddler even liked it. I had plenty of leftovers for another meal.

Friend was raving about the scallop sandwich which is seasonal so had to try it. It's not cheap eats -it was about $20 but it was good!! Pretty good sized scallops surprisingly and the packed a lot of flavor. It was a bit messy to eat with all the sauces and everything but it delicious. Recommend! We also got the tostones (deep fried plantains). We liked them a lot-they weren't overly greasy and the slices were big and thick. It has a bit of a kick with the seasoning. That and the scallop sandwich made for a filling a yummy lunch. And they have a little treasure chest fill with toys for little ones to select a toy. Nice touch. I would def come back and try the other food items here.

Excellent food. Great sandwiches that drip down your arms. Get the onion sides. Bee warning is real.. jus dont swat at them in a panic and you'll be fine.. or eat in or get takeout

I love it that Paseo has a location on the eastside. We usually get their sandwiches, this time I decided to try their wings. I got the wings in Habanero sauce, I was told it was spicy. I wanted spicy and I got it. The wings were great, very spicy, I enjoyed them. We'll be back soon to have the sandwiches soon.

I'm only rating this for the bread pudding. I ordered it to go and waited a very long time for it. I kept asking the young lady how much longer for the Bread pudding, she said it's almost done. When I got home I had my family help me eat it. It was over cooked, and the top burnt. It even smelled burnt. Even if we removed the burnt parts, the rest still smelled burnt.

While here for a Yelp experience, I had the chance to finally try the very famous Carribean Roast Pork Sandwich. WOW. It's very tasty. We ate in and shared a side of Tostones (double fried plantains) which were sliced thinner than I've had in Caribbean restaurants in the past but were very tasty and well seasoned with cilantro and chipotle aioli. The World Famous Caribbean Roast Pork sandwich is worth the hype and worth the drive to try it. The slow roasted pork is super tender and the caramelized onions are a perfect compliment. The added crunch from Romaine lettuce finishes a satisfying bite. Keep the sandwich inside the waxed covering as it gets messy and can fall apart if removed. This Issaquah location is a strip mall variety and is clean an new inside. The seating capacity says 14 people, which isn't a lot. I would like this location better if they add on a Tiki bar or more seating space somehow. It seems to be a great lunch and dinner spot for a thriving area. Now I need to try the original Fremont location and then Un Bien to satisfy my cravings.

So the sandwich had great flavors and lots of meat and the interior was cute, though small. I need to be petty and complain about the sandwich-eating experience though. There is a whole heap of toppings on skinny slices of baguette wrapped in regular/uncoated paper. The sandwich is hot and the meat and onions are wet, so the paper dissolved onto the sandwich and I was picking pieces of paper out the whole time I ate. Fully half of the toppings slid out and I dripped pork and pork juice down the entire front of me and on the floor. Twice. I believe the skinny baguette and the non-waxed paper presentation need to be rethought.

So happy to have Paseo on the eastside. Located i. A strip mall by Fred Meyer with parking. Ordered the Caribbean roast and paseo press which were both delicious. Order at the counter yet and sit at many of the little tables to dine in. There is a water/utensil/ and wet wipe station which is much needed as it's a bit of a messy sandwich.

Remembered this spot from an elite event. So I decided to come here for dinner. I had the street corn and their original pork sandwich. The service was excellent and I was greeted with a welcome and a smile. No feeling of irritation when I took my time to decide what to eat. The place is clean and fun music jamming. Good ambience. Now the food: the corn is really delicious and smothered in margarine, Parmesan cheese and sprinkled with cayenne pepper. Cooked perfectly. Had to order it. It's what I tried when I was here for the Yelp event. The sandwich was absolutely gigantic! Super tender lean pork on a crusty bread with onions, lettuce (I think was bok choy) jalapeños and lightly sauced. I think it had cheese too. Overall a delicious meal. I'd like to come back for their happy hour. Because my meal was a bit pricey, in my opinion. $31.00 plus tip and yikes. Why I don't eat out often. But I have no regrets and would recommend this place. Loads of parking in front. Treat yourself! SYOY.!

I originally tried the original Paseo location years ago back before the ownership change and remember having one of the best sandwiches I had ever eaten. Since this Paseo location was conveniently on the drive back from Snoqualmie Falls, we decided to make a stop to see if they could repeat the magic. Caribbean Roast ($15.70) - Seeing this pricing, I was kind of shocked given how Paseo's competitors in the city are a couple of dollars cheaper. Paseo is a totally different beast nowadays, so perhaps they are riding a bit too much on their past fame to jack up their prices? Still, I gave this sandwich a fair shake. Paseo's hallmark has always been a sandwich dripping with delicious pork juices, a flavor bomb in the mouth. Good sandwich construction is a must, to keep the sandwich intact enough to meld everything together into a delicious bite. This Paseo - Exceptional drippage? Yes. Flavor bomb? A bit, but less complex than the competition. Construction? This sandwich is a disaster. Let's start with the baguette - it's not toasted nearly enough to redevelop some of the crust and is served lukewarm. The baguette top and bottom are reversed on top of each other. As in the rounded end piece on top of the flat piece on both sides. It makes this dish basically a pork salad with bread on the side. The poor orientation of the baguette slices, combined with the narrowness of the baguette (a hallmark of this sandwich), and the fact that they place the convex side of the lettuce facing the meat, allows everything, and I mean everything, to spill out all along the sides and ends. Upon lifting the sandwich to take my very first bite, three quarters of the ingredients landed on my plate. I'm not sure if this construction was intentional or an oversight. While the construction is poor, the items inside the sandwich are decent to good. There are onions, sliced into ring pieces instead of eights, with not enough time on the grill to caramelize any of the sugars or to help stick to the sandwich. There's plenty of pork, moist and tender from the juices it soaks in. Decently flavorful, being tangy, slightly sweet, and very savory, but missing some of the mojo/citrusy/garlicky elements. There's garlic mayo, adding fragrance and additional fat and creaminess. There are pickled jalapenos, raising the spice level up just a tad, and boosting the pleasing acidic notes. The one thing Paseo does better than competitors is the amount of meat they add - probably 50% more than other place. The flavors in this sandwich are good enough, but the construction is so terrible that it affects my rating. (3/5) Tostones ($6.25) - This dish comes with 5 tostones, dusted with a salty seasoning mixture and then drizzled with a smoky and slightly spicy chipotle sauce. The tostones are hard, yet not exhibiting much crunch on the outside, and very dry rather than fluffy on the inside. My first thought was that perhaps these tostones were battered and deep fried given the texture and how there seemed to be an outside coating that didn't make these feel like smashed plantains. Then I re-read the menu - apparently these tostones are double fried, which I guess creates these frankly subpar tostones. (3/5) Paseo has taken a big step down in the caribbean roast sandwich game. There are now places in Seattle that make a far superior sandwich in both construction and taste, and are cheaper to boot. With that being said, I think this is the only place to get caribbean roast on the Eastside, so location-wise, there's not much competition. Bathrooms - One unisex room

Love this place and so happy they are in Issaquah! I love their Caribbean pork sandwich and their Shrimp sandwich. Both delicious and everything is so fresh. We even tested ourselves to roasted corn. It was better than the roasted corn u get at the Fair! Price for sandwiches are a bit on the higher side... Almost $18 ea but it's good quality and it's pretty authentic tasting. Definitely worth going there!

Very friendly service and waited less than 10 minutes for four Caribbean roasts and three fries. I noticed the current prices were much higher than last year- 9 months ago they were $13.95- now $15.70... they are good sandwiches- BUT the raising costs are getting out of control. I used my birthday email for my free sandwich. I also got three other sandwiches and three fries for over $72- 3 sammies and 3 fries for over $72! The price of fries is now at $6.25 for a bag- and while they are tasty and a good amount given its potatoes... tasty food but prices are getting too high for food.

Just got this for lunch and they always deliver. I got the Caribbean sandwich and there is quite a bit of meat and toppings. We got 3 orders of fries to split between 4 of us and it was more than enough. My wife went in and ordered the food and was still warm when she got home!! Already looking forward to the next sandwich!!

Always such a great atmosphere! I've been to both the Issaquah and Sodo locations and always get the citrus salad and add chicken breast! The basil dressing is delicious and the chicken breast is so flavorful! We went in for the $5 margaritas today and the passion fruit was sooo good, 4.5/5. The classic Caribbean roast is always a hit as well!

Generous portions, super friendly staff, and of course the food is AMAZING. This is our go to when we are in SODO or Issaquah. Grateful for multiple locations!

Haven't tried this location until now and the ease of ordering/pickup was great. Tons of parking and plenty of seating. Ordered the classic but over rice and it was a hefty/generous portion. The food is good but it's very heavy and oily. I wish the onions were cut a little smaller to make it easier to eat but it was still good. The quesadilla with pork was also incredible, I think I preferred that to the bowl. The mesh of flavors and textures was perfect. The best part of the meal and my all time favorite aspect of paseo is the tostones! Perfect size, good, dense, chewy and seasoned SO well. I would just get that next time honestly.

We ordered Paseo on door dash, and I'm hoping that was the reason our order wasn't great. We got two chicken sandwiches and one shrimp, and my shrimp sandwich was pure oil and grease. I took one bite and had to throw it away. Giving this a three star because I'm thinking the delivery is what made the meal less than superior. I do plan to try this in person next time!

Came here after hiking Rattlesnake Ledge and definitely re-gained all the calories I had lost. Worth it though! I ordered the pork sandwich which was super juicy and tasty but incredibly hard to eat. I ended up finishing with a mountain of napkins on my table and having to use a fork to finish the food. Service and ambiance were great and I highly recommend giving it a try since it is unique.

Happy to see Paseo on the Eastside rather than going into Seattle, but my visit left me disappointed and reminiscing that I've have significantly better. Straight to the point, get the yuca fries and beans. The classic roast pork is good, but tiring to eat in massive quantities. Pass on the chicken breast as it was dry. Overall throwing those proteins in a bowl didn't help either, as most of the ingredients were arguably bland. Hard pass on the nachos being the worst/ most bland of all we ordered. Service was nice and courteous, but honestly I just want good food.

If you're from the PNW and haven't tried Paseo yet, you need to make this your number one priority! Their roasted pork sandwich has been voted best sandwich in the US, and they have a great variety of fish, steak, chicken or veggie. The Caribbean fries with garlic aioli is to die for! Round off your meal with killer bread pudding! Lastly, they have an awesome happy hour with great drink specials! Couple all of this with the nicest staff, this place is top notch!

I have been to the Seattle location before many years ago, and tried a shrimp sandwich. My bf said I had to try the Famous Caribbean Roast sandwich, which is the best, he said. So, we came to grab some sandwiches for lunch. But, when I saw they had a pork belly sandwich, I definitely had to get that instead. And it was delicious... messy, but delicious. It had a nice chunk of pork belly meat on it. My bf got the Famous Caribbean Roast, and I took a bite of it so I can have at least tried it. But, I still prefer the pork belly one. We also got the Caribbean Roast Nachos. That was also good, but they put huge strips of the caramelized onions on it, so made it even messier and harder to eat the nachos. Would be nice if it was cut in bite size pieces, so that you can easily scoop up with the chips. Definitely want to come back to dine in, especially during happy hour.

The home of the "best sandwich in America" (noted on their online menu) has officially made it over to the Eastside! Paseo is best known for their hefty sandwiches, but they also serve rice bowls, salads and appetizers. A couple of us picked up lunch to-go around 11:30 AM and walked right up to the counter to order. Their phone was ringing non-stop with customers wanting to place orders, but the woman at the front was still welcoming and kind. They have an online promotion where you can get $5 off if you sign up for their newsletter. We enrolled, but never received an email with the deal. When I mentioned this to the employee, she gave us the discount anyway which made our day! We ordered one sandwich and two bowls which each came with our choice of protein. A large order for just two people, but hey, it's fun to try more things and there's nothing wrong with leftovers! + FAMOUS CARIBBEAN ROAST ($12.95): This is THE sandwich! A chewy toasted baguette housed super tender roasted pork shoulder, caramelized grilled onions, pickled jalapeños, lettuce and a savory garlic aioli. I was in awe of how succulent the pork was, the jalapeños added slight tanginess and heat, and the aioli tied it all together. The sandwich was stuffed and they didn't skimp on the meat. It's delicious, but just so messy...I couldn't even get a photo. The paper wrapping got so soggy with all the juices from the meat. A foil wrapper would have been better. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed every bite! + WEST CARIBBEAN BOWL w/ Chicken Thigh ($15.75): Super filling and flavorful! Jasmine rice came mixed with a tomato-based sauce, sour cream, cheddar cheese, beans, pickled jalapeños and cilantro. The sauce was a little sweeter than I would have liked, but it was still tasty overall. The chicken thigh was quite tender, but was somewhat bland by itself, so I'd eat it with the rice. The bowl also included a side of chips which were sprinkled with an addicting salty sweet seasoning. + CARIBBEAN PLATO w/ Pork ($15.75): A huge plate with a generous serving of shredded roast pork, plain jasmine rice, corn, black beans and green salad. The pork was delicious and not too salty. I've never had black beans like these which were served in a thin and slightly sweet sauce. It took a few bites before they grew on me. This was a well-balanced and pretty wholesome meal. Be sure to arrive hungry as the portions here are humongous whether you get a sandwich or bowl. The restaurant is nice and clean inside. I love the seafoam color scheme and tropical décor. The tables appeared to be all wiped down and a table near the entrance was well-stocked with disposable cutlery, napkins and hand wipes. I am excited to return again and continue making my way through their selection of 12 sandwiches! 4.75 stars.

Just experienced my first visit to Paseo, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I went to the Issaquah location and the ambiance is charming with a tropical vibe, and the place is impeccably clean. I tried the Caribbean Roast priced at $13.95 - apparently it is rated as the best sandwich in America based on the menu. The slow-roasted pork shoulder, cilantro, pickled jalapeños, caramelized onions, and romaine, all packed into a toasted Macrina baguette slathered with garlic aioli, made it an incredible sandwich. The meat was exceptionally tender, and the buttery baguette added the perfect touch. Highly recommended!

Being big fans of Paseo and being SO grateful they opened on the Eastside, we decided to venture from our comfort zone and try the Caribbean roast nachos along with one of our stand bys, the tostones. First of all, kudos to Paseo for maximizing the compostable and recyclable packaging for our take out order. The only plastic was for the dipping sauce for the tostones. GREAT JOB! Unfortunately, the nachos were not so great. Not sure if it was because we were there just before closing or what, but the nachos were big on tortilla chips and lacking all but a very small amount of the shredded pork. Also the onions slices were way too long to eat with the chips. All in all, an unbalanced and unsatisfying experience. In the future, we'll stick with the items we like best.

I hate getting my hands messy when I eat. The paseo press sandwich is one of the very few exceptions I'll make. Juicy, exploding with flavor, and 100% worth the cleanup afterward.

So happy they opened up a location in Issaquah! You can't go wrong with Paseo - the Caribbean roast sandwich is so juicy and delicious, while even their less popular sandwiches like the Alaskan cod make you go back for more. I also recommend the Caribbean bowl, plato, and red sauce plato, which offer big portions. The place has friendly service and the place is decorated nicely with enough seating. Bathrooms inside and plenty of parking in the area.

I've been here quite a few times and feel the quality of food has been pretty consistent. We always order their Caribbean roast sandwich. This is a favorite for us. Today I decided to try their rice-bean-trio. I had asked if I could get it with their pork belly and they were very accommodating. Got home and was disappointed by the portions/value for $12.75. Flavor of the pork belly was good but I don't think I would order this again.

Terrible. The "nachos " were devoid of toppings, cold and disgusting. And then guess what? The jambalaya was worse. It definitely did not taste like jambalaya and also did not taste good. Worst meal of 2024

Oh my goodness, the Caribbean Roast sandwich here is probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. The meat was so good and flavorful, and the caramelized onions were bomb. I opted to get no jalapenos on mine and it seems like they are really flexible with including/excluding items on the sandwiches. Definitely agree with other reviews for rolling up your sleeves because this thing is SAUCY. It was messy to eat but so, so good. The space itself is pretty bare bones, just a couple tables with a self serve station for water/napkins/utensils. Staff was friendly and I thought the sandwiches were fairly priced, ~$15 but it's quite filling and they give you a lot of meat. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

Came here for the Grand opening and I must say it's nice to have Paseo on the Eastside. I came here after all the opening ceremony hype had died down when they first opened and it didn't look like a long wait, so I went and took a shot. I ordered the Seared Scallops sandwich with 4-stars and it took less than 10 minutes for my sandwich. For being a grand opening, they seemed to have the manpower and system down to handle busy hours. The seared scallops sandwich was what I expected. Same Macrina bread, grilled onions, and lots of sauce for that messiness you're used to. However, the sandwich seemed a lot smaller than what I'm expected and the scallops didn't have the crust I was expecting. If you're a Seattleite, you know the history of Paseo and this is the 2.0 version of this restaurant, because these are the second owners who took the beloved restaurant and opened multiple locations. However, they don't have the original recipes that was made popular a decade+ ago. If you want the original Caribbean Roast or the authentic Caribbean sandwiches, Cuban Press, or Chicken thighs, etc., you'll have to go to Ballard for that. Think of this as the restaurant that's trying to imitate In-N-Out, but it's not really In-N-Out. Nonetheless, it's a adequate rendition of it and that's what it is. Nonetheless, there are still positives to Paseo. I don't have to drive 40 minutes out if I'm craving a Caribbean sandwich, bowl or salad and they'll be open 6-7 days per week. Paseo will be a good addition to my dining rotation, since they're less than 10 minutes away. I'll be back here often for a quick lunch and dinner.

Last week was my second time going to this location and unfortunately my experience was not better or the same as the previous time. I ordered the pork belly sandwich and got a thinner slice of the pork belly and was not crispy at all. I tasted more bread than the meat. Regarding I'd still willing to give it another try. The prices are high... and we as customers expect better/fair portions.

Food- close enough to the original to hit your Paseo fix and conveniently on the east side. Bottled drink available for purchase. Ambiance- medium space with available outdoor seating. Service- nice. They have a kids chest of toys that my kids enjoyed rummaging while I was ordering. Self service utensils, hot sauces, wet naps and water. Location- downtown Issaquah. Nestled between Jamba Juice and Chase (near the Fred Meyer). Parking: plenty. Value: fair for today's inflation. Recommend: yes!

great food ordered the carribean sandwich and bread pudding, small area not great but they did have outdoor seating. water was available and alot of drinks, food options were great tiny bit of a wait. employees were great good experience, just a little crowded inside.

Welcome to the Eastside! Was super excited to visit opening weekend. Had the Caribbean Roast and the Peseos Press. Caribbean Roast: It was good / not the best that I have had from Peseos but it was still good. Thought the pork was a bit dry. Peseos Press: Was a bit disappointed w this sandwich on this day (maybe still getting up to speed because it's opening weekend). The pork and sandwich was dry and wasn't packed like it typically is (typically when biting into a Peseos sandwich it's loaded with flavor and meats but the bread was more noticeable today) Overall - we enjoyed our sandwich but will say that it underperformed my expectations based on experiences from other locations.

So happy Paseo opened on the East Side. We've driven to their Fremont location numerous times and always have had a great meal there. We decided to go opening day, though mid-afternoon, once the initial rush passed. Although there were still a number of people, service was super fast and efficient so we received our order in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the Paseo press and it was delicious as usual, though it did seem like there was a less of the Caribbean pork than the last time I had it in Fremont. Also a bit surprised the pork wasn't as hot, temperature wise, as I'd hoped. But the flavor was spot on and we will definitely be back. Welcome to the east side Paseo! So happy you're here!

At least as consistent and great as the original, and SO grateful they're on the Eastside! Started having the bowl a couple of weeks ago and held out for the new spot and half the drive! I think I love them more than the sandwich now, except they keep skimping on the glorious black beans, so maybe order extra? Also, "hashbrowns" are just their fries. Everyone was super nice and it took 20 min for our food as the first 10 orders ever? That's pretty impressive in my experience opening other places. They have great drawings this week as well--win anywhere from a $15-100 gift card or Paseo for a year! Paseo made my month with this opening--one less place I have to trek LW for, THANK YOU!

I used to think Paseo was amazing but my recent visit here left me disappointed. I ordered the Caribbean roast and the ham and cheese. While the sandwiches were hearty, they lacked flavor for me. I also ordered churros and those were the star of the show. It came out piping hot. Best churros I've ever had. I would come back just for the churros. The sandwiches were mediocre.

Paseo did not honor a gift card promotion that was prominently advertised on their website at the time. They have ignored my multiple contacts asking them to rectify the situation. The takeout food was fine, but the shady business practices aren't.

Clean place, quick service even with a steady stream of folks coming in. We had the 'Famous Caribbean Roast' and 'Paseo Press.' Both were good, but we agreed the Paseo Press was the better of the two. The Press was a bit greasy, likely due to two kinds of pork (roast shoulder and Ham) and swiss cheese, but the flavors of the meats and peppers etc were just awesome. I couldn't find any reference to who/what rated the Famous Caribbean Roast America's best sandwich on their website, but their menu clearly states that it is. It's good, but I would not get it over the Paseo Press. We also had a spritzer with lemonade and guava and it was great, better than we were expecting. Overall, definitely a great spot for sandwiches, and we'll be back to try some of the other menu options.

Glad to have Paseo in town, finally stopped by while charging the car. The famous pork sandwich had good flavor similar to the original location. I prefer thinly sliced onions but still good with jalapeños too. Little messy but they provide ample napkins for dining in. Street corn elote was good, next time I'll ask less mayo sauce. Overall a solid place especially for the Eastside iykyk. I still prefer the other sandwich place but thankful to have Paseo in the Quah. I'll be back for the churros. Friendly counter service. Dine in or at the tables outside or via Uber Eats.

WOW! I was so impressed by this. Have been wanting to try for a while but this is the first time I had the opportunity to stop in. The tostones were killer - so fresh when I picked it up I couldn't even snack on in the car because they were so hot. I had the ham and cheese sandwich and am so in love with the caramelized onions. The person who gave me my food was so kind and it's a great lunch stop.

Best sandwiches in the area! I was so excited when they were opening a new location in Issaquah. I'd recommend the Smokin Thigh sandwich (chicken), but the most common is definitely the Caribbean Roast. Their fries are surprisingly good too! Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean, tidy, bright and happy :)

Finally had a chance to try these sandwiches in their Eastside location and food did not disappoint! Of course we had to get the original Caribbean roast sandwich, which tasted like their original. Warning sandwich is juicy and messy...would recommend sharing so you can try something else on the menu like we did (and because an entire sandwich may just be a tad too oily for me since so much meat). We also got the red sauce plate with prawns and the portion size was generous, flavorful and customizable spiciness. Not sure what to make of the salad that came with though since it didn't seem to have a dressing? Some seasonal items on their temp menu which look tasty. Cute interior with a few small tables outside for outdoor dining. Convenient strip mall parking in large plaza.

My son and I ordered a bunch of food from here. Loved the playing chips and the jambalaya. The sandwiches are great also but I don't like that they use thin baguette. Makes it so difficult to eat especially given that the roasted onions are fairly big pieces and tend to be slippery. Easy to find Service was good Ambiance was good also - seems like most people get it to go. Ample parking Seattleites if you have time, at least give this place a try.
