"This restaurant is housed in one of the most important historic buildings in the town – the Seminario Vescovile (Bishop’s Seminary). The austere, majestic exterior contrasts with the contemporary elegance of the dining room, while the cuisine continues to focus on dishes firmly rooted in the region, albeit with the occasional modern twist. Chef Antonio Zaccardi is at the helm here, creating various tasting menus on which he demonstrates skills and techniques acquired over the years, focusing on just a few ingredients so that every dish explodes with intense and generous flavours. His wife Angelica Giannuzzi is equally as talented, creating pastries and desserts that are out of the ordinary and full of personality. Antonio Magistà oversees the front of house with skill and elegance, fully confident in the restaurant’s excellent wine list which is dominated by champagnes and wines from Puglia and Bordeaux." - Michelin Inspector

While we stay in Puglia, we also take this opportunity to try a Michelin place. It’s inside a Masseria, the Masseria is really pretty and recently open for business. The food is great, service is really attentive, nothing to complain about. We had a great night there.

I like this restaurant. The atmosphere is okay-ish, little empty and there’s no one to greet you at the door, but when the hostess came and was really nice and attentive, even folded my napkin when I went to the bathroom. The food was a lot so definitely don’t eat before that, the whole experience was about 3 hours. I liked the starters but the mains was lacking which was sad :<. The desserts were okay, nothing outstanding, loved the wines and the explanation behind each. Hated the green pasta though, extremely extremely bitter ;<>

In September, my husband and I dined at this one-Michelin-starred cave restaurant in Conversano, just a 15-minute drive from Polignano a Mare. The unique decor and divided seating created a private, intimate atmosphere. The menu highlights local Puglian ingredients, and my favorite dish was the burrata with caviar and tomatoes—simple yet incredible. For two people, with a couple of glasses of wine, the total came to 400 euros. Highly recommend for a luxurious meal and the quintessential Puglian cave dining experience.

Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Ambience 9/10 Soap in the restroom 20/10 We had a great taste experience and journey. Good command in English which is hard to find around Italy. My wife was pregnant, we told this and they were very careful about this. I would def. recommend. They deserve the michelin star they have.

Beautiful place, delightful staff. We did the "movimento" menu. Many dishes were pleasently inspired by the southern Italian culinary tradition. My personal highlight: the wine pairing. Didn't miss a bit ☺️

We enjoyed an outstanding 7 course tasting menu of Puglian dishes at this Michelin one-star restaurant. We could feel the love of Puglian produce and dishes in every bite. We also enjoyed the wine pairing with regional Puglian wines. The restaurant is located on a beautiful property, Masseria Mancini. The drive there from Bari was lovely and I wished I could see more in daylight. The service and atmosphere were outstanding. It was a lovely, lovely meal. Highly recommend.

Google
Amazing place it sinks you into the story it tells through the food. I’d love to try the other menu, because today was went with the classic one. Also would love to try the wine pairing it was noon so it was to early for drinking so much but I’d definitely love to try the whole experience one day. Overall amazing place and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Exquisitely melded old and new fusion, apulian cuisine as mother would have wanted it! Our group dared the five course tasting and was titillated from the pre aperitif to the second and final dessert course! My favorite was the orchiaetta with tomato sauce, simplicity in its most pillowy, smooth, exalted form. Also a special thank you to the chef for making and appearance and our server for showing us the kitchen and wine cellar! This restaurant well deserves its Michelin accreditation!

Yelp
I loved this place. The food was phenomenal (marked donkey tartare off my food bucket list), our waiter was lovely, and the atmosphere was classy...minus the screaming baby two tables over that lasted for an hour and a half. Now, I know I might upset some parents, but why would you bring your child here? We had a 9:00 reservation and this kid should NOT have been up let alone at such an expensive place. Their evening was ruined not to mention ours. And they showed absolutely no consideration whatsoever. Heck, they even cooed and played peekaboo like it was normal to do this at a Michelan star restaurant. Kind of hard to enjoy our romantic six course meal with wine pairings when the child was hissing like a raptor from Jurassic Park. My main issue is that we asked the waiter to move us to another room and he said they were on dessert. I don't care. We shouldn't have had to ask in the first place. When you are spending that kind of money ($500) on a MEAL, it is obviously a special occasion and that kid gave me a migraine. My bae even joked that he now knew I'd never have a kid since I was already on the fence and this kid was already ruining the romance in our relationship and it wasn't even ours. (I'm not exaggerating...this child was screaming like a banshee non stop.) I wish we could do the evening over minus the kid because it really was a special place...I'm just furious inconsiderate people ruined it and the restaurant allowed the behavior. At one point we thought we were on a candid camera show.

Yelp
The food is the best in Puglia, a must for all foodies but call for a reservation. Small intimate spaces, even a romantic table for 2 on a terrace. Fresh fish and amazing flavors. Something different everyday. The presentation demonstrated the artist within the chef.

Yelp
Very good and friendly service, the food was delicious and I recommend the hot/cold parmesan.
