Pasha's Halal Food

My first time having a shrimp gyro and I can confidently say, I will order that every single time! My order had rice, peppers, onion, white sauce, lettuce, tomato, and very fresh, well-seasoned shrimp. It was delicious and a perfect size for lunch. The gentleman in there who I assume was the owner, was so nice and sweet. I could adopt him as my grandpa, but will have to wait till my next visit to discuss the details, lol. Overall, this is a great takeout corner spot!

Pasha's Halal is a great spot for a quick and tasty halal meal! Their chicken over rice is fresh and flavorful, cooked right in front of you. It's a small family business with a focus on takeout, so don't expect a fancy dining experience. Parking can be tricky on 2nd Street, so consider parking on a side street. Service is fast and the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered chicken over rice today from this place but all I got was raw chicken. They charge $14 for a platter with no drinks included. When I had the first bite I noticed the chicken was soft and chewy. It smelled like raw meat and it was gross. Never had a place serving raw chicken.

The cook doesn’t seem to follow directions. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese along with a BLT. The bacon, egg, and cheese came with the bacon cooked inside the egg—basically a bacon omelette sandwich, which is not the same thing. I specifically asked for the bacon “well done,” but it wasn’t. Instead, it was limp, low-quality, and cheap-tasting, with no real bite. Honestly, the food trucks downtown serve a better quality sandwich at half the price.

Can’t beat the price and friendly service. $8 falafel gyro pictured but the lamb is also phenomenal, do yourself a favor and get the green herb sauce!

My boyfriend and I used to live right around the corner from Pasha’s and loved it for lunch or a delicious, filling dinner. We moved to a different part of the city but went tonight for takeout. Not only was the food delicious (falafel is always so incredible) and the portions are huge, they remembered me when I walked in the door! They asked me how I was, asked about my partner, and even let us take one of their delicious desserts as an extra! It put such a huge smile on my face! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area, 10/10 food AND service!

I got the falafel platter and the fries and my partner and I split them both for dinner and afterwards we were soo full and satisfied, it was extremely delicious and one of the best falafel platters we have ordered thus far. Really nice staff as well and super fast service.

I got combo meal, Chkn and Lamb over Rice w/ Salad. Food was so good, just need more salad (they put it on top of the rice to make it look like it's a good amount) but it could just be me (I love salad ♥ 😂). They're service was great, if they say 7 minutes for your order. You're going to get your food within those 7 minutes. Please go try it out and don't forget to add Pita Bread, because I did 😔.... Be careful though, because you will take a nap afterwards 😴. I will be back to try the Lamb cheese steak 😋.

When it comes to Pasha's truck, it is not just the juiciest beefy halal platter that you are receiving- you get to experience halal perfection that Pasha had developed over the decades of loyal service to Temple students and hungry fellas from all around. We've never more felt welcome and appreciated when being served truck food. Make it a point to see Pasha and experience halal perfection for yourself.

Go to spot when you don't feel like cooking! Have had everything from the platters to cheesesteaks and have always been happy! They turn around the food quick and happily! The fries are also one of my favorite things to get! Perfectly fried and seasoned!

Got delivery. The hummus was a little weird and I wish it wasn't just a super small container you could get. The pita that you order as a side too was a super small portion. I got lamb over rice which was pretty good but they put almost no white sauce on it. Luckily the lamb was seasoned well. I paid extra for the extra meat. I don't know if it would've been filling without the extra. I don't think there's a lot of bang for the buck here. Also the driver said he wouldn't deliver here again because it wasn't safe. So I guess I won't be able to order here again.

My go to carry out place (not really a dine in place). I love their chicken and rice platter! Their falafel is also great. Their lamb and desserts were only ok for me. But the value and convenience combined with my go to chicken platter makes this 5 stars for me.

Very tasty spot to order lunch from! A lot of my colleagues had food delivered from here yesterday and we all had a great experience. Everything tasted fresh, big portions and fast service. I ordered the combo (falafel and lamb) platter over rice. Very flavorful and filling that I couldn't even finish it. The pita bread was warm and paired nicely with the platter. A few other colleagues ordered the lamb and chicken cheesesteak raving about how great it was. I would definitely come back here for lunch!

This place is gold!!!! The combo platters my partner and I ordered are SO good. It placed an order for pick up and it was done in ~20 minutes.

I'll never get tired of this place. Always fresh and the buffalo chicken is just so good.

My wife and I have a kid now. Halal chicken and rice has been saving us from cooking all the time. This is my go-to staple on the block. The rice is flavorful. The chicken is amazing. Portions are great! Brick and mortar clean! They always ask about topping to ensure you're getting what you ordered. There a good variety of protein to try. They have a variety of sauces. Staff is nice! Don't sleep on Pasha's. Additionally, they have cheesesteaks and fries and baklava! Breakfast sandwiches in the morning!

Don't go anywhere else. This place is what you want, it's what you need, and it's what you deserve. Get the platter and thank me later.

Ordered from here twice, delicious lamb gyro! I can't wait to try more items but I deff recommend if you are looking for some fresh delicious halal food! I also ordered over the phone and food was ready when I got there! I would take a picture of the food already but I literally swallowed it fast

My name is Kiki and when I sayyyy this food is sooo freaking good you will not be disappointed at all. The food is soooo fresh alll the time, the ppl working there are very respectful and have great customers services. Im travel far and high if I move to come down here.

Solid halal chicken and rice, and my kid gave high marks to the felafel. Both were cooked fresh and fast. I still give the edge to the halal carts in terms of flavor, but there was definitely a freshness to Pasha's (especially the salad accompaniment). Will return!

Stopped in on a Monday evening after placing a pick up order. Food was ready super quickly and staff was very friendly (and masked up!). The space is small and unassuming, and I don't recall there being much - if any - seating for dine in. I got the lamb rice platter and it was spectacular. The rice was moist and flavorful, and the lamb melted in my mouth. For ~$10, this packed an absolute punch. The experience was so positive it thrust them into my takeout rotation immediately, and I can't wait to go back and try out the falafel. I also saw they have a wide array of breakfast sandwiches, which will certainly bring me back as well.

Absolutely loved my combo over rice from here. Good portion and the rice flavor was remarkable. The green sauce was very spicy and my only issue was the white sauce- it tasted a bit sweeter than I'm used to. But the meal itself was just what I wanted from the neighborhood. Will be back!

Solid lunch option, as I work nearby. I probably order every-other-week and its consistent. I call ahead a pickup 10 minutes later. Chicken over rice platter is my go to, but that chicken cheesesteak was a great hangover cure. Pricier than a street cart (which I believe they also operate a few at Temple) but I don't blame them. Still worth it.

They go HEAVY on the sauces, the lamb is juicy, and the rice is always buttery delicious. I love how much fresh salad they include in the platter. We've gone quite a few times in the past, and will continue to go - zero complaints!

I live nearby but surprisingly tonight was my first time here. Friendly and quick service. Great halal food addition to the neighborhood. We ordered a chicken and rice combo and a lamb and chicken combo. Both were delicious and sauces were fresh. Comes with a small salad which is customizable. Affordable and delicious. Also a large fridge with different nonalcoholic beverages. Will definitely be back. Would also like to try the breakfast sandwiches.

WOW was a perfect local establishment. Stopped in for lunch and it's a small family run Halal Food made to order place. I got their chicken and lamb combo with salad. It's so fresh and I love their sauces. Clearly homemade. I also got a side of hummus and pita which was absolutely delicious; I love homemade hummus and theirs hit the spot - next time will get 2 sides for sure. Definitely a great place to stop by and grab for lunch or dinner!

I live near Pasha's and have been meaning to grab lunch here for a while. I finally did today and wowwwweeee it is so good!!!! The chicken platter is amazing - chicken is moist and delicious and seasoned perfectly. The veggies in the salad are fresh. My partner's lamb and falafel was also delicious. The platters are generous and offer a great value - could be a large meal or pair with a side like fries or hummus and stretch it into two meals. The hummus is also amazzzing - it is delicious and flavorful but smooth - no overwhelming acid or garlic like so many places. And fresh!!! Everything is so fresh and delicious! Pasha's will be a weekly spot for us!

I really wanted to try this halal spot last night for dinner. I actually did a pickup order through DoorDash. The food was prepared very fast and the workers were friendly. Onto the food: 10 out of 10! We got the combo platters with chicken/falafel as the protein. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the falafel was fresh and moist. I personally really like the rice, but my friend said it was oily. I also got the red sauce which was a mild spice level. Will definitely come back again!

Awesome new halal place in the area. My husband got it twice in 3 days, if that's the proof you need! The falafel are perfectly cooked and crispy, the gyro is great, and the rice must be cooked in something magical (or just a lot of delicious butter??). We didn't care for the chicken much; wasn't bad but just not into it. The salad in the platter can come with a couple more ingredients (bell pepper, cucumber, banana peppers) than other places which is a nice little plus. Big portions at a reasonable price and friendly service.

Food was surprisingly great. We ordered takeout. My girlfriend got the chicken over rice platter and I got the super combo platter (chicken, lamb, and falafel). Salad with tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, red onion, bell peppers, and banana peppers. Sauces- white, hot, and green sauce. Sauces were good. The hot sauce was pretty mild. I really enjoyed the cilantro green sauce. You get a lot food for what you pay for. A good meat to rice ratio. Meat was still moist and flavorful. Would have preferred it a little hotter. Falafel had a crunchy outer layer and good flavor. I docked it a star because the meat seemed to be premade and reheated. I would have liked it more if he hit with the flat top grill that they had. Still good though. The gentleman seemed to be practicing all covid guidelines and wore a mask the whole time.

Got the super combo with steak, chicken, and lamb. Best halal I've had in years--100% will be back!

This place is amazing!!! Would definitely recommend for some authentic Halal food. I got the combo platter with thinly sliced beef and falafel - the falafel was so tender, flavorful, and moist! I also got the white and green sauce on top and would 100% get again. My boyfriend also got the falafel but switched his second protein to their lamb, describing it as juicy. Our meal was ready within 10 mins and was super affordable, we can wait to go back.

The food is all right nothing special lamb was really good. They don't have the right rice for it. The falafel's are too big and undercooked.

This place has an amazing take on a cheesesteak. Lamb cheesesteak tasted like a gyro cheesesteak combo and was great. Definitely recommend!

The chicken was very moist and tasted good. The rice was thicker than most halal places. It was sticky like Mexican rice but was seasoned well. The green sauce is amazing! The red/hot sauce is okay and I really didn't like the white sauce. The white sauce had a sweetness to it. Falafel were great. Freshly fried and tasty!

I have been searching for good, authentic Halal near me and I have found it! Their platters are just simply amazing! The sauces are so fresh and so delicious! Love the lamb and steak platter!
