12 Places to Celebrate Mardi Gras in D.C. | Eater DC

"While Acadiana and its low-country cooking are no more, its sister restaurant Passion Fish in Bethesda is where revelers can go for Cajun cooking and cheap cocktails. The Mardi Gras menu is available at the bar starting every night at 7 p.m. through Tuesday. Cocktails, like a hurricane or Sazerac, go for just $7 each." - Tim Ebner

Had the 2 roll lunch for 13$, noticed that the food was mediocre, and found the seats to be hard. Service was fine. Barely anyone there, so I should have taken that as a sign. A place has potential but I don't think living up to it at this time.

What a disgusting place and disgusting attitude of employees there! Ordered to dine in, the cashier said it would be faster to order to go. Sat down at the table and one of the employees came in and said that these tables are only for dining in. Sure, I switched my table to “to-go-only”. Not sure what the difference was - both tables right next to each other. Visited their restroom and was terrified. Dirty, no soap, paper towels laying around. Wow! The question I was thinking about when I was leaving the place - do these people have any standard at all?

07/2022 update The restaurant is finally open for eat in. The lunch special was wonderful. We had a wonderful time. We ordered 9 rolls together and requested a boat. The manager remembered that I like rolls cut into 8 pieces, which is impressive after a long break . 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 🍣 10/2021: Short temper of staff and repeated mistakes in take out orders. I ordered 5 sushi lunches to go, each with 3 rolls of sushi. That's our usual order. Over time, I noticed that "accidents" and "mistakes" become more and more frequent. Most recently, we ordered our lunch about a month ago, the food came with the wrong types of rolls. we had to drive back and exchange plain vegetable rolls for the ones that we had paid for with eel and avocado. There was no apology then. This time they gave us one lunch order with just one roll. At the dinner table, We noticed that one lunch was missing 2 rolls and took pictures of what you see below. After a lot of back-and-forth with text messaging (the pictures didn't come through) and having to prove their mistake, the manager called me back together with a chef on a speaker. they accused me of lying that basically someone took out the two rolls. They claim that since the boxes made for three rolls and now there is only one in the Box somebody took the other two out (note that the box is obviously very clean and there is not a drop of sauce or rice around the single roll).. Also please note that I repeatedly requested all the roles to be cut into eight pieces instead of six. As you can see, that wasn't done. Needless to say that the screaming of the chef over the phone is inexcusable and will not be tolerated.

I've been eating here for lunch a few times a week. The food is pretty good! Today I had a Shrimp and Mango salad. It was absolute perfection!

Google
I used to eat here all the time. Last night I had the sushi delivered (As I have done before) and got food poisoning. Will never eat their food again! The fish in the Sunrise roll or spicy tuna must have been bad. I put the service and atmosphere as 5-star because it was fine when I used to eat inside. The sushi has always been meh compared to other local places.

Danielle

Google
I’ve been going here now for about 8 years and Passion Fin has the most remarkable sushi in the DMV. It’s definitely in my top 3 sushi restaurants in Maryland. I can tell the pandemic hit them hard and they now are closed on Mondays due to understaffing. Prices have been raised so I can only justify getting some during lunch happy hour which ends at 2:45. They have good Miso soups to go and they have mastered their packaging for carry-out. There’s a few tables outside where I often enjoy my food outside but whenever I’m there closer to 3pm the inside of the restaurant is barren.

Susan

Google
The food has gone way downhill. I threw most of it away. I wish something good would move in instead. If you like to eat greasy stir fried green bell peppers, then you will love their curries.

Google
Lunch specials are a good deal. I had miso soup and two special sushi rolls for about $13. They also have some hot entries that I like.

Yelp
Passion Fin is a family favorite! We find the food to be good and authentic and the staff are really nice. We first tried the restaurant when my son requested udon for a special lunch with mom and I had errands to run nearby (it's located in the Sumner Place shopping center off Sangamore Road, with ample parking). We both enjoyed the food and friendly service and he requested to go back for his birthday dinner, where he was gifted with complimentary ice cream for the occasion -- so it's now one of his favorite restaurants. The interior is spacious and elegant, with dark wood and stone accents. It keeps the restaurant generally pretty quiet so you can have conversations at a normal volume even when it's busier. The portions are very generous and we often have leftovers to take home.

Yelp
I've only been here for lunch, but they have a decent lunch special menu which offers a few roll and nigiri options at what seem to be reasonable prices. I like the sushi deluxe dish. The service has always been friendly and they seem to get a crowd of regulars. You can eat at a table or at the bar which has plenty of seats.

Mykhaylo P.

Yelp
ALL tables without customers were not cleaned. Never seen a restaurant that untidy. Cleaned table was still sticky when we were seated.

Anbesaw E.

Yelp
AWFUL!!! I don't know how they get anything above a 1 star. Bland, rubbery food. At least keep the place clean. That's a minimum expectation. Have some pride. Will not be back.

Angela W.

Yelp
Very attentive service. One of our party was arriving late. We asked to bring out their entree later; they did and also covered the plate to keep the food warm. They also offered free samples, which was nice.

Yelp
Food is consistently good as is the service. Been there many times over the years, always a "must have" when in Bethesda. Recommend it! Kind of pricy but is good. Appetizers do the job.

Yelp
A last minute lunch spot after walking on the trail. This Asian bistro is situated inside The Shops at Sumner Place. I wasn't aware that the west part of Bethesda was considered 'historic'. There's a couple different menus to choose from offering Curry, Hibachi, Sushi dishes, Daily & Lunch Specials, in addition to a full bar & Happy Hour. Our Server Ed, was OK as the service could have been better. I ordered the Seaweed Salad &Teriyaki Salmon, which came with two pieces of fish that surprisingly wasn't inundated in sauce & had plenty leftover to take home. My Companion had the Yellow Curry with Chicken & Shrimp which he seemed to enjoy, expressly the spiciness of the curry. Good food, rations & doable prices rounded out a cool lunch outing. *The following is from my return visit in speaking with the Manager: Our Server packaged both my Seaweed Salad & Teriyaki Salmon in the aluminum take out containers. Instead of a plastic bag, he placed it in a brown paper bag without handles. I opted to put the bag in my leather tote to leave in the car while I ran into Safeway. Once I got home, took the bag out, the bottom of the bag was saturated & frayed from the Seaweed Salad's clear dome lid not being affixed securely...my leather tote was not in good shape. I called to speak with the Manager & was told that Lee, would be in at 5pm. I returned, met with Lee, showed her what had transpired. Apart from trying to give me a tutorial on the different take out bags they use & such, she was very understanding of my disposition. I declined her offer to dry clean my leather tote as that was not an option...thank goodness for Bethesda Luggage & Shoe Repair. However, Lee's other accommodations was beneficial to us both. I appreciate the professional courtesy she extended to me & will return to give Passion Fin another try.

Yelp
The food was absolutely fantastic. You can feel the love in every dish. You will never find a better tasting hibachi.

Yelp
I tried this place only cause I work less than a mile away and I'm running out of food options. I ordered carry out since I was on my lunch break. I had the crunchy spicy salmon salmon roll and avocado roll during lunch time and no one informed me there was a lunch special so I paid more for these rolls and didn't get a choice of soup or salad. It's frustrating when there's a lack of customer service. No one greeted me, gave me a menu, or informed me of their specials. If it wasn't for a coworker of mines that asked if I got the special after I returned to the office, I would not have known. So I did a little research on their website and saw that they do have two rolls special with miso soup or salad for $8.95 or hibachi lunch specials starting at $7.95. Good to know, I might give their hibachi a try. Now for the food- their was nothing crunchy or spicy about my salmon roll. It was just ok. Nothing special. Avocado roll was ok too. Plain and dry. I will probably give them a try again one day to try their hibachi. Hopefully it's a little more tasty then their sushi.

Yelp
Love them! I get eh California rolls and dumplings Everytime. They always pack it up nicely and the sushi tastes fresh.

Sophia L.

Yelp
The fried rice actually tasted great.....but then I found a cockroach in it. I usually order the sushi here, but now I'm scared to because clearly they have cockroaches in their kitchen.

Yelp
Stopped by with some fellow Yelpers for Happy Hour before a CMYE nearby. Liked the crab wonton and house Pinot Grigiot, shumai were nice, avoid the "Super Yellowtail" roll as the seasoning completely overwhelms the fish. Other rolls were routine. The bartender was new, and had to be prompted to apply the HH prices to our drinks and snacks. She also didn't bother to ask if we wanted separate checks. Passable, not quite bad enough for a Meh, but I would not make the effort to find it again. Not surprised the joint was empty when we hit the road at 6:15.

Mike F.

Yelp
I have consistently received excellent sushi any day of the week when ordering from or dining in at Passion Fin. Great staff and service too. If for some reason you didn't have a good experience, I'd give it another try. Only reason not a five star rating is that it's not like eating sushi in Japan or at (most) Nobu restaurants.

Kiran H.

Yelp
Ordered kind of blindly without seeing the bad reviews which is quite obvious. This place is awful. Chicken satay was dried up, and charred. Roti was damp with grease. Terrible. And expensive to boot.
google avatar

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Ok so went to go eat. Didn't even sit down. Noticed a little friend crawling on the hostess stand on a menu! I was done. Ewwwwww

D B.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. I experience food poisoning immediately afterwards. It was so horrible that it took me months to write this review. After reading other reviews, I see I am not the only one. This is not the cleanest place but hopefully they will do better in the future because food poisoning is not a fair price to pay along with paying the tab.

Yelp
Do not be fooled! This restaurant located in a strip center off Sangamore Road is our go to sushi place! We love the sushi rolls here. The Dynamite roll, Sunrise and Sunset rolls are delicious. We always start off with edename. There is a spacious inside dining room with a few tables outside forbwhen the weather is nice. They also have take out. Thank goodness this place is here---convenient, yummy and has great service.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
Still wonderful, beautiful sushi. Consistently great! The Sunset Roll is still my favorite. Rolls are made with very little rice and the combinations are colorful and creative. Their specials are always fun. My husband loves the Amazing Roll. Try the Rainbow Sashimi Appetizer. The service is outstanding..Troy always delightful with quite the sense of humor. And Jessie is lovely. We visit at least twice a month, and have been regulars for 3 years now. Best sushi in Bethesda!
google avatar

Kathy B.

Yelp
Great sushi always fresh. We eat here or get take out a few times each month because its so convenient. Love the staff who know all our names. Not noisy. Love the tuna lover roll and sticky rice dessert. Btw "maggies" review below is the wrong restaurant and ive reported it.

Yelp
HH review: Passion Fin is located in a residential district further to the West/Southwest of the more popular areas of Friendship Heights. For those who hate looking for parking in that area, this is a decent option where you are likely to find seats during Happy Hour and where you can get modest quality dishes at reasonable prices. For my HH visit, I tried a large bottle of the house sake (Gekkeikan) that is warmed up in a water/alcohol heating apparatus at the bar. At $5 a bottle, it's a fairly reasonably priced Sake and what I'd expect from HH. For my food, I sampled a spicy tuna maki and a spicy hamachi maki which cost $4.5 each ($6.5 non happy hour prices). Again, there was nothing magical about what I tried. It was decent, solid HH maki. Several of the special makis were more expensive (~$10, $11 HH pricing). And didn't seem like much of a deal so I decided not to sample those. For those close to the southern-most part of Sangamore Road, this is probably going to be the best happy hour spot unless you drive ~15 minutes. Recommended if you are close by.

Yelp
Passion Fin is an Asian bistro that has several locations (other locations include Ashburn, DC, and Vienna). Some Yelpers and I came here for their Happy Hour before an event, and when we walked in, we were directed towards the bar area. The HH menu includes house wines (whites and reds), hot sake (small or large), well cocktails, and domestic beers; a selection of appetizers were 50% off, some sushi rolls were $2 off, and some special rolls were $3 off. I had a strawberry daquiri, which was easy on the alcohol; it was more like a strawberry smoothie that was actually quite delicious! :D For some munchies, I tried their Crab Wonton (the wonton was definitely crunchy with a nice little mixture of cream cheese and imitation crab within; came with a side of a watered down sweet & sour sauce that was forgettable) and a Honey Boston Roll (which came with a generous amount of lettuce, asparagus, and steamed shrimp, but I wasn't sure where the 'honey' or the 'Boston' part came in?). I'd also sampled the shumai and some of the Yellowtails rolls. Sake also came heated, and extra sake cups were provided with no problem. Service was very friendly and pleasant, but the employee stated that it was her first time tending the bar; the HH hours weren't reflected on the check, so we had to kindly remind her as well. Limited seating at the bar, it was a comfortable atmosphere. Located next to the Bethesda Market, there were also plenty of spots in the shared lot in the plaza. +strawberry daiquiri :D +HH weekdays, 4:30-6:30PM +limited seating at the bar +re-check your receipt! +friendly service :D
google avatar

Ruth C.

Yelp
Rounding down since the lackluster impression leaves me favoring any of the dozen more mom & pop sushi restaurants a short drive away. Plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot, decor on the nicer side. Alaska and super yellowtail rolls were reasonably fresh. It takes a decent happy hour to make an okay quality of sushi at conservative sizes worth its value, and counter the effect of grumpy service. I got an apology when she forgot my sake, but the bartender was a little terse when the overcharge on one of my items was pointed out. It's nice that at their price point they can offer more luxury menu options like taco su, duck salad, or the Ocean / Festival / Angel rolls, but I'm not excited enough to give them a steep chance next time beyond chirashi and a Honey Boston roll.

Yelp
I've noticed Groupons and Living Social deals for Asian Fusion restaurants lately. This doesn't necessarily surprise me as Asian Fusion is a bit of a wildcard. My recommendation is *if* you are a foodie with a passion for a particular region of Asian food like Cantonese, Szechuan or other, a regionally focused Asian Restaurant is a better choice. Now, if you are in a group or have a unspecific Asian *hankering,* go for the Asian Fusion. What I have not determined is *if* the fusion is in the bringing together of multiple dishes or *if* it is meant to be multiple flavors and influences in one dish?! I had California Rolls, Vegetable Tempura, Chinese Brown Sauce Broccoli, Salad and Brown Rice. All were prepared to the proper temperature and had fresh ingredients. The Tempura was on the heavier side of Tempura (or greasier). The Chinese Brown Sauce Broccoli was *odd* in that the chicken tasted more like fish! It was definitely "SYSCO" or distributor grade chicken. Passion Fin is good for children, good for those on a budget and good for those wanting something from the sushi bar. As for the main dishes, they were only so-so in flavor in quality of meat.

Sara C.

Yelp
FOOD POISONING. I ordered their house salad and chicken pad Thai yesterday and ended up getting food poisoning definitely from the pad Thai. It really wasn't good to begin with but I ate it since I paid for it. I had severe abdominal pain & vomited a bunch. Do NOT recommend,
google avatar

Cameron S.

Yelp
we ordered takeout for lunch from here and it was both affordable and tasty. it was pretty quick as well. i'm sure we will be back.
google avatar

Curtis M.

Yelp
In a word, we won't be going back here. Extraordinarily noisy at lunchtime. Worse, tables are cheek-to-jowl, and sound-deadening was not on the menu. We were "treated" to non-stop inane conversation from neighboring diners we could reach out and touch (if we were of a mind). Actual quality of food was impeccable, however, they were served on plates are extraordinarily large, which just didn't fit well on extra smallish tables.
google avatar

Abhishek S.

Yelp
i order delivery from here regularly. it's one of my favorite places. the sushi is good, not spectacular. however, what is really amazing here are the chicken tempura rolls, its really addictive.
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
The rolls were kinda bland and mushy. The California roll didn't even have rice around the whole roll. They could do a better job. I was there when they were not busy. On the positive side, it's close to where my job will be located in a few months...and the flying fish roe was fresh, so that was good. Won't hurry over when there are a few other good dining choices in the area, but perhaps the quality will improve.

Ryan K.

Yelp
I bought four sushi rolls, edamame, and a seaweed salad to split with my fiancée. We were full and very happy with the overall quality of the food!
google avatar

Joshua S.

Yelp
They're nice enough and the food is alright. I would give a higher rating, but they had weird fine print on the menu. For example, they don't put cucumber in their California Rolls. It wasn't something that I expected, because it's the most common sushi in the American marketplaces. So, I don't understand why they would omit such an inexpensive component from a roll that EVERYBODY is familiar with. But, they were nice explaining that it was listed in the menu without cucumber. Would've gotten a much better rating otherwise.
google avatar

Ann C.

Yelp
Inconsistent. Sometimes good but never great, sometimes mediocre to pretty bad. For the money I'd head over to Yirisai on River Road or one of the sushi places in downtown Bethesda. Pity since it's a great location, nestled in a quiet suburban neighborhood shopping center - if they could nail consistent quality (oh and improve their service) this could be a really great restaurant.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
I love their lunch specials and love the curry. It comes with a salad or miso soup and is great not too big or too small in portion size. The staff could not be nicer and attentive but not oppressive. I really enjoy this restaurant and it is VERY clean which is a must for me.

Chris B.

Yelp
Sugary, syrupy food with very little authentic flavor. With few exceptions, the food here is made for the obese American palette. Loads of sweetened sauces and no actual spices. Just say no, Bethesda.
google avatar

Jacques D.

Yelp
So, I live in the neighborhood so my wife and I are excited that there is a new sushi restaurant in our community. Up until now we've religiously been going to Kotobuki. The sushi at Passion Fin is good. They don't have much in the way of exotic fish or cuts, like the various types of toro that you get at Matuba, but they cover all the basics. I found that the best items on the menu are the the fancy, elaborate rolls that have a bunch of ingredients. Now for the bad part. I decided to take a chance and try the pad thai. I'm a fan of the dish and used to think that it was like pizza. Even the worst pizza is still pretty good. This is not the case here. The pad thai I got was a bland pile of noodles with a handful of tasteless shrimp scatered on top of the dish as though someone forgot them and added them at the last minute. It was so bad, that I started thinking maybe the chef had some kind of disdain for anyone ordering pad thai in a Japanese restaurant, b/c s/he clearly didn't want me to order it again. I've been back to this place four times now trying different items on their menu. If you are not picky about your nigiri then this place should be fine. Otherwise stick with places like Kotobuki or Matuba. The maki selection is where this place really shines. And their Thai food is an absolute abomination. They should consider sending their chef to intern at Amina Thai, or even Tara Thai to learn how to prepare standard issue Thai dishes.

Jean W.

Yelp
I do not recommend. The chirashi bowl was presented as some sashimi with a bowl of rice on the side. Additionally, I just found out that they automatically added a credit card tip of 15% even though I placed a hearty cash tip on the table. Their response was, "Thanks for the cash." Wow, uncool to charge the tip two days after our meal without even factoring the cash tip that was left on the table. That's the last time I'll visit the establishment.
google avatar

Shawn P.

Yelp
Amazing place! I always get the salmon avocado rolls however that is only the tip of the iceberg here! I would absolutly give this place a chance. Much better than any sushi place in downtown Bethesda.

yajuan h.

Yelp
It a very bad restaurant and don't never eat here the spicy crab roll were disgusting after I ate it I start throwing up.There are mouse crawling around on the desk when I went and pick it up.They need a health inspection.Staff were not wearing mask that is disgusting that people don't wear mask and prepare food for others.Staff don't disinfect each customer after they are done don't go to any passion fin restaurant are all of them are the same so disgusting I hope that they go out of business.I used to work here as a waiter and the spicy roll are disgusting they used a mopping bin to squeeze out the juice and they use that same bin to mop the floor.

Yelp
At long last, an Asian fusion restaurant with sushi has opened in the west end of Bethesda. Located in the Shops at Sumner Place, the shopping center has been the hidden secret for those in Sumner and along the MacArthur Blvd. corridor. After months of waiting for the Grand Opening, it finally did in the midst of the July heat wave. It was worth the wait. Beautifully designed bar area (2 TVs) and a nice sized dining room was packed the first 4 days after opening. We finally made it in, gave our name and waited about 15 minutes in the heart of the dinner rush (7ish). They are still working on the name/seating and the bar was packed as well as the window seats as the A/C was trying its best. Passion Fin owner operators Jeffrey Fox and Jin Lin also own Sake Steakhouse in Laurel, MD and Fuji Sushi in Bel Air, MD but seem to be amazed by the immediate local popularity. Or no one wants to cook when it's 100 degrees and there is a New Restaurant Nearby! The food is an combination Thai and Japanese, with a nice sushi bar in the rear with 3 sushi chefs when we were there. The Thai was represented with delicious Roti Canai (Indian pancake) with a nice curry coconut chicken sauce, meant to be an appetizer, but ended up as our dessert. We had the classic Japanese house salad with ginger dressing while waiting for our sushi. We tried several rolls, expensive but well prepared - the Dynamite $12, Godzilla $12.50 and Empire Rolls ($14, but crunchy inside with great crabmeat & seared tuna, outside avocado with wasabi mayo, spicy may and masago on top). That was plenty for us with Sapporo beer and ice tea. We will be back for a dinner from the grill, hibachi and teriyaki as well as the chef's signature thai curry chicken, shrimp and sea bass dishes. Of course there is Pad Thai and ice cream - will try the Fire Works Ice cream next time. Nice lunch specials, too, with tables available outside. They are already doing lots of take-out. Beer and wine only right now, liquor license pending and their website isn't up yet either. Still a work in progress, but we welcome them to the neighborhood.

Yelp
I have had two lunches to-go from here so this review is only about the food. Thai Basil Chicken: Great price, very skimpy portion. As someone who has been to Thailand many times, this dish was extremely underwhelming. The quality of the chicken was the same as the cheapest Chinese takeouts, the spice was non existent and the sauce had almost no flavor and was watery instead of coating the rest of the ingredients. 3 Roll Sushi Special: Again, excellent price but this time it was good value as well. The flavor of the sushi was very boring though. The one roll with honey was not a pleasant flavor combination and the spicy tuna had no kick at all. It seems like everyone likes their fancy rolls covered in spicy mayo which is pretty hard to mess up. I would recommend Yirasai over in Westbard for sushi over this place any day. Disappointing as I liked their menu and was hoping for a fun new restaurant in the area but the quality of the food is just not good enough for my palate.

Lucinda B.

Yelp
I finished lunch today with a final sip from my water glass only to look down a see a live cockroach floating at the bottom. Needless to say, I left my lunch in the ladies bathroom. Of course we received a refund for our meal but OMG, that cannot erase the upset of finding a roach in your empty water glass. See the review by Rebecca G.

Yelp
I've been here several times being that I work in the same shopping center. The lunch specials prices are a good deal. I've gotten the salmon teriyaki, I was not impressed. The salmon was thin, dry and some what crispy. The mango shimp is very yummy but I wish it came with more shrimp. The hibachi lunches are a hit or miss. The chicken and shrimp with fried rice was okay, i liked the fried rice but there was a soupy sauce left over from the chicken and shrimp (pictured). The shrimp and steak with fried rice was good but the fried rice was made too salty (pictured). I've also gotten a dragon roll and a shrimp tempura roll. My shrimp tempura roll had lettuce in it. Why? idk. My dragon roll was nothing special, I've had better. I've haven't gotten sushi from there since.

Yelp
I have been to Passion Fin a few times. Each outing was very good. They have lots of good choices but I can speak best about the sushi. First, everything is fresh, and they get all the simple things right. The rice is done correctly (it's amazing how poorly some sushi rice is done) and basic sushi--tuna, eel, yellow tail etc are all good. The fish always seems fresh. Next, their basic rolls are tasty and not haphazard. I'm not a sushi snob but there is a big leap between cheaper sushi buffet and rolls made to order at a place like Passion Fin. Their signature, fancy rolls are great. Very interesting with sauces and flavors I can't really tell you what to order but I'll say you should pick fish you like in basic sushi and try new things. Go: you'll be pleased.

Liz B.

Yelp
I've dined/ carried out many times from this restaurant. I love their sushi. Their special rolls are all so delicious. My personal favorite is the "Spicy Crunch Salmon Roll". SOOO yummy! I've never had bad sushi at this place. However, if you're looking for Thai noodles, go to a Thai restaurant. Their drunken noodles were not very flavorful and not even a hint of spicy. Overall, I've always had a positive experience. The staff has been friendly every time, and we've never had to wait to be seated.
google avatar

Liz T.

Yelp
A really rude woman would not do me the courtesy of checking the balance on my gift card when I called the number on the back of the card. I was going to give the card as a regift and told the lady as much but she said I needed to come in to check the balance. Really helpful. Maybe don't list a number on the back of your card if you don't want people calling it.

Yelp
Great presentation, great food (favs are sweet potato roll, veggie roll, and tofu teriyaki dinner). Grices, nice location, and nice bar area. Take out is packaged well, too. I'm vegan and am very pleased with their options.
google avatar

Nick M.

Yelp
I'm a regular there. Not the area'a best sushi, but certainly excellent for the price. The lunch sushi special is awesome (11.95 for 18 pieces of 3 different rolls).I always get the sushi combo b and the spicy seafood app for dinner. Solid. The thai food is aight too...
google avatar

Davina A.

Yelp
Very good sushi restaurant. Everything came out just like we wanted and with such amazing presentation. We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty so we didn't even need a reservation.

Yelp
At best, mediocre. Overpriced and extremely poor service. The fish might as well be from pet smart. But the location is convenient and easily assessable.

ana b.

Yelp
The miso soup was made from a powder you could see at the bottom of the bowl. The unagi was dry and not fresh, the yellowfin rolls were tiny and mediocre at best.
