Italian wine bar, shop & delivery. Wine tastings, dinners, food.

"From the outside, Passione Vino looks like it’s just a wine shop on Leonard Street. But to those in the know, it’s also somewhere where you can push open a door hidden behind a mirrored wall, climb a rickety staircase, take a seat in the maximally decorated upstairs room, and drink some of the best Italian wines you’ll find outside of Italy." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing
"The weekday-only little Italian wine bar and shop on Leonard Street is a favourite with restaurant workers and Italian wine-lovers alike. Early evenings that start with a bottle here tend to end with, well, about five more bottles here (as well as metric-tonne of charcuterie, bread, and a one last glass for good luck). The hush-hush secret upstairs bar is a candlelit, maroon drinking den that you’ll want to say saluté in for the rest of your life. Book ahead if you’re looking to go in numbers, otherwise try your luck and just try leaving after one." - jake missing
"The name of this wine shop and bar translates to ‘wine passion’ which, like everything, sounds much more sordid in English. This all-Italian wine spot is one of the best places in Shoreditch to have a few glasses before moving on elsewhere, or upstairs. If you do choose to go through their hidden mirrored door and head upstairs, you’ll be greeted by a 1920s living room. Invite the charcuterie on your clandestine mission." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna
"This all-Italian osteria in the shrieking heart of Shoreditch is one of the best places to drink wine in London. It’s great for getting things going before moving on elsewhere. Or, you can stay, head upstairs via a hidden mirror door and enter Passione Vino’s boudoir full of rich velvets and Italian nibbles. The Venetian salt cod is a must-order and probably counts as an aphrodisiac—win-win." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna
"Your mum emailed us, and she definitely doesn’t want a poem this year. Wine and a three-course meal though? She’s into it. And by pure coincidence, Passione Vino have teamed up with ‘Low and Slow’ for a Mother’s Day special. You can get a three course meal from this Texas inspired BBQ, delivered straight to your door. Where does Passione Vino come in? With a choice of two wine bundles to pair with the smoked pork belly roast dinner. But keep in mind, they both have to be ordered separately." - rianne shlebak
