The 20 Best Restaurants In Wynwood

"These days, if a restaurant is smashing burgers or selling pasta, there’s an 80% chance it’s happening in Wynwood. But Pasta has a refreshingly light cacio e pepe, razor clams topped with ‘nduja, and a funky gorgonzola and mascarpone cheesecake that proves there is room for another Italian restaurant in Wynwood—especially if it’s this good. Other than some starters and dessert, pasta makes up the entire menu. It has the standard Wynwood look of minimalist decor and exposed ductwork, so nothing here will distract you from your conversation. Get the agnolotti that has a poignant mushroom flavor and the cacio e pepe tossed in a cheesy sauce that doesn’t overwhelm the true star of the plate: the fresh noodles." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

Miami's New Italian Restaurants That Are Actually Worth Your Time

"While not quite as fun as Otto, its new neighbor makes a refreshingly light cacio e pepe, razor clams topped with ‘nduja, and a funky gorgonzola and mascarpone cheesecake that proves there is room for another Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Other than some starters and dessert, pasta makes up the entire menu. Pasta’s pasta prices are mostly under $25, which isn’t bad compared to its ever-growing competitors. It has the standard Wynwood look of minimalist decor and exposed ductwork, so nothing here will distract you from your conversation with a promising Tinder connection. Get the agnolotti that has a poignant mushroom flavor and the cacio e pepe tossed in a cheesy sauce that doesn’t overwhelm the true star of the plate: the fresh noodles. 10 New Miami Restaurants To Try Right Now

"These days, if a restaurant is smashing burgers or selling pasta, there’s an 80% chance it’s happening in Wynwood. Other than some starters and dessert, pasta makes up the entire menu, and Pasta’s pasta prices are mostly under $25, which isn’t bad compared to its ever-growing competitors. Pasta E Basta - Review - Midtown - Miami - The Infatuation

"You can get a solid bowl of pasta at Basta E Pasta, a Midtown restaurant with a sterile interior that feels somewhere between a spa and a nice dentist's office. Pasta is pretty much all that’s on the menu. They make a decent carbonara that could be a bit saltier, but it at least has a pretty yellow hue and uses guanciale. There's also rigatoni amatriciana, lasagna, and a rotating ravioli—all solid, simple pastas that don’t rely on heavy cream sauces. This isn’t the best Italian restaurant in Miami, but we've happily finished everything we've had here (even though it came to the table a little cold) and they have a pretty outdoor patio too. Keep it in mind for a last-minute weeknight dinner." - Ryan Pfeffer

Miami’s New Restaurant Openings - Miami - The Infatuation

"Pasta E Basta is a Midtown restaurant that is all about pasta. With the exception of three antipasto on the menu—it’s just pasta, and that’s it." - Ryan Pfeffer, Virginia Otazo
