Boston Food and Drink Events, September 2023 | Eater Boston

"A recently opened Roxbury pasta spot from Chef Yuri Gama focuses on fresh, made-to-order pastas like penne arrabbiata, mushroom-and-truffle fettuccine, and gnocchi with pesto, while also offering unexpected items such as barbecued pork ribs, an açaí bowl, and Italian chocolate cake for dessert." - Nathan Tavares

Billy & team are the sweetest straight shooters in Boston, apropos for the Foundation Kitchen group. One of my favorite places to linger over a delicious creation. I don’t even care if I stain my clothes with marinara: totally worth the price of blue dawn.

Ordered the spaghetti bolognese. The noodles were very soggy and overcooked, leaving a doughy taste. I usually love all pasta, but I truly couldn’t eat more than a couple bites of this. It looked nothing like the pictures and it barely had any meat sauce on it. Not to mention, this was $23. Please save your money.

Ordered the penne vodka sauce pasta with meatballs and it was extremely salty, I was looking forward to trying out a new place in Cambridge but unfortunately this one was not good. I was not able to finish the pasta at all due to it just being salty in every bite :(

One of the best pastas we tried, definitely the best in Boston Area. I highly recommend campania and blue cheese & parmesan pastas. Pasta is homemade, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The sauce is thick and rich in taste. Everything always tastes amazing. But the best thing they have is their Tiramisu. I got addicted to it! It is the best tiramisu I have ever tried. Most importantly, this place is super affordable! For 18 dollars you get a big pasta plate. And the owner, Yuri, is so nice! He makes sure we are happy every time we come (and we come every week at least!). They even gifted us desserts couple of times. Overall, it is an incredible restaurant and I highly recommend you to try it ☺️

Great food: starters, salads and pasta. Very friendly staff. We came as strangers, we left as friends.

The pasta was doughy and had an odd flavor. More concerning were the serious hygiene issues: staff wore bandaids without gloves while handling food and touching plates (a health code violation), and I received dirty cutlery three times. I was genuinely looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately I won’t be returning. Paid over $60 for a subpar experience, and it was sadly a waste of money. While the staff was kind and welcoming, the food quality and hygiene standards were unacceptable.

Awesome place in Foundation Kitchen. Both our pasta dishes were great, and had generous portions for the price. The Tiramisu was the best I’ve had anywhere. We’ll definitely be back!
