Pastamara - Bar con Cucina

Lovely Italian spot tucked inside the Ritz-Carlton Vienna – just a 5–6 minute walk from the Musikverein, so it’s super convenient for a pre-concert meal. The vibe is stylish but not stuffy, with modern decor and a nice bit of Sicilian flair. Food was delicious and beautifully presented, though just a heads-up: portions are on the smaller side and prices are definitely on the higher end. That said, it’s still a great experience overall. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member, don’t forget you can earn points by registering your card through the MoreCravings programme – nice little perk! Special shoutout to Emily, who was absolutely lovely – so kind and attentive, with just the right level of care. She made the whole experience feel even more special. Would happily come back for the food, cocktails, and great service!

We went for Nye dinner, 2 people. The service was fantastic, we firstly had drinks at the bar and we were assisted by Aina who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, then we sat at our table and Stefania was assisting us and we also had George the sommelier suggesting a wonderful wine to pair our dinner. Both were very friendly, with a smile, made us feel comfortable and were knowledgeable. The food itself was incredible, the flavours were amazing and the combination of the flavours and the balance was superb. The decoration of the hotel was great, but the restaurant was lacking from festive decoration. Apart from that everything else was great!

The restaurant is locate inside Ritz hotel, the service was exceptional; the restaurant was very busy and we had some delays tho. The food was very tasty but the portions are not generous. Pasta and sauce were delicious. For us the dessert Dolce Moka was the best choice. Water 12€ and cocktails 17€. For two people, including cocktails, it was around 150€. I recommend this place but it’s true everything is pricey inside there…

This exceptional restaurant nestled inside the stunning Ritz hotel truly wowed us. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff who even brought me a cozy blanket when they noticed I was chilly. Every dish we tried was superb, and the cocktails were delightful. The only downside was the significantly high prices.

Both a la carte menu and tasting menu are available. We chose the 6-course tasting menu which included 2 antipasti, 2 pasta, 1 main & 1 dessert. It also came along with amuse bouche, bread basket and truffle ice cream to clean your palate (or just to indulge <3). Items might change depending on seasonal ingredients or you may also remark your personal preference. • Feedback • We had a wonderful time here and glad that we did visit this restaurant on the last evening of the trip. Dishes were no doubt delicious and creative. My favourite dish are the Pasta Con Le Sarde and the Tuna Belly (Toro!). Ladies & gentlemen serving the table are incredibly friendly and attentive. Dimitry, the sommelier, checked the day’s ingredients and recommended us some excellent wine to pair with the menu. Stefania, who served our table, is helpful and welcoming! Price is reasonable and worth the value given this cosy environment and excellent service.

Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. The Pastamara staff did a wonderful job the entire experience and the food was phenomenal. The opening salvo of an amuse bouche was fantastic, a stuffed olive and a tartlet. For an appetizer I got the beef tartare that was extremely tender and a perfect pairing with the focaccia olive bread. For my main I got the tortoloni, cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. For my dessert I got the cannolo that was an outstanding end of my meal. My wife got an asparagus tart for hwr appetizer, with spaghetti and bottarga for her main. She ended her meal with the pannacotta with the exact texture and giggle that it should have. Compliments to the entire team for a great meal.

Loved it here! A comfortable, casual spot but great food and service. Huge wine list. Do not miss the raw red shrimp. They are sublime.

Enjoyed the evening and the food. “Greetings from the kitchen” were special (eg olive with roasted nut) and main dishes yummy. However, the pulpo did not taste fresh at all (almost to complain). Overall, the restaurant deserves 4 starts (also considering the high price of 30-35€ per plate).

The service was outstanding, vibe was very put together and clean, and food was also so flavorful. We also ordered the truffle pasta... two times it was that good! We also ordered a cannoli type of dessert. That was a perfect finisher for the meal! It was light and had a nice robust citrus flavor!

Service was good. Food was good. Starters, however were amazing. My wife and I could not get enough tuna belly and yellowtail. Simply delicious with their light sauces.
