AMAZING cake! This was such an awesome place to work with -- Karolina made the most beautiful cake inside and out. Such incredible craftsmanship and creativity to make a legit authentic Hungry Catepillar cake. Her work was impeccable, and super tasteful fit for adults too! The inside was also super delicious. I will be using every year from now on. Highly recommend!

I ordered the safari cake toppers from her and it was the show stopper at my friends baby shower. She also has a wide range of cake toppers you can choose from. She can also do custom designs. I recently had Karolina help me make a cake for my son's first birthday party. I had her do a two tier cake (cookies and cream and strawberry shortcake) and a baby smash cake which were delicious and moist! Her design- beautiful! She was very easy to work with, very prompt communication, and though I had asked to make a few changes after our initial agreement she was very accommodating. Would definitely work with her again for future events!

The cakes that I have bought are always exceeding expectations. What I thought was a simple birthday cake for my niece turned into a piece of art that will be remembered for a long time. Chocolate chip cake flavor also got many of my non cake eating relatives to fall in love and request the recipe.

This is the 4th year in a row we've worked with Karolina to make a cake and cupcakes for our daughter's birthday and they turned out absolutely amazing (again)! She captured my daughter's vision and Elsa Frozen party theme perfectly - the cake and cupcakes weren't just beautiful, they were delicious as well. They were a hit with all of our guests and most importantly, made our daughter's day extra special. Thank you again, Karolina!

We loved our experience with Karolina for our son's first birthday and our resulting Tarzan-themed cake. I specifically requested lots of foliage, baby Tarzan characters, and my son's name and she went above and beyond. Everyone not only loved our cake design, they thought the actual cake was so delicious! It truly was an incredible cake. Karolina herself is very kind, communicative, and helpful. My FIL came to pick up the cake early morning as she was leaving for a trip that day (with the level of detail on the cake, one would never believe she was about to travel!) and she was so great about the whole experience. Prices are hefty, but you get what you pay for and I think it was totally worth it!

We set out to find a custom cake for my 4 year old daughter's Sleeping Beauty birthday party and Pastel did not disappoint. She was the most reasonably priced pastry chef in the area and came up with an absolutely enchanting cake and cupcakes. We got so many inquires about the cake from the parents and the kids could not help but to scoop up their favorite cupcake design as soon as my daughter blew out the candles. Not only were these cupcakes and cake beautiful to look at, but they were also delicious. I'm writing this review in hopes that she forever stays in business so I can keep coming back.

Karolina is phenomenal! She works fast. She has great communication. She is very kind & personable and she executes your ideas to perfection. My son's cake was amazing and added an elevated level of joy for his special day. Additionally, Karolina was very thorough with care instructions to ensure we enjoyed her beautiful creation as long as possible.

Such a great cake! Design came out exactly how we wanted and tasted delicious. Cake was made on schedule and Karolina was very accommodating to all our requests. Big hit at my son's 100 day party and will be getting another cake from her for his birthday!

Karolina did an amazing job with the cupcakes for my baby shower. I received so many compliments from guests on both the appearance and flavor of the cupcakes - it's rare to get both of these at once when purchasing "pretty" baked goods, but Karolina nailed it! She executed my vision perfectly with beautiful attention to detail. Leading up to the event she was easy to work with, communicative and organized. I enjoyed everything about my experience and look forward to working with her again for other events.

We ordered a Construction Trucks theme birthday cake for my son's 2nd Birthday. It was a 2-tiered cake for people size 30-35 guests. The process to order was simple. I texted her my requirement - theme idea, size, flavor. She sent different designs based on the theme. They can combine designs and make the characters more/less realistic or cute depending on your ask. We picked a design we liked and asked to modify a few things around. We chose 2 flavors for the cake: one layer - strawberry, and other layer - cookies & cream. We opted for the cake to be delivered on location. The cake was absolutely stunning. The colors were so vibrant. Kids we thrilled and adults equally appreciated the beautiful cake. The baker is an absolute artist!! Also the flavor was spot on. Especially the strawberry flavor was delicious. The price was ~ $400 for 35 people servings. Delivery charge was additional based on your location. Thank you!! You made our celebration perfect for my little one.

Literally the best. My daughter has been talking about having a rainbow cake for her birthday for nearly a year, and Karolina made her dream come true. I reached out a month before her birthday by filling out a form on her website. We were really lucky that she was available, so I'd recommend reaching out earlier! From start to finish, Karolina exceeded all my expectations and created a magical, rainbow layered cake that was not only stunning but also tasted absolutely divine. We also ordered three dozen mini cupcakes (half vanilla, half chocolate) that were still delicious the day after. The attention to detail and creativity was simply incredible. Karolina was a such a joy to work with. She was patient and knowledgable, and brought my vision to life by asking all the right questions, especially ones that I didn't think of (number of age or name on cake?). Karolina was always available to answer any questions and accommodate any special requests that I had, like no frosting for one cupcake. Highly recommend Pastel to anyone looking for a unique and delicious cake for their special occasion. Thank you for making my daughter's birthday unforgettable! Karolina was a professional from start to finish, and the cake exceeded my expectations. She asked the right questions and her creation was exactly what I had in mind, but even better. She was easy to work with, very responsive, and got everything done and to me exactly as needed. The cake was both gorgeous AND tasted incredible, which is a hard thing to do at the same time. I will definitely be using her again for future parties.

Karolina put in so much effort to help me last minute make a red egg and ginger cake for my son's 100 day celebration (man yue, bai ri party). She was so sweet to research inspiration for me when I was overwhelmed. The cake was a hit!! And so beautiful, I felt guilty cutting into it.

Karolina created an amazing cake for my 50th birthday. The flavors were wonderful and I received many compliments from guests. She blended the color that I wanted on the cake that matched the decor of my party. Karolina is easy to work with and has excellent follow through. I would not hesitate to work with her again the next time I need a cake for a special occasion.

Karolina knocked it out of the PARK (baseball pun intended) on my wife's birthday cake. She absolutely loved it and the guests could not stop swooning over it and taking lots of pictures. Highly highly recommend. We ordered a cake and smash cake for my baby's first birthday party and they were such a hit! We went back and forth on the design for a couple of weeks and I was a bit worried about the end product. But the cakes were so beautiful, I almost didn't want anyone to eat them! We'd asked for different flavors for the two layers, cookies and cream and strawberry. I personally liked the cookies and cream better but both layers were delicious.

I ordered a custom birthday cake quite last minute from SF Pastels and Karolina was kind enough to accommodate for me despite the time crunch which I really appreciate! I requested a baby pink vintage style heart cake and provided some inspo pics to her. Karolina went above and beyond with the cake and it turned out even better than the inspo pictures!! I bought a cake for my niece's birthday and she was going through a rainbow unicorn phase. When looking at the photo to be used as a model I was excited but what I received was so much more than I could have imagined. Cake was amazing and unicorn toppers were perfect. My niece even wanted to keep the clouds and would not let them be thrown out. Could not have asked for a better cake and price compared to other custom cakes! Highly highly recommend.

I wanted a small but impressive cake for my birthday and Pastel Sf exceeded all my expectations. The cake was absolutely beautiful, Karolina is an amazing artist and created a cake so pretty I didn't want to eat it. The cake had all the elements I asked for and made with so much attention to details, the cake was delicious also and was pretty on the outside and inside as well! Karolina was able to bring the cake of my dreams to live! Will definitely contact her for future celebrations, I've seen her gorgeous work for children cakes and can't wait to try another of her creations.

I ordered a custom cake from Pastel for my baby's 1st birthday and Karolina did an amazing job on the cake! The theme I requested was a little bit unusual for a baby, but Karolina pulled it off! I was so impressed by the design and the details, as Karolina captured all the elements of the theme. The mango curd filling cake was also quite delicious. The order process and communication were super easy too. If anyone wants to order a costume cake, I highly recommend Pastel.
