Pastelão do Maluf

Traditional eat stop in Campos do Jordão. The food is really good and they have plenty of options, for all tastes! Price is not cheap but it’s fair for the size of the portion and the amount of filling! The only downsize is that they don’t accept credit card as payment method, only cash and debit card. Overall it’s worth the visit!

Food was good but the lady at the reception was not that friendly. They don’t take credit cards so come prepared.

The deep fried snack served there (pastel) is delicious and is enough for a meal. However the place could be better organized. The snacks are not cheap but the value is worth for the size.

Had a fondue meal. I'm not a foodie and I'm not really someone that likes to pay to cook their own food but this place was a good experience. The live music was great and the food was great, even if it was me that did most of the cooking. Great place.

A landmark in Campos. It is a "must go" place. Many types of pastel. Great to go with kids. And the pastel IS a complete meal. By the way, the new place is huge! Get there, grab a beer, and stay there for a while until your pastel is ready.

The pastels are greatly overpriced and unremarkable, our drinks were full of sugar, the table was dirty and no one bothered to clean it. High price for little value.

Great. I always go there when in Campos. Tradition. R$30 for a pastel is not easy... but once a year is doable. The hot chocolate was not approved.

They serve huge pastels for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it if you don't want to spend much on food in Campos.

I absolutely love pastels. It is one of the things I look forward to eating when I go to SP. We went for a romantic getaway to Campos and I read about this place on Yelp. I have to say it did not disappoint. We shared the dried beef and cheese pastel and a huge side of fries. The live music was a nice touch. If I am ever back in Campos, I will surely eat here again.

When traveling through Campos do Jordao, Brazil (or Brazil in general) stopping for pastel at Pastelao do Maluf is a must! It is a popular local favorite, so do not be surprised to wait in a long line, but if you are a little adventurous or know that you like pastel, you will not be disappointed. I was not able to finish an entire pastel, but rather had to split one with a friend, which goes to show how large the portions are. You can try various fillings and combinations to get creative. There are many offered on the menu, so browse until you feel content that you've made the right decision.
