Read some reviews of Florence recommended dish; some of them said that we need to try "schiacciata fiorentina" Here -- kind of Orange sponge cake, although i usually don't prefer orange sponge cake, i think i have to try. Sadly, there didn't make it because of not the period of time (maybe because not the best time to make this dish according to the harvest time?) So i ask what is their best seller. One of the customer directly said: cremino. And the staff also agree. Kind of pastry filled with custard? IT WAS SOOOO GOOD Highly recommend, u have to try. With a cup of cappuccino, they paired perfectly. Restroom available friendly staff Ambience: 👍👍👍👍👍

My Italian partner praised so much this place for their schiachiata fiorentina, he said the place is authentic. Well i never tried any so when he took it home for me the schiachiatta tastes good. The next time we decided to have dessert in the cafe. It was very busy, very lack of service and confusing. We got the tiramisu cake looks very tempting but tastes honestly i make better tiramisu’s taste than this..

While only in Florence for 1 night and I am so glad we stumbled upon this incredible restaurant. The staff were so welcoming, and went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations. Wow! We had specific dietary restrictions, and they created absolutely perfect dishes!! Please go here! You won’t regret it. It is pricey, but you get amazing food with the highest quality ingredients. Oh!!! Don’t forget to get some pastry desserts before leaving. Melt in your mouth!!

We live in Firenze and for us,this is the very best bar and pasticceria in the city. A must visit if you are in the area. Lots of seating outside and a good place for people watching. Unbelievable selection of the highest quality home made pastries,cakes and panini.

The owner of our apartment in Florence recommended this pasticceria. It was awesome. One of the best pastries I have ever had. Prices are also very good. Perfect.

If heaven had a pasticceria and served schiacciata alla fiorentine, this would be it. I knew Giorgio's was famous, because it meant that people actually took the bus to visit and eat there, when they might not ever visit friends or family if they don't live in the same town ;-). Located in Soffiano, it is a totally doable bus ride on the 6, in about 20 minutes you're there. Why is it amazing? They have perfected the art of traditional Tuscan sweets, no bullshit, just sugar, and love, and whatever other drug they put in their 'mille-foglie' cakes. I highly recommend the schiacciata, cenci, sacher cake and their tasty panini, I had one with prosciutto and artichoke which was awesome. Take some to go and your life will never be the same. During carnivale season, you will see the line snake out the door as people pick up their treats, I was there for over two hours and there was a almost constant stream of people, I don't know how they could even make that many cakes! To my waistline's horror, they also serve an abundance aperitivo and weekend dish dinner. When Florentine's tell you a place in the city serves good fish, you should be listening since well, Florence is nowhere near the coast.

This Pasticceria was my first in Florence and it remains at the top of my list after all these years. This is a quite famous bar in Florence but not so much to tourists because it is out of the historical center and in a residential area. I love this place because not only do they have amazing pastries, but the staff are the real deal, they don't fool around. Coffee is made to perfection every time. I like taking my coffee outside and enjoying the neighborhood characters who pass by, enjoying a few more rounds of coffee while I sit back and relax. I see a lot of locals meeting here, unfortunately it isn't my zona so I am not a regular, but it's definitely a spot that is worth the trek to. To me this pasticceria is the real deal!

The most decadent pastries in Florence. Their cake was one of the best things I have ever wanted. So light and delicious. Unlike anything I've ever had. A must go when in Florence!

This is one of my favorite places to get seafood in Firenze. Pasticceria in front featuring delicious dolci. In the rear, some of the best crudo Florence has to offer. Expensive but well worth the price. Food is delicate and interesting! Just go and you will be quite satisfied. I promise. Dishes are smaller than most places here but that adds to the elegance. Enjoy!

Stopped here on the way to airport ... great pastries and cappuccino. A perfect last stop for Florentine sweets before departing Italy.

Such a yummy cafe! Beautiful gourmet desserts and sandwiches but it's not even expensive. It's a local place without a lot of tourists, at least when we stopped there. If you're in the area stop by! Highly recommend.
