"Open for: Breakfast, lunch, and aperitivo Price range: $ Owned by husband-and-wife duo Sissi and Zig Faye, Pasticceria Sissi is an old-school Milanese bakery with pink walls and a well-balanced selection of sweet and savory pastries. The staff fills croissants with custard right on site, and if the weather allows, you should enjoy your sweet snack in the backyard. That said, Sissi is at its best during Carnevale, when the Fayes make holiday-specific treats like chiacchiere, crunchy rectangles of fried dough doused in powdered sugar. Vibe check: There’s a cozy garden." - Elizabeth De Filippo-Jones

Very atmospheric and nice place! The food is delicious, but the best thing about this place is the coffee. Honestly, as far as I've tasted, it's the most enjoyable coffee in Milan. Once I had a taste of it, I literally come back for it every day. That's why I'm a bit shocked by its rating. It's definitely 11/10

My fav breakfast place in town. Amazing cappuccino ☕️ and brioche 🥐, a truly Italian experience. Of course anything here is excellent. Staff is lovely and very professional. There is a nice little terrace outside with trees which is very nice and could get busy in the weekend. 5*

Brioche crema was soooo good! It costs 2.5eur, i also ordered fresh orange juice which costs 5eur. Personnel were very helpful and friendly, they speak English and the service is very quick. Orange juice is a bit pricey but overall good place for the breakfast

Don’t be deterred by the crowded and unassuming store front. It has one of the best brioche with crema (in a croissant shape but not a croissant). The chocolate brioche is also lovely. There are seating in the back garden if you don’t mind paying double the price than standing at the bar.

I had espresso, brioche with cream and bresola in the afternoon. Servers here are so kind that they teach me their systems how to order. Also when I bite the foods, they hugged me with their own moods. Felt so comfortable. I would like to come again in the morning someday before leaving Italy!!

Very friendly staff and delicious pastries! Backyard is cozy and definitely recommend trying their tea and brioche with cream👌🏻 Prices are a bit high compared to local shops, but still was a great experience.

Perfect for your quick stop Italian breakfast. They do charge slightly more to sit down. But the prices are still extremely reasonable (this coming from someone who has to pay $5 for a coffee every day in NYC). Either stand at the bar for your coffee and brioche or grab a table. Or if you’re lucky to be there in the warmer seasons there is a great little garden out the back if you want to sit down. Very busy pre-work, so try to skip the work rush unless you want to full Milan hustle.

Brioche crema and chocolate looks amazing and tastes amazing. I am not sure but I think the prices are more expensive when you sit. Cappucino was 3.5€ and brioche with filling is 2.5€ while simple brioche is 1.5€.

Yelp
The gem of the neighbourhood. Friendly, funny, very local, and fantastically delicious breakfast is here! We stayed nearby and visit to this place was the best way to start our Italian mornings. Highly, highly recommended! Especially highly recommended: all kinds of pastries and souffles with wild fresh strawberries ( a must!), All sorts of mini croissants.

Yelp
A magic patisserie. A stop-in-time cafe that seems to come out from a Wes Anderson movie. Vintage cocoa prints and drawings, old pink/peach color decorations everywhere, and the delicious good looking pastries and cakes, will welcome you in a gem place. You first get your order, eat, drink, and then pay. There are few tables and most of the people stand at the bar, but there is also a small garden with quite few tables, really nice. Everything I tried was terrific. I loved the small pastries, mini-chocolate Linz on top. Coffee is perfect. Remember to take a look outside few windows away because you can see the artisans making the pastries! Also, closed on Tuesday. Weird day off.
