19 Top Jewish Delis Around NYC | Eater NY

"This offshoot of a Lincroft, New Jersey establishment on Hoboken’s main drag offers a very full deli menu, including some invented surprises. That means all the usual square and round knishes, split pea and matzo ball soups, kasha varnishkas, bagels and lox, and potato latkes, in addition to stranger additions like a mini Reuben in a hot dog bun and pastrami chili con carne. The pastrami, by the way, is quite good, while the corned beef verges on the rubbery." - Robert Sietsema

UPDATE** : The owner responded to my review so I called and spoke with the owner, Monica, about how my experience was both times. She said the premium meat they sold me as an up-charge is supposed to be more fatty, however it was originally described to me as more lean and juicy (I uploaded a couple photos of the sandwich for reference.) I left the exact time from my receipt & my receipt number because the owner wanted to check their cameras and I also gave a phone number to the owner like they requested of me so they could contact me back 15 min later (so far I haven’t heard back from them yet almost 2 days later.) I truly felt uncomfortable and on top of that I spent nearly $55 on two sandwiches that neither of us were able to actually enjoy. It was especially disappointing for the almost $30 pastrami sandwich with “upgraded meat quality.” **ORIGINAL: I have been here twice: both times I ordered the same thing. The first time was dine in and the second time was take out because of our poor experience the first time. Both times I’ve experienced issues with the food and the service. My first time here I sat inside and ordered to stay I tipped almost 23% on my order which was a hot pastrami sandwich piled high ( an upgrade that costs $10 which means it’s 1 lb of pastrami instead of usual portion) plus the meat “quality” upgrade option for $2.99 (big rip off) and their turkey sandwich. They ask if you’d like to upgrade to their premium meat quality option for additional $2.99 so I opted for it both times I have dined here. Both times I was delivered very gristly and fatty meat with many bites throughout being inedible. I thought it was just a fluke the first time hence coming back and doing take out however imagine my frustration when getting home and realizing I’ve received the same if not worse quality sandwich. On both occasions they messed up the turkey sandwich in my order and included ingredients I asked them to leave off and left off others that I didn’t ask them to omit that I was expecting on the sandwich. I really wanted to like this place since it’s closer to me than Harold’s in Edison NJ. To top it off while I’m waiting for my to go order the girl who rang me up is complaining to her manager that I tipped them but didn’t tip them 20% or more on a TO GO order. It made me uncomfortable and upset that I left a tip on a to go order at all for them. I’ve worked in the industry for a long time and I’ve rarely ever gotten tipped on to go orders, I also never expected people to tip on to go orders. I have only expected it during special circumstances like during the Covid shut down for example. The manager could have taken that opportunity to offer her some humbling advice instead of making the customer even more uncomfortable by laughing off her complaining to him about it in front of customers. I will not be back and I would definitely not recommend this to friends or family members or co workers etc. I’m giving them two stars for the nice decor and clean seating inside. If it wasn’t for that they’d get only one star from me.

I ordered takeout online a pastrami and corn beef sandwich. I added coleslaw, Russian dressing and mustard so like a sloppy Joe all said and done. I got home and I opened up my sandwich and right off I was disappointed. It looked like all I got was corn beef and that definitely looked like the meat was a little old. I tried to see if there was pastrami in it and there was some meat that had a little different texture and little different color so if that was the pastrami I would have been embarrassed to serve that especially coming from a place called the pastrami house. The sad thing about the sandwich is you look at the picture in the menu it actually looks like what they should be serving in a restaurant called pastrami house. It is the old bate and switch scam. To top it off you barely see the coleslaw, Russian dressing or the mustard and even the taste was very average.

Google
Quick service, friendly staff, huge portions, and delicious food. They make their own pastrami, corned beef, and brisket on site. They even grind it up into hotdogs, which is an unusual treat. The beef barley soup is amazing, and topped with thin sliced brisket that adds a delicious complexity of flavor.

Google
The only reason they get the 2 stars is because the place was spotless and the servers were very nice. That said... I ordered 1lb of pastrami, and that's why it said on the ticket they stapled to the bag. When I got home, I found 1lb of corned beef. As a bonus, there was no mustard, and they gave us 5 slices of rye, because you know... you may want a half of a sandwich. Not sure how you can screw up the basics, but for $35, they need to get it together. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Google
I’ve enjoyed eating here before and usually find the food quality and portions to be on point. Giving it 5 Stars in the past for food, customer service and how clean the establishment is. However, today I’m really disappointed with my most recent order. I didn’t dine in today, my order was placed through Grubhub. I tried the pastrami, egg, and cheese on a roll, which was advertised as having crispy pastrami. Unfortunately, the pastrami came in tiny chopped bits instead of slices, and there was barely any meat in the sandwich. For the price, it just didn’t feel worth it. Hoping this was a one-off, but I’d recommend sticking to other menu items based on this experience.

Google
I drove around an hour round trip to get food from here and when I got it home my Turkey Club sandwich is missing the third piece of bread and has no bacon. We were sold on upgrading the meat in the pastrami sandwich because it would be premium and leaner but it is no better.

Google
The best corned beef sandwich I have had in a long time. The owners are amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Google
It's a Kosher Deli - a really good Kosher deli. I've had my share of pastrami and corned beef sandwiches in NYC and Brooklyn. This place is as good as any place you'll find. I had the reuben which was piled high and delicious. The folks I were with had the falafel sandwich and the chicken Caesar wrap, both of which they said were awesome. We also all got square knishes which were just great. If you're looking for a good Jewish Kosher deli, waste no more time and head over!!

Yelp
We went to this restaurant on a Sunday at noon and were the only people in there. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful when ordering and was able to sit us very quickly. Overall great server. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and looked nice. They had music from the 90's playing, so very nice ambience. Parking is a little difficult, however there was a parking garage down the street that is free on Sundays, we just followed the signs. For context, this was the first and only pastrami sandwich I have had (so I have nothing to compare this too), and I am usually a very picky eater. We ordered the Ruben, and the Rachel, one with and one without sauerkraut. The sandwiches were very large even for the junior size! I believe our server said that the junior size is 5 oz of pastrami and the larger size had 8 oz. Overall, I really enjoyed the Rachel without sauerkraut and I think that for people who enjoy sauerkraut, it would be a nice addition to the sandwich! The best part was the Russian dressing on the Rachel, it really brought the sandwich together! We also got onion rings and fries which were a nice compliment to our sandwiches. They have individual cans/bottles for drinks except water I believe. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and worth my time and money.

Yelp
Been to the other location a few times, this is definitely the nicer of the two interior setup/design wise. This one makes you feel like you're more in a NY deli. Fast service, friendly staff. Parking situation isn't that great, but the quality is worth the headache over all. Had the Hot Pastrami sandwich....Excellent! I've also never heard of the brand of chips they carry, 'Charles Chips,' but they were very good as well. Grades: Hot Pastrami- A++ Fries- B Chips- A

Yelp
A friendly welcome and fun 50's decor. Good good. Good coffee. Large portions. Made fresh in house. We had more than enough to take home. Wish the parking was better in town but, that's clearly not their issue at all. Overall, a very good experience.

Yelp
Great spot for some legit Jewish deli food in Morristown. It's a storefront spot on busy Speedwell Ave. I got lucky and found an on-street spot close by. You can order at the counter or they have table service. About a dozen tables, plus a couple on the sidewalk. Decor is NY deli kitsch. Loved the wooden crate of seltzer bottles. Brought back memories of my grandma's house in Brooklyn. The menu is varied but the focus is on delicatessen food. Stuck with a few staples on this trip. Corned beef is fresh and flavorful, very lean. It was slightly dry. Served as ordered on rye with spicy mustard. Pickle and slaw on the side. Chicken soup with a matzoh ball is spot-on. Nicely seasoned broth, chunks of chicken and veggies. Matzoh ball firm and perfect. This is as good as grandma used to make. Also had a kasha-stuffed knish. It's a square potato knish, slit down the center and stuffed with kasha. Never had this combo before but it was very tasty. Filling moist and well seasoned. excellent kasha. Crusty flaky dough. Good! A couple of minor nits. The soup could have been hotter. The sandwich and knish are served in cardboard fry boats. Could have used a plate. Soup served in a plastic bowl on a plastic tray. Needs a real bowl. Upgrades on these things will elevate the experience to legit deli level. All in all though... If you want to get your Jewish deli food on.... This place will scratch your itch.

Yelp
Nopeeeee. This was not a positive experience. Matzah ball soup had such an off flavor and tasted rancid. It was like $9 for the tiniest amount. The knish was actually really good, but was also wildly overpriced at $7 for one. I ordered the pastrami sandwich specifically with mustard and coleslaw on the side (I was eating it later and didn't want the bread to get soggy). The sandwich came smothered in mustard and cole slaw. The bread was soggy. The actual pastrami was good, but this definitely wasn't the sandwich experience that I was hoping for. Maybe dine-in would be a better experience. I'm willing to give it another shot.

Yelp
Very much a breakfast and lunch place with plenty of seats to dine in yet open late enough for dinner, friendly people and quick service. Order at the counter, they run your food out, there's no table service really. Offers "artistic" egg sandwiches for about $8, many corned beef & pastrami piled high sandwiches about $15, and a burger for ppl who don't like deli. The fries are steak fries, thick and done well, $6. If you still have room, there's cheesecake and many kinds of cookies. The old-fashioned seltzer bottles are just for show, still they will make you an egg cream with seltzer for $6. My number one pastrami on rye was good, first time I've had one dressed with coleslaw and dressing instead of mustard, includes a pickle and a tiny side of slaw. Vegetarian rating: two stars for the felafel and knish options. Street parking is scarce here. They're trying to give a parking discount for the Headquarters Plaza garage just across the street, but it's a work in progress. Buy 10 sandwiches and get a punch on your loyalty card, get a small sandwich for free. That might be just a little too much meat for me.

Yelp
Really enjoyed pastrami house! I'm Not a huge pastrami lover but I will be coming back more often. My husband ordered the sandwhich with pastrami and corned beef and it was STUFFED. The Russian dressing is delectable, and I can't stop thinking about it. I ordered the classic hot pastrami on rye with the Russian dressing and it was really good. It was so big that I had to take the second half home. We also ordered some sides, the onion rings and fried macaroni and cheese. Both were okay, a little oily so if you want something lighter I'd stick to the sandwiches. Love the old school diner vibe with the Coca Cola chairs and high tops. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Kinda disappointed. The place was cute. You're instantly transported to a New York Deli compete with subway tile and all. The menu is extensive and I love all the options. Prices were OK. The girl at the counter was nice. She explained everything. I came for the St Patrick's Day special they had going on where you get a free Irish Soda Bread with the Corned Beef Meal. It was a large serving. Enough for 2. But sadly, the food, in addition to the long wait and what seemed like confusion on their part, I was disappointed. We came as soon as they opened & they just didn't seem like they knew what they were doing in regards to what that whole St Patrick's Day special meal was about. Then when I ate the food, the corned beef was dry like it was microwaved, the mashed potatoes lacked everything, and forget about the soda bread. That was awful. Hard as rock & so dry. The carrots & cabbage was the only good part and it says a lot that I have to laud carrots and cabbage. Also got a Pastrami sandwich. She was nice about having us taste it different ways. The flavor was ok but I've had so much better.

Yelp
I really would like to give this a 3.5 but whojevstsrs only here. My daughter and I enjoyed a great lunch here. Wasn't crowded a little after noon so we walked right in. There was a little confusion as to whether there was table service but eventually we were told yes . However after sitting for 10 minutes with no wait staff in sight I got up and ordered at the counter. Now that that's out of the way I can get to the good stuff! Very large menu with many Jewish deli style foods. Daughter & I split an open faced sandwich of pastrami , corned beef, coleslaw & Swiss on 2 potato pancakes & sides of sour green tomatoes & kadha varnishkas. It was unanimous- food was delicious !! We'd go back again in a second. There still seem to be some wait staff issues to be worked out but won't stop us from returning

Yelp
I've now been back here a couple of times and they are consistently good. For that reason, I am bumping them up to a 5. Today I had tuna salad (lettuce, onion, tomato) on a roll. Came with coleslaw and a 1/4 sour pickle. Their pickles are THE BEST. Tuna salad was nice and cold and not watery. The additions on the sandwich were also good quality - lettuce was fresh and crisp. People are also always so nice. Love this place.
google avatar

Margie A.

Yelp
A quaint little storefront with yummy food. I had chicken soup and a hot dog but the menu was quite extensive! The employees were very nice and the prices were reasonable. I will come back!
google avatar

Todd C.

Yelp
After waiting for weeks, we ordered take out during the restaurant's soft opening. I ordered the cyclone - a brisket sandwich with onions and peppers. The brisket was perfectly moist with almost no fat. It melted in my mouth. The onions and peppers were scant, but I liked the pickle spear; the side of cole slaw was ok. My wife got a turkey sandwich that she asked to have cooked (it wasn't) but her meal was still good. The inside of the place reminds me slightly of Johnny Rockets. Loved the old school buckets of Charles Chips (we used to order them all of the time as a kid). The place still has some things to iron out - my sandwich had the wrong kind of cheese & the door was locked when I tried to get the order - but the place has a ton of potential. Parking is a challenge. There is limited street parking but an expensive parking garage and CVS' lot are potential options. I can't wait to try this place again! On a side note, I can't believe I beat Chris of Morristown to an eating establishment! There's a first for everything!

Yelp
Get your hot and succulent pastrami sandwiches here. Good bread to pastrami to cheese to sauerkraut ratio.
google avatar

Sam C.

Yelp
The ambiance in this deli restaurant spells clean and crisp. The counter staff was very help and eager to assist. I had the classic pastrami sandwich. It was lean, delicious and filling.
google avatar

Sandy B.

Yelp
The food was tasty but lukewarm. The tea was also lukewarm so refused it. The girl at the counter gave me the money back for it.
google avatar

Warren B.

Yelp
It's Jewish food for those who aren't Jewish. Like ordering a pastrami on white. Sure people eat that way but..... I'll take a real Jewish deli. It's not Katz's. Not even Hobby's!
google avatar

Juliet B.

Yelp
We bought a Hot Pastrami and The Rachel. Both were very good and filling. The meat was a little greasy but tasty. Could use a little more seasoning. The sandwiches run around $17. You can get 2 sandwiches if you are not a big eater. They do have gluten free bread. The person who took our order was really friendly and knowledgable of the menu. There is ample room to stay and eat it at a table but they don't have the staff for table service. So you just order and pickup at counter. No big deal. It is a b***ch to park and Hyatt is now $7 so future visits will be for pickup or delivery. They are apparently working on validating for parking but I can't see that being cost effective for them.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
A few guys in work ordered for myself and 2 coworkers. We all had Pastrami on rye. I ordered online, parked across the street in front of Hyatt, parking is tough around there. We all loved the sandwiches, will definitely be going back. Service was great as well, I told the woman behind the counter I'm picking up she helped immediately.
google avatar

Nibuz E.

Yelp
YUM. Finally made our way down to Pastrami house and got two sandwiches (dressed hot pastrami [gold] on rye and cyclone on sub). In one word: delicious! The meat is incredibly flavorful and moist without being overly soggy and comprising the bread. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful letting us know what other people order, what was coming out fresh, and what their personal favorites are. Though we did take out, we chilled inside a bit while we waited for order and loved the aesthetic. Super clean, bright, and good music. A bit on the pricey side for a lunch sandwhich but also worth it for quality food! Can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Deborah A.

Yelp
No way. Sub par food. My chicken sandwich #17 tasted like it was 2 weeks old and was inedible, had to throw it away. Pastrami was meh. Will not go back
google avatar

Philip S.

Yelp
Great iteration of the New York style Jewish deli but in the middle of New Jersey. Loved the pastrami sandwich and fries.

Fern W.

Yelp
I went with a group of friends to have a deli lunch. Everyone ordered sandwiches and they were delicious. But one of the sandwiches was incorrectly prepared. Not a big deal, but not only did the owner bring the new sandwich immediately, but she brought us two free desserts afterwards to make up for her mistake. Btw, The desserts were out of this world. The place was clean and roomy for a big group And the staff was friendly and attentive. Great food for pickup or eating in.
google avatar

Nathan S.

Yelp
We tried this place out because I love pastrami sandwiches and their sandwiches did not disappoint! Their sandwich was lean and tasted super good! I also loved that they had Jewish food as I have never had latkes, kugel, etc from any place in my area. Their latkes were good and the kugel was ok. This is also a new place so I think they have a lot to learn still. I am not a Resturants's owner so I don't have any professional experience but, to me, there were some obvious things they need to fix to improve their deli. 1. There are too many options. They have empanadas, sandwiches, cookies, desserts, and there are so many options. This makes it overwhelming to order and it also means they can't possibly make everything they offer good. Ex; the max and cheese empanadas were a innovative and cool idea but they didn't taste that good. They should focus on the food they are good at making like sandwiches and latkes. 2. They have too many employees. Because they are new, they don't have many customers and most of the employees don't do much. The max amount of people they had in there while we were there was 6 and they had at least 5 people working there. This means that the employees had nothing to do most of the time which just seems like a waste of money and time. 3. Don't put catering options on the back of the menu. It's fine that they offer catering but having all of the catering options on the back of the menu made it more confusing and overwhelming. I would suggest making a sign or small area on the menu that says you offer catering instead of having all of the options on the menu. Overall the restaurant was pretty and had some interesting items but I don't think we will be going there very often. I am excited to see what there future is like and I hope they succeed!

Yelp
Went there for lunch after Sunday Funday with friends. Pastrami sandwich was delicious. Monica the owner was really attentive, helpful and friendly. Will definitely recommend friends and family to eat there!

Yelp
My first time to pastrami house and I was very much looking forward to it given that I'm a New York deli aficionado of sorts. First the good I ordered the combo, pastrami and corned beef on rye with a potato kinish. Both the sandwich and the Kinish were amazing and pretty good size for a $17 sandwich. The kinish seemed like it was deep-fried, which made the exterior crispy and delicious though I could've done without the added fat. I guess that's why I ordered a diet Dr. Browns lol The not so good I ordered the sandwich with a side of mustard and thousand Island dressing and I didn't get that, I got the sandwich with mustard already on it. Not a tragedy because that's how I would've likely eaten it, but I would've liked to have gotten my order correct. The coleslaw is nothing to write home about though it wasn't terrible I attribute this and the nearly 15 minute wait to growing pains since they've just opened. Also got a discount as a new customer you may want to mention it ifs your first time there. I'll definitely be back
google avatar

Paul R.

Yelp
I'm very picky on what I eat. No sauces, only one type of salad dressing. First time having a hot pastrami sandwich. On rye, with Swiss cheese and no dressings. I probably ruined it for some people, but it was just as I ordered. Portion was large and I had a real hard time conquering the massive pile of juicy meat. If back in the area and the opportunity arose, I would do again. To the staff, thank you and continued success please.

Yelp
I am so disappointed to write this! For starters the staff was great and the store itself is very clean and super cute! I ordered the tuna sandwich from the New providence location (pictured) and it was to die for, not kidding top 3 tuna sandwich I've had in my life, perfect amount of mayo, perfect serving plus came with a fresh crunchy pickle and delicious chips. I have been thinking about it for the last 9 days so obviously wanted to try the new one in a Morristown! The tuna was dry, lacked flavor and was really not good to eat. The bread was delicious but the slicers were sooooo big. That combined with the texture of the dry tuna was really hard to eat. I was bummed they didn't include chips too but at least I had the pickle...wrong. It was crunchy and had a perfume? Taste. I hope they can work on quality control. I was a bit disappointed

Abigail A.

Yelp
Written on behalf of my mother... I was born and bred in Brooklyn and grew up going to delis and am used to enjoying a delicious corned beef or pastrami sandwich. Today my daughter and I went here with great hopes of enjoying a hot pastrami on rye. Here's what we received: A sandwich that I believe was corned beef but was told that it was in fact pastrami because it had black on the edge. It was bland, flavorless and fatty. The French fries and onion rings which were frozen (the kind you buy in the supermarket). A thimble sized container of inedible Cole slaw and a small pickle. This was served on a paper plate with no utensils, no table service, and to top it off the price was excessive. My dear father always said you remember the quality long after you forget the price, I will not forget either. The owner should visit a New York deli to experience quality pastrami, homemade fries and onion rings.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
This was a special trip as it was my birthday, and I was looking forward to a pastrami sandwich. Unfortunately, I want that. I ordered it and got it home. The meat was very dry not tender looking at the receipt. The price was way higher than I would've imagined for such a dry sandwich at $17 but just know that I was very disappointed and probably will never go back to there even though it's close to my house
google avatar

Ken S.

Yelp
Dissatisfied and disappointed because I specifically requested "shaved" pastrami and "shaved" corned beef and discussed that with the young man who took my order. Instead, we received thick cuts of meat ( approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inches thick) on all 3 of our sandwiches. The flavor of the meat was just ok and nothing to rave about. This was a take out order and I also did not receive my side order of coleslaw in our bag but didn't notice that until we arrived home 30 miles away. If you're looking for something exceptional, my advice is to keep looking. I spent $80 dollars for 3 sandwiches and feel like I was deceived. So very disappointed.

Ron D.

Yelp
The best pastrami I have ever had and phenomenal service. Unrealistically clean. Amazing ambiance.

Kristian V.

Yelp
I ordered the Rachel sandwich for pickup. Excellent sandwich but I requested the bread be lightly toasted and extra sauce. The sandwich didn't have either. I ordered online and I find that's always the case with online. Low percentage of getting what you ordered.

Jon E.

Yelp
We had a spread from the pastrami house for the Super Bowl and everyone loved it. The food was fresh, tasty, and the restaurant was great to work with.
google avatar

Guy D.

Yelp
I have been interested to try this location since its opening. The name alone would lead one to believe that they specialize in serving outstanding pastrami. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't that great. Although the service was very courteous and attentive, the product itself was not up to standard. The pastrami was rather bland and somewhat tough even though it was sliced very thin. I really do wish them well but they need to increase the quality of their product, especially if they are going to market their business as one that specializes in pastrami.

Brendan H.

Yelp
They commit the unpardonable sin of serving corned beef so chewy you could blow bubbles with it.
google avatar

Lucy B.

Yelp
Nice people but lousy pastrami. Ordered 2 sandwiches with mustard. Tough, chewy and flavorless pastrami.

Sanjay A.

Yelp
Fantastic pastrami reuben (Rachel's). I'm 100% al about Katz when I'm in Manhattan, so I know a pastrami. This is soft, moist, thick enough, and overall well made with flavor. I'll be back regularly.

John S.

Yelp
Just went down memory lane... Coming back from visiting my grandpa when I was a kid (50+ years ago), we always stopped at a real nice deli in the Bronx and I got a pastrami on rye with coleslaw and Russian dressing and a Dr. Brown Cel-ray I just had that at the pastrami house. It was awesome. Will have to come back and try their knishes & latkes and other items on the menu Highly recommended

Justin C.

Yelp
Amazing Pastrami spot! Great breakfast/lunch sandwiches too! Extremely pleasant staff, owner, and ambiance. Loved it. Definitely a must try

Al R.

Yelp
First visit, walked in Saturday afternoon, since I didn't want to pay the online ordering fees. Ordered two hot pastramis on rye, upgraded to the "Gold" cut. Sandwiches were perfect side and delicious. Unexpectedly came with a pickle slice (excellent) and a mouthful of Cole slaw (OK). Macaroni Salad very good as well. At inside, clean, pleasant environment, with helpful and friendly service. Will return!

Hilary K.

Yelp
I highly recommend Pastrami House for catering!!! They catered our Chanukah celebration this year, and the food, presentation and service were fantastic! Everything was so fresh and delicious. We will be back for more!!
google avatar

Yelp
Interesting concept, no waiter service. Food quality was very good. When you place your order, the cashier didn't seem to really know the menu. I wound up ordering a side of sour tomatoes not knowing that the sandwich came with a pickle. Not only that, I was told a side was one slice, when it was a whole tomato. I overpaid because I inadvertently ordered two. This was probably my fault. Owners didn't seem to care about any interaction with the customer. It is not a cheap lunch! All in over 25.00 for a sandwich, bottle of water and a side. Watch out for the mustard. They slather it on and it is overly spicy. Luckily, the pastrami was very good.

Yelp
Full service Jewish style delicatessen. Great pastrami with two choices of meat and lots of other delicacies such as potato latkes, potato salad and coleslaw.

Yelp
First time visitor to the Pastrami House, and it definitely won't be the last. Can't say more about the friendliness of the staff. Impeccably clean place as well! The food was delicious and will definitely be added into the hierarchy of great sandwich places in the Morristown area. Must visit!!!

Yelp
I tried the pastrami and corned beef. Meat was moist and flavorful. Prices are more reasonable and taste was better compared to other nearby Jewish style delis.

Yelp
Great Reuben! The sides have also been delicious so far. Very convenient Lunch/Brunch place in Morristown.

Yelp
Pastrami on point! Stuffed cabbage delicious and the pastrami egg roll, freshly fried. I will be back to try another sandwich and some of their other hot foods. I forgot to mention all of the sweets. I didn't grab any this time but will, the next time I'm there.

Yelp
Nobody greeted us as we walked in. They don't offer wait service. We had to walk up to a register. The matzah balls in the soup were bland and tasteless, and the pastrami sandwich was almost tasteless or some type of low quality meat. Not sure they even know what is good service and food. Very disappointing. Maybe it's for locals looking for a quick sandwich or there's something else they're good at.

Yelp
I recently ordered a pastrami sandwich. I expected a traditional kosher style NY pastrami sandwich. This sandwich was not it. It was generous , however the meat was way too lean and it did not taste at all like the Jewish deli version that I am used to. The deli is cute and very clean but not a kosher style at all!
