Wha a great time! Musicians were fantastic and so much fun!!! They are so talented. Able to play so many genres and kept it fun. Even mindful of a few littles in the crowd and censored to keep it family friendly but still fun! Way to go!!! Drinks and food a bit pricey but the experience was great fun! I’m so glad we made time for this experience!

This place is located in the Universal City Walk. They have a bar area, a dining area with live music, and the outside area. The food is Southern style. I’m always there for the crawfish étouffée and beignets! The service was great. You can also request the songs.

We went to Pat O'Briens this evening not fully knowing what to expect. All we really went in hoping for was good, flavorful Cajun food. And it's safe to say, they delivered. By far the tastiest meal we've had on our four day trip thus far. I can't think of any issues or complaints. The Fried Pickles and Oreo Beignets are to die for!

Nice venue. Dined in the open garden area. Bayou burger was very nice. Wings were nice but way too expensive for 8 wings. Food took a long time to get to the table but we were happy to sit and talk and absorb the atmosphere while we waited.

Latoya provided exceptional and personable service. The food was fantastic, from the fried pickles, wings, poutine and burger. Oh and the desserts! *chef's kiss* The dueling pianos were fantastic too! Head upstairs at city walk for great food, service and a great atmosphere!

Fun piano bar with great service and good food! My husband and young adult kids were on a trip to Universal Studios. We were looking for a place in Citywalk without a huge wait. We were able to be seated right away in the piano room. We were able to enjoy the musical stylings of 3 different pianists who were all incredible. The portions of the food seemed a little small for what you pay, BUT the food was absolutely delicious!

We've been coming to Orlando for years and never thought to try this place. So glad we finally did. The atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. We started with the biscuits and gravy appetizer and it was delicious. We did think it was a bit too small though. For the mains we had the jambalaya and the Cajun Mac N cheese with penne. The pasta was really good and a good size. After a few bites I asked for parmesan cheese to add to it and to me made it even better. The chicken pieces were good but could have used a bit more seasoning. The jambalaya was excellent. Good size and really nice flavours. Could have been spicier though. They have a stage for live music and they had a gentleman playing on the patio. He was truly good and even took song requests. Overall a great dinner and will be back to try other dishes!

This is an awesome piano bar and the food wasn't half bad. The staff did a great job of getting our food and drinks out quickly. The bathrooms were clean and overall it was just a great evening.

Great vibe! Super lively. I wasn't sure if they allowed kids, so we asked at the door and the staff at the door greeted us warmly. They do allow kids which was great so we decided to have dinner there. We ordered the jambalaya and shrimp and grits plus the kids' grilled shrimp and rice that came with a side of grapes. Everything was delicious. I also tried their Bloody Mary and it was really good. The service was excellent and our server was very attentive. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated. Overall if you are in the area and looking for a fun lively spot with live music, definitely give this place a try.

By nature, singalong piano bars are going to deliver a great time, and Pat O'Brien's Piano Bar and Pub at Universal CityWalk is basically the perfect mix of rowdy fun and classic New Orleans charm. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a lively, festive atmosphere, lots of warm wood tones, and that unmistakable sound of raucous pianos. The main draw here is of course the dueling pianos. The musicians are energetic, funny, and will take requests, sometimes roasting the audience in the most playful way possible. It's part performance, part interactive experience, and all-around good time. Now, the quality of the performers make a huge difference. It's a draw whether you'll luck out or get a couple of duds, but I have usually been able to make it work no matter who is playing. Drinks are strong and plentiful, and the Hurricane cocktail lives up to its legendary reputation. The menu has classic bar fare so you can make a night of it if you're hungry, but this is more of a drinking bar. It can get packed, but there are tons of tables around the pianos as well as off towards the back if you're looking for a "quieter" evening (relatively speaking). My major criticism here is that they have the dueling piano volume just way too loud. Like painfully loud. Bring earplugs or you will be in pain. I don't get why bars feel like they have to have the volume cranked up to 11 in order to bring the fun. It's the patrons who do that, and we can't stay too long unless we want our eardrums to start bleeding. Pat O'Brien's is a fun piano bar spot (I still prefer Orlando staple Howl at the Moon, but this isn't a bad choice if you're in the Universal resort area). It offers lively music, strong drinks, and a fun party atmosphere.

I grabbed a Hurricane before going to Horror Nights and they confirmed it was gluten free. It was good but pretty overpriced. I've been to the real Pat O'Brien's in Nola so it had some similar vibes to that.

A bar with good food next to Orlando Universal Studios to end your day at the park. We went on a Sunday evening and it has live music still with lots of locals and tourists and it's a very good vibe. The famous Hurricane cocktail is delicious, boozy and a good portion. The food are tasty and authentic New Orleans style dishes. Definitely recommend this if you wish to grab a dinner nearby the park!

The shrimp and grits were great but I felt incredibly rushed to check out at the bar by Travis, I was still eating my meal and having my drink when he asked if I had any discounts to check out. The bar itself wasn't busy so I don't understand the rush.

The myriad of choices on City Walk can be so overwhelming. We unexpectedly visited the universal parks on prom night and found most of the eateries to be packed! Because we would have endured an extended wait in our first pick restaurant, we decided to try something new and did so happily at the Cajun themed Pat O'Briens! They were able to seat us promptly thanks in part to the large establishment. It was spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating available. And of course, dinner comes with a show here. The piano bar was great fun and the players accept requests! If you prefer a quieter meal, request to be seated outside. Once seated and enjoying the music, we were greeted by a friendly server and put in our varied order. Our table enjoyed Creole Chicken, jambalaya, and for me the Shrimp and Grits. The food really exceeded our expectations! I know that I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits plate. It was flavor packed and quite hardy. Praise was sung by the entire table and all plates were cleared. I would definitely come back to Pat O'Briens and do recommend it. I would note though that the service was a tad slow. Took a bit of time for a server to come around. Definitely a bit slower paced than some of the other city walk options but at least you have entertainment! I'd also opt for outdoor seating next time as the music was really loud and made conversation a bit difficult. Felt like the volume could come down a notch, especially during the typical dinner window of 6-8pm. But, all minor notes. I really found the food delicious and on theme!

I got one of the drinks from here and it made me feel deathly ill. It literally felt like I got roofied. Absolutely awful experience-do not recommend!

They have the best hurricanes and they don't skimp on the liquor!! Only stopped in for a quick drink but it was worth it!!

We stopped in for an early dinner and the piano players were already going. The service was good and food was so tasty. I ordered jambalaya and it was full of flavor. The piano players were fun with the crowd and had great voices. It wasn't too crowded when we were there, but I'm sure it's a hot spot when the parks close during the dinner rush.

We went to City Walk after a full day of moving. We wanted a laid back atmosphere so we went to Patty's. We were not disappointed they had live music (dueling pianos). It was fun. The Devore reminded me of a traditional Irish pub with a lot of tables and no booths. The servicer Sean was very attentive and made great recommendations for food because it he food is not traditional Irish. The food has a kind of Cajun style. With that being said the food was am amazing. We had the Jambalaya and the shrimp and grits. They we both not traditional but they were very good. You have to try the hurricane if you go. You get to keep the glass.

This is a fun place to hangout and listen to live music. Some of the musicians have been working here for over 15 years. They keep it PG before 10pm but it can get a bit more relaxed after 10pm when they stop allowing kids under 18 in. Some nights are better than others, but they have no control over what people request. It's a lot of 70s and 80s songs mainly. They will play more current songs if they can find the sheet music online. I will probably stick to ordering sparkling wine since it's from the small bottles and not free pour. The pinot grigio I ordered from the piano bar was a light pour. They have at least three bars here but I haven't walked through the entire restaurant. They have limited seating at the bar to the left when you walk in. So if you want to hang out here and watch a sporting event, get here early. They also have a drink to go window that opens onto the upper area of CityWalk. You're allowed to take drinks around CityWalk but they won't let you past the exit toward the parking area. I have noticed that they don't seem to check if you have a drink that doesn't look like alcohol. They also don't check bags again as you leave the park.

The dueling pianos are AMAZING!!!! This place definitely passed the New Orleans vibe test. We had a great time. Our server was so sweet, I can't say enough good things about her. I got a bowl of gumbo and it was spot on. The flavor was on point. My daughter got jambalaya and it had the perfect amount of spice. And my mom got the blackened chicken breast with red beans and rice. And we finished with some beignets. Everything was delicious and I have no complaints!

Food here was good, with generous portions and plenty of flavor - esp with their yummy jambalaya and how its spices and heat hit just right for me. However, the main issue for me this night was how slow the service was because it took about an hour for me to get my food - though I'd attribute it to how short staffed this place seemed, as it appeared that there was only one server for the half of the restaurant I was seated at. Regardless, it's a pretty chill piano bar with cute and cozy vibes. Pat O Briens was a fun night out . We really liked the live piano players dueling piano show. They were fun and lively and knew a lot of music. They were great pianists! We had dinner while we're were there but we were too distracted to take pictures. The food was ok, the one fun cocktail we tried was ok too. Not much alcohol but pretty much what you would expect from a tourist area for food and drink. We switched to beer and wine and stayed until the music stopped. If you've never been to a piano bar ( or even if you have) Pat OBriens is a fun stop in Universal City Walk.

This is my favorite restaurant on CityWalk after a tiring day of theme park fun. The concept is a dueling piano bar with Cajun/Creole food! I recommend making a reservation on Universal's website - it's easy and this restaurant can get crowded during dinner rush! I do not recommend walking in because you might get seated on the patio, which is away from the lively piano musicians in the bar. The singers and piano players were fantastic and they were taking song requests from the crowd. My fiancé and I didn't order any drinks and opted for some yummy dinner selections instead - Mardi Gras Gumbo (bowl), Jambalaya, Bayou Blackened Catfish. My favorite out of the three was the Gumbo. Excellent flavor and big chunks of shrimp! The soup was piping hot. The catfish had a great cook and a delicious andouille cream sauce. My least favorite was actually the jambalaya. I wish it was hotter and more they were more generous with the protein. The average price of an entree is $17, which may seem steep to some reviewers but it's pretty on par with other restaurants in CityWalk. My fiancé and I are from San Francisco, so the pricing was not scary for us at all (we're just happy we're not paying SF prices lol)

Really fun place. Dueling pianos do lots of sing along songs. They take requests from the audience which is great. Lots of other options very close for other options.

The pulled pork sliders were tasty. The soft pretzels are a fave of mine. But, the beer cheese was a bit too salty for my taste. It was a fun vibe overall. The pianists are talented. They pretty much were able to sing nearly all of our requests and they encourage singing along. I would recommend an occasional DJ to diversify the entertainment.

Came here for dinner after a day at Universal resorts. This is a New Orleans, duel piano playing establishment. Reservations are preferred but they also have bar and outdoor seating I had shrimp and grits. It was good actually my friend had jambalaya. It looked really dry lol

I've never lived in NOLA, I won't claim to be a NOLA expert, but I've been there a few times and Pat O'Briens gave me the NOLA vibe! We came a bit early for our reservation, and we were immediately seated which was great. It seems like they hold tables for those that make reservations, by putting reserved signs on the tables being held, and I really appreciate when restaurants are able to provide timely accommodation to those that make reservations. I enjoyed the dueling pianos more than I thought I would. It is fun how they take requests from the audience, which makes it quite a bit more interactive, and it's a fun environment to enjoy a few drinks in, but not something that is inappropriate to bring your children to. Onto the dinner itself. Our server was good, timely, and there were no issues there. My wife daughter and I shared the Cajun Mac and Cheese and the Crawfish Étouffée, I found both to be very pleasant, they had that distinct Cajun/earthy heat, but I did not find it to be overpowering or offensive. The Mac and Cheese was creamy, the shrimp was cooked well, and I'm a sucker for Étouffée with the slight salt/spice of the andouille sausage mixed with the slightly sweet sauce. Dinner was great! For dessert, I found the bread pudding to be very enjoyable, but the beignets were a bit disappointing to me. The beignets, instead of being light and airy, they were more like a funnel cake where the consistency was more chewy in the center and they were a little more solid around the edges. Overall, this would certainly be a restaurant we would come back and visit again.

We had a reservation for tonight only to arrive and find out they aren't open due to a 'special event', and all other restaurants in the area are booked for the next three hours. Not a great last night of our vacation. Customer service was not very understanding or willing to help. I think you've missed the point per your response. I had a reservation, made in July and confirmed. At the time of confirmation, your hours fit with my reservation. If you then changed your hours such that you were not open at the time of my reservation, you should have notified me so I could make other plans in time.

I have been to Pat O'Brien's twice and both times I had a great experience. My second visit was last night with my husband on a date night. He reserved a table for us in the lounge with the pianists. The mardi gras garland and giant decorative bead garland was nice, but I was confused about why they had beer steins hanging from the ceiling. Drinks were a little pricey, but that's pretty common in theme parks. I am from south Mississippi, and I grew up cooking and eating Creole food, Pat O'Brien delivers some solid food. We started out with a hurricane and a mint julep. The hurricane was decent and the mint julep had a good amount of mint and was not skimpy on the bourbon. For an appetizer we had the crawfish dip. It was cheesy, savory, full of crawfish, and perfectly paired with warm tortilla chips! We split a cup of gumbo and the blackened redfish. The gumbo had a flavorful roux and delicious shrimp. My one critique would be that most gumbo has at least two types of meat like chicken, andouille sausage, and shrimp. The redfish was AMAZING! It was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and the cream sauce with rice and corn was a delicious pairing. I would definitely eat here again. Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+++!

Dropped in to have entertainment while dining. Wanted a relaxing atmosphere to spend time with visiting family. This definitely fulfilled our wish for the evening. The music and atmosphere was awesome. Drinks were outstanding. Our server, Brittany, was great and took care of everything we asked. I would definitely recommend for a relaxing evening out for drinks and appetizers. The menu is great as well.

The Hurricane was tasty! It was very busy after the T-Pain concert, but both bartenders did amazing given the amount of people that all came at once and having to work the outside wall up window.

Our first time at Universal City walk and we stopped in at Pat O'Brien's for dinner. Ok... we thought it was an Irish Bar... and from the looks of the deco... you would think so too. Instead we were happily suprised to find it is a Creole kitchen, with amazing gumbo and spicy treats for your soul. The portions were satisfying, I had the gumbo with shrimp (you can get a cup but I opted for a bowl) The saucy spicy gumbo was great, and the Ales and famous "Hurricane drink" were hits with our party. The atmosphere is indoor and outdoor, with a creole/martigras street vibe.

Nice bar and great party atmosphere. I didn't like my margarita I ordered just a little too much sour mix. My boyfriend had the hurricane which was okay. And he got the souvenir glass which the staff kept in the box which is much appreciated! Staff was great and friendly

Food: good for the price. Typical theme park food really Music: Jim was great, we got there before 5 and he was enjoyable. He very obviously didn't know any modern music which was a disappointment but he rocked out the oldies. Waitress was awesome, Brittany was attentive and checked on us continuously. The bartender Jason was ok. We went there first and he was fine, very nice. He was extremely rude to other employees which was uncalled for and visible to us as patrons. The manager approached us to find out what happened and when we left Jason gave us nasty looks with an attitude. We will return if Jason is not there or if someone else is there to wait on us at the bar. Disappointing ending to the evening.

I was nervous about bringing 2 kids here on a Friday night. We always like to stay in the parks until they close, then have dinner at Citywalk. When we got there it was about 60% full. Despite the late hour, there were other tables with kids. The food and service were great. The piano singers were entertaining. We will definitely be back.

Two of us came in for supper after being skunked for years due to being closed for a private function. It seemed as if we just couldn't experience this Pat O'Brien's and measure it against the Pat O'Brien's experience we had in New Orleans. We decided to start with the Crab Beignets and follow with a Chicken Sandwich and a Jambalaya. Our server, Abby, was pleasant and brought two wonderful Hurricanes to start. The glasses are collectible so you can take them home. A nice touch but I really don't need more souvenir glasses. The glasses they give you are boxes and clean, so you don't have to worry about carting dirty glasses around. The Crab Beignets were awesome. There were five of them so we shared them. Fresh, piping hot and very tasty. A great starter. I must say, the Jambalaya was very good. True New Orleans. Lots of spice and a strong smoked sausage flavour. I really enjoyed it. The Chicken Sandwich was reported to be good too. It was a very large portion but was enjoyed. They lost a star because our table was on an angle so don't settle for a table against the brick wall. Also, the other alternative was inside, which was too noisy for this old guy. All in all, we felt as if we were in New Orleans. Well done.

The food was delicious, very authentic! Me and my partner are from New Orleans and we were surprised how at home it felt! The outdoor patio area was very cute! The cook is from Louisiana so he knew what he was doing! Definitely will come back, 10/10 recommend!

Good food and beverage options based on the New Orleans theme that is Pat O'Brien's heritage. The surprise was the dueling piano bar and the quality of the performers and level of customer participation. An enjoyable time and would happily return. Tip: when ordering the wings, ask for extra sauce as the ramekins are small.

Very good location. Ordered the shrimp Poboy. The bread was hard. Nice atmosphere outside. Slow Saturday night. It took some time for the food to come out.

Pat OBRiens is a great place to enjoy a meal and drinks or just a night out. As opposed to other dueling piano bars, they offer a more friendly atmosphere and it doesn't hurt that they're adjacent to a theme park. During my last visit, I ordered a Rainstorm which was delicious and a good value for the price. I haven't had a bad drink whenever I've gone, so you're sure to give something you like here.

This is not the iconic Pat O's in New Orleans but it's a decent place to grab a seat, enjoy some piano music and have a bite to eat. Both the food and drink are okay, but I would not rate this place as 'great', but it's better than most places in City Walk. We had the * Crawfish Etouffe which was okay. Not as good as you can get from a good Cajun or Creole place but acceptable. * Cajun Mac N Cheese - another okay dish but it seemed it was more of a lunch portion than a dinner portion. We did order a Hurricane to try and it tasted just like the ones you get in New Orleans (which really aren't that great). Oh what a great time we had at Pat O'briens at Universal CityWalk in Orlando! The atmosphere, service and decor will capture your imagination; the music and laughter will enchant you but the food will bring you back for sure! We strolled a bit around Univeral CityWalk before we decided to stay for a light dinner, we did not regret we chose Pat O'Brien! We had a lovely evening listening to live music and watching dancers. For dinner, my husband had the Cajun Shrimp and Grits while I had their Gumbo; both dishes came accompanied by house salad! They were delicious and fresh! Of course, I was not going to pass on one of my favorite desserts! Beignets!! Yummy!!! They brought me back to New Orleans! What a great experience! Loved the food, service and atmosphere at Pat O'Briens!

This place is always a good time! Nestled in Universal City Walk we like coming here after a long day at the parks or just to watch the dueling piano show! We only ordered some drinks and listened to music and it was all great!

Headline: Decent option for shade and staying cool. Think above average bar food when you think of this place. They have a variety of options that look pretty good, but nothing taste like it sounds. The ambiance is what it sounds like, an Irish bar with NO roots. The service was great and timely. The piano bar is cool, but lacks diverse awareness. We put in some Prince, Stevie and many more artist known for great piano tunes, but not once did our songs get selected and that was with tip. Overall, decent if it's raining or it's extremely hot.

It was the end of a very long day of exploring Universal Studios and we were both in the mood for a restaurant where we could sit down and relax for a bit, so we began looking at the various eateries in the area. They were all super busy but eventually we stumbled upon Pat O'Brien's. It sounded familiar but better still it wasn't too busy, so we snagged a table in their relaxing outdoor seating area. I wasn't planning to get a drink, but I noticed their claim that the invented the Hurricane ("The house specialty made with Pat O'Brien's 151 rum and Hurricane mix served in a souvenir glass"), so I pretty much had no choice but to order one. I'm so glad I did because it's a seriously delicious beverage. It's fruity but not to sweet, and the rum adds a nice background flavor. For my main, I decided to go with the Crawfish Étouffée ("New Orleans sauce, andouille sausage, crawfish, white rice"). It arrived and I was immediately impressed. Plenty of sauce and rice? It's totally up my alley. My first bites told me it tasted just as good as it looked, if not better. This is one rich, delicious stew, with a magnificent roux at its core. And it's loaded with bites of sausage and crawfish, too. This has to be one of the best things I've eaten in a while, and I'd chow down on it weekly if I could. I was super full at this point but I had to get dessert and see if it lived up to the heights of the main. We decided to go with the Bag O' Beignets ("New Orleans style doughnuts, powdered sugar, chocolate dipping sauce"). It turned out to be the perfect capper to a delicious meal. The beignets were hot and delicious, and were perfectly complemented by the chocolate dipping sauce. It's so odd to me that Pat O'Brien's wasn't completely packed because I don't think you could do any better in terms of resultants in this area. And the dishes were all surprisingly affordable, too.

Stumbled upon this place because it was one of the few places that wasn't extremely packed and we were able to find a seat for dinner at the bar. They had 2 bars to choose from, we were told one had dueling pianos, so that's what we chose. I am usually not a big fan of live music, but it was super good! It wasn't too loud to the point where you can't hear/talk to the person you're with either which was nice. While we were there, they played exclusively what was requested by everyone in the dining room. The bartender had great service, and the food was phenomenal. I ordered the bayou burger, which had bacon and andouille sausage on it. It sounded a little weird, but all of the flavors came together very well and it was all cooked perfectly. It came with a side of fries which were seasoned to be a perfect amount of spicy, and they were nice and crispy! This place was a little pricey - $17 for the burger and another $17 for a drink, however, since we were in CityWalk it wasn't terrible. Plus there was free entertainment! Overall I was very impressed and would definitely go back if I came to CityWalk.

This place was so fun! I've been to piano bars before, but only to drink, not to eat as well. My only complaint was that it was incredibly loud and s but tricky to hear the waiter, but the environment all around was great. We ordered the gumbo, shrimp po-boy, jambalaya, cajun Mac and cheese, and the shrimp etoufee. Of course along with some hurricanes. Everything was really tasty!

Pat O'Brien's is a great spot for live music. The pianists are unbelievably talented and really make the experience. When we stopped in on Saturday night we were seated right away and our server was friendly and attentive. We had the Crab Beignets as an appetizer and they were seriously delicious. Then there was a mixup and we had to wait about an hour for our food. Our server and the manager both came and checked on us frequently and even offered us free beignets for dessert. These things happen but the staff was so friendly and the music was so great we didn't mind! Thank you Pat O'Briens for a great night!

We were just in Orlando for the week and had Pat's on Sunday. Family enjoyed the food, the service, and especially the piano players. When we came back on Thursday, the service was good as well as the food but what our girls remember is the piano player remembering us (California). Great memories made here. Would recommend highly.

We visited Pat O'Brien's on a Saturday night for my friend's birthday. The piano players were just awesome, especially Rob the Piano Guy who accommodated all of our crazy requests from learning the Spanish version of "Waka Waka" to "this is what dreams are made of" from the Lizzie McGuire movie. The drinks came out fast and were tasty, and we loved the beignets as always. It was an awesome night thanks to the crew there at Pat's! Sorry to the other guests who had to deal with our loud and obnoxious singing along to every song we knew.

I've been to this restaurant many times when I lived in Orlando and worked at the post production studio on site at Universal. It doesn't really live up to the reputation of the original in New Orleans. Please fix the name. It should be "Pat O'Brien's" instead of "Pat O'brien's". The "B" should be capitalized like it is on the sign outside the restaurant, and on the wall inside the restaurant, and on all the glasses used to serve drinks, and on all the napkins placed under those glasses when the drinks are served, and everywhere else except on Yelp.
