"This restaurant in a pretty little alley is one of just a few Middle Eastern restaurants in CDMX, but the real selling point of Pat Patz is the menu’s Mexican influence. Dishes like labneh get an extra kick from Mexican spices on top and juicy kebab kofta de res y cordero uses jalapeños. Go to town on the mezze—especially the hearty falafel kebab with hummus and roasted beets—and the drink menu, which includes beer from small-batch breweries, mezcal, wine, and a refreshing Persian lemonade with mint, cucumber, and rose water. Come for lunch to hide from the crowds on Reforma Avenue, and don’t be surprised if the owner who doubles as a server comes over to chat." - guillaume guevara

Wow, super authentic Middle Eastern food. I am honestly so impressed. We ordered the Mediterranean Platter, the chicken shawarma kebab and the baklava and ice cream dessert. Everything was delicious, and the standout is the Chicken Shawarma - perfectly seasoned and grilled. You can also taste the ingredient quality. I will be back for sure!

Very good option for Middle Eastern meal in this part of the city, only complaint with the food is that is was too spicy, but then again its CDMX. The waiter was friendly and cordial, but she was the only one working at the time I visited

I liked this place very much. The wrap was well cooked. Tabule and babaghanoush were made a bit different from what I have experienced before but it was good to try a new recipe. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Pat Patz and was truly taken aback by the flavor explosion! Every dish I tried was packed with flavor and I liked it so much I went back a second time. :) Between my visits, I tried the hummus, chicken plate, lamb & beef kofta plate, baklava, namura, and the INCREDIBLE künefe. The savory plates were absolutely bursting with flavor, full of bold vibrant spices, and the desserts were perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, just right. But that künefe? I'm still dreaming of her! I’ve had künefe in a lot of places, but nothing comes close to this one. It was beautifully crispy on the outside, gooey and cheesy in the middle, and that scoop of ice cream on top was chef's kiss! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who shared the story behind Pat Patz...from an idea inspired by his time in NYC, to a humble food cart, and finally to what honestly deserves to be a Michelin-starred restaurant. I loved hearing his perspective on showcasing both the diversity and the deep interconnections across the Middle East and North Africa, and how trade and migration may lead to shared dishes, but each culture adds its own signature. Oh, and about 70% of the menu is Palestinian, which we love to see. If you’re in CDMX, I encourage you to make it a point to visit Pat Patz. You won’t regret it. P.S. Don’t skip the Persian lemonade...and the mint tea with your dessert!

Food was ok or average. I got the fries, which were over cooked and hard so I didn’t finish it. The main dish was a bowl of chicken, rice, salad, bread. The chicken had some pieces over cooked and dry. the marinade was overpowering the entire dish but has some potential. At the end I got coffee and that was really good. Although this place is average I think I’ll give this place another shot. I didn’t take a picture because I was starving. Sorry

I was craving felafels and delicious middle eastern food and found this place on the G map, the pictures and the reviews speak for themselves absolutely delicious food at very reasonable prices considering the location and the Gourmet quality of the food, I am totally hooked on this place! It's got a great atmosphere, in an alley with bunch of other really good bars and restaurants around it, it's totally NYC 🗽 style. if you love middle eastern food then Definitely go here, you won't be disappointed. The owner is super nice guy, speaks fluent English and if he's got time hell come and stit have a drink with you. That's how you know the man truly cares about his customers and the food he serves.

Amazing little restaurant hidden behind the hustle and bustle of Reforma. I saw this restaurant featured on Instagram and I just had to try it. I had a chicken shawarma and it was so delicious! It has just a bit too much onion for my liking but the flavor was there! The service was a bit slow but the staff were friendly.
